A cozy and inviting place to go before or after the amtrak. Great coffee and breakfast items. Although last time I was there, the communal table was unstable. But the food, drink, and staff were all fantastic

This place is excellent! I don't know why I haven't gone sooner. I went on a Wednesday morning around 9:30 and was greeted with a counter FULL of yummy looking sweet and savory pastries. The service was great, the food and chai were delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy. I can't wait to go back this weekend to really enjoy the place.

I try to find a coffee shop near each of my siblings so when I visit I have a place to enjoy and look forward to. I wanted this to be it, good coffee, nice atmosphere but the barista was abrasive when I asked a simple question. I left feeling embarrassed and not wanting to return.

Trendy/modern interior. Staff was friendly lots of places to sit. Baked goods were delicious. Coffee was fine, nothing incredible but not bad.

I'm not a coffee fanatic, so I can't judge the finer points on that, but I haven't heard any complaints. I come for the friendly staff, creative sweet and savory baked items (beet muffins!), cozy seating and cool decor. And how can you not like a place with mountain biking magazines to look at!

5 stars if you're coming for coffee. The owner, Jake, knows his stuff when it comes to bean sourcing, roasting and preparing the brew. These guys get many of their beans from the same place as Brio and the quality shows in the final product. I'm currently a fan of the Yirgacheffe.

Nice, quaint little place with good coffee and friendly staff. Lattes were good and staff was friendly. Bagged coffee wasn't my favorite around but coffee is very much a personal preference thing. Overall 5 stars.

We stopped in for coffee and yum before catching the train. Each cup of coffee is freshly ground and brewed, and the baked goods, all made on premises, are delightful. This was my first visit but it will not be my last.

Great coffee and chill atmosphere, delicious pastries. Try any muffin or scone that has the blueberry almond, but save the last one for me. Perfect for working or reading a good book on their couch. Love the cafe music they play, some places the music doesn't fit the vibe. Staff is very kind and very friendly. Not sure what they do environmentally but would love if they would swap to metal or paper straws like some other coffee shops have. Support local and visit Nest!

My favorite place to get coffee and a treat, from a homemade pop tart to an amazing cookie (the red eye is my favorite!) I'm never disappointed! The coffee is delicious, we always grab a pound to enjoy at home! A gem in Essex!

We've always been big fans of the firebird cafe. To hear they opened another cafe in the area was exciting, and it turns out it's just as good!! A great place for a casual quick bite and coffee!

Cute, nice feel, good tea, I was hoping for more bakery goods and snacks. I was hoping to get a light lunch there. I know it's not a lunch place but I offten get a light lunch at coffee shops. The bakery options where very limited, I went someplace else after have a very good tea and small snack.

Counter staff seemed disinterested. Poorly designed cafe with a huge wall between the counter and the kitchen. This allows the staff to hang out back and not see customers. Coffee was fine, but my chocolate chip cookie was bland. Their other baked goods looked great, but I don’t think I’ll go back.
