One of the best coffee places I've ever visited. We found it by accident on vacation, but it was closed. Got up early and went back the next day. Staff is so nice, professional and adds a friendly feel to the place. Definitely going back next time I go to VT.

I recently purchased coffee Vermont Coffee Company for the first time. Coffee was great but the use of plastic in the whole bean bag seems excessive. Why are you contributing to the global plastic issue?

Coffee and service are amazing, food was ok but a little over priced for what you get. Really really love the coffee though.

Absolutely fantastic product, service, and workspace when needed. I was camping nearby and needed to get online and wound up staying until the close two days in a row. So super impressed by the group here.

This coffee is great without question. We found out that it makes excellent coffee vodka. Coffee vodka, you ask? ok here goes. You take a bottle of smirnoff red label, remove 3 fingers of vodka from the bottle and set it aside in a cup. You'll be pouring it back in later after we add the ground coffee. Next, fill your coffee grinder with VT Coffee's darkest coffee. Grind it for a drip coffee maker consistency, and put the whole grinder's worth of coffee in the bottle of vodka with a funnel. Cap it, shake the heck out of it, and then fill the rest of the bottle back up with the vodka you set aside. Leave some room in the top of the bottle so you can still shake it. Now you shake the heck out of the bottle a couple times a day for about 5 days. The coffee flavor and all that caffeine will get into the vodka. This isn't an exact science, but the longer you wait before filtering out the coffee, the better the results. Waited five days? Now you filter it out using a gold coffee filter and a big container. ** Don't use a paper filter, it will clog in seconds. Put the filtered vodka back in the original bottle. Top the coffee bottle off from a second fresh bottle of Smirnoff. Shake the daylights out of it again, and then pour yourself a vodka and kahlua, with tons of caffeine and a nice smoky coffee flavor.

Some people stop at wineries while traveling, others go for local brewhouses. To each their own but I prefer coffee roasters (roastaries?). Vermont Coffee has been my coffee of choice for that past few years while living in Maine. A road trip south put me within a few hundred miles and so I decided to stop in. Friends everywhere! All enjoying great fresh roasted and brewed coffee. Thanks VT Coffee Company for a great experience! See you in the Spring!

Best coffee anywhere, great staff love this place

This establishment roasts organic coffee beans from fair trade farmers mostly from the Caribbean, Central America and South America. The cafe at the factory is a decent place to sit in, have breakfast or lunch and drink coffee. They serve pastries, toasts, bagels and breakfast sandwiches along with your coffee. It is a nice quiet place to enjoy a conversation with family and friends or colleagues. They have free WiFi which allows you to do work on the go or if you need to do a quick search on the internet. The cafe also has a picture window which allows you to view how coffee are roasted in the factory. You can even take home bags of whole bean coffee and swags. The Vermont Coffee Company is not to be missed when visiting Middlebury, Vermont. It is right off US-7 on Exchange Street in a concrete building that reads cafe on the far right of the lot. If you have time and are into alcoholic beverages, be sure to stop in at their friends along the street at Stone Cutters Spirits (next door), Appalachian Gap Distillery (behind them), Woodchuck Hard Cider or Otter Creek Brewing.

This site has fresh, good coffee. It has a large dinning space at picnic tables to eat and drink. I personally don't enjoy the factory setting of the Cafe.
