This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
Located in a very cool building. They have a kids room and also private rooms that can be booked. On the negative side their food options are very poor.
Awesome, awesome, and awesome. The feel of this place is glorious, I could have spent all day there! Built in an old bus or train station it's quite lovely, and the staff is super nice and helpful!
I don't drink coffee but this coffee shop is must visit. Used to be a train station back then ( I believe in 1889) and now a cool original design of old American interior. I had homemade pistachio gelato and coconut. It was sooooo good. PS. You can see the train pass the building of you spend enough time there PSS. They ask you to flush twice of the toilet but you have to check it out why ;)
A great place to come and study, etc. Super cute renovated train depot and has the most room of any coffee shop in town! The coffee is good. Adriana, my fave barista, always takes care of me!
Cool location. Good coffee.
North Town has a wonderful setting that makes it wonderful to meet up with friends, study, relax, etc... all while enjoying a great drink. The staff is great, and there are many tables and chairs to choose from in the spacious facility. A great variety of drinks decently priced. A definite must go to if you are exploring downtown Yakima! So nostalgic!
Great place to relax, meet people and drink good coffee. Go there a lot and will continue. This place is a great spot for Yakima.
we love this coffee place. it's a great hang out space and an awesome place to go a study until late in the night.
Great old building with lots of character. The coffee shop atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing. The new kids room is a great feature. They serve Stumptown coffee, which is a favorite of ours. They have tasty hot chocolate. Whenever we stop in Yakima it's on our list to visit.
Great coffee and the barista was friendly!
My favorite coffee shop in town! it has a very historic vibe, as it's the old Yakima train station
Amazing! Was in town for a skills USA state competition, as the only lady of the group I forcefully made a group of young men enter this beautiful coffee house. I can honestly say both the guys and me found the service, coffee and atmosphere wonderful! I was quite pleased with this especially since they thought I was taking them to a Starbucks (ew)
Nice place to get a cup and relax or meet a friend.
Such a great place for a comfortable coffee break. Good pastries too.
Decent service. A quirky building. Coffee is okay. Food offerings are kind of a joke. Beware breakfast sandwiches don't come with a plate and will get grease all over.
Great coffee and quick service.
Love the coffee the atmosphere the building pretty much everything about it here and open mic 8-10pm Sunday's is the best there...
I like the chai latte tea there amazing place to study and very good mic sessions on sunday as well the staff is amazing positive and respectful towards you will be coming here alot.
Wow! This is a GEM! Such a hip coffee house in the old train station. The side rooms are available for special use. It’s always fun to be there, the music is great and the staff is pretty friendly, too. It is almost always filled with students, gamers, wedding parties and casual visitors. Sunday night is open mic and there are very few seats available, so get there early. There are talented performers, so you won’t be disappointed. I love this place.
Great space. Great vibe. A variety of comfy seating with plenty of elec. outlets. WiFi.
Great coffee selection! Typically brew Stumptown (a Portland coffee company) which is one of my favorites. Very small parking lot but street parking is also available. So many seating options to choose from: small/larger tables, high tops, couches, etc. all with outlet access around the perimeter of the room. WiFi available with purchase (code on receipt). You can also place your order online.
During quiet times you can still hear the ghostly conversations of the servicemen and women from WWII. They were shipping off to points globally to defend our freedom. For many it was the last they ever saw of Yakima.
A really nice place to relax and enjoy what is truly the best latte in Yakima.
Great coffee and friendly staff cool vintage vibe
Love the train station feel. Local business. Great atmosphere. Decent food and coffee. Recommended.
Perfect stop for a road trip! Healthy snacks available, bathrooms with changing table, kids play room! And excellent coffee.
Usually I love this place and my barista is always friendly but tonight they had someone I had never seen before chomping gum rolling her eyes as we order and take forever to the point we just cancelled our order because we felt like we were inconveniencing her. I hope this isn’t a sign of how it’ll be from now on :/
Very enjoyable
Nice place. Nice
In the bathroom only one stall was useable, others were clogged, out of hazel nut I get it it happens but how does a coffee shop run out of their supplies? Anyway menu has pretty basic coffee options, staff was pretty bland, ended up getting a different drink from what I ordered but at that point I was too irritated with that place i wanted to get out of there, and yes my coffee taste horrible.
This is a wonderful place. We go here everytime we are in yakima. Love the historic building.
Been going to North Town Coffeehouse for many years. Love the comfortable feeling I have while I'm there. The coffee is great.
Such a warm open and welcoming space, coffee and gelato was great as well.
Every time I've been to this place the Batista's are moody, slow, and have some of the worst customer service skills I've ever encountered. Would be a higher rating because the atmosphere is good, but can't look past the very poor service.
Absolutely welcoming and very nice place to meet up. If you're heading out for a short breakfast or a meet up, I suggest here. :D
Neat coffee shop with lots of room to study or visit. In door seating includes small and large tables as well as small groups of easy chairs and couches. Out door seating has shade and misters. Gelato and some small selection of food items are on the menu as well as the usual coffee, tea etc. They also have cold brew coffee on tap. The building is an amazing historic well preserved train station.
Cool atmosphere to get some coffee or tea. The historic building adds to the experience. I would recommend to anyone looking to study, or just to catch up with a friend.
Good coffee and Ice Cream. Kind of a bummer most drinks are served in to go cups with straws(cold drinks). Please try to cut down on plastic waste!
What a charming little coffee house in Yakima! The atmosphere of an old train station turned into a coffee shop is so much fun. They have a good chai, and the gelato flavors are also good! This is a great place for meetings because there's a lot of space and it's not too loud.
Beautiful historic place. I love the small touches with in the small furnitures. People leave positive and encouragement notes to each other. Beautiful
I love the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone is so calming and I get exactly what I want, which is difficult for other coffee shops
Good coffee good prices comfortable
Cool historic location. The coffee is really good as well.
Lots of meetings here
Great building, great coffee!
Beautiful historic building. Very happy fun baristas!
I had a good coffee there. Cozy and comfortable. It was a little time. Sure, if I did not work, I would stay there more.
Sweet coffeehouse, cool vibes, and some stinking good coffee! Check it out!
Top shelf products and services. Old train station with a fun atmosphere, close to downtown Yakima. Love taste of the house coffee.
A great concept, and much needed in Yakima! What turns me off is the lack of cleanliness. Walls next to tables are dirty, floor is dirty, and the upholstered chairs are so soiled, I won't even think about sitting on them. Staff is friendly and coffee is good.
My service-experience there was great, as was their selection of coffee & pastries; wonderful, serene study environment as well.
I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but this is a cool spot! Located in an old train station, this is one of the best places in town to meet and get a drink. Fortunately, they have lots of great non-coffee drinks! On this particular trip, I opted for the soda stream soda. They had a bunch of different flavors. Others in my group got coffee drinks and were all very happy. North Town Coffeehouse is a great place. There are a ton of tables and comfy chairs that you can sit at! Groups of all sizes can find a comfortable setting here!
Great place! The coffee is well made with attention. The kids room is a total bonus! I am just visiting Yakima and only wish this were near my hometown!
Beautiful setting. Perfect for families with kids playroom. Oh and great coffee!
Very interesting space. I think it's an old train station. People play chess on Sunday morning. Pastries were kind of bad (1-2 stars). Coffee was good (4 stars). Might be the best coffee in Yakima.
Love the whole atmosphere and the coffee is good.
Thank you for having court weddings there.
Normally I am a fan of North Town, they have been a wonderful asset to the community... and now I have a 6 month old baby... We went on a family outing, planning to hang out in the kids room (dad get some work done on the computer while baby and i play). If she were crawling already I would have left in an instant - it was filthy, way worse than a McDonald’s play place! The floor was a gross looking carpet with an area covered by foam mats that probably look awesome when clean, but looked as though they had never been cleaned. I spent 30 min on my hands and knees scrubbing 4 square sections to make a suitable place for a child to sit (thankfully she just sits at the moment). The toys were great, but also filthy. It was a germ cesspool. I get that kid areas are usually a little icky, but this was obviously an uncared for place. We left after I finished scrubbing my 4th square foam tile. North Town, please give a little love to your kids area! It’s a great idea but you’ve got to use materials that can be clean, and you need to do regular cleaning. We probably won’t return as a family until baby is old enough to play elsewhere.
Very good coffee great place to relax
Lots of people here usually talking, so not ideal for a quiet place if that's what you're looking for, but a nice place to catch up with friends for a while
To whom thee elderly man is, (& I actually just found out that you are the rightful of this building, I guess), just because you don't know who I am and/or what I do does not mean that you can profile me stereotypically and misjudge the fact that I was working w/ Russillos. Instead, you pointed me out to be either one of the person(s), who has been using your restrooms for drug deals or to use drugs myself, and/or also to deface the property. The prejudiced outcome of this, to me was the classism, and just because my look isn't up to your standards or to the building "dress code", doesn't mean that you get to racially profile me. With that being said, hope the best for you and your employee(s). God Bless.
I love the rustic look. The coffee shop is set up in an old train station. The people are great. And the environment is great for group meet ups and studying.
The barista was friendly and helpful. I got coffee and gelato, both delicious! The building has nicely been redone into a bunch of rooms and offices, some you can rent. They have a really cool kids room that I would totally take advantage of if I had littles. They also had a nice combination of comfortable chairs, tables for studying, and outdoor seating. So cute and will definitely stop by again.
Nice place to get a coffee and talk is open until late and is highly recommend for students to hang out
Locally owned and GREAT place to do homework and hang out. They have pastries and 100% better coffee than Starbucks!! It's in Yakima's Historic District and lovely place to sit with friends!
Love this place for meetings, relaxing, internet.
Comfortable place!
Great historic building! Coffee was great too!
A great place for coffee and to visit
Great place!
Decent coffee cool location, three stars based on that alone. However I had to order something I didn't want and yet still paid full price. I've been to places that offer something else at the price of what you wanted. Not offer something else and have you pay full price.
Love this place.... very family-oriented fun, every Sunday night open mic night and these kids playing instruments and singing have out-of-this-world talent. Very much a pleasurable thing to attend and very much a great coffee shop
Customer service is amazing... Coffee is great. Vibe and decor is very nice... Highly recommend
Love it, chill vibes for hanging it it getting work done over a killer cup.
Great atmosphere, lots of seating, and excellent coffee a bit hard to find. Better signage would help.
nice place for. Coffee
The staff here is so great!
dont tip the owner keeps all tips
Nice place to grab coffee and get some work done. The building itself was fascinating as it seemed to be an old train station.
What a terrific find. Wonderful ambience, great coffee and service. I'm here for a week and am sure I'll be back every day.
My favorite Yakima coffeehouse! Great place to have informal meetings.
Great little shop in the old train depot. The coffee is delicious and the setting is super fun.
I remember in the mid-1940's taking the train from Tacoma's Union Station over the mountains to Yakima with my mom to visit her dad, and siblings. I was so pleased when I moved to Yakima three years ago to find that the old station was still being used. The coffee shop is nice, staff friendly, prices about average. Let's keep this historic building going. Drop by and have a cappuccino, plain old coffee or whatever. When you do, let your mind wander and imagine it bustling with military and USO folks. Some even say the place is haunted. And don't forget during warm weather to meet up here with Ellen Allmendinger for a historical tour of downtown Yakima. Fun!
Really good coffee, great Mocha, and friendly service. One of my favorite coffee shops.
Uptown place, lots of happenings. A great meeting place...
Carefully where you park! This thing will tear some sh!+ up!
I have only purchased coffee once at this place. It was in the evening and they didn't have drip coffee, so I had to have an Americona. I'm not sure if they serve drip coffee or not. The service was lackluster, but prompt. It is very popular and many people study or work in it's warm, comfortable atmosphere, and they have free WiFi.
Historic and comfortable venue. Great products and service
Great place for a coffee and bite to eat
Can't wait to go back!!!
Great coffee Cool atmosphere
Good place
This was a great coffee shop. The coffee was good. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendation. The space was fun and comfortable, a converted train depot. Strong wifi signal and I was able to get some work done. Pretty good place if you want coffee or tea, need an internwr connection to get some work done, and are in Yakima, WA.
Cool hang out..hip and social. Great atmosphere. I recommend for study groups. First dates.. And after lunch or dinner conversation stop before your night ends.
Good coffee
Awesome environment great coffee n free wifi
Great little cappuccino. Cool atmosphere.
Been frequenting Northtown for several years. Great place, good service.
Great place for coffee.
Good coffee.
A great coffee shop with plenty of study/meeting spaces. It has a nice atmosphere.
I loved this place! I'm in yakima for a conference. This is a place I stumbled across. It was comfy and quiet. Coffee was good to
This was my first time here n I was so amazed at how well this building was preserved, beautiful!! The gal who served us our coffee was very nice n courtious
Good service , excellent coffee and other beverages . Filthy windows lack of pride in ones establishment I guess. The place is in a dirty area but they manage to keep the place sanitized, clean and very comfortable ... But people don't see that when your view to the inside as well as out side into inside is cloudy and distorted . But hey it's a great place to study relax or to get that quick daily fix . Please clean you windows . And not your self it looks like you've trying and only making it worse .... Thanks
Great place to read, eat lunch, and/or grab a chai tea latte.
Coffee is flammeeee!!
Super cool location. This awesome coffee shop is located in the oldest building in the valley. The coffee is good, the staff's nice, and it's a great place to study. It's conveniently open until midnight, and is populated with lots of people studying or quietly gathered in groups. It's the perfect place to hangout and read.
Always great coffee and staff.
Gelato is good, but the coffee drinks are always wrong in at least one way (wrong milk or flavor, etc) and everything is very overpriced. They have a good reward system and friendly staff.
My fave- always leave here happy! Love the cold brewed coffee & their pistachio gelato is beyond dreamy.
Nice place. Quite. Good music. Nice people. And good cup of coffee. ☺
I don't get why everyone says the coffee is good... the building and atmosphere is cool but every coffee I've gotten from here has been undrinkable
Love this place! Also love that it’s open until midnight.
It's warm and cozy
So beautiful place
Great study spot
Great atmosphere coffee wasn't bad pad worse
The coffee is a little pricey, but makes up for it with deliciousness. This is a great place to study, sit and read, or catch up with friends over a cup. I love a place with history, and this old train station delivers
Nice place to meet up and hang out.
Really nice atmosphere, beverages were awesome, and really decently priced
Great chill spot, and great coffee
Friendly and helpful staff, great drinks
The coffee was good, staff was friendly, a lot of space to work individually or meet up with a larger group of friends & the WiFi was fast. Cute and nice place all around.
Great hangout. Old train station feel with lots of old world details. Not much (real) food selection. Ice cream!. Can get a little loud when busy. Common study place. Board game groups on certain nights. Might run into someone you know.
Gorgeous and unique coffee shop. The coffee was pretty great too.
So, I love that you can hang out here for as long as you like while you have lunch and coffee but the furniture is old and the bathrooms are usually really dirty. This place has so much potential but they need to step it up a bit in style and cleanliness.
Coffee is great atmosphere is calm.and relaxing great place to drink some coffee and relax
Great green ice tea. Relaxing place to be
Best place in town to relax, study, and enjoy some great coffee. Friendly staff.
The girls are wonderful, Britton is a sweetheart, they will bring you your order to your table if it’s not too packed. I love coming here to do work. It’s a very peaceful place. Students love it here. Friendly place!!
Customer service top rate, good coffee, delish generous gelato servings ( chocolate and coconut!). Highly recommend: comfortable setting, beautiful historic building. All good!
Very cool atmosphere. This is definitely one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been to. Its a cool experience. It was a chill, calm place when I was there. The perfect place to get some work done. It's one of the most expensive coffee shops I've ever been to though, and they have a pretty limited menu, from my experience.
Went there with my sister while visiting her in yakima. Cute little coffee shop. They have a kids room... it is a little questionable. The bathrooms were not so great either, but the drinks are nice and it looks like a fun trendy place.
Very nice place to chill
Favorite place to go and study (: peaceful & fun environment
Coffeeeeeeee n wi fi. Mmmmmm
JJ--I bring my card just to see it spin :)
Awesome place. Good to see and meet the locals .
A favorite hangout for young and old. Great ambiance in this repurposed train station. They have several rooms that can be rented for meetings at reasonable prices. I should also mention that their coffee and tea selection is excellent!
Fast service, and wwaayyy better than any Starbucks
Great environment and coffee!
Love it! Beautiful old train station and great coffee to boot!
I love coming here to meet with people or study
Delicious coffee. Enjoy the old building décor and location.
Nice, quiet, chill place to drink since coffee and have a meeting with friends. Very helpful and polite employees. GREAT COFFEE!
Absolutely adorable location! So bummed I couldn't stay longer! I'm traveling a lot + would have loved to settle in here for a few hours of work! Great setting + friendly staff + delicious muffins.
Great coffe and Danish, just what you need to start your day.
We got married here my wife and I.
