Very good food and friendly staff. Would never get the same service back home in NJ. Highly recommend
Cool place with couches to read, tables and a bar. Live music and delicious nachos.
I have gone to Cristina's for over 3 years now and though I don't live in the area anymore, I love coming though when I'm in town. The food is fresh and delicious. I've had the nachos, the burger, the chicken club, the salads, and more and the only time I'm disappointed is when the plate is empty! And I'm a seriously picky eater (think toddler). I don't like cilantro (I'm one of those folks who just tastes soap when I eat it), but their salad dressing, (which a acquaintance told me has it as in ingredient) is such a great balance that I don't even notice! It's delicious. Also, the cookies and bakery items are wonderful. We always get cookies when we go and this weekend I had a triple chocolate cheesecake that was heaven. They have a decent selection of beer, cider, and wine, as well. There is a small bar area, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is surrounded by lush flowers and greenery in the spring and summer. They also have a lot of artwork and things from local artists you can purchase and Sunday Open Mic (with rotating local musicians as hosts) is one of my all time favorites. Also, the wait staff is great and treats you like family. They get a little busy sometimes and you may have to work a little extra to catch an eye sometimes, but they do try to check on you a lot and will do their best to make sure you enjoy yourself. I definitely recommend Cristina's to anyone visiting or people who live nearby. :)
So we love this place for out 1st visit
Excellent, eclectic menu with delicious food choices!
Really fresh ingredients, felt like a good home cooked meal
We love Christina’s Cafe and also their food truck. Delicious food and excellent service
Fantastic food you will not find anywhere else! It's Just. Simply. Amazing! ESPECIALLY their breakfasts! One thing I enjoy the most is the diversity of fruit in the side of fruit or the yogurt parfait. Depending on the season and what they can purchase, you'll find some variations of the following ingredients: 1. Vanilla Greek yogurt 2. Granola sweet trail mix with coconut, sunflower, pumpkin seeds, and dried cranberries. 3. Fresh strawberries 4. Fresh grapes 5. Fresh blueberries 6. Cherries 7. Black berries 8. Bananas 9. Honey 10. Chunks of died mango...? I think...some kind of citrus fruit that's been dried. 11. Fresh kiwi
Christina's is awesome. Best place to go after a long hike or backpacking trip! Mountain Man breakfast is super filling and we always stop here on our way back to Northern Va.
Really nice place for lunch great service.
Quaint and charming restaurant with a surprisingly delicious and varied menu.
Food is great and locally harvested, deserts are made phenomenal too!
A fantastic dining experience. Delicious, fresh takes on food. Amazing coffee and baked goods. Great service.
I love this place. Had a great time at Open Mic on Sunday with my girlfriends.
Great menu, food was aweaome!
Fresh farm-to-table ingredients, delicious breakfast, and stellar staff
Brought our new puppy and the patio was great for a quick lunch. Good food, good service and lots to choose from.
The pros: delicious, hot breakfast that is fresh and organic. Excellent service and the waiter kept the coffee filled for us! We left stuff after getting our own breakfasts and splitting a shirt stack of whole grain pancakes (yummy!). Our food and service was overall top notch. The cons: they are a tad overpriced if they expect to compete with breakfast prices elsewhere, but considering the competition in town, they are probably the best breakfast with the highest price. Maybe you could consider that fair since they are organic, but I've never spent $40, tip included, on breakfast and I go to NYC every year. Atmosphere: I absolutely love the decor and the vibe, but not the seating. It doesn't affect the taste of the food, which was delicious.
Good food, good service, interesting artwork. Ticks the boxes
The bacon cheddar cheese hamburger on pretzel roll...Delicious, staff great, nice town. Will be coming back.
Awesome food. Service was a little slow, but they were busy. If you love fresh food made with love, come here and eat!
This place is wonderful, very comfortable and inviting. It offers a small but tasty menu full of healthy options for those of us that eat cleanly, as well as a surprisingly good beer list. Live music in the evenings has been great the few times that we experienced it. Staff is laid back and friendly, our favorite spot in Strasburg since moving here.
Always good food and atmosphere.
Love the Christina's salad! Great atmosphere, friendly workers.
Had a great breakfast here while passing through. Delicious scratch made food. Good service in an ecclectic setting. Good coffee
Great atmosphere and friendly staff, Probably the best assortment of music from around the country. There is always great music!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere
Friendly staff and great food. Definitely a gem
Best restaurant in the area
Hidden gem in the valley
The food is always amazing! They use local organic fresh ingredients, the staff is super friendly and we love the live bluegrass music.
Good food
We had a wonderful experience! Atmosphere was great and service was extremely friendly. The food was amazing! Kids loved their meals and would be a great place to stop for a bite if your traveling trough town.
This place is great. Service was wonderful. I have never had whole wheat pancakes like this. You should definitely visit. We were looking for a place to eat on our way to the Bronx.
Best breakfast I've had in ages. Herb roasted potatoes and breakfast burrito with house made chorizo. Hubby had biscuits with sausage gravy. We both enjoyed it immensely. I wish we lived closer. We'd easy here every week.
Great atmosphere, food, and service!
Excellent Coffee - great atmosphere. We has breakfast which is served until 3. The coffee is great not watery at all. The food was so good that it didn't need any additional spices or ketchup, not even on the potatoes. We will stop in again. We got desert to go.
I just had a salad with shrimp and it was very good. Very nice staff and everything was clean.
I would actually think of it more of a restaurant. It has coffee and Cafe fare, but also a lot of food options. I had a breakfast burrito, it was fresh and hot. Really good. My company had a burger which was also really good as I was told. The proteins there are said to be sourced well, as in grass fed, cage free, etc. Nice. Street parking only, average bathrooms...
Dinner was fantastic and the dessert was out of this world. Crystal, our server, gave us beyond exceptional service. We will definitely be returning frequently.
Small but good menu. Prompt and polite service.
Such a cute place!
Delicious lunch, great atmosphere. People are wonderful
Holy cow, everything was amazing. Get some Sangria!
Fortunately for me this is right across the street so I can grab a Mexican Mocha or a meal at any given time. One of my favorite places due to the live music and fresh foods. They are on the O'Shenandoah County Artisan Trail too.
Excellent service and food, thanks!
Great service. Excellent menu. Very good food. A little overpriced.
Two stars only due to the quality of the food, which is mostly good. Eggs were overcooked, but other than that, delicious. However, the service was appalling. Took 20 minutes to get our menu/acknowledgement from our waitress since it is self-seat. Then coffee cups remained empty for far longer than what would be considered acceptable. It also took forever to get our check. While here, we watched at least two other parties leave before even receiving menus or being acknowledged by staff, and snarky comments about people leaving made by staff shows a serious lack of professionalism.
Cute restaurant, good food, neat options, local art on the walls...
Many healthy alternatives and tantalizing treats as opposed to most entities' drab lunch menus. The waitress was precious, but too busy for just one.
Love!!! Crafty foods, exotic blends but amazingly yummy!! 6 STARS!
Food was very tasty but I'm only 120lbs and the $16 plate was barley enough food. I would of bought more if the server every offered. Also the waiter never brought us more drinks, being served only in a can not having more to drink is a problem. 3 stars because the food was delicious.
This place is really nice. I go often with my friends. The good is awesome and we especially love the atmosphere. You will really enjoy it!
Awesome experience! Very nice host and local art for sale!
A cute, quirky, and tasty stop near the entrance to skyline drive or the Shenandoah Valley. The good is flavorful and varied. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The decor is great and you can buy most of the art work on the wall. The service is friendly and relatively quick.
Absolutely the best brunch in the Shenandoah Valley. Fresh and tasty.
Cute place, with good coffee, home baked cakes, live music on weekends and plenty of things to buy like stones, jewelry, soaps ect. Really nice personnel as well!
We stopped here on a road trip. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff super solicitous. The atmosphere and menu is kid friendly. We highly recommend it.
Delightful! Excellent food from all local farms. Friendly staff. Quaint and cozy. Recommended highly!
Great find off of I-81. Stopped for afternoon snack. Smoothies and apple cider cookies. Yum. Will come back for sure for breakfast or lunch next time down I-81. Loved that they used fresh local food.
Both the food and the service are fantastic. Every time I come through town I make a point of going.
Loved the live music and the food was amazing :-) I've been all over the southwest and I think I liked their tostada better than anything I've had in quite a while! So many layers of flavor and the spiciness was at exactly the right level... a good amount of heat that doesn't overwhelm the rest of the flavor. My wife butternut squash pasta and absolutely loved every bite of it. The live music was also a treat while we ate. We will definitely be back!
Service was excellant and the food was very fresh and delicious!
Amazing food. Good wine and music. The waitstaff is friendly.
Wonderful atmosphere: geodes and jewelry and photography in the cafe area, a cute restaurant area with stage for performances, and art everywhere. Everyone was friendly and the food was incredible (I got the breakfast tostadas and Chai latte). Will definitely return.
My husband & I frequently eat at Christina's & I'm sorry to say that, the last few times we have gone, the service & food has taken a few steps back. We went for brunch today & actually waited for quite some time before being acknowledged by the wait staff. I ordered a cheeseburger mid-well (because their burgers are amazing) only to get it & the center was still cool & hardly cooked at all. I asked that it be taken back to cook longer (even the waitress knew it was not cooked correctly). It was brought back to me less than 5 min later, still on the same soggy, blood soaked bun, no more done than it was before I sent it. I had a wonderful time watching my husband eat his brunch, thankfully he's a gem & shared his breakfast with me. Very, very disappointed! We have friends that went just this past Friday, who actually left 20 kind after getting there because they were never waited on & watched 3 other couples get greeted & served before they left. We try to support small businesses as much as we can but it will be a while before we grace the door step of Christina's Café.
My family really likes Cristina's Cafe. This is like a Mexican/American Cafe. When we are in Strasburg we often go here. Especially for the Sunday Brunch. One of my favorites here is the Roasted Pork on Sour Dough. It's a really good sandwich. Check this place out. You won't regret it. Prices are pretty good too and the staff are very friendly/personable.
Very cute coffee shop that serves good food
The baked goods at this place are crazy, crazy good! The peanut butter and jelly whoopee pie was perfection! Also had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit that was fantastic!
One word. Amazing!
We ate dinner here in the middle of a long drive. Incredible salads, lovely variety, fresh, seasonal and delicious options for anyone. Clean, quick, and delightfully friendly, with excellent quality of food and drinks. Well worth stopping in.
Nice atmosphere with occasional music. Unique and fresh menu options.
Nice atmosphere, super good fresh food and awesome service.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Christian's today.
Great food and great service makes this place a must go to for breakfast/brunch on the weekends! Bottomless high quality coffee is served with cream that cones in tiny little metal pitchers!
Was on the interstate after leaving DC, heading home to Dallas, and needed to find a place for lunch. Saw a sign for Hangouts Grill so we took the exit. Was going to check out their website when I stumbled upon Christina's. Saw the words "funky vibe" and knew we had to go there instead. Atmosphere is fun (we liked the art on the walls), even the bathrooms were cute AND super clean, waitress was great and friendly. I don't eat meat, and try to limit eggs and dairy, so not a lot there with those restrictions. BUT I splurged and got the quiche & salad (both were very good; quiche was so fluffy), husband got the pot roast sandwich and thought it was very good. Glad we chose Christina's - will recommend to friends who make that drive. (4 stars instead of 5 is due to it being a little pricey.)
Great food choices including vegetarian. Great service.
Lunch was delicious!
Delicious food made from scratch. Great staff. Live music. Gluten free options.
Charming location and interior, good food, worth getting off the highway to visit. Next time I hope to have time to explore the many old buildings and shops on the street.
Good food at a good price! They had had an unfortunate series of events when we stopped there so their choices were limited but what we got was good!
Waitress was great. I had 2 eggs over easy, sausage patty, a special wheat toast , milk and coffee. It was ok but nothing special.
Superb food , great kooky atmosphere and went on open mic night and had great free entertainment!
Summarized, it was a completely average dining experience, though within the midst of some stunning natural scenery. I've noticed that scenery can sometimes cause the ratings of nearby establishments to climb without actual reason; thus this place. It was adequate, and likely the best that this area had to offer, but overall very average.
Had the best breakfast! Delicious and fresh!
Awesome food platters and super friendly staff!
Relaxing, simply relaxing, excellent food and service!
Good food. Friendly staff. Probably the best place to eat in Strasburg.
Good Burrito!
Little too hippy for me but good food
Awesome lunch and service! If you get a chance stop by and experience a unique and delicious breakfast or lunch! Excellent!
Visiting from New York and found this Great quaint place with delicious, fresh food and amazing service. If visiting this part of VA definitely come by and try their food!!
Delicious food, yummy desserts, and friendly staff.
Excellent food, cheerful staff and relaxing atmosphere!
A very nice little family run restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients. The pulled pork panini was excellent. It was moist and flavorful with crisp toasted sourdough bread. There are ceramics and paintings hanging from the walls produced by local artists. If your in the area it's worth a visit.
Great Sunday brunch! Delicious food and excellent service from Faith! And, we made it to Dulles on time. See you next trip!
Always awesome. Great fresh food, super friendly staff.
Awesome food
Very delicious and eclectic. We will make an effort to go back when traveling through again.
I came here with my family and it was so nice there is a changing table and quiet couch to nurse on. The food was delicious and the art work is diverse and top notch.
Incredibly well prepared food, great service, awesome live music, and a nice comfortable feel to it. Stop in for a great evening!
Excellent food and service. The empanadas are delicious.
I'm about to drive 4 hours to have that salad again. That would likely be a strong statement even if I were joking. I loved everything about this haven of food!!
Warm, kind staff, great food, and amazing desserts! If you're driving through VA towards or away from DC and points beyond, this is definitely worth stopping for!
Great food and live music
the good - the Atmosphere is very nice and the is service good the bad - the Food is ok, nothing really special but the portions are small and the Prices are high. not really worth it imho
Nice place, great coffee and beer
Service great, food OK, prices reasonable. Sunday night is open Mike night and the people that showed up to perform were very good
Great menu and attention to fresh quality food. Much of the items are grown at restaurant. The outdoor section is great. Also pay with cash and get better price.
Love this place. Always stop on our way to Capon Springs. Best salad I've ever had! Unusual, fresh, delicious food.
Great coffee, nice cozy space. Food was so-so. Gravy on the biscuits was very watery, and the biscuits didn't have much flavor.
Great food atmosphere and help love this place
The menu and the decor are my favorite things about this establishment! The menu is certainly not the norm but is absolutely delicious. This has to be the best restaurant in Strasburg. The only reason it did not meet the 5 start standard is because the waitress was quite forgetful and two out of three beer choices were not available.
Perfect. Good food. Good ambiance.
The sandwiches were fresh and the staff was friendly. The menu is limited but the selections are varied enough that there is something for everyone. Breakfast is also served and looked yummy at our neighboring tables. Just a warning, they have a dessert counter with many options!
Lovely place. Great food, good service, and the open mic night was really pleasant. We will be returning
Great place after a day in the wild. The Dirk Quinn band was an added bonus!
The best latte in town. Very friendly Staff.
This is one of those hidden gems. They have vegan and gluten free options and will do substitutions to accomodate where they can. All of the food is delicious. The baby greens salad was fresh and the dressing was amazing. The night we ate here, Donna's Empanadas were filled with vegetable stir fry...amazing. To accomodate our gluten free eater, they turned Cristina's Cuban Burrito into two soft corn tacos. Sunday evenings are open mic sessions with mostly bluegrass musicians. (pictured - La Canasta Combo)
Great place in a quaint little town. Really good food. Nice comfortable feel to the place.
Always excellent service and delicious food....have never been disappointed....
Nice quiet casual place for lunch. My chicken empanadas were excellent, and the price was at a good spot. Will definitely be a frequent lunch destination for me!
We always make a little detour on our way home from WV to eat dinner here. Great food for a good price, and they always accomodate my gluten free diet.
No Vegan options It felt like a klans meeting when I walked in... So outta place
Stopped in on a whim. Best decision in a long time. Had the Smoked Gouda Pasta and the hubby had Gorgonzola Beef Sandwich. The food was top notch and plentiful. The price was great for the quality and quantity (food drinks and tip for $40) service was really good.
Cristina's is the best restaurant in town
Loved the atmosphere!! Lots of fresh vegan options and the sweet tea was amazing. The staff was extremely assertive and friendly. We are looking forward to going back!!!
Happened upon this place during a South-North road trip. My fiancee and I shared the Hot Mess and got a chai latte and Mexican cafe mocha, respectively. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious!
I've visited Cristina's 4 times over the past 3 years and the cafe has always carried a relaxed, positive vibe. Cristina's has great food (especially the quesadillas and salad), very nice, helpful staff, a solid selection of craft beers, and often, on weekends, a band or solo artist throwing down some tasty tunes. Highly recommend.
I have been here a couple times to grab some chai, but this morning a had a birthday morning breakfast and everything was sooooo good! It's warm and homey feeling, Lori and the ladies are there to greet you with open arms always, and the chocolate coconut cake!? Oh my LORD! So in love
In short: Gorgeous cafe, great food, patry, coffee, craft beer. Vegetarian options. An eclectic collection of local arts and crafts on display and for sale. Live music Friday Saturday and Sunday night. In long: friendly atmosphere where I feel like I'm home and among friends. They go out of their way to accomodate my toddler and are always happy to see him. In the spring and summer their patio is a bloom with unimaginable colors and varieties, many of which are edible and may be served to you on a salad. It's a unique experience every time I go.
Great food
Excelent food and coffee
What a great find! The food was all freshly made and so tasty. The atmosphere was very laid back and cozy. I have already recommend this place to friends that visit the area!
1st time in town open Mike night was awesome the pot roast and Gorgonzola sandwich is a mast very delicious
Good baked goods, locally sourced ingredients in cafe style menu.
FOOD WAS WONDERFUL GOOD GOOD
Small local place. Genuine. Great live music too.
Great Valencia mocha and burrito
Tasty Food nice atmosphere
Cute little restaurant with great vibes! The food was absolutely scrumptious and the service was great! The food did take quite some time to come out, but it seems that they were pretty packed. Would definitely come again and bring some friends and family to join. It was cold and wet that day, so dining outside was not an option. Would love to come on a warm day to dine outside on their adorable patio.
Cute little coffee shop with first food and cold beverages
Great biscuits and gravy
A favorite of mine for many years. Good, healthy food in a comfortable environment. The staff is delightful. Breakfast is my favorite time for a visit.
Excellent food and service. Love the atmosphere and delicious and unique dishes.
We were in Strasburg visiting from Norfolk, VA and found this little gem of a place! The food was excellent, the service was amazing and the outdoor seating was magical. Best mac n' cheese my family has ever had! If you are around town, this place is a must!
They have a great menu, great food, and a kitchie/artistic ambiance. I ate lunch there today with 9 other people in my group and we were served quickly (9 PEOPLE ). Our waiter memorized all 10 orders, with no questions or mix ups. They have music too on certain days. I recommend eating at Christina's anytime you're in the area. They also have a cute coffee and beer bar there.
A great farm to table operation. I personally really appreciate the effort.
Promised local coffee that turned out flat and overroasted. Burrito was okay.
Awesome! I've been in the area for multiple weekends so far this summer and this is my go to place if I want a coffee and a place to hang out and use some wifi. My boyfriend and I also came in for breakfast-- the food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Breakfast serving sizes were just right, which might disappoint some people if you're looking to stuff your face with breakfast food until you feel sick, haha ;) Prices just a bit high but understandable if you consider the fresh, local ingredients that are being used for your meal. My first time in I did make the mistake of buying the most expensive small vanilla latte I've ever had, and since then I'm just been getting a regular coffee when I go in to hang out and pass some time. Love the atmosphere in the place. The staff is very friendly and kind! I'm giving 5 stars because I'm willing to swallow the slightly higher prices to support a small, local business with high quality food.
Great nachos! Crabills meats are great too!
Delicious
Food is interesting and tastee....a little pricey
Excellent cafe. I would definitely recommend to all. The food tastes amazing and the recipes are so unique. We loved the farm to table aspect of this place. Go local! The staff were very accommodating for a large party of 25 people during lunch!
Food was ok. Service rude and non existent.
Went to open mic night. Food was somewhat enjoyable. The nachos were pretty lame, and it costs $2.50 to add little bits of bacon on top. Overpriced much?! I also asked for SOUR CREAM on my burrito but instead I got BLUE CHEESE. Other than that, the place itself it pretty cute, and staff was extremely friendly. I’d probably give this place another shot because they seem to have potential, I just probably got them on a bad night!
FOUR OUT OF FIVE HAD CRISTINA'S QUICHE TODAY! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SERVED WITH A SIDE SALAD. FOR FRIENDLY SERVICE AND AWESOME TASTING FOOD YOU MUST TRY CRISTINAS CAFE!
Always a good place to stop and enjoy or meet up with friends. It was nice and busy on a holiday Monday but food was great and came quick. Coffee is always great too.
