This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Record store.
Finally visited this West Seattle staple and absolutely loved it. For me this is how record stores should be and not enough of them exist now. Loved browsing the records and then came back in the evening for an in-store gig. Good vibes. Real old-school Seattle and a lot of history in those walls. Really cool.
I love so many record stores in this city, but this is the best of them all. I always, always find a ton of great jazz and Brazilian records here. They have tons of new stuff coming in all the time, so it's like a new store every time you go. The Cafe downstairs is great, too, and insanely cheap. I love, love, love this store. I wish I lived next door. It's a good thing I don't!
I can't stress how cool this place is. Great food and history all in the one package. Huge vinyl selection but light on Metal.
Their selection of vinyl of all genres is by far, second to none.
Great food, picked up some music #splntrband
Decent food, cheap coffee.
Great music, food, and service. Also extremely close to the C-line!
Place is Iconic! Get some grub and a couple of records and other fun gear! The honey coffee is superb! Can't wait to stop by and get some more records for my growing collection.
Great selection of records and awesome customer service
Great place, great people, great music. Love to stop here when I travel to Seattle. It is a must stop for any music and vinyl records lover. If you are a fan of Pearl Jam, it is a must stop to get rare vinyls, bootlegs, and merchandise such as shirts.
Coffee, decent. Service, nice, although a tad slower than I'd like. Food was unfortunately disappointing - eggs were cold, bacon seemed like it had been microwaved back to life, and the blueberry pancakes just came with maple on the side and butter in a couple of packs. For a place with plenty of character the food experience leaves a lot to be desired.
Throw back to the days of good. Old school record shop that retains the 90 era grunge sub pop feel. Wish they had show poster reprints or Amos Bros prints in house.
Great food and a low key atmosphere! Definitely a good stop for food and take a look around while you are there!
Easy Street Records is a wonderful place to start the day with coffee and start poking through albums! It lives up to its name! This is the west seattle location and since the Mercer st. Location was closed I’ve been meaning to come here! (My friend Maria now works the counter! Epic as she is, listening to as much as she can get her hands onto ;) (love you Maria!)) It’s a bit or part of Seattle from my youth that I’m glad is here, and will stay! We need passionate music stores to keep us in stock of great musical history! Thanks you guys, you’ll be seeing me soon!
The only spot in Seattle for records. Forget all the other spots. Easy Street rules. Plus live bands in store.
Great food, awesome servers. The wait is usually worth it.
Support your local record stores! The restaurant has awesome breakfast
The definitive record store of Seattle. An absolute pleasure to come here. This place is my national landmark.
Awesome place, could spend hours if not days finding gems in this place
I just preordered the latest Tool album, Fear Inoculum, which arrived the 29th of August, just in time for the actual digital release of Fear Inoculum (August 30th). I was emailing Dillon, since I made the purchase, around August 10th, can't quite remember exactly when, but he responded promptly, answering my questions of when my card would be charged, when can I expect the physical album, and even amused me a bit because I was hyping up the arrival of my album, haha. I've also been to this record store a few times, and always leave with some kind of gem I found. This independent store carries vinyls, merch, tapes, CDs, and so forth. I'll always keep coming back.
Food was good and a great variety of breakfast items to choose from but the coffee was mediocre at best. I would still recommend going here though.
There isn’t a better record store in Seattle, period. The coffee is awesome as well, and so is the food. So happy that they’ve signed a long term lease at this location. An institution if there ever was one!
Awesome place, breakfast is killer just get there early!
Awesome selection, classic old authentic Seattle record store (I'm glad there's at least one Easy Steeet still open after the Queen Anne location closed) with a good diner attached. Great for brunch and then buy some music. Phone booths have a great selection where you can listen to music before you buy it. Loud music playing, a relaxed vibe, and a lot of life right outside at the busy all-way intersection, right in the heart of one of the best parts of the city. Also close to Rapid Ride and other bus lines, a great French bakery, and lots of bars and other cool shops.
Need an obscure album, today's hits on vinyl, your favorite cassette because you still actually own a Walkman, that pre-owned out of print movie you just can't find, or just a fantastic breakfast? Well look no further... Easy Street Records has it all. What an amazing shop. F&¢k Alli Beach... There's only one reason to visit West Seattle and Easy Street is it! If you're one of the people that brave the early morning Black Friday lines, let me suggest starting here. No where else will they feed you platters of bacon and hot coffee while you wait out in the dark and dreariness to spend your hard earned money.
One of my favorite record stores I visited in Seattle. Had vinyl that I had not seen anywhere else. Cafe was a bonus.
Go for the Records and stay for the cafe. It's a perfect breakfast spot in West Seattle. I would like to keep this place a secret but I'm sure the rest of West Seattle has caught on to this spot too.
Good food, friendly service, awesome tunes, what more do you need?
E very eclectic cafe and record store rolled into one. They attract a super trendy crowd and it’s a great place for people watching. The food is REALLY reasonably priced and there’s a great selection of tasty meals. They serve lunch all day so getting a cheeseburger for breakfast is easy. Expect to have to wait 15 minutes on Saturday or Sunday morning. Love this place!
Can't go wrong with this hot spot. The first floor is accessible but there is no elevator to get to the second.
Record store is 5 star, food was 3 star disappointed. Service good, food sub standard.
Yummy yummy food great music and wonderful service highly recommended
Can spend hours browsing music (CDs or records) and other memorabilia, eat some food or have a beer. Great way to spend afternoon.
Son picked this place out, and so glad he did. Awesome unique little cafe with all kinds of music! Food was great, service was great. From Hannibal, MO
Hip, cool and full of sounds ! Breakfast too - what a cool idea :) loved it so much stop there 3 times before we left. Stop in and visit, have a coffee, listen and grab a cool shirt on the way out!
Easy Street records has been there forever and is an awesome place to go check out some vinyl
Great breakfast, reasonable prices. Small so there was a bit of a wait for our party of 4, maybe 10 minutes. Record store is fun, too.
Great selection of new and used music. Tape Vinyl and CD's. I was very impressed and the staff is awesome very knowledgeable.
Great breakfasts, but too many Millennial types.
Hands down my favorite place to buy records. They'll also special order what you need.
Best record shop around!
Our favorite place. Consistently outstanding coffee! Loved our food and the environment is so comfortable. Loved the staff and didn't mind waiting to be seated. ♥️ impressive accolades! Unique collection of records. My husband said it was the best espresso he's ever had.
Records and Coffee, what more could you want. Classic west Seattle cafe serving hearty breakfast dishes with a diner style bar and upstairs seating. That’s only one half, the other is a full service record shop with equal amounts of vinyl and compact discs. They also have a dope collection of videos and other musical paraphernalia. A favorite of mine for a Sunday brunch.
I love that all of their food tastes exactly like you want it to. Eggs, bacon, toast; they're not reinventing anything here; just cook it right and serve it up. Best of all, they know that biscuits and gravy should have eggs included! Mad tasty
Amazing people and too many records
Such a shame to have to leave a bad review for one of the last remaining record stores, but the experience in the cafe was one of the worst from a server/host, and I had to share. I had 5 visitors from England including 2 young kids wearing their easy street hoodies, excited to come to an American record store and get breakfast, but the server refused to sit all six of us together, saying it wouldn’t happen as servers couldn’t handle that big a table. There was already a table of 9 seated. She said we had to split up and sit 3 and 3 and when asked if they could be two tables close, she said that wouldn’t happen. I then suggested we could sit at the bar, but she responded ‘that won’t happen either’ she then walked away. I asked for a table for 5, saying 1 could sit on a lap. She said ‘well then it’s going to be an hour wait’. 45 minutes later, we checked in on wait time and she said not for another 30 minutes. At the point, the servers defiance to ruin our experience won and we decided to leave. We gave the server some feedback on how she treated us, and she blamed the owners for not paying $20 to add more tables. Matt and Adam (manager, owner), please follow up with your server (she had streamers in her hair). Stores like this are a dying breed and I want them to thrive, but it won’t when guests are treated this way. Sorry to have to only give 1 star.
Good inexpensive food, good coffee. Open doors during the summer. 4 stars since they also sell music, just not my favorite.
The record store has many interesting finds for those that are interested in purchasing a record for yourself or a friend. They have a very large and eclectic variety to choose from. I really enjoy the concerts that I’ve attended here. Artists have even been known to have their record release parties here. The cafe has decent food. Many enjoy brunch here, but it’s so small that the wait is not usually worth it. When my friends come from out of town though, I always take them to eat brunch at this spot. It is a local favorite. The food prices are fair. During the summer this is a good place to stop by when you’re attending the Sunday street market.
Best Rainer beer I've had since the last time I was there. 2 g-strings up.
I've been shopping for music, used and new, for about three decades in various cities. I was surprised to find such a huge collection of Skinny Puppy CDs here -- and hey, they sell CDs still, not just LPs! -- as well as new releases, that Replacements boxed set, and a revolving selection of awesome buttons (pins, whatever). I've been able to park right in front each time; it's not an overly busy neighborhood. They also have music shirts and stuff. I haven't even tried the food and I love the place.
I've been to A LOT of record stores & that was one of the cleanest ones I've ever been in!
Music, Food, Beer, T-shirts, and live performances - great local record store!
I've gone to this place since I moved to Seattle and they have never ever disappointed. They're breakfast no matter what you order is to die for. Their staff is so great and gets to know u on a personal level the more u go!
You want it all? Well, they have it all? I went in the other night after record store day to see what was left. They had plenty still going they had money of copies of things I wanted. I even went in looking for a couple of obscure eighties albums, found all three I wanted and another 3 I didn't know I wanted. This place is the best.
Johnny Cash Special! Mudhoney Latte. Plus great albums and dvds and vinyl and live shows...what else can I ask for from this joint? This is a Seattle institution. Go there. Breakfast or just a coffee or beer...ENJOY.
GREAT selection and coolest vibes! Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes this the best record store in Seattle!
Amazingly delicious brunch! Jaw-droppingly impressive used record collection at competitive prices! Where to begin? Well, have the brunch first since you will need the energy for all the vinyl rummaging you will be doing after. Be sure to check the new arrivals bin first since some some of the very best finds will be the first to go.
Classic record store! Love this place...
A really cool place! Really good food, coffee, staff and, as you might guess, they play good music.
Gosh I love this place. There is never enough parking time to both eat and shop in this one place. Always on our hit list when in Seattle. If you're lucky it is the weekend and Benny and the Jets is on the menu. ❤️ Personal fav.
Cool record shop with a coffee shop and a dinner. Super friendly staff. Perfect place for a casual breakfast.
Amazing selection and the gentleman in the front gave us chips after out purchase for a free iced coffee.. excellent service
Excellent food in the cafe. Show up early on the weekends. Lines tend to be long. But if you don't mind the wait there's also record store.
Huge variety. We love stopping o sideways to walk the farmers market.
I always find good music here and get great recommendations from staff.
By far my favorite record store in the US. This is Seattle's happy place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great catalog. Thanks for everything Matt!
Terrific selection of LPs and other music related stuff
Tasty food, good tunes, rad selection, and rare finds. Everything is kind of on the high end of it's value, but you're paying to keep the lights on at a badass place, so don't cheap out and buy from Amazon
Personal favorite, great vinyl selection, in store performances, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a menu with something for everyone, just all around fun place to go.
I've been going to easy Street off and on for 7 years and they've always had great friendly service with an energetic yet relaxing atmosphere a great place to eat breakfast and lunch and fill up on coffee. over the many years I've been going to easy Street I've Never once been disappointed. Generally better suited for smaller parties of people (1-4)
Oh wow the selection is outstanding here.
It's just the best
Besides being a wonderful record with legendary status in Seattle, East Street also has a great cafe with breakfast all day and good tasty lunches. You never know who might be lurking in the booth next to you, lots of bands make this a stop on their northwest concert tours.
One of the last standing art record shops around. True destination. If you're interested in music at all, this place needs to be an experience in your life if not for just once, then all the time.
A legit greasy spoon cafe with a kickass record store attached. Funny and knowledgeable staff. No hint of the snark you’ll receive at other record stores. What more could you ask for?
Best place to buy records in Seattle! Grab some vinyl and have breakfast in their cafe, making sure slices of bacon are part of that order.
One of the best breakfast places in Seattle! Informal and laid back, good food, great service. This gets an AAA+++
Great record selection, new and used. Cafe is a cool place to grab brunch.
A genuine Seattle experience! Good food and if you like music, lots of visuals to enjoy.
Cool spot with cafe and every record you could want. The only issue was the cassettes did not have a price and at checkout i had to go upstairs and get them priced. The guy didn't even look at them and slapped a $3 tag, he said there is no bargaining, then 3 of the 5 cassettes did not play right.
Really cool store. They have everything from new to old. I didn't try the cafe but if you collect records, you'll find some awesome Jem's here. They're reasonably priced too.
I've been a longtime customer , friendly service great product
Always good for a visit! Great selection!
Love this record store. They always have great stuff and the people are super friendly and knowledgeable.
Great place for the collector or novice! Every type of music is available. Best fun was searching thru the bargains!
Really a cool place to chill and pick up some food and tunes.
Great service, amazing selection of vinyls and CDs, great atmosphere
We eat here so often and it’s usually so amazing ! The food and the atmosphere. But we had a terribly rude server named Becca. All we asked was about the food and she got super rude and snippy with my partner. We waited over 45 mins for eggs and French toast. She also was not paying attention to our table which NEVER happens with any other server we’ve ever had. It’s Wednesday, they were exceptionally busy or anything. We had to ask for coffee refills 3 times and she didn’t check on us once. She never even came to grab our payment for the check and my boyfriend had to walk up and pay. I don’t mind a long wait as long as the server is nice and refills drinks at least. 10/10 love this place but not when Becca was our server.
Decent record store and if you are in the West Seattle area, I recommend checking it out. Otherwise, it's a little pricey compared to other record shops in town. They occasionally hold mini concerts, so that's always cool, and I love going around and checking out the artwork on the walls. Overall, not bad, but your dollar would go farther at Everyday Music in Capitol Hill, for example
Small selection. A bit too trendy. If you like vinyl it might be your place. Better places for used music at the University District or Capital Hill.
Great service and awsome pics of alice and chains
Really fun place to explore and find music. A must got to stop if your going to the junction.
Unique WSEA eatery with stand-out menu options and excellent service. Expect long wait-times and high volume levels during peak weekend times. Recommend Mon-Fri instead. We keep going back because we love having great drip coffee (Caffe Vita), real maple syrup and extra crispy thick-cut bacon served with our pancakes and eggs. Nearby on street parking a challenge. Instead, look for access to one of several free public parking lots within a one block walk.
Cool staff and large selection in record store, not much underground music but have some stuff worth buying. Great place for breakfast and lunch, service is rushed here and there and its usually hard to get more than 4 seated, but it's always busy and it's affordable. Food is delicious and has a lot of options, always leave happy and full.
Chill and easy. I take my guests visiting Seattle here. I like the pancakes...and the scrambled eggs and the bacon and just sitting back...day dreaming about Sound Garden & Nirvana...and debate if you should buy a record player...
Best breakfast ever especially their HASHBROWN and BACON. Easy Street Records HASHBROWN and BACON seems to disappear off my plate quickly. Did I mention how good their bacon and hashbrowns are lol. Last but not least, they serve LEGITIMATELY cooked Eggs over medium.
The coffee is bomb! I went back 3 times during Seattle vacation.
Very unique place to grab a bite. The cafe is part of the record store and fits right in thanks to clever theming and decoration. Service was quick despite our large group and all the food was great. I can't remember what I had but I know it was good.
THIS REVIEW IS ONLY ON RESTAURANT AREA. Good food, on point casual service, and great prices makes this a busy spot for breakfast & lunch. On weekends be prepared to wait - but you can have fun by finding your sought after used LP, CD, or DVD in one of the 10 Music Stores in the USA (Rolling Stone, 2018).
Iconic shop with the most ridiculous selection (in the best way!!!). Lots of Pearl Jam and PJ adjacent merch available. Super cool.
Great little place for brunch, love that it is very child friendly! Our waitress was super accommodating.
Good breakfast, great music, worth an hour of your time whenever you go!
Pretty relaxed inside being in the middle of a hustle and bustle corner.
One of the best record stores in Puget Sound. I love this place.
$1 drip coffee and great environment PLUS a record shop? Love it!
Old school record shop with tons of classic vinyl as well as new releases.
Good selection of records and a cool building
Love this place. Great breakfast for a good price. Excellent friendly service.
Always a great place to visit. Friendly staff. Great selection. Grab a bite to est while you're at it!
Awesome service, hip place, great food! Our Wedding Anniversary lunch!
love this place! they have great breakfast at reasonable prices. really enjoying browsing all of the other items in the store as well.
Really cool place to visit in the junction! Whether you are set out to find something to purchase, or just browse, people are super nice and the vibe is great!
Great music store.
Iconic, gritty, excellent music selections, hardrock mixes in the air with breakfast smells from attached diner!
Our go to for breakfast and lunch. Great food, great music, great people. Amazing coffee.
Great shop great food great staff! One of the best record stores in the U.S.!
Large selection of music on multiple formats (the entire upstairs is vinyl), as well as fun music related merch (shirts, posters, buttons, books, DVDs). They are also happy to order specific items if they don't have them in stock. Get there early enough and you can get a completely decent and cheap meal in the cafe.
Meet a hipster and have a meal in a record store at the Alaska Junction.. I guess Seattle's rock stars eat here, must be because they can keep an eye on the pile of their unsold cd's. And where else could you flick a piece of egg into the back of Eddie Vedder's hair? Food's decent, good hashbrowns and great, thick bacon. Only complaint I have with the food is they serve dry toast with an ice cold pat of butter on the side, so you invariably mangle your toast. The best part is there's a lot of people watching. The worst part is the stupid rock names they gave all the items, like the Culture Club sandwich, or the Dolly Parton (something about 2 eggs). How corny.
Fun and hip music themed burger place. Good refillable coffee for one dollar makes this one of the most affordable places in Seattle. Food is good though nothing special, apart from the names of the menu items all being fun music puns. The #1 spot to get breakfast with your fellow 20 something hipster friends.
Awesome to the maximum! Music, movies and really good breakfast! Oh yeah, and rad live shows too! Easy Street Records Forever! (R.I.P. Lower Queen Anne!)
Love this place...beed more record stores
This place is badass, a hip record store combined with a cafe. Good tunes. Friendly and fast service. Wide variety of savory and affordable comfort food. Small dining area so check how busy they are before going.
This place is amazing, delicious, and it's fun to wait for a table looking through the records. Staff is fantastic.
Great, inexpensive brunch. Our server was outstanding!
Great spot but gets busy. Fun menu for food and obviously great selection of music!
Cool looking place but just don't order food . It took over 45 minutes before I left and I never even got my food the waitress never updated me or anything.
Excellent breakfast spot. We have been going here for years. Sometimes a wait on the weekends.
Cool dinner/record store. Food was pretty good and service was on point. Would most definitely come back.
Great coffee and only $1.00. Popular breakfast place.
a very cool place, seams like it's been there forever , music last's forever
Went here and waitress was sarcastic which didn't help being first time here. Ordered salsa, sour cream, and guacamole and where we are from that include chips. Waitress was sarcastic about not having chips with a laugh. When did was brought asked for the chips. She said we don't have chips seriously. What do you use salsa and guacamole with if that is all that comes out. Worst experience with menu and waitress ever.
Love the restaurant and the bar. We always get a bloody Mary and they are the best we ever have had. The bar is small and can get loud at times but the staff is awesome.
Big fan of this West Seattle hot spot! Love the fat that I can enjoy a solid breakfast and peep the new records that have come out! Keep up the good work.
An awesome selection of CDs records anything you desire in the music realm a+ they also have a cafe in there with serve some pretty good food
Nice trendy local record shop. Great selection of vinyl records. Probably higher priced than other shops in the area but far more likely to have what your looking for. The cafe looks good I'll have to update when I get a chance to try the cafe.
Really good breakfast! Great value! Fast and friendly service!!
They are always painfully slow making food. I've been dozens of times and you can never sit down, eat and cash out in under 90 minutes...ever. For a breakfast diner, this is pretty shocking. Food is a solid 7/10. Vibe is great and it's kid friendly, except for the slowness. We will be back...but only on days we have nowhere else to be.
Great prices, great location, and a great selection. I’ve been to a lot of record stores, and this is one of the best!
