They have very sweet and playful cat! Area is spacious for cats to roam with really awesome cat furniture. Staff is very welcoming and knowledge about their adoptable and in house cats. It is well price to hang out with the cats and include a complimentary drink! What more can you ask for. Highly recommend this place if you are a cat lover. :)

I'm disappointed because I buy the coffee for me and my daughter then I ask to go inside to see the cats she said it was full and that they will go on a two hour break wish I would have known tgat before I bought a coffee I would have went to Starbucks I came for the experience with the cats plus they never say its 13 dollars per person so coffee was 10 so all together u will be paying about 36 for two people for coffee and cats...It will be better if u buy Starbucks and then go to catcity to see kitchen and cats for free and 5 dollars for Starbucks

GO. GO. GO. As a cat lover, I can not recommend this place enough. Not only great coffee/pastries but they take excellent care of the cats and the company works to find these kittens homes quickly. Love the work they do and will come back often!

I really enjoyed my first visit to a cat cafe here! The adorably made "meowca" was SO good-- definitely the quality we'd hoped to find in Seattle coffee. The cat area was well kept, clean, and had plenty of containers, beds, and the tower space for cats to be cats in.

Friendly staff, and not crowded. Appointment only. Loved all the cats, but definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Cats are so independent, so they don't allow you to pick them up. One guy was in the room with me, and a cat approached him and stayed on his lap the entire time. Cute, but make sure each person gets time with the cat(s) and don't 'hog' the cat(s). They are approachable and friendly and some will even come up to you. They provide toys you for to play with the cats. You're allowed one hour with the cats. It goes by so quickly!

The merchandise was the cutest ever. Their hot chocolate was great. I enjoyed meeting the cats, although many of them were standoffish. But, considering they are rescues and there were several people in the cat lounge, this was probably expected.

Cat Cafe - what more should we say? As the proud parent of a toddler feline enthusiast, I am sad that they are open for family days only once a month. Their cats are adorable, the coffee is Herkimer and the pastries are feline themed and shaped. This was a great experience for my toddler and myself. We will definitely be trekking back to this corner of Wallingford every month. Please open family nights for more than just one çaturday a month please.

I took my niece here and she and I had a blast. I am glad they include a drink with the cost of the entrance/play fee. Kids under 8 not allowed in with the cats. Great idea to get cats adopted. Side note: it took FOREVER to find parking.

The coffee and hot chocolate were good however, you cannot bring your own cat. I asked the host and they said it was made very clear on the website that you cannot bring your own cat. After checking the website thoroughly again I found nothing stating this. So be aware of this. The vibe and idea were awesome but disappointing that the website does not say no outside cats. The host was also disappointingly aggressive sounding when I mentioned their website.

We've always made appointments before visiting and have never been disappointed. It seems like there is a limit to the number of people allowed during a visit slot which is very nice so there are enough cats to play with. A lot of their cats are available for adoption so it's a great try-before-you-buy opportunity if you're in the market.

The cat cafe was cute and an interesting experience overall. Honestly, the hot chocolate was too sweet for me. The cat viewing area was maintained well, but the cats weren't that friendly. Cats would try to bite or scratch you if you try to pet them. During half of the visit, an employee fed the cats with a bunch of food dishes and all the cats suddenly came out from the back door to eat. Once they finished eating, they went about their own business. If you want to interact with cats, I would suggest going to an animal shelter where you can interact with cats as long as you like free of charge.

Been here many times. Seattle's only professional cat cafe. All aspects of what a cat cafe should be are taken care of: hygiene, safety, sessions timing, quality of coffee and sweets sold, cat care, merchandise and so forth. Whenever I'm in Seattle, I try to go here if I can.

I love this place. It gets a little crowded during cat visits but the environment is warm and cozy. I love the menu options for allergy restricted visitors. Cats are full spectrum of personality, much like people, but you're sure to find one you'll want to take home. Visit here again and again!

Oh em geeeee I'm in love with this place. The coffee is really cute, great place to catch up with friends and have lovely conversation. You can pay to go inside the glass house and play with the cat (hourly price) or just sit outside and look at them. I will definitely come back again soon.

My wife and kids were dying to visit this place. It is a unique and novel idea - hanging with cats while drinking coffee or in my case, beer. It is a bit pricey for me as I enjoy cats but I personally would have never done this on my own as I can pet two felines all I want for free at my house while drinking all the coffee and beer I want. Nevertheless, my kids and wife loved the place and the servers were super nice and helpful. So if you absolutely love cats I would highly recommend this unique experience.

This was such a cool place. I took tons of pictures because all the babies were so cute and sweet. The coffee is really good but the cats are even better. Definitely worth the money! It also gives these kitties a better chance of getting adopted. If you're even a little bit interested, please go!

The idea of helping people adopt cats while enjoying coffee or a light snack is great. I bought a Breaking Bad Cat themed t-shirt while I was there. It was rolled up and I didn't think unravel it, the decal was torn a bit. I would suggest unraveling it right away to make sure it's all in tact. Otherwise great place to visit.

Cats and coffee, what could be better? This is such a unqiue establishment, and highly commendable, as the cats are rescues looking for homes. They've found homes for over 100 cats. Coffee and cake was great, and the experience of hanging out with cats made it perfect. If you want to check it out, make sure you make a reservation online!

I had a great time there, and it was definitely what I expected based on their website. I went during a 4 PM time slot and about half of the cats were asleep, but even then it was a cool experience, and a very relaxing way to spend an hour. Also, their drinks from the cafe are good!

Really cute cat cafe. The kitties have a really nice play area (complete with castle!) And the coffee is really good. It was $10 to play with the kitties for 50 min and that included a coffee of any size. Awesome place.

What a special place! The coffee is good and the cats are adorable. It's one of my favorite places in the city to bring someone for an out-of-the-ordinary experience! The cats are playful and the staff seem to really know and love the cats they're caring for. Make sure you've made a reservation if you plan on playing with the cats, otherwise it's also fun to sit with a cup and watch the cats play through the observation window. Have fun meow!

I absolutely adore this cat cafe and I think they have a great system going. They take groups of people in 1 hour blocks to sit with the cats, all of which are up for adoption. The cats are free to escape to a back room if they get overwhelmed, and the staff and volunteers put the well-being of the cats first. They serve delightful pastries and sandwiches, and their Italian sodas and coffee drinks are pretty good. Reservations are made online, but if you're feline lucky you can try to walk in.

Im in love! The cafe and the lounge is very quiet and relaxing its super nice to settle down to have adorable food and drinks as well as settling down with a few friendly kitties over at the lounge (beaware some can be moody little guys if you dont know cats behaviors so please respect their space)! I recommend reserving before noon for alittle more active and playful cats. As long as you respect the cats and enjoy there presents, You'll definitely love the experience.

Lovely combination of good coffee (they serve Herkimer, which is one of the city's best roasters) and cute kitties to play with! Take note -- some of the kitties are overwhelmed and need space. Solitary kitties will be grumpy, but a few of the cats love the attention from the room. Don't expect to be crawling with cats when you visit.

One of the best cat coffee I’ve experienced. The cat lounge is big and the cats have plenty of room to run, play, sleep or hide. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We just walked-in and were lucky to have a spot in the cat lounge almost immediately.

Staff responded to all our questions with well thought out answers. Just a really happy place in general. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Cats are great, manager is terrible: I have been here once before several months ago with a friend and had a great time. The staff at the time were great and helpful. So I came here again with a few other friends. The manager John (whom I hadn't seen before) had a several interactions with one of my friends that escalated until I left in tears, my friend trembling and both of us very confused. I would expect a manager to try to find a solution and assume best intent on behalf of the customer during a conflict, but John acted unprofessionally. John did say that he is friends with the owner from college so apparently he wasn't hired on his customer service experience. The rest of the staff seem great but I will not be returning here, and I'm telling my friends to avoid if John is working.

Such a neat place to visit during my recent trip to Seattle. I'm a cat lover and owner but I've never been to a cat cafe. This one was clean and well set up for groups of people to cycle through visiting the kitties, many of whom are up for adoption. There were a wide variety of cute, cuddly, and friendly cats and plenty of toys to play with. Would love to come back another time in the future and would totally recommend for anyone looking to adopt.

This place a serious waste of time. You have to pay $13 per person and you have to go in sessions. Plus there are cats in there that aren’t even people friendly. They are mean and scratch. Yeah they have warning labels and tell you about them before. But for a place that allows children they shouldn’t have potentially dangerous cats. Their drinks taste horrible and there merchandise is way overpriced. Definitely not worth your time. Will not be going back.

I’ve gone twice, and both times the cats have wanted almost nothing thing to do with people, and some are outright antisocial. So the alternative is to sit and observe them while they rest. It’s good to keep in mind that they’re shelter cats, and that most cats don’t starve for attention, but the point of a cat cafe is to interact with them or be entertained by them. If neither activities are available, you’re just wasting your time. You can stare at cats in shelters for free.

Don’t waste your time and money here. The concept is great and I wanted to like this place, but as cat-friendly as this place is their prices and procedures are not customer-friendly. They barely give you any information when you sign up, the confirmation email makes it seem like this is a low-key cat cafe, it is not. They are actually are very strict around age, timing and cat interactions, and are not nice about it. I was running a few minutes late and arrived just as they were entering the cat area, the manager engaged in an altercation with me over my arrival time. Had I known timing would be an issue I would have rescheduled. I would have preferred to get all the information upfront to know what I was getting myself into and what I was paying $13 for. I requested a refund and left.

Adorable cat cafe! I went to their yoga event on a Saturday and it was a perfect place to relax. Very accessible, all-levels appropriate yoga with the bonus of fuzzy friends wandering about. (The cats enjoy laying on the mats so be aware you'll have to modify your moves sometimes to accommodate them.) I was leery of the animal cafe concept at first but these cats have many ways to get away if they aren't feeling social, and most seemed excited to poke around at new people. Plus, I found out many are adoptable! They foster lots of senior cats and the old lady I petted is being adopted next week.

This is the best cat cafe in town!! The staff is so friendly. The cat room is so comfortable to hang out in. They always have a interesting variety of cats, most are up for adoption through the local human society. I highly recommend the painting class, which I believe is one evening a week. They also host yoga with the cats. If you enjoy cats I highly recommend visiting!

I love the cat cafe! I enjoy the variety of activities they host; we have been for the pumpkin carving around Halloween and the wine glass painting for Valentine's day. I really enjoy spending time with the cats while sipping a beverage and feel like my money is well spent whenever I go here, since the proceeds help with caring for the cats and providing them a cool play area - which we are using as inspiration for cat creations at home.

The snacks and coffee are nice and reasonably priced. You have to reserve time with cats (50 minute sessions for 13 bucks with a complementary drink). You can play with them and pet them. What irked me is that people who they let in have no regards for the cats. I saw two grown men petting a sleeping cat and dangling a cat toy in front of her. She woke up for 3 seconds and went back to sleep (if I were in the cats position I would have scratched their eyes out). The fact that these people were allowed to stay in the cat room after this is horrifying. Makes me think these cats are really stressed out. Owners, please enforce strict standards on how to treat cats, they are not dogs and dont play for people's pleasure.

I think it is a pretty good experience for the cats, but not the most exciting for the humans :) small groups are allowed in at a time, but even with a few people in the cat room I was still awkwardly walking around trying to find a cat. The cats move freely between the room and a safe place behind a kitty door, so they aren't forced to be around people. Great for photos, but not quite as fun as I thought it would be - if it were a dog cafe each person would have had 6 dogs hanging out with them ;) Cafe and gift shop are super cute, but there was a line at the coffee shop, and that's also where you check in.

I was really excited to go but there was a stark difference between my expectations and reality. The cats were absolutely exhausted and the majority of them really didn’t want to be bothered from their nap. It seems like this place should really have shorter hours in the interest of the cats. Also people have terrible common sense. I had told a lady that the asleep cat she was about to pet had just latched out at someone else and it just wanted to sleep but she abruptly tried to pet this sleeping cat regardless which made the cat angry and bite her. The lady had the audacity to say “oh it’s just a love bite” which made me speechless at her stupidity. I understand that many of these cats are rescues and may still be in the process of getting back to better health but I wasn’t impressed by the current state of many of their health either. Most of them were quite over weight and one had really bad matting (some had been shaved but other areas were left matted which didn’t make much sense). Overall the experience just made me sad at the stupidity of the guests and what the cats have to tolerate. Definitely not what I expected.

The best cat cafe I’ve ever been too! Drinks are adorable (make sure you get something with steamed milk if you want a cute cat on top). The cat castle is most impressive and the cats all seems happy and well cared for. They also offer painting and yoga classes.

The reason I love this place is that they don't just have kittens or 'cute' cats. They had a grumpy one. Her collar is the indication of her attitude so you have some warning. I sat by her the whole time. She just sat on a pillow, she came to sniff me, but as a self-proclaimed cat lady, I know better than to chase cats around or shower them in attention if they don't want it. She sat down next to me and we enjoyed my coffee in peace. Some girls came and started slapping her with a toy and naturally she got snippy and snapped at them, they were shocked and looked at me, cause I'd been sitting by her the whole time. We get each other. If I lived here, I would've taken her home. Cats like this need homes too. Just like people. You just need to find the right person - and it's fantastic they give her a home in the meantime, or for always (I hope). I bet after a while she'd be affectionate. She warmed up to me in our short time together. The coffee was cute (and good actually), they have cute items for sale. Everyone was pretty respectful of the cats, they have a lot of places to get away from people, up high and even separate rooms. There were several employees, which is good for keeping an eye on the humans. They didn't explain much, I wish they'd briefed everyone on the door lock (ONLY ONE DOOR CAN BE OPEN. come in, close the door, open the next door - it stops escapees) and the collar situation, there's signs but everyone was pretty excited and I'm sure no one read it.

Make sure to read the whole website before you visit! Mondays the cafè is open serving up delicious treats but if you want to see cats, come another day. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the cat lounge, but every once in a while they have specific times where additional staff are on and younger children are allowed in and these dates are visible on the website. The coffee is AMAZING, if you're a fan of Herkimer (as you should be) you're in for a treat. Make sure to make a reservation online ahead of time. Every reservation includes a drink and 50 minutes in the cat lounge (if you're on time). Basically, read the website before you visit and you should have a blast!

Such a fun place to visit! The cats aren’t always the friendliest, especially around nap time or if they’ve been around people all day, which is something to keep in mind, but they can come and go as they please, so it’s not much of an issue. The cafe is also nice & has delicious pastries

Great coffee, I had a chai latte and my husband had an americano with steamed coconut milk. He's a coffee connoisseur and noticed the quality at first sip! They do cat themed foam art, have cat themed gifts in their shop, and you can hang out with the cats while you enjoy your drink in the cat room! King and Squid were our favorites, they're Meowtropolitan residents. We went kind of late, form 7 - 8pm so most of the cats were sleeping but those two were pretty entertaining. Staff is knowledgable about their cats, and very friendly!

I love everything about this place! Things to know going in: 1. Read all of the rules. 2. Respect the cats (and the rules). 3. It's a relaxing time to watch cute cats, kind of like a petting zoo and a library together. The petting is on the cats terms. You shouldn't be going in thinking you'll snuggle a bunch of cats or that they all want to play with you.

The lattes were so tasty as well as a macaron. It’s cat themed down to the signatures in your milk froth. But that’s far from the best part. They foster cats that you can schedule an hour at a time to play with cats while enjoying coffee. Some are adoptable and since opening, they’ve helped hundreds of cats find forever homes. The Cat yoga is so much fun! Afterward, we actually did the cat cafe and spent time playing and interacting with the cats. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the cats are all adorable.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I think that it's a really great way to help cats find their forever home and the cats that are there are very well taken care of. They truly put the happiness and health of the furry residents first. However, the coffee and baked goods are very subpar. It has the potential to be 5 stars across the board but management needs to reevaluate their menu and brewing/baking processes.

Great shop! It's such a good model, helping the cats get adopted and serving great drinks. I dont like hot drinks so I usually get the Italian soda, they're GREAT. The pastries are a little lackluster. I really disliked the cheesecake, and the cookies are just so so. But the staff are so nice and it's a great way to spend an hour. Make sure you get a punch card!

We attended a yoga class here that was a lot of fun. Kitties lounging all over, sometimes coming onto the mats and plopping down, adding a bit of fun and challenge to the practice. Nice cats! I went for 2 sessions 4pm and 5pm, and the cats were super sleepy. I heard that going in the morning is better since that cats aren't taking siestas.

Such a delightful experience. The cats are just lovely and one of them will sit in your lap if you let him. My only complaint is the check in process. I couldnt find parking so I called to get recommendations and no one answered any of my calls. Once we got in there was one girl taking orders and registering people and it took a bit of time and ate into our kitty time. Other than that I think it's worth checking out.
