We are Gig Harbor locals and this is our favorite coffee shop in the area (we go at least once a week)! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and they take the time to get to know their customers by first name (Chloe is awesome). The drinks are made professionally with perfectly brewed espresso and milk that is steamed with care. Our kids love their Italian sodas and vanilla steamers. We also enjoy their pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect and want from a locally-owned maritime community coffeehouse - welcoming, warm and comfortable. The seating is plenty with tables and chairs, as well as a few couches if you really want to kick back and relax. They have local craft beer on tap, but we've not been there in the afternoon to partake...yet. We can't say enough good things about Kimball. Take the time to stop in - you won't be disappointed!

The coffee is very tasty! The ham and salami sloop have the perfect spread of pesto in a bed of spinach. Cozy place to socialize. Plenty of seating and would be comfortable for getting some laptop work done.

A new coffee shop in the area providing A needed change to the frequent chain shops so prevalent in Gig Harbor. The coffee is good and fresh, presented in a friendly manner by smiling staff. Plenty of parking was available on the day of my visit. Wifi of course is available. The environment inside is pleasant, and roomy . A good location for a coffee while chatting with friends. Ive lowered the rating to 3 stars from 5, as I went in on a Saturday morning with only 1 customer ahead, 3 employees behind the counter, and yet no one seemed interested in taking my order. After a needlessly long time, I had to leave, with no coffee.

Ordered a caramel frappe and started to drink it. It tasted like milk. Went back in n was told that "a frappe is just a base drink, no espresso is added." This was my first time there and I'll never go back. I have never heard that before. I've since talked to 4 different barristas and not one has ever heard of that. Obviously this is a money scam

Simply the best Coffee Shop in Gig Harbor. The staff is super helpful and fast. They make an effort to know everyone that comes through their doors. This makes the experience very personal. They also serve beer and wine which makes your happy hour that much more amazing. Try their white chocolate, white coffee, mocha blended with an extra shot of espresso. Amazing. Especially if the add a bit of chocolate syrup.

Had the margherita pizza the first time which was great. Second time around ordered a roasted turkey sandwich to go. The Havarati cheese was great, lettuce & tomato tasted fresh, the mustard was good as was the wheat bread. The turkey however was lacking (as in there was no turkey). I will try the turkey sandwich again next time I'm there since I figure if the sandwich was that good without turkey I can imagine how much better it will be with turkey. I would have went back but by the time I got home it was closed. I can't get mad, people make mistakes.

Such a great little business with quality service and food. Going to the café is like going to a friend's house just to hang out, relax and visit. My favorite sandwich is the Grilled Chicken Melt. My taste for coffee is different so I didn't care for this brand but that's just me. They have so much more than coffee that brings me back over and over. So, so sad they have to close...this shouldn't be as we NEED small businesses like these. They are rare gems. I do hope you get another chance to open again soon.

I absolutely love this place. There food and drinks are amazing. I love getting the pizza, which has a pretzel type crust.. and a caramel frappe, that is the absolute best I’ve ever tasted. The look of this place is so cute too.. and both baristas that were assisting my mom and I smiled really warmly when I first walked in. Such an amazing place!

I admit it...I went to another coffeehouse closer to my home this morning...one starting with "S" and ending, more or less, in "bux." It was too crowded with a too long line, and it was too loud and too bland since its remodel. I turned around and walked out...and came here. I'm grateful that I did. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff friendly and attentive, and the mocha I finally decided upon, delish, clearly made with love. Five stars! And much love! I'll be back!

This is my favorite coffeehouse! Everyone who works there are so friendly and they really get to know you. Excellent offerings and choices on the menu, including pizza, sandwiches, pastries, and other items. Their breakfast wraps are just delicious! Besides coffee they have several other offerings including a Yogachino Shake made with yogurt that you can add things to like chocolate and strawberries. I haven't seen this at other places. They have a very nice and relaxing atmosphere and music on the weekends as well.

Excellent service. This shop is local and family run. This is a new location just up the street from the old one. It’s right next to the fire station now. The new location has a clean but cozy vibe. I look forward to trying their pizzas in the future. It’s not had quiet as the old location which is a really good thing I think. In the past it was hard to have a meeting in there without feeling like you were being too loud. Live music is offered on the weekends which is a plus in Gig Harbor.

Family-owned and family-run. It doesn't get much better than going in, having the baristas remember you and your order, and getting to sit down and relax. They have cultivated a wonderful little arts environment. Their food and drinks are delicious. Besides that, they have local arts and crafts for sale, offer board games to play, and host concerts and talks throughout the year. I love taking people here.

Nice place but way too busy. We came, ordered coffee and sat down in the last two seats available. When we got up 20 minutes later there was a race for our seats. None of the other people, who had been sitting there much longer, had left. Either they need more space on Wednesday mornings or they need to find ways to turn tables. We are not coming back, which will make room for others.

What a great vibe this coffee shop has!!! On Saturday night's they have an "Open Mic" for local musicians to come show off their amazing talents!!!! Ordered a breakfast sandwich egg and bacon and was up charged for avocado ($1.50), tomato (0.50) and spinach (0.50) to get the sandwich to find out there was no bacon and only one slice of tomato. So frustrating... #mostexpensivebreakfastsandwichever.

Kimball's is a great place for coffee and friends. The atmosphere here is unlike any other café on the peninsula. It's mellow and relaxing, bright, open and welcoming. The sad part is this is Kimball's last week to be open. They are being shut down to be replaced by a Starbucks. I just don't think that's right.
