Cafe Lotti is a Quintessential Vermonter hippy cafe located in the bucolic town of East Burke. The quaint cafe itself is built into an expcetionally charming Methodist church built in the 1838 which has been repurposed along the way. This latest reprise as a cafe is a total success and fit for purpose. Defined by large and intact 8 foot sash widows which flood the honey dew walled cafe with natural sunlight, and add a cheery and elegant athmosphere to this casual comfortable cafe. The food is based on high quality ingredients most of which seems locally sourced. I ordered the Maria sandwich which is a take on the classic caprese on ciabatta except with the addition of Prosciutto. It was delicious and the fresh basil hit the right note on combining the flavors together. I also demolished a buttery chocolate cookie, which despite grabbing it from the day old basket still tasted just as delicious. This cafe feels more like community hub, a place for locals to gather and chat. To relax and catch up. It was great to see the small selection of locally made honeys, maples and other goods on sale.

I feel bad giving this a poor review as I can tell this is a local hot spot. The interior of those Cafe is extremely homey and welcoming, but the coffee is not great. Food options are limited, but this is really the only option in burke.

My wife and I had a late breakfast here on a Sunday, and it was fantastic! I had a bacon, egg, and cheddar spinach wrap, and she had a nice sandwich and home fries plate. The coffee was excellent and the food was even better. The atmosphere is wonderful, calm, and in some ways inspiring. There is art and writing all over the place, really giving it a very thoughtful backdrop over conversation. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, decor, conversation, and of course----coffee! The sandwiches are generous and always really tasty. Very kid-friendly and relaxed with lots of games and books. Many local artisans sell their wares here as well. Cafe Lotti is a great boon to the community. Highly recommend!

My first impression of this place was wow I was greeted with huge smiles and a very comfortable atmosphere the whole place smelled of fresh cinnamon rolls which they were preparing! Being my first time in here I didn't know what I wanted I asked for some recommendations and was handed some of the most tastiest concoctions I've ever had in my life! This place is a true hidden gem and I highly suggest you do business with them!!

Fine if you like sweet coffee drinks. They have a super expensive espresso machine but they don't know how to put together the classic coffee drinks. Please study the proper techniques for foaming/blending and don't burn the espresso.

Coffee is O'k but cooled off quickly., expensive baked goods were stale. The owner was bashing Trump and Trump supporters not caring that some of his voters were regulars like us. We get tired of all these lefties who think only their opinion is right and say the worst about all who disagree with them with no respect for people sitting in their business.. Overall, overpriced and not worth the money.
