Very good!!! The lunch portions are great! I only wish y'all could have child's plates To-Go, I would have one happy little girl at school.
I love the old town feel of this place. Has a old school counter feel. I love the service our server was very attentive. The food was hot and plentiful.
This down home cafe was friendly and warm. The food was wonderful. Pancakes that melt in your mouth. The waffles with melted butter were just the perfect combo of crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. The taco breakfast with hashbrowns, eggs, bacon and cheese all in one shell was a treat.
Just got food from here today. Actually reviewing between chews so I don't forget. Lol, the vibe is like walking into an olllllddd school diner. I loved it! Everyone was really sweet, and my LUNCH omelette is delicious! (Emphasis on lunch, bc I wanted breakfast, so a lunch omelette is genius!) I'm going back to get a full breakfast!
Great breakfast. Lots of locals
Has always been one of best and reasonable, also very friendly, been eating there over 30 year
Good diner comfort food.
Unapologetically old school coffee shop with friendly service and good food.
I love the famous Paris Coffee Shop!! Best place to get some good food, from some good people! Love the old time feel inside!
Breakfast taco was terrific! Also enjoyed the Paris pepper sauce
Home town cooking and feel.
great food and service.. dessert are out of this world..Macrrons are wonderful
This has quickly become my favorite breakfast spot. The french toast tastes like funnel cake to me. Coffee cups are small but the waitstaff are prompt, friendly, and keep the coffee slowing. Great cuts of bacon, country potatoes , and good toast. I highly recommend eating here.
Great food and service.
My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast. I had the breakfast combo and it was a lot of food but very good. They also have turkey bacon available. The staff was very friendly and has a great cafe feeling to the place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing breakfast during the week as they are not open on the weekends!
Excellent food and friendly service. Scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy were all fantastic. Highly recommended and a legendary place to stop while in Fort Worth. It’s where the locals eat.
Great place to eat and have a meeting
My sister and I enjoyed this visit immensely. Great home cooking AND ...... Our grandmother worked at Paris Coffee Shop over 50 yrs ago.
We were out early on a Saturday, hoping to find a good cup of coffee. The snooty coffee shops weren't open yet and we ended up here because we'd searched "coffee" on Google Maps. The coffee was worthless, but we sure got a good helping of watching locals with our inexpensive breakfasts.
This is a Fort Worth favorite and great good home style coming.
What can I - or anyone - say except this: A greasy spoon where Fort Worth history was and is made daily. A landmark in Cowtown where big business and big appetites are settled along with the regular crowd of everyday people wanting a bite of fabulous comfort food. As a young ad exec in the mid-90s, I made my first deal with a client there in a booth over breakfast. I’d be willing to bet that the ghosts of Jim Wright and Doyle Willis, Sr., still frequent the Paris Coffee Shop. It’s a must for both the resident and the visitor.
Great old school dinner! We received excellent service and tasty food.
The best Cafe in Ft. Worth. Pies out of this world.
Good food and fast service
Positively the best home cooking around!!
I had the breakfast combo ($7.20) and small OJ ($2.65) which I will never get again. It was literally about 4 oz. I tried both sausage (patty which was dry over cooked) and the link which didn't have much flavor. Hashbrowns were fried potatoes not shredded. Found a hair on my toast toward the end & it wasn't mine bc I'm bald so...let the waitress know & she barely even apologized. Guess I should've told the manager. Overall, wasn't worth the money I spent
Food and service was good.
I can’t believe they served rotten lettuce, undercooked fish, instant potatoes. I hope I don’t get sick.
1st time and we will now be regulars. Wife and I had a fantastic breakfast and looking forward to trying more items next visit. Fast prep and great service. Eggs cooked perfectly and my wife loved the hash browns.
Food is great every time I go there to eat... The Belgian waffle with whip cream, strawberries and pecans is just the best! Think that's my new fav! The pancakes are just awesome!. Lunch and dinner is great as well. I recommend eating there whenever you go to Fort Worth
The food was good and the service was great. Everyone there seemed very friendly. This is more of an old school cafe. Nothing super fancy here, but that's the way i like it. The dining room is large, windowless, and stuffed with booths and small, square tables. We came early on a Saturday, and when we saw how full the parking lot was, we were afraid there would be a wait. They actually seated us right away and the food came out quickly. You pay your bill at the front and can add on an extra goody before you head off.
Food was good and service was great! The breakfast menu is mostly individual servings that you add together rather than a dish with sides. Very friendly atmosphere! It has a family diner feeling.
I’ve been here twice, and the second time I didn’t even finish my food, it was gross, and because it was closing time our waitress was less than attentive. Anyway, but as I’m checking out I see, “Back the Blue” business cards... um ok... looks like I won’t be supporting PCS no longer. I find it utterly disgusting that a business who employs black people, and has black patrons would have a symbol similar to a white hood inside their business. When you say you “BTB” you’re saying, “Your unarmed killing was justified.” Similar to how whites went on a lunching spree. They believed that was justified too. And for a business to make that political stance let’s me know how fervent you are. But really idk why I should be surprised when dealing with whites.
I went on Tuesday. So I got the Beef Tips and Rice on the Tuesday Specials. My side's were black-eyed peas, and salad with cornbread. The peas were the only thing that was hot. Everything else was cold to warm. The peas were very good. There's not much you can do to mess up a salad so it was good. The cornbread muffins were ok but couldn't get butter to melt into them. The Beef Tips had a strange, dark brown color to them but tasted ok. None of the food had any seasoning in it to my taste. Had coffee - Ok. Also had a piece of chocolate pie with whipped cream instead of the meringue. It was pretty good. Don't think I'll be going back there any time soon.
Service is always good. For me that means they attend to what I need but do not bug me. My coffee was always full. Had breakfast. Few places are better and the price is good.
Great french toast and bacon. Don't actually go for the coffee though...it's just community brand.
If you like an old fashion diner setting this is the place to go! Prices are great and the service is great too.
Been going here for years and they are still very good. The building is dated but, it is definitely ole skool and just plain tasty
Very nice people and great food!
Love the chicken and dumplings they have only on thursdays.
Local institution. Good breakfast and bottomless coffee cup.
The place has a homey feel. The waitress was very sweet, my friend's order was wrong. She happily brought the correct dish, but still the order wasn't as she had requested. My friend and I were on a schedule so she accepted the order without saying anything. The food was hot and fresh. Parking was awful. Given all that I will be willing to go back
There are two Pokestops in the parking lot! The food is absolutely fabulous! The place is a little tight, so wheel chair access is a little iffy, but it is worth the effort to get the food. It is classic comfort food. Yummy!
Great local experience.. food was very food, and the service was even better.
First time here for breakfast. Let me say it was good, and the service super.
Food is usually great but the chicken fried was a little bland today.
The food and atmosphere is great the p rices are too
Really like this place. Everyone is very nice and all kinds of people come here. The club sandwich and salad we got was more than plenty and very tasty! Coffee was great and the kept us filled up!
Great place and good food also nice place for us old guys to meet after 6am bible study
Good home cooked meals.
Great Lunch , awesome employees.
Nice little hole in the wall with good service, I think they use powdered eggs but you get what you pay for
This is the spot!!! I love it everytime I go. Now this last time my waitress I think was a little over extended so she was slow on the refills.
I loved the ambiance and setting. The burrito bowl was pretty good, with a fried shell that was cooked perfectly.
Good good. Great & popular spot in hospital district
Breakfast is my favorite! Great food, great portions, great prices. Did I mention how amazing the people who work there are? I had a pick up order and they were just as attentive as if I was dining in. Great experience. You must enjoy a meal here. Next time I am dining in.
I expected coffee and pastry but this place was so good full course meal breakfast and lunch fast food with slow cook quality I will definitely go back and tell friends and family
Great Little place to eat breakfast. Gets 4 stars because sometimes parking can be a problem
It’s true Fort Worth icon. A throwback to the days of dining out for a good meal at a decent price. Got some great pies.
Great breakfast! Vety attentive staff...keeps your coffee cup full and hot
Great atmosphere, retro great food ,wait staff friendly and fast will return when in downtown area
Great place to have breakfast if you're downtown Fort Worth and you got to eat fast great service
Always good home cooking. Legendary many decades in the same location. No frills, just good, fast food.
Super fast service and very kind staff. The hours are limited, but you could not ask for more out of this local institution. No frills, just good food and good people
What I love about this place is it has the perfect ambiance to relax! I also am satisfied with the service they provide.
First time..but last time..I ordered southern chicken meal..chicken was half done..mash potatoes and tea was the only good thing..$35 and I didn't even get to eat hardly anything on the plate..food had no flavor..fried chicken wasn't crispy at all..
Been a Fort Worth staple for decades. Good home cooked food, friendly staff and nice customers. Been eating there for 20 years.
The best short stack in FTW
What a fun nostalgic piece of Fort Worth history. It's like sitting in grandma's kitchen. Great breakfast. Good coffee. Friendly staff.
Good food right size and good prices
One of the best restaurants in town for home cooked meals. I had eggs, grits, bacon and coffee. everything was as ordered and warm when served. Coffee was hot and kept coming. Pies are baked fresh every day. Fair prices, good meal and friendly servers. Clean, convenient location. Never had a bad experience here.
Great food, exceptional customer service and generous atmosphere.
It’s an iconic landmark in Fort Worth, staff is wonderful and the inside is very nostalgic. Came here for lunch and the food is good, it’s a cafe so that’s the kind of food your getting bit it was all good not a greasy spoon type. I’m going to have to come back and try the breakfast by all the reviews.
The food was ok, but they have a policy that you can't work on your computer there. So... ummm, yeah. Won't be going back. I did try the Chocolate Magrange pie, it was pretty good.
Fort Worth treasure for decades. Everyone needs to eat here. Not fancy, just wonderful.
No nonsense down to business yummy diner breakfast. Our waitress, Kathy, was a sweetheart and even let us sample some almond brittle and egg custard pie. It was tasty but we came for breakfast and we got plenty of it. When she told me they smoke their own brisket for the corned beef hash, I had to try it and I was not disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming back when I need some breakfast in downtown Ft. Worth.
Fun, historic coffee shop filled with old timers. Excellent seating options and a good a.c. Fresh eggs and potatoes, aunt jemima pancakes. Cheese options are feta and american so choose wisely. Great place to meet up with an old friend.
Consistent good cafe food. I had a BLT and Chocolate pie. The meringue on the pie was impeccable!!! The BLT was perfect. If you want a classic coffee shop Paris is your place!
Great food and even better service.
Very good breakfast. And wonderful wait staff.
Chicken and dumplings are like what mom made I will remember to go back on next Thursday.
Fort Worth standard for breakfast or lunch. Any breakfast is great. Old time diner. Nothing fancy but solid good food and service
Mike has fantastic old fashioned home style food! Love the pies!! The best are the chocolate pie and the coconut pie. And the buttermilk. Okay, they are all great!!
Great serve with a smile. Wonderful food as well
Great spot for Breakfast, lunch. It's a staple in South Fort Worth, famous for it's pies, cinnamon rolls!!
Cleveland he cooks all the food & pies such a good place to get a home cooked meal must stop by in breakfast are lunch opens 6-2:30
Had breakfast for the 1st time here. We were injoying the good home cooked meal. When we were done my husband ordered more coffee and 2 peach pies, just injoying ourselves and the food. When we were done and my husband asked for a refill of coffee the waitress made a comment that we had to leave to make room for the lunch rush our. I was disappointed , my husband and i were really enjoying our conversation ,enjoying drinking our coffee. There's no point having great food when you have employees that push the customers away..
Great atmosphere. If you want to go to a family diner, this is the place to go. Great service, great food, lots of selection. I highly recommend it.
The food was good even though the server told me that the enchiladas that I was getting were suppose to be beef. I started eatting them and they were not beef they were cheese. I kept my mouth shut because I did not want to cause a fuss. They were still good but when your told you will be getting beef and you get cheese that is a big difference. She could of told me that they were going to be cheese and I would of ordered something else. I do not like cheese. But I was hungry and I was already there and had eatten my salad that they brought out first. So for no other reason I did not give as big of a tip as I was going to give. I do not know if it was just my server but you had to ask for everything. More tea, extra napkins and that you wanted pie and to go containers. That still did not take away from the food. It was still fast fresh hot food, and cold sweet tea. I also did not have to wait to be seated and I got there at 12 on the dot.
This is a staple in Fort Worth. Upon visiting, you may ask why. It's a rundown spot, and staff has been there since it opened. These aren't bad things, I actually really enjoy the dive, hole-in-the-wall experience. The service is attentive, and the food is reliable. For the price, it's nearly perfect.
IV always loved Paris coffee shop, it's a must see if never been there
Always a true delight. Quick service good food and fantastic service. Their pies can't be beat.
This is the best place! Have been eating here for 20 years
Thank you Google for taking us here. Had a great meal and enjoyed the setting. Very accommodating for young kiddos. Bathroom is great. Gene would approve.
Of course very good. Also always very busy, sometimes a slight wait to be seated. Food is good, service great and good prices.
The 1st waitress had a attitude because I needed to change tables. The table was close to the door and it was cold outside. She was about to place my drink on the table and after my request she took the drink away. The second waitress had a much better attitude. She assisted me with the various meal options. The food was okay.
Super fast service. Food was good.
Absolutely amazing food and service. Hashbrowns were done right and eggs were perfect. Will definatly be coming here on a regular basis.
Great place! Definitely worth a try, or ten
Wonderful diner with plate lunches, sandwiches, hamburgers, vegetables for reasonable prices. Casual, friendly. Parking a little lacking but we found a place noonish on a Thursday.
Omelet was runny in the middle. Coffee and toast were perfect. Waitress was courteous but didn't bother to verbally check with me about food til I was done.
The staff was great, food was delicious. Seriously the best French toast ever!!
Very good food and friendly wait staff
I know I said this before but they have the best French toast
Great service Good food
Food was great, prices ok.Customer Service not the best.
amazing place ! Nice service !
The best place in Ft. Worth for breakfast. Get there early or you'll have to wait in line for a seat.
Had a veggie omelet, biscuit, gravy and coffee. The omelet was okay, biscuit good and gravy okay. Sampled their French toast which was the best thing at our table. Would recommend the French Toast. Was not as good as their rating of best breakfast in Ft. Worth.
Excellent food, excellent prices and great staff!
This diner takes me back to the days I ate breakfast with my father over the years. Nothing better than a greasy spoon diner where the old timers continue to frequent. Food was great and so was the service, it’s great to see these establishments still weather the storm of the franchise diners and restaurants. Thanks
Very good breakfast. Typical old school Fort Worth. Where the locals eat...
Best pie in town! Great servers and fast service.
Classic country diner in the heart of Ft Worth.
Delicious food and comforting vibes. Warm and super friendly servers.
Their waffles are AMAZING!
Pick a decade - 1960, 1970, 1980, 2010 - you can easily envision yourself there at the Paris Coffee Shop, a Fort Worth icon. Friendly waitresses, comfort food, roomy booths, lots of chatter!
Really great food for the prices. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Paris Coffee Shop is one of the few remaining family owned historic restaurants in Fort Worth. The owner is a great guy, and is passionate about providing a great dining experience to his customers. Quaint and cozy. Service and food are wonderful. Go and have breakfast or lunch, you'll love it and will go again and again. :)
Eggs were great, bacon cooked perfect biscuits like my mama used to make!..
Good food and service. Loved my grits, not watery
Wonderful service and food. We even bought some of their signature seasoning and hot sauce. It was a great find for us...can’t wait to go back.
Great food and service. A keeper.
Like stepping back in time. An old diner with deep Ft Worth history! Great breakfast!! Great price! Waitstaff very friendly. Lots of booths and tables but of you really want to do it like the good ol days, you can sot at the counter. Very nostalgic. If you like pie..... They got plenty! Serving at least 6-7 different pie flavors at any given time!!! Parking is a little tricky during peak times. Gotta park in the back. But walking is goos for ya!!
Blue Plate Specials, Sweet Tea and Pie, need I say more?
Cozy little place with some great breakfast options. Was surprised to see the place packed on a weekday morning. Quick and courteous service, reasonably priced and great coffee!
Good food and service. The breakfast was on point with the homemade biscuits and gravy. Older establishment but clean and wait staff were friendly. Parking was cramped and small so you may have to walk a little if no spots are available.
Excellent food (Southern comfort) service superb price was negligible.
They have great coffee and the eggs & sausage were great this morning. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very polite. And they won't let your coffee reach the bottom of the cup! Great place, been here forever, but my first time stopping in but will not be my last!
Great breakfast with wonderful service
The food is delicious and the prices are super reasonable. The staff know my beverage of choice as well as my order everytime i come for breakfast!!! I love this place!! ❤❤❤❤
It was my first time. Food was hot and fresh and their service is top notch!
Great cafe with awesome breakfast, outstanding service, and some very cool historic photos on the wall.
Good old cafe. Friendly staff and great food
Been going here since I was a kid. Always great food and service.
Good food and service, consistently. Must be why I've been a customer for 30+ years.
Old school scratch cooking and baking. Great spot for breakfast. The food is delicious and a tremendous value. I really like their cornbeef hash, which is amazing. Service is very fast and friendly as well. Nothing at all nice about the location or decor, but somehow it still adds to the experience.
Been here a couple of times. Food has been very good each time. The pies are great too. Great waitresses and always busy
Dad has known the owner since was a kid ...so we like to eat here a lot on our daddy-daughter lunches.
Stale chips, asked for well done egg, was runny....and sode was flat....girl at the front desk tried to warn us we should have listened...
Food and service were great! However, I poured half of a creamer into my coffee and set the unused half to the side of the table. About 5 minutes later I happened to look over and saw a small cockroach halfway in the creamer drinking from it. I flicked it into the creamer, and told the waitress. She apologized and removed it from the table.
Wonderful caring staff and food
Always have a great time here. My 9 year old little girl loves the blue barstools the food and service are always great.
LOVE LOVE LOVE PARIS COFFEE SHOP I'm 79 and have been going since I was in my teens...It continues in part because a lot of customers started with parents or G.Parents...PLUS....the good good food and bottomless coffee cup.
The food and staff here are all awesome. Cool place.
Went for a team breakfast. Kinda feels like taking a step back in time and would recommend as a unique experience. Not Michelin star cuisine, but food, atmosphere, price and service are well worth the visit. Will definitely be back, something about it and looking forward to try more on the menu.
There is a reason why this place has been around for ever. And it's not just because of the great food either. This staff is by far the best, hand picked and know your name!
1/11/19 Update: After eating here a bit more, it seems that the portion sizes are a bit smaller and the ingredients have been changed up a bit. I originally rated 5 stars but unfortunately not quite as good as before. Original Review: Love the Paris Coffee Shop. We go here 2-3 times a week for breakfast. I kid you not, from the time we order, to the time we receive our food is consistently no more than 5 mins. The food is not gourmet, but it feels like a home cooked breakfast, and it is a damn good one. The staff is also very friendly and efficient.
1st time ever eating here, lived in Fort Worth my entire life (41 yrs). Enjoyed the ol time ambiance kinda took you back in time. Food was okay kinda a cafeteria style taste. Had a weird experience with waitress left feeling like we were singled out. Wasn't really missing much not have eaten there before. I might stop by again one day hopefully have a better experience.
Great breakfast and lunch options. Staff was quick and knowledgeable. Easy to find easy on the wallet.
Fort Worth staple it's old school but you can always count on the breakfast being good and the pie being tasty and the coffee is always good in hot!
Good food, service at a reasonable price
There is a reason this place is packed on Saturday mornings! Great food and a lively atmosphere. We'll be back!
Good food and reasonable prices.
Lovely place to have breakfast
Loved the food and the service
Good food Great service!
Excellent food and staff
