Excellent coffee shop! The owner is so friendly and makes an awesome cup of coffee! They have a bunch of fun specialty flavors to choose from or they also have all you basics! They do coffee, smoothies, ice cream and more! They also have a climbing wall and mini golf! Might have to play a round next time we pass through Beckley!

I know this is what Beckley has to offer regarding a nice coffeehouse, and I know they are trying, but I feel it would be unfair to rate this on a graded scale because of this, especially since I have been to small towns which had a great, sole coffeehouse. First, it bothers me when the "barista" or whatever also has other roles, in this case running the climbing studio and put-put green. So, I had to wait for service, and the coffee was made with no love from the barista. Also, there were no pastries and it was only late morning. The view from the top deck was excellent, though.

Chocolate Moose is an unexpected find! Support local businesses and check it out- the coffee shop rocks- the roast their own beans, chill atmosphere. It's attached to a downhill miniature golf course and indoor outdoor climbing wall... something for everyone! (They have pepperoni rolls and ice cream if your not into the 1st three options)

Great coffee but the smoothie offering isn't quite right. The "100% fruit" Green Harvest smoothie is a mix of ice, water, and store-bought fruit juice, which is not 100% fruit (contains pectin, xantham gun, added flavor and spirulina (algae)). I had one today & then had to stop an extra 2 times on my 4-hour drive home because it made me sick--not clear if the spirulina upset my stomach or it was just bad juice overall. A fruit smoothie made from fruit would be better!

Chocolate Moose Coffee is a real gem! I believe my barista was also the owner, he was immensely knowledgable about coffee and seemed really pleased to take the time to ensure my needs were met. In addition to coffee, they have baked goods, ice cream, wifi, restroom, and a mini golf course in a building behind the coffee shop. I absolutely would go out of my way for another visit.

The barista at the main building could have been a little more social but I know she was concentrating on making our drinks. It's a great little coffee shop with a good atmosphere!

Love this place! Came across it on our first day of a camping road trip through the area. This is a genuine local coffee shop, quirky and fun with a great decor. The owner was so friendly and chatted to us about the area and it's history. They took time and effort over each drink and you can taste the difference.

Purfect coffee shop with great company and tasty drinks. I especially recommend the whipped cream since they make their own. However, there are plenty of vegan offerings including coconut and almond milk. Keto followers will also feel welcome since the coconut and almond milks are unsweetened, bullet proof coffee is an option, and the sugar free syrups are tasty. Bonus rock climbing gym and putt putt attached as well!

This guy JUST opened his shop 4 months ago and he's doing a bang up job!! He is roasting his own beans and is hip to the Chemex brew method. Coffee was good, robust, and fresh. The shop intentionally supports local artists. His art he displayed was very cool. We asked about it and heard a heartwarming story...After seeing some local art at a hardware store he hunted the artist down and found out she wasn't using her gifts. He immediately hired her to do all his art. He then went on to speak about how artist don't get the respect they deserve. In addition he was reading Tim Keller. This alone gets kudos from us!

I was going from Savannah to Pittsburgh with my wife and adult married kids to visit family. A friend recommended stopping here. We loved the relaxing experience, and it's a great driving break. The owner was friendly and fun. It's a converted house, small but comfortable. The gourmet coffees were wonderful, so many choices, we all ordered something different. On the return trip, we stopped again and tried more blends. This is going to be a regular stop, as we drive this route a few times a year, and it's easy on and off the highway.

They make every effort to provide the best possible coffees and selection. There are a few too many "side efforts" that can detract a bit from the ambiance, but in a way it can lend some authenticity to the feeling. They definitely have the best coffee in the area.

Very cute place. All of the workers were very nice. When climbing they were encouraging and understanding to the children and adults. The mini golf course was fun to play and read about each hole. The cafe had some fun choices and prices seemed quite reasonable. I would definetly recommend if in the area.

Fabulous array of choices for coffee and smoothies. Each drink is a crafted work of art so don't be in a rush. Enjoy reading all the fun murals and info boards around the shop...fun artwork and interesting facts!

Girl got 1 out of 4 drinks wrong. She had no help at all and the line was getting long. Good service wish she had someone to help her. It was really hot inside too. I would go back only for drinks not for golf or rock climbing. I feel bad for the people waiting to pay for golf in the line for drinks and food.

Mmm, a full menu of all kinds of coffee and non-coffee drinks. Wow, staff who take the time to speak with you & offer recommendations based on your tastes. Golly, a mini-golf course and ROCK CLIMBING to help you burn off the caffeine! This one's a gem, well worth a detour to Beckley if you're driving through the area.

So good! Best iced mocha I’ve had in a long time. Shop is adorable too! Wish I would have purchased a bag of their coffee beans to take home with me. If Im ever traveling through again I’ll definitely stop here. My only recommendation - get the poor girl behind the counter some help! She handled everything so expertly, but it was busy when I came in and she was having to make like 10 drinks, clean everything after use, run the register, etc. Like I said she did a fabulous job but definitely getting another soul back there to help out would make service quicker (and easier on her!) Loved this place, hopefully I can come back some day!

This place is so cool! I wish we had more time to spend here! It's a great atmosphere where you can hang out, drink your coffee and even play board games. If you have time there's putt putt golf outside and an indoor climbing wall. Aside from these perks the coffee is delicious! My husband got a Dirty Chai with 2 shots of espresso and I got the Bearded Blondie Frappe, both were equally amazing. I highly recommend it!

The Chocolate Moose is very nice. The ice cream is good and very affordable. You can sit down and have you ice cream and drinks inside. They have all the local newspapers that you can sit and read without buying them. They also have an assortment of board games to play. Very nice staff.
