the breakfast sandwich I got was not good at all, both times I went there. The egg was extremely dry and overcooked, seemed like a pre-cooked egg patty. Definitely not the food quality Grit in Charlottesville has. Great cold brew coffee though!

The staff here is so incredibly friendly and because it is a neighborhood coffee shop it's a bit like 'Cheers'- they know you by name and you'll always run into a friend.

Grit - Crozet is my coffee shop of choice! Everything I have had there has been amazing from my breakfast sandwiches to the decaf cafe con leche while out on date night. And may I add that their cheesecakes are incredible!! The staff are kind and the view is amazing. Why go anywhere else?

Good place, great staff and great coffee. Kids that come in after school, particularly on Friday's, are out of control. They act like it's a school gym rather than a place of business. Someone needs to set some rules and expectations.

Authentic espresso, quick and tasty basic food options. The coffee was well made by our barista, both a Cuban espresso and a mocha we're both well done, not just thrown together by someone mashing buttons on an automatic machine. They don't prepare food on the spot, but we tried some of the premade options and they were also very tasty and hit the spot. Would be happy to go again, it's very good and very quick for the quality you get.

My wife absolutely loved the coffee. I only ended up getting some breakfast item that came out really bland and not something I'd get again. The environment is friendly and there was plenty of room to hang around for awhile.

This place is awesome. Great atmosphere with indoor (comfy seats!) and outdoor seating. A little nook in the corner where your kiddo can play with some toys or a small chalk board. I had the black bean hummus wrap for lunch then on a second visit (the next day) the avocado toast; both were delicious. Definitely coming back here the next time I'm in town!

I found it a warm, welcoming environment with a fireplace, comfy chairs, and an area just for kids. The iced decaffeinated coffee was robust and served promptly. Some patrons fail to read the "no pets" sign clearly posted on the door, just so you know if allergies are an issue.
