Service Dog Friendly and handicap accessible. Service Dog owners beware that non service dogs are permitted. Fair prices. Salads are very good quality and even a half salad is a large portion. Music playing is amazing. Furniture is extremely comfortable. Great for a couple or large groups. Opens to bookstore next door. Dog drinking containers front and rear of stores. Restrooms extremely clean. Gift rack section with rare items for sale. Free internet, decent speed. This coffee house gives a feel that big coffee store will never match.

If you're looking for a unique place to sit down and talk for hours, this is your place. They have a large menu of food and drink. The have a fun atmosphere lots of seating. The book store in connected so you could easy buy a book and read it. However sometimes it can be noisy because it is a favor spot of many people.

Love this place, good food and good people. The staff is always so nice and welcoming it's always a pleasure to visit them. Saturday mornings The Grind Coffeehouse is a must for me and my wife. We love the Firehouse Sandwich breakfast sandwich it's so good just the perfect amount of spiciness to wake your taste buds up, Our other favorite is their Waffle with Whip cream and Bananas. If a healthy lunch or dinner is what you are looking for well they got you covered. Their salads are delicious I have tried them all and they are all surprisingly delicious and filling, the Classic Chef is my go to salad it has everything you need. Their Sandwiches are also awesome, I highly recommend the Turkey Chipotle Club and the Sweet and Spicy they are both so good. You get to pick your bread so every time you order them you can have a different take of your favorite sandwich. Soups are perfect on a cold day it comes with a croissant, toast or bagel. They have healthy and not so healthy desert choices my favorite is the Berry Apple Tart. The best way I can describe it is, well have you ever walked in to a store and smelled a candle that smelled so delicious you wish you could eat well this is what this tart is.

I found this awesome spot on a google search when I needed a caffeine stop on my way to Las Vegas. The staff here was so sweet, and the coffee was out of this world. I wish that I could take it back to salt lake with me!! It’s one of the most unique coffee shops I’ve been to with a book store and all kinds of fun art all over the building. This will be a regular stop for me every time I travel south.

I loved the GRIND...it was my go to place for the whole week, while I enjoyed the Shakespeare Festival. I am a very picky eater...must be authentic and real food. They were able to satisfy my food needs...and were willing to make a few adjustments as I requested. Yeah. I am going back for sure (several times over the course of my week) next year.

Good selection of coffees, drinks and treats. Very friendly place with nice ambience. Within walking distance of Southern Utah University and several hotels. Clean restrooms and sufficient parking.

I spent a whole week here when I was in Cedar City. I love this place. The salads are really really big and good. The coffee is great and refills are $0.80. The wifi is not super fast. I had no problem working but it could struggle with video or games. The seating is comfortable and nobody gave me a hard time about spending two or three hours a day here. I really like this spot.

Super cute atmosphere, however the staff was rude. Given the looks and whispering to each other behind the counter I have to wonder if it was my daughters “make America Great Again” hat she was wearing. I thought not much of how short the gal taking my order was, just coughed it up to a bad day, we all have them, but she was very friendly to the person behind me. While we waited for our coffees the brunette with a bun very rudely says to my daughter “can you move” I very badly wanted to ask if there was a problem but refrained, after all just passing through town, will not be stopping here again.

The local coffee shop! Lots of college types hang out here, especially on the weekends. The coffee is good, and the pastries are amazing. It's a great place to get a coffee and catch up on work. The cafe is connected to an indy bookstore, so you can grab a new read and some hot chocolate and settle in a comfortable chair for the afternoon. Service is relatively fast and extremely friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town!

If you're on vacation stop here for breakfast. We drove 35 minutes everyday to get food here. The coffee is good, the smoothies and breakfast sanwiches are top notch. We didn't ever try the lunch menu, but I'm assuming it would keep pace with the breakfast menu. Also they make a bomb waffle. Expect to wait about 5-10 minutes for your food, and you should be able to get out for around $18 with tip. Please tip the staff, don't be an a-hole. They were quick, and friendly.

The Grind has gone up and down in the past year or so. But recently they served me the best waffle I have ever eaten and there has been marked improvements in their coffee which is once again back to the high standard. I always recommend the Grind as it has great atmosphere to relax with friends. You can spend all day in here happily and feel very comfortable.

This place is great. The coffee is ok, but the food is delicious. The vibe is great and it’s the perfect place to knock out some homework or relax after a long day. The potato salad is also pretty good, and I’m pretty picky with potato salad. The sandwiches and soup are also some of my favorites. Over all I’d recommend it if you want a great vibe and a bite to eat.

coffee is fine, but the internet signal is very slow. i reported this to the staff and was met with bad attitudes, to include the older woman(owner, manager?). If you need a good internet signal, try the Starbucks over by WalMart. MUCH Better, and the staff is friendlier without the bad attitudes. edit to respond to response: there was no customer standing there when I reported it. sorry, but your response to me at the store today really rubbed me the wrong way. And the coffee is better too! Sit in a comfy couch and watch a grad student "finish their thesis" or whatever... Bottom line, the treats are great, the coffee is great, and despite the employees looking a bit strange, they are very friendly!

The food and service are great but the wifi is terrible. If you are going for the wifi I would suggest going at a slow time or picking somewhere else. I work from home and I will go here to get out of the house and work. It is a real bummer when I order some food and sit down to work only to find I can't load a single webpage.

One star because it seems like a decent place to sit for a while; one more because there is an attached bookstore. Got a dirty chai and it was sickly sweet and lukewarm. They clearly used the horrible powder used by 7-11, et al in their 'coffee' drinks. How hard is it to make an actual chai, throw a shot in, and let the customer determine the amount of milk and sugar? Just don't bother.

Decaf was decent, WiFi was really good (if it's not, ask them to restart the router). If you like fun atmosphere, this would be a great place for you. If you're looking for a quiet place to work, maybe check out the library.

Typically come in on our way through town while traveling. Cool interior. Attached book shop. Coffee is okay. Usually a little bit of a wait. We've bailed on food after being warned that they have a sandwich hold up of 14 orders.

We've recently started coming here semi-regularly, and we love it. We're not coffee connoisseurs or anything, but the prices and sizes of drinks easily beat Starbucks and the variety is great. They also have a fairly painless customer loyalty program where you get a free drink after 10 purchased, and it's simply tied to your name which you tell the barista whenever you pay for an order. I've also tried a few of their food items and found them quite good; it's nothing fancy or mind-blowing but just good, simple, "home-style" cooking, so to speak.
