I'm giving this place five stars for a vegan restaurant. I'm not vegan and was a little apprehensive. But the food, though I wasn't always sure what I was ordering/eating, was delicious. Not real filling, but I think that's just in the nature of vegan food. The staff were friendly and helpful

Probably my favorite place in Ogden. They serve vegan food, have SUPER nice people working, and it's an overall great place to hangout. I stop in for coffee all the time (cheaper and much better tasting than that mermaid place). Stop in even if you're not vegan, you won't be disappointed.

Yummy, and a nice place to hang out and talk ... but the guy clearing tables was a bit clueless. He couldn't wait for us to be finished and leave before getting us up and moving our table for later on. We were comfy before he interrupted us to shift us around. I found it inappropriate, uncomfortable, unnecessary and odd.

Completely delicious vegan food! I absolutely love that I can walk in and grab a bite to eat with the wonderful comfort of knowing that the whole cafe is friendly to me and friendly to the animals. <3 <3 <3!!!! And the interior design is off the hook.

My girlfriend is vegan, and I am not. Usually when we eat out, I have to lie about enjoying the food. My experience at Cuppa was absolutely outstanding! I had a BLT that was truly delicious! I actually felt energized, and when I took in the incredible food, thoughtful design, helpful staff, and low prices I was flat out impressed! I am always trying to dig out good places for us to eat, and this one meets or exceeds anything in Salt Lake City, for half the price and distance! We will be dining here from now on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was great, it was fast and friendly. We ordered 2 meals (a Buddha bowl and sloppy jack) and they were delicious and different than the regular Ogden fare. I will definitely be coming here again, and often.

Terrific menu. Lots of tea choices, including individual pots. It's all vegan, so don't ask for skim milk. :) Took off one star bc the service wasn't that great. They didn't greet customers at all and just kind of looked at you waiting for an order. If you've read my other reviews you know I don't like in-your-face service. But this was mind boggling. Having a really good menu with lots of food, lots of tea (lose leaf!) and all vegan, it's important to be able to explain items well and make recommendations. They answered a few specific questions but never elaborated or suggested based on what we were talking about.

The place was really cute with plenty of awesome seating and art on the walls. The barista we had didn't seem to be trained well and looked rushed and worried. We asked for two fairly straightforward drinks for most places, but they treated them as complicated and what usually takes most places 5 minutes tops, took this place almost 20. They were nice enough and customers who were there seemed happy, but we didn't leave with the greatest impression.

I like that they're vegan and due to that I come here OFTEN. They have a great section upstairs to eat and play games with friends.. however I wish they would add more seasoning to their dishes and maybe rotate the menu sometimes.. it tends to get a bit boring with the same main menu. A prodigious atmosphere. Came in for the first time to meet a client, and was very impressed with the ambience as well as the food selections. Great customer service, plenty of comfortable seating, and prices were reasonable. I would definately recommend with a 5 ☆ rating.

Really cute shop. Serious management issues. Our barista was definitely new and needed training. He tried twice to make a London fog, and I don't think he knew what it was. No vanilla or lavender in what we received, nor was it Earl grey tea. The iced coffee was out and so I got hot coffee poured directly over ice. The end result was a warm cup of watered down coffee. Management needs to train their baristas. Guy clearly hasn't been given the training needed. Also see the ice cream in the picture. Lol. This experience cost me $10 and 20 minutes and there was no one in front of us in line.

This place is fantastic! The staff is super friendly and engaging, the food is delightful and well priced, and the ambiance is lovely. I also just witnessed the staff picking fresh herbs from outside, near the tables! I was visiting town for a couple of days and found this place based on reviews and ended up coming back the next morning because I was so impressed. My suggestion - just buy one of everything. ;) I had intended to post pictures but I ate it too fast.

Great prices, great atmosphere, kind staff. Vegan places are usually limited in most areas we’ve lived in. Newly moved to Ogden, we searched “vegan” and stumbled upon this gem. Simple menu, great prices, and the staff was kind to answer any questions we had. Food was delish. We ordered bagels and their seasonal charcoal rose waffle. It sounded interesting.. not sure how that would taste. A guest eating overheard me ask the waitress and she piped in saying it was amazing. We ordered, and sure enough. Amazing. We will be back! It’s on the top of my list for my favorite places to eat!

As an Ogden newbie I was hoping to find a health conscious, vegan-leaning restaurant that would be a nice place for a treat, a meal, a lunch date, or business meeting. I found all three here. Cuppa's staff is welcoming, informative, patient, and friendly. Cuppa is such a great place where care and artistry is central to their services. Don't expect a lickity-split fast food pace here. Come, order, stay, enjoy!

The food was pretty good, staff was nice. One thing I would suggest to the owners is to get rid of the leather and animal skin furniture/rugs. If you market yourself as a vegan restaurant this can put off vegan customers. I know I found it disturbing.

Great atmosphere with great coffee. Staff is always helpful and on point. There's awesome art on every wall of the shop, and the lounge upstairs is very laid back with plenty of couch space and even instruments to strum on while you're enjoying Cuppa's awesome concoctions.

The food here is amazing!!! ❤️ I ordered the All Day Breakfast Scramble and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything! Vegan or not you should experience what Cuppa has to offer. The manager Cori is a great and friendly guy who will make you feel very welcomed.

Amazing vegan option in Ogden. Great for breakfast and lunch. My favorite is the breakfast scramble burrito. It can also be ordered as a bowl. There are options for kids like waffles. Salads, sandwiches, tacos, kombucha and even soft serve are available as well as other creative plant-based options. Plus, the vegan donuts are delicious. And bonus, they even have great coffee. The relaxing space has tons of natural light upstairs and downstairs. If you’re eating plant-based, the menu is stress less because everything on it is plant-based. I brought my family here (they are not vegan) and everyone, even the kids, found something they enjoyed.

Vegan options such as Cuppa are what make such a diet enjoyable, at least for me. Rather than being dainty meals, the food was hearty, filling, and delicious. I enjoyed the tofu breakfast burrito, the lemon coconut cream waffles, and the chia pudding. All worth the money. Also, the upstairs is sooooo much better than the coffee shops I've been using to work remotely. But why am I telling you this, now it'll get too crowded.

Vegan coffee shop with much more than coffee. It's surprisingly big inside, with a large upstairs area and plenty of seating. Their menu is really great, lots of good options. We got a breakfast burrito and a veggie burger, plus kombucha and all of it was great. They also have a mini dog park outside so your dog can come play while you hang out.

Going downhill quickly... My husband and I use to come to Cuppa almost every weekend for brunch. We went back for the first time in a few months and the menu had changed so that you get significantly less and pay significantly more. No avocado toast or hummus? To add insult to injury, the workers were rude (insert eye rolls and attitude) It's back to Grounds For Coffee for us!

This is the cutest vegan cafe. If you aren't vegan... still check it out! Everything is fabulous. They have live music all the time, art on the walls, and plants all over. Overall was just unimpressed. I do really like the vibe of the place, but the food took what seemed like forever, and then because there's no speaker upstairs to hear what is being called my friends and I had to spend half the time away from each other checking/waiting on our food. The food itself was underwhelming (everything except for the soup, but even then it could have used a little something still). I eat vegan a lot of the time so it wasn't just that I'm not used to it. They also have a piano for anyone to play which sounds nice, but there were two people being extremely obnoxious with their playing. The donut and ice cream were good, but I'd probably never buy food there again.

Food was awesome; we got the Apple Jack, butternut bisque, beet salad, and street tacos. Both my non-vegan relatives loved it. Unfortunately one of our meals was extremely late. I think we just got unlucky, but they really need to get a better system for their busy times. I absolutely love this place! I love the vegan menu and sweets. It is always clean and I love the atmosphere. The only thing that disappoints is that the food has never came out hot, it’s only been barely “warm.” Idk if it’s how it’s prepped, but the only food I like cold is pizza. I would rate 5 stars if it weren’t for the Cold/warm food. I’ve come since they opened, and will continue to support. Love the WiFi access and seating to do work. Also makes for a great date place so you don’t feel rushed. Another added bonus is the pet area.

A fat vegetarian walks into a vegan cafe.... No this is not the beginning to a bad joke! Rather, it was the start of an amazing experience. I went to Cuppa with a friend who wanted to try a Vegan meal. We had the Sloppy Jacks with salad, she a latte and I a ginger tea. The salad was full of fresh organic veggies with the most amazing in house made dressing! The sloppy Jack was a sloppy Joe with jackfruit instead of meat. The sauce was very mild, but well seasoned, and not overly sweet. The wholewheat bun had a great crunch to it. The latte was perfect, made from well ground beans, and the tea was astounding! Full flavoured and hot. Staff were informative and polite, and the atmosphere is relaxed and well lit. All in all? Perfect!

Food was ok. But here's the real reason for the low score. As my friend and I were eating, the place having plenty of empty and accessible tables around us, a male worker, wearing a stocking hat, told us there had been a large group earlier and he wanted to move the tables back in place, so he did...... Took our table right away and moved it. In my opinion, it could have waited. I could not believe his nerve. We felt unwanted and in his way. Nope, never going back.

I went on a Sunday morning to have coffee with a friend, who recommended this place. I had a great experience.The guy who rung me up wasn't very friendly but the girl at the counter, Jazz, was very nice and welcoming. And even recommended some honey for my coffee. I had such a good experience, i called a few of my vegan friends to go on a different day to try the food. We drove from SLC. On monday evening. It took us 1.5 hrs due to the freeway being closed. So we didn't arrive until 40 min before closing. The cashier was really nice and took our order. My coffee was cold, which i get, Because it was late. I sent it back with the guy bringing us our food. (Which I wasnt upset by it at all.It was understandable.) I didnt ask for anything else or even a refund. I took it as a loss. He apologized for the coffee and mentioned that we showed up late and right before closing time. I told him it was fine and not to worry about it. He brought my food after all my friends had eaten. Which i also didnt mind. Im sure they did their best. I was patient and didnt mention anything about how long it took. But he took it upon himself and apologized for the delay and ,AGAIN, mentioned that we arrived at a bad time because they had already put everything away and we had shown up 40 min before closing. He complained a bit about it and left. I have worked in food before and i understand his frustration. But i thought it was very unprofessional to make those types of comments. Especially since we traveled so far and didnt expect for the freeway to be closed. And in my opinion, it doesnt matter if someone comes in even 10 min before closing. They deserve the same service as a customer who arrives in the morning at the start of the day. Closing is at 9pm and we arrived at 815pm. On the flip side, Im not vegan but i very much enjoyed the street tacos. My three friends enjoyed their guac burgers. I will go back because the food was great and Jazz was so kind to me my first time around. I think i'll just stick to going in the mornings. I would hate for other people who are not as understanding to go here and have a bad experience. It was a young kid so im sure he just needs some customer service do's and don'ts. I was dissapointed and sad that i had a bad experience here. Because it was so good the first time. But hopefully my next visit will make up for this bad experience.

Living and working in the Bountiful, UT area my girlfriend and I don’t find ourselves in Ogden often, but since our first time coming to Cuppa we go out of our way to head north once or twice a month just to come here. I can’t seem to get away from ordering their breakfast scramble burrito. Filled with fresh ingredients and served with a side of the most delicious sauce(some kind of creamy, spicy, relish-y wizardry) I never put it down once I start eating. With a wide variety of hot drinks, juices, and kombucha on tap, you can find a drink for someone of any age. We brought my nephew one morning and he loved his hot chocolate and waffle with hand picked toppings. We have encountered friendly service, a laid back environment, and relaxed low-key music to add to its charming ambiance. The building offers so much natural light, allowing it to be filled with lots of plants, giving it a cozy ‘at home‘ feeling. The loft area has a variety of seating options ranging from tables to couches, walls adorned with local art, and even a full sized piano and area for open mic. Cuppa is most definitely a gem in Ogden, and worth checking out in my opinion. So close to downtown on 25th Street that a walk from the train station is more than do-able. Oh, and by the way, it’s cruelty free and vegan! That was the reason we came the first time, but the menu, atmosphere, and location stand up against any local cafe in the area, and think anyone could find something they love here! CuppaLove

Cuppa is a really chill place. The owners are super cool and aim to make this a place for college students to relax in. Very modern and minimal. They have live music every couple of weeks on Fridays and they also have a game night every Tuesday!

The worst coffee I’ve ever had. I was actually pretty excited to try this place out based on multiple friend recommendations, and am in shock of how disappointing it was. The atmosphere was nice enough, although the employees gave off a pretentious vibe. Waited waayyy too long for them to finish making the coffees in the first place, only to have them give me the wrong thing (hot instead of iced) and have to re-make it. In their defense, they let me sip on the incorrect order while I waited, so that was cool. It tasted super bland, but the correct order was much, much worse. Tasted my husband’s coffee, and it was pretty bad too, but not nearly as bad as either of mine were. Waste of time and money. You can get better coffee literally anywhere else. Second response: Im not sure how that response is relevant. I initially asked for Almond milk (before my husband’s order when he asked for half & half), and it was suggested that I get some other milk with a mocha flavor already instead of adding it. I’m fine with the milk substitutes, I’m fine with unsweetened coffee, and I had no complaints about your vegan-only options. To reiterate, my problem was with an unnecessarily long wait time, and especially with the flavor of all 3 coffees. Again, I’m fine with unsweetened coffee, great with milk subs, but I still expect it to not taste horrible. Also, I’m not going to ask for something different after 1. All three coffees I tasted were already bad and 2. The employees seemed to have a don’t-bother-me attitude. Not sorry for my honest review, and no thanks, I’d rather not return.

This is, by far, my favorite cafe in Ogden. I love the menu, atmosphere, and the staff is always very sweet and thoughtful. Everything is vegan and organic. I always have a vibrant, delicious meal that i feel one hundred percent wonderful about consuming! We need more eateries like this in America. It's a laid back atmosphere, with beautiful green plants, chic artwork and invites individuals to lingure and play [games or music] and have an open conversation. Good place to study or do some work too! My favorite dish is the guac burger and they have a wonderful loose leaf tea selection and great coffee. I don't think I've had something that I do not like or appreciate. They also make their own bread, in house.

The Taco Salad is flavorful and satisfying-the barbeque jack fruit was executed PERFECTLY-it taste like a sweety and fruity pulled pork-literally JUST!! Like pork!! The vegan sauces were luxurious. The peach tea lemonade was definitely a show stopper-lightly sweet without being overly bitter. The Golden Mylk Latte was smooth and spicy-great for my after hike recovery. My friends ordered the matcha and black rose-the black rose was a religious experience! The TBLT was the best BLT I've ever experienced and the peach smoothie bowl was perfectly balanced with natural sweetness and refreshing fruits and nuts. I cannot fathom how this was vegan. It's moderately priced but also 100% worth it for the expertise and generous portions. The atmosphere and set up is also super unique and inviting. Perfect place to give vegan meals a try for those skeptical or unsure!

Wont be coming here again .... The piano totally cures my depression, they told me that I have to pay now if I want to play and they were not nice about it... the customer service here is fake .... They do not care about u or vibe with you like they say ...the staff here is so self centered, the short girl with the curly dark hair is rude ...after I continued to pay for my stuff she basically told me what I could and could not play .... Ok, so I'm a paying customer, I now cannot express myself through music??? ... She was soo rude.. today I've been struggling with depression and she honestly made it worse

I ordered vegetable soup and a kale side salad. Oh and a cake donut. I are the donut first because I was so hungry. It was very good. It seemed like the rest of my food took a bit longer than expected. This place has a friendly, laid back vibe with a modern, sunny atmosphere. PlansP and color and personality. There's a small grassy area for your dog and outdoor seating for you. It's larger than it looks because there's a full upstairs. There kale salad was simple and wonderful. The house mademade dressing coated each piece. It was not overpowering not too subtle. The greens were sprinked with nuts and amazing pomegranate seeds. It was the best kale salad. The soup was think and to me traded like it has mustard on it. Though I are it all I wouldn't order it again. I'd try some of their other soup - they have a few to choose from. This is fresh vegan food and they care about quality. I will be back for more for sure! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I like to eat both ways when I can. Cuppa is next door to a thai place that also has good options. I'm a little jealous that this neighborhood gets these two fast casual healthy restaurants!
