REVIEWS OF La Marzocco Cafe IN Washington

Campbell Hawk

One of my favorite coffee shops to work from in Seattle. They change out the coffee roaster I believe every month, so it stays interesting. Music is a little loud, but it's a part of the KEXP radio station so it's great music and makes sense. If you have a call you need to take, make sure to have a good mic and headphones or step outside

Laura M

Awesome place! I had a great tea here. Radio station inside. I wish they could do drinks with almond milk. Thanks, lovely place.

Jeff Douglass

Great open floor plan. Wonderful coffee. Lively atmosphere. A top spot in Seattle to get amazing coffee and hang out. They rotate thru different roasters on a monthly basis, so there is always something new to check out (and taste!) when you visit.

Gregory Ramsey

Great coffee shop. Love the coffee rotation, the Marzocco brand, and that #KEXP is part of the building.

Ian Bullock

Cortado was exceptional. Hard to beat the atmosphere if you're a music fan.

Hannah Yang

Beautiful artistic space, great vibe, delicious artisan coffee. One of my favorite places to work from.

Bobby Boulter

Best coffee cafe I've ever been to. La Marzocco coffee bar set within a facility that also has a vinyl record shop and LIVE Radio. WTF.

Elbert Perez

Really awesome cafe by the KEXP radio station. They always have some innovative pastry or coffee here

Sebastian Espinas

Great place to try out coffee machines and figure out which La Marzocco to follow you home. Also a great cafe to hangout at and gets pretty packed during weekend

Kyle Fuhrmann

This is seriously one of my favorite places in Seattle. The vibe is amazing with fantastic coffee that changes regularly, superb music from the attached KEXP, and a little vinyl shop right inside. Also some super comfortable couches to chill on. My day is brightened every time I visit. For some dangerous reason there's also a Molly Moon's ice cream vending machine..

Sarah Keum

Ok, 4 stars for the ambience and space. It's connected to KEXP and it's a really cool place. But $6+ for a 12oz latte.......... Seattle this AIN'T IT

Dismas Smith

My favorite place to get coffee in the city outside of my own kitchen. A new coffee roaster in residence every month from the U.S. and around the world.

Karl I

Nice relaxing spot to get coffee and listen to music. Plenty of seats around and occasionally will have live music there at KEXP in the same building.

Hayley McDonald

Great coffee place for locals and visitors.

Uday Mittal

They have a rotating menu of coffee and sometimes you end up finding extra ordinary coffee. Love the ambience with a live radio show in the background. My go to place when I want good coffee and no experiments

Marisa Kristine

A must see if you are into coffee culture. The space has a la marzocco showroom, a coffee bar, live music, and interesting art and photography on the walls. You can test out the espresso machines before you buy one.

Lucas Gallup

Excellent atmosphere and even better menu, absolutely recommend to anyone

Ana Rodriguez

Had the gold milk tea. Soooo good. No place to sit. It was busy place. Nice informative people. Nice place. Great atmosphere.

Anastasya Hong

My all time fav coffee place! You get all different taste of coffee every month!

Mike Frisch

Grab a coffee and/or a snack and listen to KEXP playing in the gathering space.

fiona karran

Had the cloud forest mocha and my fiance had the matcha latte. Both were delicious, lovely space inside as well.

عبدالعزيز البرتاوي

Espresso is gorgeous.

lucrecia e. choto

What a lovely space shared with a radio station, art exhibit space, and independent vinyl kiosk! The special drinks were interesting and the cookies went perfectly! If you're ant experience something that is organic and interesting step inside and relax.

Snehal Annapure

Spiced chai was too good. Loved the decor

Raphael Pigulla

Never been to a coffee place quite like this, definitely unique. Very spacious and different and with great coffee. Check it out if you get the chance!

alex seidman

Excellent coffee, if not a bit overpriced though. Baristas could be friendlier.

Peda Ristic

Great coffee and vibe. It is a little noisy at times when they have performers. The millionaires machiatto is not worth it...tastes like a metallic machiatto for $10.

Minami

Good atmosphere & good coffee

I'okua Torres Pagan

Water. Coffee Good too . . La Marzocco Café carries. What YOU NeeD !

Yuri Yulaev

This is my fourth trip to this cafe. Twice my order has not been delivered as requested... there's some kind of miscommunication between the cashier and the guys who actually make for coffee....

aditya somayaji

Awesome place. Great coffee and you can even try to pull your own espresso shot. Connected with a radio station an record store

Babak Vahdati

I always order americano coffee and I really like their americano!

Min Shin

This is definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Seattle. I had a fantastic latte enjoying a lovely space full of contemporary exhibitions and cool vibes.

Angela Leung

Great selection of coffee collective beans with pour over. Nice ambience.

F Witt

The space is lovely, but in the time this cafe has been open its become so trendy that the line is typically long, and seats are scarce. Pretty pricey, too. Used to be a neighborhood place, but not anymore. Caters to tourists and out of town folks.

Matthew Royal

Espresso that's rich and flavorful but not astringent or puckeringly acidic, pour-overs that satisfy, and flaky baked goods delivered fresh daily from Heaven. Plus, all the reggae you can stand in KEXP's comfy chillout room.

Bop Westerduin

Best coffee/espresso in town, great atmosphere in the KEXP building with good music and the smell of freshly ground coffee beans. Lots of students and entrepreneurs sitting around giving the place a very positive vibe. 10/10 would recommend

J

Open, large space with lots of seating and great music playing from the radio station which is in the same space. I loved the pour over coffee I had and the staff was very friendly. This was my favorite coffee shop I visited during my trip to seattle.

Saikiran Mullaguri

Loved Latte here. Good place to relax, drink coffee and work on a weekend

Anne Abbott-Gee, NBCT

If not the best, the cappuccino made for me here is certainly in the top three for quality and craftsmanship. The employees are easy to talk to, and they know their craft. Plus, the space is incredible, like nothing I've seen. The ceilings are probably 30-feet; the radio station shares the building, so there's a vinyl showroom and store; the seating areas are inviting; there's lots of space between the couches and tables; and the bathrooms are clean. My daughter and I had been wandering the neighborhood for awhile when we happened upon this place, and it was the perfect summer day respite we didn't even know we'd been searching for. **Rest warning: while this is a relaxing spot, don't close your eyes. My daughter had closed her eyes for a couple minutes, and her head was resting on my shoulder as I sipped my drink when a manager leaned over in front of us and told us that wasn't allowed. Odd, but they must have had a bad experience that made them hypersensitive.

Rebecca Fishbune Knutson

Fantastic espresso. Great ambiance.

Astha Garg

Absolutely must try.. I tried one of the cold brews coffee with haw, it was just amazing! And it's a huge place where you can work and spend hours sipping your coffee.

Arthur Nen

Huge open space to grab some coffee and check out some of the La Marzocco legacy. There's a space for checking out their home espresso machines, as well as some cool coffee gadgets you can buy. The coffee is very good, and they rotate between their partner roasters so you can taste different beans with every visit! The food selection is a bit underwhelming, serving only a small selection of pastries. I would recommend this place for coffee and looking at some cool espresso machines, but I would say skip it if you're in the mood for breakfast.

Sheen Hunter

I think that the persons are really fair with like $4 cup for coffee and it has art and the Space is really unique because the radio station has Windows you can see what's going on and all the staff is there and it seems like a good place to meet people professionally or personally.

tony potts

Great customer service. They are friendly and very neat. Thanks for taking good care of me.

Sergei Kutrovski

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful lighting. Amazing showroom. Live radio. La Marzocco is always featuring a tasty coffee that won’t disappoint. It’s a mandatory visit while in Seattle.

Alex Montez

This place is astonishing. One of the best coffee experiences I’ve ever had.

Andrew Bassett

Love LM, love KEXP, love their collaborative cafe space. Truly an honour to see it with my own eyes after reading so much about it for a few years. This place is the creme de la creme of cafes.

Marcell H.

Their Matcha Latte is Amazing.

Peter White

Decent coffee but limited range of food items.

Krystal Dressler

My only complaint is that they need to serve decaf for the faint of heart. Everything else is amazing! Always choose to stop by when I’m in the area.

Timothy Pendarvis

Fantastic space! and Great coffee

John Stephenson

Always good coffee & tunes, regardless of time or visiting roaster. Have enjoyed this place for everything from interviews to heads-down work to sharing with friends & family. Highly recommend and fun to see all the home espresso machines too!

Christian Craig

you may be 6 century old but boy you still got it you got the heart of a lion great coffee you should come by fairway coffee sometime and try out some of are coffee

Leon Billingsley

The coffee changes every month so if you don't like your first cup, be sure to come back. However, if you love it, better make sure you visit a lot that month! La Marzocco owns the high end coffee machines, but sources the coffee from around the world and hires local folks as baristas.

Keith Cote

This coffee shop must be checked out by anyone visiting Seattle Center, especially music lovers. The coffee shop is actually by the makers of the iconic Italian espresso machines you see in like literally every other coffee shop. Each month or so they feature a new roaster with the usual offerings including pour overs and some creative coffee concoctions as well. But what especially makes this place stand out is that it shares a facility with KEXP with the sitting area right at the window of the DJ booth. Don't forget to also check out light in the attic records.

Martha Serrato

Definitely worth the search for this place! Had a great relaxed vibe. Perfect for a Sunday morning cappuccino.

Corry Lee

One of Seattle's absolute best coffee shops! Skilled, knowledgeable baristas and a great rotation of excellent roasters.

David S

Terika is awesome.

Jessica Garza

Great place to chill, get great coffee, and listen to good music.

Alex Heaton

I like that the place is very spacious

Aubrey S

really cool space, good coffee, molly moon ice cream vending machine, and good music! Plus, sparkling water on tap!

Maddy Upchurch

Great coffee! We tried it when Elixr was in the building. I got an iced latte! Normally I’m a very sweet coffee drinker, but this latte was authentic and a perfect balance!

Leah Chang

Amazing coffee in a great space. Love the rotating coffee shops with changing menus.

Michael

La Marzocco Cafe is my favorite. Best coffee and atmosphere in the city.

Nicholas Gangloff

Classic coffee shop with a great interior and open space. Very relaxing and friendly service. They are even more expensive than Starbucks though, so don’t expect any form of a bargain coffee here. Otherwise, still a definite place to checkout if you like sampling various coffee cafes.

Julie Holetz

Delicious coffee, beautiful views, and great music. Fun to be here on Intl Women's Day.

K Luoma

Great changing list of coffees and relaxed environment to hang out

Michael McCrory

Pretty cool, guest coffees and menu's.

Skip

The donuts are from Mighty-O but the mocha was all La Marzocco. Love the gathering space at KEXP.

Sean Hunter

Love this place! Great space, and love the rotating coffee roaster residency concept. Must visit if you are in this area of Seattle and love coffee.

Chris McQuillan

Incredible coffee drinks and within the best radio station ever. @KEXP

Fausto Betances

Great coffee place for locals and visitors. Wide open, large floor. And what is most unique, right in front of KEXP studio.

Joshua Lieuallen

If you only have time for one coffee shop in Seattle, it doesn’t get much better than this. I am blown away every time by these guys. Each time I’ve been, there’s a good sized line, but I always have my coffee less than 5 minutes after ordering. But it’s also obvious that these pros don’t sacrifice quality for speed: I’ve always gotten a quality cup and friendly service here. They share a space with a small record shop, and KEXP (a local radio station). Occasionally, there are recorded live music sessions in the main space, but I haven’t seen one there yet myself. There’s an assortment of espresso machines sold here that are great for use at home, and they rotate their coffee roaster regularly, so you can even expect roasts from companies around the world!

Denise Turnbull

The best coffee in Seattle

Vida barjesteh

The best cafe I have ever been at. Try their Affogato

Rohit Ahuja

Good place to hangout

Caitlin Brenner

Coffee here is hard to beat, great atmosphere for studying and great selection of pastries. Both the Tuscan sunrise (esspreso, clove, black tea, orange, and milk) and the mendoza (espresso, ginger beer, hibiscus, lime) are very good :)

Susan Zurek

This place is a great place to enjoy delicious coffee and listen to KEXP. If you haven't been, you should really check it out.

S Di

Either if you're visiting (or live in Seattle) this is one of those places that is a must visit. This is La Marzocco's flagship store. Every month they cycle through different roasters from across the world. They showcase, and allow you to try out, all of their high end espresso machines and grinders. Baristas on staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Since it's connected to the KEXP gathering space you have an enormous area to sit and relax while enjoying your beverage of choice.

Mohammad AlSaeed

Seattle's best coffee

John Grubbs

I love this place. It's just people chilling out listening to good stuff. Cool you can see them live and the stage..

Mark Shelby

Fantastic coffee, they highlight a different country each month. Wonderful relaxing spaces, couches, lounge chairs or if you want to work, tables etc. partnered with KXEP radio. Also, they highlight new music talent. This was what we expected the coffee shops in Seattle to be like.

Matthew Chism

Premier coffee experience in the coolest setting imaginable. Rotating coffee supplier allows you to sample the best in 4th wave espresso, with tasty pastries to boot. Take time to soak in all yhe KEXP gathering space has to offer.

Sarang Kunte

Unique cafe inside KEXP's studio. Nice coffees and ambience.

Allen Woods

I always love coming here because there's something very welcoming and vibrant about the space. They have complimentary sparkling water on tap, immaculate pastries and flawlessly poured espresso offerings that rotate through guest menus of the local coffee houses' finest fare. You can buy vinyl from the record shop, see concerts, and (my favorite) sit next to the broadcast booth and take a peek at how the radio station works. Definitely a great place to settle in and discover new music or just generally get creative inspiration.

J. Alexander Photography

So open and spaciousness in here it's amazing. I would say the coffee is secondary to how comfortable it is in here. The coffee is great but I would come here just to relax. With the multiple couches , love seats and chairs there are plenty of comfy spots to plop down and relax with a cup of coffee.

S.A Karim Dosso

I can't wait for my next trip. You guys are the best ever.

Morgan Peterson

great atmosphere, staff and coffee!

dk455 86

Been to a few cool events here. Nice relaxed space

Sarang Kang

Good coffee. Short hours. Understandable. They're a showroom, not a coffee shop. Great seating options.

Pat Philbin

In a word, KEXP. Coffee so good today, i had to lick the mug. Yes.

selfish 0619

Good, nice, perfect.

Cynthia Lepore

Very cool coffee spot in Seattle. Plus hearing local bands playing on KEXP on Saturdays feels so... well Seattle. The rotating coffee selection is fun and keeps you going back.

John Hauck

I love the whole idea of this place. Highlight local roasters brewed with world class machines. Plus an opportunity to pull some shots yourself on their home line of machines.

Chad Frederick

La Marzocco Cafe is an awesome coffee space! the fact that it is parked in the lobby of the KEXP studios makes it even more cool! I love listening to KEXP from the overhead speakers and seeing the KEXP DJs live in the booth! takes me back to my college radio DJ day! aww the memories! The space is very open with a variety of seating options from small tables to comfy couches to community table seating. they have a small selection of select coffees you can choose to have your choice of caffeine crafted from. They do supply power outlets (chunky red square looking things) for us laptop warriors to plug into. I also like the little vinyl record store (Light in the Attic Records and Distribution) sort of parked in the corner. have not chowed down on any of the food items yet but it looks like they are using products of London Pane down in Pioneer Square. great place to come for coffee and KEXP!

Shuting Shao

Very cool coffee place. A local favorite and also a good place to bring visitors!

giovanna hano

The best coffee shop you will ever go to. There is a record store & live radio show inside. Plenty of seating, great location, lots of natural light. Rotating coffee selection

Simone C

I had a delicious mocha and my partner had an on tap iced latte. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is really fun being that the space is shared with a local public radio station.

Claire Skarsten-Truong

If the music is small and slow, it will be better. A nice space, with nice coffee smell but crazy hip hop music kinda sucks.

Ross Hoseck

Very unique, original feel. Great music!

Lloyd Jr

The La Marzocco cafe is the perfect blend between Seattle cafe and musical chill spot. The KEXP radio share space and progressive decore never disappoints.

katrina locandro

Awesome Latte! The cafe has a great vibe and lots of seating too.

Joseph Gray

Great place to chill and peek at the kexp DJs doing their work.

Kate Timofeyeva

The best coffee! Love it!

Samuel Tompkins

Quite possibly the best coffee experience in the city. I love that the menu and offerings rotate every month, meaning there is always something new to try. The atmosphere and design is incredible and the staff are super friendly. Also a good opportunity to get hands-on with equipment if you are considering buying something.

Denisse A

Every month they have different roasters and they are always delightful. Great atmosphere!

Elizabeth Panzarino

Super hip vibe and really neat interior! All of the grab and go bites looked fantastic and it was hard to chose. I ended up getting the pretzel with sea salt and am kind of craving another! Definitely recommend and would be happy to come back here! Their black tea was also really good and had a flavorful spin from the generic black teas.

Justin Dixon

Love this place! Located inside the KEXP Gathering Space, it’s a great addition to the space. Brandon (my barista) and I held convo for a bit and he was very knowledgeable around details about their menu that I was curious about.

Joshua Hedani

Every months it's a new menu from a new coffee vender. How awesome is that.

Joseph Chambers

By far my favorite part of Seattle

James Costin

I went there to drink some coffee or tea, a great service, a beautiful view, friendly staff.

Tom Tessa

If not the best, the cappuccino made for me here is certainly in the top three for quality and craftsmanship. The employees are easy to talk to, and they know their craft. Gavin Gene

Strange place. Indie rock vibe but feels a bit isolated and empty inside. Cool decor but not a great ambiance. Amazing oatmeal latte. Would really only go there to get coffee to go or to stare at a screen and not look at anyone.

Carmen Torres

Absolute favourite coffee shop. Wonderful atmosphere and experience every time. I recommend to all my friends!

b ghf

Awesome place to have a good coffee

Matt McDonald

Great spot to grab a cup of coffee, have a meeting, catch a live show and/or browse some records.

Christopher Horton

Changes every month to a new roaster and layout. Always a great experience. Best cafe in Seattle.

Christopher Chin

The best spot for coffee lovers with a monthly rotating roaster in residence. The menu is always changing! The open space is great for studying or meeting with friends, accompanied by the KEXP DJs sets piped directly in from the studio.

spooko spagett

I loved visiting La Marzocco in Seattle! If you love coffee, definitely check it out! They featuring the best coffee from shops around the country, and we went they we're featuring and serving coffee from Elixr Roasters in Philly. They also have merchandise for sale and showcase their Espresso machines and equipment. Great coffee and great atmosphere

Phillip Hunter

Love the rotating offerings. So many are wonderful. And of course this is one of the best settings in Seattle

Connan Moody

Had the great pleasure of being in town during the SCA Expo while George Howell was on. Tried three legendary coffees and none disappointed. I love that while LM Cafe has its own staff it allows for the showcasing company to work directly to have quality control and a measured cooperation. It's in the radio building and has a great vibe with art and music based installations.

Hobie Anthony

Rotating menu plus my favorite radio on the stereo? What more could I ask?

Kathrin Collins

Right in the building and across from KEXP radio. Sit down in the little hall or take your coffee out for a stroll at Seattle Center. It is on the pricey side but people are very friendly and super helpful

Jeremy Pintus

This place is an absolute must stop if visiting Seattle for the first time, or if you've lived here your entire life! The baristas know exactly what they're doing, and the rotating roasters make it a new experience nearly every time you stop in!

Jacque Aboubakr

Best! Great coffee made on amazing machines.

Nicki Muhawi

This was a wonderful space! I love the record shop in the middle of it all. All the seating there made it a great place to have a conversation, meet new people (which I did), or even get some work done if you need to! I love the rotation of coffee that they bring in from around the country. Definitely will return when back in Seattle.

Sothunwath Sophanna

It was a great place to chill with some good music. Okay, honestly it was just way too expensive but it was really good coffee. I would give it a 5 star if the latte wasnt 5$.

Brett Godfrey

Excellent coffee, a variety of pastries. Awesome atmosphere, comfy couches and chairs. There is also an art exhibition space and record store (Light In The Attic) here as well.

michael glazier

Great coffee in a very relaxing space

Ambar Paranjape

It was meh. A+ for atmosphere. Very cool, chillax- -and-write-poetry-while-reflecting-on one's journey. However, the coffee was lackluster given that it was came out of a $7000 espresso machine. Pricing for the coffee was reasonable, but the double espresso I ordered was shy on crema and adding a tiny bit of sweetener (simple syrup) made it taste like I was drinking a penny. Three stars. Could be better but also could have been my fault.

Hugo Pelland

Friendly staff and good products

Julie E

No words, just stars. This place is dope.

Connor Dunne

Perhaps the best Cafe in Seattle. Amazing atmosphere. Plenty of seating, next to the KEXP studio (you can do tours too), with a small record store nearby. A rotating coffee supplier every month. Excellent coffee machines to demo. Knowledgeable baristas. Incredibly hard to top. It's worth going out of the way for, regularly.

Michael Hartmann

Really awesome space with the radio station and record place there. Tons of place to study and hang out. If I lived in Seattle this would be a frequent visit. Little disappointed that the resident roaster had run out of coffee so they were serving Stumptown.

Radu Andarachi

Wonderful place for meetings and awesome coffee!

Joe Kang

Great study spot. Good coffee rotation. Friendly baristas.

Serg Peganov

Too many people, service is getting worse

John Rudolph

Wow. If you are doing a Seattle coffee crawl make this your first stop. I met Leah and her great people yesterday and drank most of the coffees that they had on hand from their guest Roaster See Saw Coffee from Shanghai. I was absolutely delighted with Leahs professionalism and willingness to talk coffee and take unhurried time to answer my myriad questions. I also chatted with some of her people and I was very impressed with their attitude, coffee knowledge and brewing expertise. I've been to many wonderful coffee shops in Seattle and I have to say that this is by far the best experience that I've had. Some of the others have been great too, but this group sets a new high bar. Leah also set us up at their La Marzocco demo area and encouraged us to pull shots on the various La Marzocco machines that they have set up there. Make this your first stop on your next visit to Seattle.

P N

Very classy joint. Fun music, cool concept of rotating shops

Dan Farrell

Had some excellent single origin espresso at this place.

Ellie Falaris Ganelin

Stylish vibe. Amazing coffee. Great music DJing.

Sherry Hamm

I'm just walking a day a week They're the best. I love them with freshly-fruited coffee. I'm desperate for stars

Dominic Wallace

Great coffee. I've been here a couple of times on my trip to Seattle and every coffee has been 5/5. Great selection. It's about good specialty coffee and not dodgy American style cigarette Ash in warm water coffee. Minimal accoutrements and none of that horrendous artificial sweetner.

steven regnault

Decent service, great baked goods, unique coffee experience! Highlight of Seattle Centre

Bruce Ferneyhough

Great coffee and pastries to start your day.

Josh Kurnot

"Concept café." Coffee menu as well as interior changed based on the featured roaster or grower. Brew and extraction techniques for featured roasts is limited and dictated by the featured company and carried out by the local staff. Tastings and topic discussions usually Fridays at 10am. Staff knows every detail about the coffee they are brewing. Ask and they will inform you.

Amir Sharif

Great open space for working. Delicious pourover.

DrewDoesMore

I love the rotating menu and resident roasters.

Phil Brinks

Great little cafe... or not so little. Big space, cool vibe and demos available on some of the machines they sell. It was fun to check out!
