REVIEWS OF Campos Coffee Roastery & Kitchen IN Utah

What a gorgeous and useful space! The interior of this restaurant is honestly amazing. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired, which is a shame because the prices are definitely on the higher end. Our table tried the eggs Benedict, the Muesli, and the pulled pork. Of the three, only the pulled pork was alright. But it still wasn't good. Sad to say, but the other two meals were bad. Probably won't be returning to Campos, unless it's just for coffee. Even then, that is kind of not worth it.

Heythere guy

Had brunch here at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and it was busy but not crazy. Took about 5 minutes to get a table. Food took a little while but worth the wait. Biscuits and gravy and avocado toast were both 10/10. Very reasonable prices most things were around 10-15$ and good portion sizes.

gavin wilkerson

Fantastic and quaint. This building is unique with a really cool mural on the side, perfect for a cool pic. The inside of the restaurant is perfect with a happy atmosphere, lots of natural light and plants every where, despite the greenhouse vibe it is incredibly clean. I can't imagine the food and drug administration have any issues with them. All of the staff is courteous and welcoming. Our food came fast and the coffee was out in an instant. I had the biscuits and gravy, and let me tell you, some one needs to let Grandma she has a competitor! Overall, I was incredibly impressed I definitely recommend!

Jennifer LaBute

Healthy options! Beautifully presented plates. Delicious and carefully handcrafted espresso and tea.

Blaine Schroder

Bummed they don’t have flavors but it’s cool.

Lucas Atencio

Fun restaurant in the heart of Salt Lake. It is a good space with plenty of parking. The meat pie was delicious and a perfect portion size. The coffee was delicious. I especially liked the nitro coffee.

Jessica Marie Wellness

Yummy! I had their poached eggs and espresso. It is a nice hidden establishment located downtown. Our waiter was helpful and gave us good recommendations.

Geovany Campos

The best coffee in salt lake city or maybe in the world

Cindy Surfs

I was so excited to try this place and was hoping for a new regular spot but I would be really hesitant to go back. I got their impossible burger which ended up being nearly $20 and only came with lettuce and pickles. I’ve had the impossible burger before in the Bay Area and it was much cheaper and had way more toppings and better flavor. I even ended up getting a bad stomachache after eating it too. So long story short don’t get the impossible burger from here. They over charge and don’t do it justice. From the looks of it their other food is probably pretty good.

Tristi Snyder

Loved the ugly bird burger. Super good coffee too. Nice place!

Chase Vaseleou

Update: the avo toast has shrunk and I'm on visit 3 and the quality and service has went down each time. Coffee is still amazing but not feeling the love like before. I sat for 20 mins and then went up to the bar to order. Original post: Avocado toast to die for! Amazing coffee that you can drink black and not cringe. I'd say best in state!

Brian Blodgett

Amazing food. Excellent service. I had the ruben... Perfectly toasted sour dough. Thin craut. The fries had a great flavor. Now I gotta go back and try the breakfast. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the aroma was wonderful.

Eric Swanson

Delicious cold brew and pistachio biscotti! Also one of the few places that was open on a Sunday morning in Salt Lake City, so it has that going for it. They also serve more substantial breakfast foods if pastries are not enough for you.

Bret Wardle

Can get really busy during certain parts of the day, but some of the best nitro cold brew downtown!

Austin W

Speedy service, excellent biscuits and gravy!

Hiba zaku

Never fail to impress with delicious food and coffee.

Milli Pichardo

try the green tea. so good.

Nathan Wright

Good service, wonderful atmosphere and one of the best cups of black coffee I've ever had. Loved it.

Daniel McCormick

Salt Lake City has a bizarre amount of top quality coffee, and Campos is pushing this to the edge. There's enough that's good about this place to write a 5 star review aside from the coffee, but if you're serious about coffee, it would be an injustice to skip this spot.

Erica Trittschuh Armitage

Slightly hidden location, but it's a gem. Beautiful light and bright cafe with big windows that open in warm weather. Great separate coffee area with pastries and a larger seating area for those eating in or working.

Caz Bevan

While this is pretty legit for SLC, I have to say as an Aussie coming back to the States after 4+ years in Sydney --- this does not satisfy my Australian standards of coffee or food. But the people are EXTREMELY nice and the sparkling water is free flowing. The tea is amazing even if some of the coffee is not quite Aussie levels of amazing, so for those reasons I give it a 4 instead of a 3.

Marcus Reed-Thorsen

I had a great cappucino but really poor service here. I saw my server once when she took my drink order. I wanted to order food, but never saw her again. I had to pay at the counter in order to leave.

big Al

Wonderful experience... Very clean and pleasant atmosphere, the staff is friendly yet professional and the food was excellent, it was also nice to get a quality cup of coffee at a reasonable price, I love this place .. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast

Jessica Poulson

Awesome coffee, amazing food, legendary service. MUST try if you haven't yet.

kira smith

absolutely cutest place & the employees are so kind && especially the manager hillary!

Charissa Mider

Food and coffee was alright. It wasn’t the best. I would prefer eating Breakfast at Eva’s Bakery or Original Pancake house. The cashier has better customer service skills than servers. The ambiance though is very comfortable and spacious.

Tomas Petr

This place is great! Has a coffee shop feeling, but with all restaurant menu. Stuff is very friendly, not pushy, whish important for me as don't like going to regular restaurant. But to this one, I'll go again! The food is very tasty, cooked from high quality integriens, it doesn't not you feeling of heavy stomach upon finishing it. They let my friend and I still sit and chat way long after we were through our meals, without ordering anything else.

Karen華蓮

The minimalist modern design is great. Overall I felt cashier service was friendlier and welcoming than servers. It was my first time visiting with my friends and the cashier helped us with recommendations and kept a positive attitude. Our experience with the server was all right but his attitude made us feel a little uncomfortable; maybe he wasn't having a good day but still~ Overall I felt content with the food, drinks, place and most of the service. This place is amazing but I hope it doesn't go to waste due to service given that there are other reviews that complain about it.

Zachary Wilkening

Just looking for a good in and out spot, and it wasn’t busy at a decent time. the service was sincere, and the food was delish! Already recommended it to a few friends that like the local business side of cafe’s. Great spot to avoid crowded cafe’s!

Asad Rauf

A solid coffee shop with great atmosphere and good snacks too! Some healthy options available. The mushroom toast was delicious. Parking can be an issue unless it's the weekend. A lot of the staff have fun Aussie accents too!

Antonio Aguilar

The coffee is amazing. Plain and simple.

Mark Keeton

Best coffee in SLC. Great food.

Randy Laub

Great food, atmosphere and service

Cody Bender

The best coffee in SLC. Such a great atmosphere, great food, and the cold brew/nitro brew are to die for.

Olivia Roberts

Pretty pricey but still good atmosphere is nice.

Anna Shelley

Campos is amazing! Whenever I start missing Australia, I make it a point to visit Campos.

Matthew S

Loved it! Poached eggs were perfectly cooked! And the cappuccino was killer

Merry Yen

Bright, airy space, perfect for Sunday brunch. Poached eggs, bacon, and toast were all well made, the hollandaise sauce being the highlight. Service is friendly and prompt. Decent espresso drinks

Lorin Warner

Came in for a visit around lunchtime on the 4th of July and the place was packed, which considering how hidden and off the beaten path it is, is quite amazing. First impression as you walk in is the beautiful buildout and design of an old building that has been given new life. Simply beautiful and extremely satisfying to be in this environment. Staff is unreal, really....we had 5 servers interact with us and an empty plate never lasted more than 45 seconds on the table before it was swooped up. Everyone was super friendly and genuinely kind to our children. Food was flavorful, creative and beautiful. Supper excited to have Campos in the neighborhood!

Walt O

So let me start by saying, I’ve been to every brunch spot in SLC. Campos is amazing, being from New Orleans, I don’t say this lightly

Street Bike Cartel

Food was good, coffee was alright, building is cool. BUT do not go here unless you want to wait for 15 minutes just for a latte to go, and if you dine in, plan for an hour and a half. Well, maybe two hours or more if you don’t persistently ask the server about getting your check. Been three times and have had the same experience all three times, so I’m never going again.

Seth Lamb

I've come here twice this week in my visit to SLC. Within walking distance from the Grand, but also has convenient parking. Both times the staff were super nice. The cappuccinos were perfect. They have a full menu, but the pastries were so good I never tried it. Chocolate croissant was especially good.

Kevin Buehler

Very good coffee, staff is super friendly. Beautiful space and we'll thought out.

Rebecca Rodriguez

There's one barista who's a bit of a pill every time I go, but other than that everyone is really nice and the coffee is always on point! If you love strong, milky espresso drinks, you HAVE to try the piccalo!

Emily Dodson

Such a delicious breakfast!! And excellent coffee, pleasant environment. Definitely can get a little busy/crowded/loud but the food and coffee are worth it!

Pratiti Tagore

Good food, good ambiance. I like white noise when I am working, so a buzz around me is accepted. Decor is good, they have a table with an inbuilt herb bed, I thought that was cool. Food was flavorful, filling, although a little on the pricey side. Two things disappointed me. First, no salt or pepper shakers (if I am looking at a $12 sandwich plus taxes, I would like salt and pepper with my food please!). Second, the parking situation. There are a few '10 minute spots', but no designated parking for Campos. Thus, I parked at a pay-and-park stall, charged me $4. So, price of food + tax + tip + parking = not sure when I will go next!

Derick Harris

The avacado toast with bacon and poached eggs was fantastic. Very large portion.

Makenna Powell

Great coffee and great service!

Nash C

A little piece of Gastronomie in the desert. Actually good food that also doesn't scare the locals. They combine good hearty based goods with an international flair. For example the pastrami sandwich starts with thick slices of bread and a fabulously roasted pastrami, then they top it with kimchi (!), Raclette cheese (

Mark Schaffer

Hands down the best rendition of an eggs Benedict I've ever eaten. It was a special, but if the rest of the food is as good, order anything and rest assured it will be perfect.

Meggie W

Their coffee is very good, VERY GOOD. However, the baristas have an attitude. I went regularly for a time but stopped because the baristas in particular were very uninviting.

Maddie Koch

This is my favorite coffee shop in SLC. Every time I go in on the weekends, the staff seem to remember my name. They have the nicest and most personable staff. Very cozy environment that is on a quiet street in bustling downtown SLC. If you love coffee and haven't been here, you are missing out!

Richard Sant

Tim-Tam shake is to DIE for, and the food was amazing. 10/10

Seth Herbert

Baristas were super helpful and friendly. Also got some fries that were really good!

R.J. Rossmeisl

Great Roastery, Comfortable setting.

j tedesco

If you cooked something covered in vinegar at 500 degrees in the oven, burned it, dumped out the dish, put water inside the pan, stirred it, poured it in a cup and served it, you would have Campos Coffee. It was disgusting and expensive $4.50. Ruined my morning. The barista was awesome.

Mitchell Wulfman

Killer nitro. Good eats. Pricey

Renaya Demarest

Had an overall average experience... Pros: The place was very clean and aesthetically pleasing with very kind and friendly staff. Our pastries were phenomenal & although we did not have time to order other food, meals looked delicious. Cons: We arrived during a somewhat busy time, but received rather slow service for only ordering coffee and already made pastries. We received our pastries way before the coffee, and the coffee was very average. The table next to us had ordered prior to our arrival and their order was "lost" in the system--granted the waitress comped their order. It took over 45 min for us to receive our coffee, another 10 to receive about $5 in change, and a busboy dumped the crumbs from our plate into the water.

DJ Spaulding

I enjoyed a ridiculously good lamb sandwich and the best chai latte that i have ever had. I ordered a refill!

Hayden Asselta

So thankful for a high end coffee shop in SLC. Fantastic service, food, coffee, and atmosphere!

Terry O'Daly

Local sourced ingredients, service was above expectations and coffee was great. It was my first time in this morning and I can't wait to go back to try the lunch menu. I had the Country ham and red-eye gravy toast . So will balanced and hearty for a small plate. Already a favorite in the city now.

Timothy Zielicke

Great coffee and friendly staff.

Subrina Mohr

Wish I could give half a star, I never write reviews but this deserves it. FIRST off they charge my card $1,249.54 for brunch that, in my opinion was already overpriced. And had the courtesy to NOT answer the phone (they're open, I checked) so I'm disputing the charge. The food is very whatever, I got the mushroom toast on the house sourdough that comes with goat cheese and bitter greens (no wonder I'm still bitter about it, that stuff's SOUR) it was pretty awful tbh. My sis got the toast Benedict which was way too saucy and the sauce solidified on her plate (GROSS). The place has potential and overall SLC needs more places like this, but the food was disappointing esp for the price and also the whole being charge a THOUSAND dollars. Never coming again.

Heather Berry

Cool atmosphere.

Ericka Monh

I love the variety of coffees you have, I just want to suggest you add more items to your menu and during the warm months add more tables to the terrace in the second floor; the waiting times sometimes are too long

D

Fast and friendly servers. And the food is great!

Joshua M

I was hoping for it to be more similar to original Campos in Australia. Coffee is above average for the US, but it's still not Australia level, especially beyond long blacks. Love that they have sparkling water and serve it without judgment. The food is decidedly morphed into a less healthy version of Australian fare (extra salt, greasy, etc).. but perhaps they're trying to cater to American taste. In summary: If you're from the US, it's good, if you're from elsewhere you'll probably find it average at best.

Matt Pattberg

Excellent food and atmosphere!

Justin Walker

So great to find real coffee in the US!

Zakery Curtis

BEST COFFEE IN SLC. I was completely blown away with this place. The second I walked in I was greeted and helped by the staff. Everyone there was incredibly helpful and happy. As for the place itself, it oozes coolness and class. Would be a great place to hangout, study, or for a date. They also offer full table service and a wide range of food that all sounded delicious. Their prices were surprisingly inexpensive. Most drinks ranged from $2-$4. They roast all their own beans in the same building and the quality and taste of their coffee reflects that. Best coffee I have ever had in SLC hands down. It blew my mind. 10/10, A+, 100%, YES.

Craig Pattberg

Absolutely fantastic. We had three different entrees and everyone was just delicious. Great atmosphere, and great place to take someone special.

Joseph Meyer

Susprised that they would serve iceberg lettuce with their Aussie beef burger. Come on at least use green leaf better yet how about butter lettuce? I'm wondering what kind of melty cheese they use too? The prices are high on everything. I can't imagin the rent for a place in an alley could be to expensive. No parking or very little on a one-way street.

Karl Franz

Good but pricey

Jack Crockett

I did not try their coffee yet. However, the burger I just got there was better than the burgers I've had at Proper or Lucky 13. Also the staff was attentive and friendly. EDIT: I did try the coffee. It was pretty good

Adrian Vande Merwe

Loved it! I could have the Beets 5 Ways everyday. Buy local! Why go to Starbucks? If I'm in a hurry I'd rather get coffee at a gas station than give my money to Howard Schultz.

S.R. Kent

Lovely Lunch Full of Pride! We had a delicious crunchy rice salad, french toast that was like a chocolate cake, hamburger, fries, a delicious assortment of teas...everything was perfect!

Mitchell Gibb

Love this place!! Best service, fantastic eggs benedict & the Tim tam shake is deadly delicious

This was the best meal we had in SLC. Many new American breakfast places often serve inventively looking food but they usually taste mediocre, but not Campos. I took my parents and sister there for breakfast on an early Friday morning around 10 am. We sat down and ordered drinks. Saw the picture of the Coffee Flight online and I must order it. It did not disappoint. My favorite of the three was the Piccolo Affogato, so rich and satisfying. The food we had didn't disappoint either. I had the BLAT, the avocado and the thick cut bacon were definitely the highlights of the dish. The Egg Benedict was served with Speck rather than traditional Canadian bacon, and it definitely had an enhanced rich flavor because of the ham. The Superfood Bowl was also great with fresh berry and a good portion of berry sorbet, which was refreshing. The Shrimp and Grits were rich and flavorful. All in all, it was a great and delightful end to our Utah vacation at Campos before we hopped on the flight to fly back home.

Marianne Stern

I only been there once and I am dying to go back again. Ambiance is great customer service is amazing and nice and the coffee oh my god this coffee is THE BEST I have ever had here in the US

Aragon Pika

Super happy Campos has made its way to SLC. My first visit was today and my expectations were exceeded, the interior is beautiful and my iced latte was great. Look forward to returning.

Jacob Winn

It's a whole new class of coffee shop/restaurant I hereby dub "fine sipping". Legit amazing coffee, great food, wait staff, reeeeeaaaally cool renovation job somewhere that needed it. Big fan.

Steve Summers

Amazing food, delicious coffee, great space. The burger was perfectly cooked with great flavor, excellent bun & trimmings. Fries were perfect. The coffee was so fresh. The banana, granola milkshake was delicious. Great experience.

J

This place is incredible. Visiting Utah from Florida and we were looking for another solid coffee shop, and this exceeded our expectations. Amazing ambiance, incredible selection of coffee and the breakfast was phenomenal! Had the avacado toast with a poached egg. We’ll be back again soon!

Trent Cutler

I thought the whole aesthetic was great. The menu looked good too. The service was slow. We stood there waiting wondering whether we should sit ourselves or wait. I had to ask the woman add the coffee counter if we sit ourselves and she said they’d be happy to sit us. A sign would help. The French toast tasted a bit off. I flipped it over and sure enough, it was just burnt. The bread wasn’t even chewy or good. Just hard and dry. More like plain toast burnt in a pan.

Matt Hancock

As an Australian living in Utah, Campos Cafe has been my 'go to' place in SLC since I was told about it around 6 months ago. The coffee, food and service are (almost) universally excellent. But as a relatively frequent customer, I'd like to give just a tiny amount of honest, somewhat harsh, feedback. After enjoying the 'Full Aussie with Sourdough' breakfast for months, I've found its new presentation....well....how do I say this tactfully?..... inedible. And I'm not a fussy eater. The rest of the menu has always been outstanding. But a once great, Aussie 'big breakfast' dish has now unfortunately been reduced to...dare I say it...an overly sweet, greasy mess of 'Cowboy beans with bacon and mushroom bits, with egg on top'. All the texture and the flavour has been completely lost, with the new 'Full Aussie' about as authentically Australian as a Bloomin' Onion. I love the fact that an Australian cafe has brought outstanding coffee and food to my home state of Utah. But please, please, please. Don't start completely Americanising the menu already.

Nick Brown

Outstanding coffee. Friendly staff. Great lunch. I ate the Winter Duck Confit.

Tyson Williams

Have been there a couple times. Love their hot chocolate!

Hunter Keetch

Very limited parking. My Australian iced coffee was not sweet despite having ice cream in it, but it was pretty and the building was cool. Popular, busy place.

Scott M

Really high quality coffee and food. Awesome service, Fredrik is a great guy! Just a heads up though, parking may be fairly limited.

من داخل امريكا حيدر الموسوي Hayder almusawi

Great that’s all what I can say

Ellis Gentle

Great coffee, great food, great vibe.

E.D. H

I would eat here every day, but it's enough of an indulgence to save for a once-or-twice a week stop. Really good coffee and tea and PHENOMENAL food. Their avocado toast will bring any millennial to a standstill because of its sheer magnitude and deliciousness. The reuben is also a great lunch option. The overall atmosphere is second-to-none, in my opinion; I could spend hours in there sipping on coffee.

Michael Jones

Great coffee and baked goods

Melissa Glover

I generally consider Campos to have the best coffee in SLC. But waiting 30 min for a latte to go is unacceptable. They need to change their service methods or get another espresso machine or busy times. Food is great!

Bert

I give it good marks for it being a nicely decorated space. I'll need to try a few of their other roasts but haven't been a fan of the sour citrus notes in the coffee. Much prefer a more balanced nutty flavor.

Will Young

Great by day, but just made my first night visit. Fantastic. Loved the octopus! Sooo great. Please go here everyone. Utah is lucky to have these guys.

James Yu

Great coffee and great food! They really know their stuff if you want to learn about coffee.

Matthew Munn

Edit: Two Stars My visit on 4/29 was very disappointing. After I was seated, it took a very long time for someone to take my order. I arrived before noon and was given the breakfast menu, but because of the long wait to order, it became noon and breakfast was put away. So I wasn't able to order what I wanted. I ordered a drink and the whipped cream was sour. They apologized and told me that all of the whipped cream was expired and went sour and they would take 50% off the drink. I was ok with that. Then I ordered avocado toast. The avocados used were bad, one avocado chunk even tasted as sour as the whipped cream. When I made it known, I was patronized and told that the avocados tasted fine and that it was the sour whipped cream still on my tongue. It was not the sour whipped cream. I know what bad avocado's taste like and I rinsed my mouth out pretty good after tasting the sour whipped cream. They offered to replace it with something else, but at this point, I had lost my appetite. So they gave me 50% off the avocado toast as well. So basically, I still paid 10 dollars for rotten food as well as being patronized. I visit here frequently and really enjoy the food, but after today, it makes me reconsider. However, I wasn't familiar with any of the employees working there at the time. Where did the quality and friendliness go? Employees that cut corners are not good for business. Best place in SLC. The muesli is super good and I have dreams about the goodness of their iced mochas - 5 stars

Jennifer Frye

Incredibly friendly staff, delicious craft coffee, and delicious breakfast! 11 out of 10!! If I didn't live in Denver I would be here every day.

Dean R

Great coffee and great service !

Paul Skiba

Delicious food. Great coffee. Staff is on point. Over priced.

Amanda Queen

Great presentation! Complements to the chef. Tomato soup and grilled cheese were just the way I like. The bread is the perfect amount of crunchy! Great menu and they are vegan friendly!

Ben Dudley

Best coffee I've had since leaving Australia....

Rugved Likhite

Great place. Good ambience. Amazing coffee. Looks expensive but isn't.

Wilfred S. Denison

I cherished this eatery! The entire air was all around structured and the espresso was tasty. The tender loving care was clear all through the eatery. Administration was mindful and I had an incredible time at this morning meal spot. Everything was likewise spotless and perfect which is constantly refreshing at a spot that handles sustenance. Get the avocado toast, it's astonishing.

Kallen Hatch

Came here with my friend based on a recommendation from one of my Lyft drivers. Originally we came for coffee but we ended up ordering food. The coffee was delicious and came in fun glassware. Mine also came with a paper straw! My friend ordered the Superfood Bowl which was delicious and very refreshing. I ordered the burger with an egg and the Beyond Meat Patty. (So excited they had this option, because I hadn't tried it yet and it was everything I had hoped!) The burger was incredible! The fries were just okay--would have maybe liked seasoning or something on them. This place was very busy (we came in late Saturday morning) but had a great atmosphere. Food didn't take very long. I love the design, very industrial and open. This place is pricy, but we will definitely be coming back again and recommending to others!

Cynthia Callahan

Awesome coffee! Unique location. Locals spot

Samantha Cook

The atmosphere of this restaurant is so cute. They have a great variety in terms of menu options, and their coffee is delicious. I have eaten here three times in the last month. My personal favorite is the eggs benedict but you can't go wrong with most items on the menu.

sara day

Campos is now serving dinner and the food is AMAZING. We had the shrimp toast as well as the meat and charcuterie board and both were so tasty and great portions. They will soon have a rooftop patio where you can dine as well. Definitely go check them out for dinner on the weekends!

Ragan Grossman

I love an Indy coffee shop thats not intimidating. At Campos, even home brewers or Starbucks regulars are made to feel "cool enough" with their great atmosphere and service! My hot almond milk latte was made perfectly, and hit the spot in this weird spring weather of snow/rain/hail mix

Maritza Galvan

I love this place! The pancake are delicious

Kara Reisner

Their coffee is always perfect! Their food is pretty good too!

Melissa Johnson

This place is soo good. Great coffee, super friendly staff. Will be coming back.

Theresa Pham

Beautiful atmosphere and excellent coffee. My friend brought me here so we could study in the afternoon but we ended up chatting for hours instead because we were so charmed by the atmosphere and kind staff.

Christie Marinari

Amazing service and great coffee. Very clean and great style space. Definitely coming back to try the food. Everything looks fresh.

Marcos Hernandez

Arguably the best espresso in Utah.

John Samson

A slice of Australiana in the heart of Salt Lake City. For fellow Aussie travelers that miss the taste of a well made coffee, this cafe will fill that need with a well made brew. Also, they have soy milk, nitrobrew, cold brew etc. Trust me, this is the place. Exceptional service is a given.

Oruaroto Idudhe

Nice breakfast spot with good options and great coffee selections.

Jessica Carter

The food was good and the atmosphere was fun. Hidden coffee shop. Only complaints were no one seemed to know if I should seat myself or if there was a host. They were also sending lunch items out of the kitchen at 11:45am and we were told we couldn’t request a lunch menu until 12. That was a little frustrating.

Rad - Rick

Such a great spot, kinda hidden in the alley! Fun, nice place.

fahad aldosari

This place brought my memories when I lived in Sydney, Australia. I was on my way from Boston to LA and I said why not stop for an amazing cup of coffee and yummy brunch. Absolutely worth the drive to salt lake

J Wytaske

Amazing place!! A full service resturant with super friendly staff, amazing food and espresso! The vibe of the place was very clean, modern, and open, with lots of plants and really classy decor. I especially adored their blueberry Danish and their avocado toast was absolutely to die for. I hope that at some point during my stay in salt lake I get to return! Highly recommend any of their espresso drinks or the white tea as well. (Cant quite remember the name of it. Perhaps silver needle? Something like that.)

Maggie Clarke

Whatever you get make sure it has bacon strips. Thick cut and perfectly cooked. The Australian Iced Coffee is pretty awesome. Sleek modern decor. Nice new find in SLC. I will be back often.

Clint McInnes

The most amazing eggs benedict I've ever encountered.

Kyrie Shaw

The coffee is always amazing here. Great vibe and good food.

Ryan Falcon

Australian owned coffee shop in Salt Lake = the best coffee you can find in Salt Lake

Kate Comstock

All I really want to say is that Fred is the bomb dot com. So nice. Thanks, Fred, you’re great. Cori thinks so too.

Richard Lapham

Coffee is good but fan is not strong enough in bathroom. I was eating and kept getting smells from the bathroom at my table. Please fix that!

Harriet Dashnow

This place is awesome! It's a little taste of authentic Australian cafe culture, just like home. The espresso is wonderful, the food is great. Plus they serve babychinos! We had smashed avo and eggs Benedict (

Jenny Brown

I went here once and it was phenomenal. Decided to return with some friends to see the quality had severely declined. Haven't been back.

Jeremiah McCarter

Though service delivery is often discombobulated, attitude, menu/food/drink quality, and atmosphere are 6 star-worthy. Coffee is unmatched in SLC (try a flight if you don't believe me). Superb for brunch.

Peter Hoburg

Great coffee (flat white) and absolutely amazing chicken and waffles!

J Crandall

Coffee was great (cappuccino and latte). Food was "meh". The two breakfast dishes we had were unfortunately rather bland. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and could hardly taste the salmon... let alone a "smoked" flavor. Girlfriend had a breakfast sandwich and her experience was about the same. If you're looking for a coffee shop with great coffee and an upscale ambiance I would definitely recommend Campos... but would likely recommend elsewhere for a bite to eat.

Brandon Feldman

I have found my new favorite place of all time, I would love to give them 10 stars if I could. As a restaurant, as a coffee shop, or as a coffee roaster, Campos had the highest quality of any place we have been to and has now become my favorite stop in Utah. Not only is the decor of the highest quality but the modern industrial feel of the space just made it a great place to hang out and enjoy the experience. Now to the food....we chose to enjoy the biscuits and gravy and the summer shrimp toast. The shrimp toast was incredibly delicious, light and summery, the perfect combination of a salty sourdough with Avacado spread and a sweet peach topping with vinegarette. But the biscuits and gravy, let me tell you, I love biscuits and I'm a big fan of gravy, Campos is without a doubt my number one when it comes to their biscuits. I have never had a biscuit that was more soft and moist on the inside while having a beautifully crisp and buttery crunch on the outside. The gravy was an amazing blend of sausage and spices that created the best flavor I could have imagined. The entire ensemble was simply phenomenal. That's not even getting to how tasty the coffee is, I highly recommend their specialty of the Australian Coffee, it's made with ice cream!!

Ok, so the first time I went here the nitro ice coffee was 10 for 10 and so was the customer service...but I had a much different experiance my second time around. Ordered a nitro coffee (again) and as the barista is filling the cup, I exclaim "oh that looks different than last time" but he proceeds to ignore me so another employee jumps in and tells me it's still the same nitro but sometime they use different amounts of nitrogen so that's why it may look/taste different. So i just pay and walk away but then while I run to the restroom and my wife is still getting her coffee a 3rd employee comes over and ask the two guys (who just helped me) if the nitro brew was messed up and they replied "yes" and then proceeded to fix/replace to nitrogen right in front of us without even offering me a different opinion or a new cup once it was fixed. For a $5 cup of coffee you would expect better service especially when I am openly telling the staff I don't think my coffee is right and they still make no effort to fix issue (until they don't think I am paying attention anymore at least).

The coffee is very very good and they have some talented barristas. It clearly looks like that they put in a lot of effort in providing quality fare. Yet for me somehow, the place feels a little commercial. In my visits I have felt a machine working efficiently rather than a warm human touch; may I dare say the interactions have been cold. Nonetheless that could just be me. It still deserves full rating for its exceptional coffee and attractive food offerings.

I wish there was 6 stars

The atmosphere is so good and fancy interior really lifts up your mood. Came here for Saturday brunch and there were so many people... There are spots for peoples with laptop with plugs. Loved that I could enjoy the cup of excellence with great price!! (I think it was only $6 for a cup of drip coffee) Worth trying it and would like to try other beans later!!

Food is great, coffee is great, atmosphere is great but come here during lunch rush on the weekends, you might end up hating yourself. The Australian coffee isn’t too sweet, just the right amount of strong without overkill, it’s nice to have something different in SLC for once.

Great ambiance and amazing coffee . Coming here back for sure.

They have their niche and that's all authentic classic coffee which is fine and was good enough. But I went for a coffee "treat" because I'd had a particularly rough morning and wanted a coffee that felt like dessert to go with my breakfast. No such coffee was available. Our server was a wait staff goddess though. And a manager or the owner came quick with our check because he had heard we were in a hurry and didn't want us to be hung up waiting for the check. I'd have given it 5 stars if I had been able to have exactly the coffee I had hoped for.

One of my new favorite spots in Salt Lake. Unreal design of the property as well as great food and drinks.

Great selection of coffee, tea, brunch and more...

I loved this restaurant! The whole atmosphere was well designed and the coffee was delicious. The attention to detail was apparent throughout the restaurant. Service was very attentive and I had a great time at this breakfast spot. Everything was also very clean and neat which is always appreciated at a place that handles food. Get the avocado toast, it's amazing.

Great place to grab coffee and something to eat. Highly recommend it!

These guys roast on site and have a great blend and single origin selection including multiple award winners. They have great service and tasty beverages!

Coffee was great though I had to wait for it and ask if it was on the way. They kindly took it off my check. Would not pay 13 dollars again for less than filling avocado toast with poached egg that I could easily make at home. May want to lower the price on that one guys. Wait staff was so slow- first time in a while I have tipped less than 20%. They seemed to be more concerned with chatting and assembling the cutlery/napkin jars even though every table had one. I went to dine by myself and I felt very overlooked. Also certain basics like salt/pepper and sugar with coffee was not provided or asked if I would like it. I will definitely be back for coffee and other menu items that seem a bit more reasonably priced (the aussie burger and tim tam shake seem unique) and hope for better service.

Great coffee, food, service, and layout. Can get some work done at the communal tables, meet someone for lunch, or just grab a coffee to go. Can get a bit loud, but it's a comfortable place to spend time.

Michael Erin Strong

Great food, excellent coffee, sophisticated but comfortable atmosphere, and a caring staff. This is fantastic.

Amazing food, great atmosphere.

Stopped by this place today and had a a nice nostalgic experience, feeding off of the Australian vibe it has. No guarantee you’ll have it, though! They don’t bleed Australia, but their business model definitely reminded me of the down under. Coffee; black; pour overs; I had a special Campos blend of Ethiopian and Geisha (panama). It was excellent! The entire staff was very friendly and personable. The space is still under some light construction, but it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. I wish I would be around to see the finished product (roof area). This company obviously has big plans here, and I think they will do great. I didn’t try any of the food, but from what I observed it seemed to fit the profile of upscale snacks / light lunch items that you would expect from a third wave coffee shop. They definitely have more food options than most; so feel free to stop here for lunch! Being in the third wave coffee market, my criticism is that they only have one bean to offer for a pour over. They say this will change often. I would say after visiting many of the coffee shops there in SLC, they should provide at least 2-3 options. They use a programmable pour over system, do I’d imagine its not a problem to load more than one recipe in the system at a time. I will definitely return when I come back to SLC!

Definitely a favorite. Biscuit and gravy is awesome as is the coffee.

Perfect Aussie cafe. Great food. Reasonable price. Awesome atmosphere

Laura Fletcher

I love the food and the great service!

Collin Myers

I wasn't particularly impressed with their Reuben, especially for the price. Certainly wasn't bad food, however, and the atmosphere is homely and comfortable.

Mindy Forbush

Food and service were fantastic!

Cory Black

The coffee here was really quite exceptional. The food was also very good and I liked that there were a lot of unique options. What I didn't like was the pretentious feel that I got as soon as I walked in the door. For a coffee cafe their drinks and food are definitely top notch but the prices are really REALLY high. I want a coffee shop to have a relaxed feel to it and this place does not do that for me. I feel like they're trying to be fancier than they are to justify their prices.
