Have loved this place for years but just can't stomach their prices...paid almost $25 two nights ago for 2 milkshakes and a pint of icecream that tasted "old" when we opened it. Have the owners changed? If not, they need to wake up and bring back the high caliber we (and a lot of other families) remember. It has lost its charm.
Just stumbled into this place to be entertained by all the funny gag gifts as I waited in line to order. The cone was awesome and the ice cream was huckleberry and chocolate so you can’t go wrong there! It was amazing. 10 minutes of my life I can’t wait to revisit again!
When I asked the staff Sunday afternoon about which icecream would be safe for a gluten allergy, they were clueless! "Is gluten in milk?"' one of the staff asked. The other girl was equally clueless even after I explained gluten was in wheat. The signs all along the entry line knew more than they did about allergies. Needless to say I didn't order any ice cream there for my 10 yr old. I was shocked and expect more. Gluten intolerance is not uncommon. Fortunately the gelato place across the street knew what I was talking about. Very dissappointing.
Great icecream! It is slightly expensive however they have good service and good icecream.
We love to stop by Java Cow every time we're on Main Street. They have great coffee, muffins, ice cream and more. I also love to look at all thier fun, unique gifts in thier cute shop. I recommend them for sure.
A little on the pricey side and the kid dishing up the ice cream didn't seem to have much enthusiasm, but it was sure good!
Great ice cream flavors and nice stylized place.
Order the tuxedo latte! It's like a dessert in a cup! Delicious pastries too❤️
Best icecream we've ever had! Still dreaming about the Sammi D's (sp?).
It's the funnest coffee and the cream shop I've ever been in. Besides a big selection of drinks and ice cream they have really good desserts. Wedding cookies, several biscottis, tiramasu, and eclairs to name a few items. Then there is all the fun gift shop items that would make great white elephant gifts. Great place to pass the lazy times.
Quite pricy, but really good. Great flavors, many options.
Great crepes.
We stopped in here fora a coffee and had to sit down and get a waffle after smelling them. It was worth it for sure!
Everything is Yummy!
I've been stopping in for years to work on my laptop thanks to the free WiFi. Love their delicious quiche for a light lunch. And their homemade strawberry ice cream is to die for. Fun novelty gift items as well. Java Cow remains of the authentically colorful local businesses on Main Street.
Fun and funky spot, that’s a must visit when you’re in Park City. There is a tasty treat for everyone, and products are high quality. Love that you can sample ice cream before you make the big choice.
We love the ice cream and they have dairy free options which is perfect for our little girl! (she has a severe dairy allergy) it's pretty far from Tooele, but it's worth the drive!
Coffee was okay, shop was crowded but relaxed.. not a bad place
Delicious ice cream, kind employees and a fun atmosphere!
Ice cream is delicious, especially Sami Dee's flavor. Yum. Better to get coffee elsewhere though. This is the only place to get crepes on Main. Crepes are decent. Plenty of seating around back and lots of cow souvenirs. Also fun to see the real Banksy on the exterior wall!
$13 for a single ice cream scoop waffle cone - served by high school kids who couldn’t get a single ice cream scoop on a cone. It was a LONG wait with poor service they were working hard but need to be trained better as employees. The facility could also use a deep cleaning.
Good ice cream.
Had a pretty tasty savory crepe and a nice Caffe Ibis cold brew. Both quite delicious. A little pricy for what it is but cheap for Main Street food. My sister got a waffle that was quite dry and I don't recommend ordering their waffles.
Looks can be deceiving! This place looks like just another tourist trap but the coffee, baked goods, and ice cream were incredible! The inside looks like a tourist-oriented souveneir store, so if you're looking for novelties, you could stop by here as well, I suppose. The cold brew was really good, quite cheap, and had a refill for half-price. The ice cream was also great with interesting and unique flavors. There's a lot of places to choose from in this area and I'm sure not all of it is very good, but just be aware, this place REALLY is a highlight and totally worth checking out! It would be easy to overlook it, but try to remember the name and check it out if you're in Park City.
True American business not a corporation "worm and friendly" EXCELLENT PLACE
Good pastries, crepes and coffee, tea etc.
Ice cream is super creamy and delicious! Coffee is smooth. Purple Cow ice cream is my favorite. Almond Joy Mocha was terrific.
What a delicious surprise, the almond ice cream was out of this world
Not the most friendly personnell.
A disappointment. Ice Cream was poorly scooped and almost $5 for a single scoop. Folks serving honestly couldn't remember anything. Additionally the deserts/sweets weren't bad, they get the two stars.
Great ice cream, lousy coffee
Good coffee, nice folks. Would go again.
Java cow, moooore like Java Wow!
It was good but the service wasn't the best. The girl at the cash register was sucking on a spoon with ice cream on it. She also was half paying attention to us while she was talking to her co-workers. When we wanted to order the second item we wanted she told us to "hold on". Kinda rude.
Too fun to pass by, and they have ice cream flavors that you're unlikely to find anywhere else.
I ended up having the strawberry smoothie, delightful. My fiancé had the iced latte, too much milk. Great overall vibe.
Good ice cream and shakes. We always stop here when in Park City.
Awesome place! The hot cocoa is the most delicious hot cocoa the I’ve tried in Utah!! Excellent service! I recommend this place!
Always great food and drink!
Very cool coffe and ice cream shop. A must if your in park city!
I went here 30 minutes before closing and the workers didn't want to help me because they were closing. I tried one sample of ice cream and put the spoon in the trash bin with the other used sample spoons. When I asked to try another ice cream, the worker grabbed a spoon out of the trash bin and scooped ice cream with the dirty spoon. Once I ordered my ice cream, the worker (who was just touching cleaning supplies) grabbed the cone without washing his hands before or using a napkin/glove and tried to give me that. Worst customer service and the workers don't know anything about health codes.
Great food
I would rate them higher, but the prices are out of control.
Probably the worst ice cream I've ever had. Not even sure how you mess it up this bad. The Rocky road didn't even taste like chocolate. Also that and plain chocolate were the only chocolate selections. What? How can you only have two chocolate varieties? So the selection was trash too. The mint chip wasn't bad. But it wasn't great either. Definitely not recommended. Definitely not going back. The most flavorful thing was the cone.
Wonderful coffee bar with pastries tables to sit and chat. Delicious ice creamyou could put in a cup or a picture perfect waffle cone. If you're in Park City it's a must to stop into.
Every time we've been here, this place has had unfriendly and unhelpful staff and very slow service. HOWEVER, I give them a pass because 1) it is Park City, 2) the food and drinks are good, and 3) it is a tradition.
Delicious Coffee, treats & ice cream. Cool stuff to buy.
Fabulous homemade ice cream and crepes eaten while you browse silly gift items that charm old and young nibblers.
Simply the best I've cream I've had.
Coffee and oce cream! Did I die and go to heaven? I think not I was at Java Cow Coffee & Ice Cream! Great coffee and icw cream and a fun place to chillax! Bring a date cause if the date sucks at least You still get ice cream!
I was here a few minutes ago I got the mango and lemon sobert scoops! I threw them away, for some reason the ice cream was sticky didn’t expect that at all since they are water based. But they really tasted gross , and for the price I paid was just not worth it what a shame. I hate throwing away food but I just couldn’t eat this ice cream because it was so sticky and gross !!
Coffee was gross at first, but towards the bottom it was great
Good coffee and a surprisingly good breakfast dishes. I recommend the Green eggs & ham or the You're Bacon me Crazy
Best Ice cream in PC!
This place is so fun! Very eccentric, lots to look at and explore. Good coffee and tea, good baked goods! I won't lie, I didn't order much more than that, but what I had I really enjoyed! The place is busy though so be aware! Good location, fun place overall.
Funky coffee and ice cream store. Smells delicious, just walking in adds calories.
Ordered white mocha frappe. Paid $11.00 for it and it was pretty much water . No flavor worst coffee i have ever had
The ice it's okay. Some say it's the best in Park City but I don't see what all the hype is about. (if you've ever had Graeter's or Aglamesis ice cream youll know what I mean)
The ice cream is quality the prices are a bit high. When I mentioned that I found the prices to be up there (like a little under $5 for a single scoop) the response was, “it’s park city”. But I give it four stars because the worker named David was awesome and treated me very well.
Had it twice. Pretty good ice cream. A long slow line both times. People look at all the merch instead of looking at the flavors.
Pretty good ice cream. Very expensive, as befits Main Street, Park City, Utah. Must be a real Cash cow. Ha.
Love their ice cream
Over priced and not worth your time. I've been working on main street for 11 years now, and I've seen the quality go down and down and down, year after year. It's really disappointing. Their prices have skyrocketed with the decrease of value you pay for the ingredients. The ice cream and coffee are so not worth the price point, go to Rocky mountain chocolate for your ice cream and anywhere else for coffee, I promise it'll be a way more acceptable product. Idk man. Maybe they got new owners a while ago or something but I miss the really good breakfast burritos from Rico and wraps that weren't soft and soggy and the pasta salad that was crunchy and fresh. Js.
They have espresso. They have ice cream. So I asked for the two in one. Apparently, a drink with a scoop of ice cream is an engineering novel beyond canny capabilities. Charged me separately for each. IMFO, fail.
Really good icecream
Great flavors and treats, fun merch, but it's a bit cramped. Be sure to beat the rush if you go!
Yummy ice cream, and a present for everyone!
The chocolate monster ice cream is awesome!
Coffee was pretty good, just be careful because they keep it really HOT
Good ice cream
Employees have head phones while helping customers and some weren’t wearing gloves other then that amazing place for ice cream just need to be more organized and professional about work
Quaint little shop on Main Street in Park City. We had delicious hand made ice cream, a Nutella eclair and a fabulous liege waffle. It was really delicious. Take the free trolley up main street for an easier ride up the hill. Take the time to appreciate the scenery!
Yummy but not the fastest. Get the pastry
Get the purple cow ice cream! So fkn good.
Staff needs a lengthy lesson in customer service. We order two large drinks, but they served medium and when we asked about the error the guy responded “That’s a 20 oz. drink.” We pointed out the sign states large is 32 oz. He simply walked away and left the cashier to figure things out. Price vs portion was sad. Will not be returning or recommending.
Cute little place, but line was very long on a Saturday afternoon because there was only one person working. He had to take an order, ring up the customer, then make the drink before taking the next customer. We got ab iced white mocha & it was decent
We had a lavender honey milkshake that was to die for!
Wow- they should hire some new employees that actually have good social skills! I went in to buy ice cream- asked for samples & tried 3 flavors- one was horribly freezer burned and the other two weren't good! So I asked to try one more to make sure I got a flavor i actually liked. The employee rudely says 'No more samples.' Really? Alright- not buying ice cream from here!! There was no one in line, no one waiting, and he clearly wasn't doing anything else.
Even with a long line we were served quickly and the ice cream was delicious!
Ice cream is always great. Location is fun. Employees lately havent been very enthusiastic.
Caramel apple cider on a cold snowy day, tiramisu to make your day better and strawberry cheesecake ice cream to make you and your kids happy
We bumped into this place on accident and we're starving so everything they had to offer sounded delicious. It didn't look like much from the outside but once you step in you realize how much is really in there! They've got a cafe on one side and an ice cream parlor on the other. We didn't try any ice cream but their crepes and breakfast items were tasty and filled us up. We also picked up some very unique, funny coffee mugs for gifts as well!
Cute shop! My sisters and I popped in and enjoyed the corny and cute sayings/puns on their merchandise, but it ended there. While waiting in line the staff seemed a little stressed and frustrated which I understood (being a waitress I know things can get), so we decided to order everything to together to make it easier on them: 2 desserts, a water, and a coffee. The lady looked really confused when I ordered a blended hazelnut mocha with an extra shot, so I repeated the order nicely. I tipped them 20% which I regret, first I was brought the wrong coffee, no big deal "I'm sorry these ones aren't mine," I said. The woman seeming rather annoyed by this is what got me and came back with my 'iced' mocha not blended. Oh well, we had to get back within a half hour. Once I got outside and tasted it it was tlby far the worst tasting coffee/mocha I have ever had. Absolutely terrible and terrible service, and I didn't have time to get a new one. Won't be going back again.
Just not a good experience. The food and drink we did get were good, waited about 10 minutes to be told they didnt have an item available and did not know about any of the items on their menu. Under prepared and under staffed.
A huge selection of ice cream flavor, and milkshake. A very popular place, the ice cream line could be long ... Sometimes way out to the street. They have seating at front of the store and in the back of the store.
Yummy coffee at a reasonable price
Half coffee shop, half ice cream shop but has dairy free, organic, certified fair trade coffees, espressos, latte, and gluten free pastries and corn bread. Turkey chili is YUM!! Yogurt parfaits, healthy deli sandwiches, fruit cups, juices, acai bowls, fruit smoothies, and vegan options are offered. And, ice cream shop has waffles, cones, sundaes too. All YUM! Happy many healthy options available.
Fun store full of unique gifts and the crepes are great!
Ok I really love love loved the ice cream the place was just so cool. The customer service was great. We all loved it.
The only place in walking distance I found in Park City that sold stuff like toothpaste. That alone warrants a 5 star for me. Oh and their ice cream is great too
One of a kind ice cream and coffee parlor with cow theme throughout. Located on Main Street in park city hints at how busy it can be sometimes. Family friendly.
If you like long lines purposely routed through cheap novelty gift shops, and overly priced ice cream served by 12 year old kids, have I got a treat for you! I do give them credit for having large gauge straws in their milkshakes. But that's about it. The same kid handed is our milkshakes and asked my wife if she wanted whipped cream in hers, and then handed me the EXACT SAME THING and didn't ask. #consistency
Stopped in and got some ice cream. Fun place.
The food was amazing, and I really enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere. They served very good creps, and their employees were cheerful.
Good ice cream but the servers need to improve their hygiene. One guy was combing his hair with his fingers, his friend sneezed in his hands and both didn't wash their hands afterwards and served ice cream. Pretty gross!
Amazing ice cream! Been going here for years. Had Honey Lavender yesterday. With real Lavender Oil and real Honey! Beautiful stop on Park City Main Street!
It’s not really good.
Delicious ice
The ice cream was not that good. Lots of fun T-shirts and stuff.
Reasonable prices for the location and good ice cream. Parking is hard to find.
Great variety of icecream flavors
My son LOVES the ice cream here, we get it almost everyday we're here
Is a good place to drink coffe with family and friends
Good ice cream, attentive staff, and a sunny day! Thanks.
Great ice cream and cones! Highly recommend the java chip.
I ordered apple pie crepes, just don’t remember what written on board all. But obtained just crepes without taste with apple, spicy and powder sugar. No pralines, no whipped cream, no caramel. Waste of money, never more here.
Really liked the ice cream though I was surprised one waffle cone scoop cost over $6. Sheesh.
Java Cow is virtual landmark in Park City. A fine selection of ice cream and now with a good coffee bar as well. The whole family will enjoy... and strolling down main street with a coffee our ice cream cone is about as good as it gets.
Caramel macchiato was so tasty. I'd go back to Park City (I live in San Diego) just for this coffee. Loved their gifts as well.
Lines can get really long, especially during ski season. Good ice cream and a wide variety of flavors. A favorite with my fifth grader
Love the dairy free options!
Excellent ice cream and waffle cones! Fun little place with lots of nick knacks for sale and some SLC Olympics stuff on display. I really loved the lavender honey ice cream, highly recommend!
The staff doesn't care at all, very disappointing
Great. Moderately priced, friendly staff. We had the Crepes and Amercanos.
This place is slammed everytime I've been there. The food and coffee drinks are always tasty but seating is at a premium. They also have seating in the rear area of the shop. Highly Recommended.
Cute little place, awesome selection of pastries, soups and treats! Coffee select is great. Busy but worth it!
Love this place. Open late. Amazing ice cream. Probably the best pralines and cream I’ve ever had. It’s a must for any trip to park city. Head there after dinner or for a break from a bar crawl. You won’t be disappointed. P.S. I love the cow ducts on the ceiling. Fun place.
Many great flavors. Asked a local which ice cream place in park city was the best and they said this one. Was not disappointed. They even have vegan friendly coconut based ice cream , which is surprisingly really good. Dont miss it if you are in park city. Right on main street.
Small coffee parlor. Just a couple of tables to sit. Good pastry selection. The coffee is tasty and there's a big variety. Overpriced though. Convenient just to grab a drink or a quick snack. They have a souvenir shop and ice cream venue.
Stale biscotti and pretty bad coffee. Ordered flat white, it tasted like a latte and they gave the cup half full. Not coming back.
We had ice cream only. It was good, but very overpriced. I guess that's what you get in a tourist town. The souvenirs were fun - lots of variety.
Adorable coffee shop in a great location among the downtown shops. Great frozen drinks and pastries. They also have bagels, crepes, and ice cream. Great atmosphere. A but pricy but comparable to other park city shops. I recommend going for brunch to have less of a crowd!
We love the old town feel. It's a cramped, but fun place to visit. The ice cream is top notch and the tables are almost always clean. The cost is a bit more than I would pay at home, but I am not at home. I am in Park City, so relax and get yourself some ice cream.
Fun little shop with fantastic freshly made crepes. We ordered one savory and two different sweet crepes for 4 of us to try. The portions are huge and the fillings are delicious. They can get quite busy so there is often a wait but it's well worth it to us.
Java cow is on the main Street of Park City. They serve good coffee, some pastries and ice cream - a good variety of it. They also sell a lot of ice cream flavors which people love to order. There's no parking on this street but there is available parking at the back.
Really didn't enjoy much here. The atmosphere is cool but that's about it. Ice cream is decent, but not worth the cost. Place was dirty, expensive and portion sizes are small at best. My recommendation? Go to your local grocery store, buy a 2 quart carton of Tillamook ice cream and enjoy probably 20 scoops for less than it costs for 2 spoon size scoops here. After tax was $6.50 for 2 scoops.
THE ICECREAM WAS AMAZING and the atmosphere was super cute.
Love this place. Have been coming here since I was 5.
Great place to go and get some ice cream! The line does build up fast and the wait can take forever!
We really enjoy going to Park City Main street just for ice cream at this place. Limited selection but really good stuff!
Mediocre food, coffee was just okay. Over priced.
Tasty ice cream! Sammy dees was great!
Great customer service. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were so dry that it was a choking hazard. Gross! We drove all the way from Layton just to visit Java Cow. Huge Disappointment, but I had fun with the kids anyway.
Very cool shop right in the middle of the shopping area of Park City. This place has coffee and ice cream as well as a large selection of very interesting items. The kids will love it. They have a nice little area to sit and eat your ice cream. There is a TV and a cow to keep you company while you enjoy your treat.
The food was delicious. The ice cream was well worth the wait. I suggest the milkshake.
Java Cow has so many fantastic treats, it is difficult to choose! I love their housemade eclairs, honey lavender ice cream and the walking waffles.
Lavender-Honey Ice cream was delicious and the boys behind the counter were very friendly and efficient. The business is very cluttered and makes the place look dirty. Too much unnecessary merchandise that has nothing to do with the brand. More seating and intentional merchandising could grow this business.
Cute little ice cream shop. There's a bunch of different flavors and they're all pretty good. It does seem to be pretty pricey for what you get but the environment and the ice cream itself makes it somewhat worth the experience.
Great little shop right on Main Street. Really good coffee and pastries. It was 20 degrees out,so I didn't have the ice cream. ;o)
For those who are into the art world, one of Bansky's pieces is preserved on the side of the building! How awesome. Oh and great little spot.
Didn't eat here just checked it out
Lots of ice cream flavors, java bar and many nick nacks for the kids.
Great ice cream! Decent pricing as far as Park City goes.
Theres plenty of paid and some street parking in the area. this place is located at the feet of a ski resort and at the epicenter of a commerce neighborhood. People either come here for the ski, the commerce or both! to the mountain in the morning and have some lunch doing some retail therapy! we came in and the staff was friendly, theres plenty to see in here, they have gifts and moments of the town, as well as coffee, pastries and some amazing ice cream flavors. The staff is friendly but be aware that there is not that much sitting here, so it is like a grab and go kind of place since there are perhaps 2 tables inside and a bench outside. Honey lavender- amazing flowery sweetness, I loved the texture and the flavor of the ice cream. The cone was pretty nice tasting as well, this honey lavender is scoop hit the spot for sure. 5 dollar small one scoop cone, that is a great price for the favor and the experience if you are around go for lunch and then come here for desert and coffee you will love it.
Place was good and had a lot of selections. I went over to the Java part of the store and ordered a plain waffle and had them cut it in half. I waited for the waffel to cool for a few min and then order a scoop (cup)of vanilla ice and made an ice cream sandwich coat me about 10 bucks but I thought it was worth it... told them to add that to the menu.
Good ole’ fashioned Mom and Pop coffee joint. Plenty of souvenirs and bakery goodies. Not a Starbucks by any means, but the coffee is pretty good and fairly priced.
Good coffee!!!! Delicious blue berry bagels with cream cheese.
Delicious coffee and ice cream in the heart of main street. Great for treats and pick me ups!
Great little cow themed Ice cream and coffee shop. I especially appreciated the dairy free coconut milk based and sherbet options. The barista was not able to articulate the difference in flavors of coffee they offered, but she was young and the Aztec dark roast we had was delicious. Specifically the brewed coffee with additional shots was a nice full flavor as compared to an americano I've had at other shops that can taste too watered down. There's plenty of room to sit and cute cow related souvenirs for purchase. I know you know someone who NEEDS cow spot golf balls for Christmas.
Great options for ice cream and other fun snacks. They have a cafe on the other side if you need to satisfy more than your sweet tooth. They offer both cups and cones. Great place to bring the whole family.
it was the best ice cream I have eve had. I should live there
Nice place for coffee and ice cream!
Ice cream was fantastic, but the portions were a little smaller than I'm used to. Staff didn't seem to care if we were there or not, but they were efficient. Definitely worth stopping in.
Wait staff had the personality of a wet rag, so neat place but no personal ambience. Look like good selection, but prices exceed quality. No desire to return.
Great coffee.
Awesome apple cider
Fun experience in Park City for sure
