I was so excited to go to this place. I can't stand when employees act like its annoying when someone walks in....& when both female & male employees act like it's a bother to pour some iced coffee in a cup & a hassle to serve customers. Not a good look. Coffee was good so that's what 2 stars are for. Just because this place looks Creative & colorful doesn't mean it's cool! It's not.

Another great idea on the island. Very unique setup. Well worth the visit just to see the building. Beside the building the coffees and asorted drinks are not of the typical chains and quite refreshing. The place is usually slammed with folks enjoying the day but the service does a nice job of keeping up. The prices are in the typical range. Try it, you’ll like it.

My daughter and I were so excited to try this colorful shipping container, locally owned coffee spot. But, the baristas were super rude and refused to make me the sime drink I always have--- an iced Americano... They told me they can only do cold brew iced and not shots of espresso on ice. Booo...

This is by far the cutest coffee shop around. It reminds me a the tv show "friends" the coffee is awesome and the edibles are even better. The staff are sweet and everyone that comes there are great as well. Its a local coffee shop run and owned by locals with the passion to make coffee and friends for a long time. Please go there and enjoy all that Padre island has to offer.

Island Joe’s is a great addition to North Padre Island. I’ve been coming here ever since their first location. They have great coffee, eats, smoothies and consistently friendly service. I finally had w chance to come to the new location, where they built it from multiple storage containers. Not only does it look cool, it is very unique! They even have rooms upstairs for rent. I’ve always preferred local over chains and Island Joe’s is proof why local is better.

Neat little spot to enjoy some simple or fancy beverages. Topo Chai is delicious and the BEST cinnamon rolls ever!!!! Will def be back! Remember to address your customers as soon as possible ;) one guy said hi but then they all ignored me for a good minute, and they weren't that busy.

Artsy vibe! Such a fun place to meet friends. Lots of little nooks to sit and read or talk. Coffee is good. I had a dirty chai, which was just right- not too sweet. Chicken caprese was very good. Can't wait for a warmer day to sit outside. I think it's a fabulous addition to the island. Wish it was bigger.

Coffee is good. But they are not delivering any customer service. I tip them every time I come anywhere from 0.75 cents to $1.50. One time I come in the morning WITHOUT a wallet and they can’t give me a complimentary cup of coffee! Lol! 4 people working there failed miserably at customer service! They just lost more than $200 in tips per year over a $4 cup of coffee! Resume: drink your coffee and save you tips for businesses that know how to earn it!

The coffee is wonderful both iced & hot. We also ate lunch-my husband had a Greek salad & I had the chicken with salad instead of on bread. They were very accommodating about changing my order to what I wanted. Also they sell bkst items inc protein balls that were delicious. Besides being unique cuz it is made from shipping containers, the interior color scheme & decoration comes from either the Dimond Republic or Haiti where they saw a shack with all different colored wood. They have a pic of the shack & used it as their theme. All different ages were there to include us older folks & those studying for their college classes. There is a courtyard area & upstairs outside area to use when weather permits. It is one of our must visit places each time we go to the beach. Very friendly staff as well. Highly recommend it. They also send a percentage of their proceeds to the place that have them the inspiration. I was told their donations feed approx 200 people per day. Paying it forward!

I visited my best friend in Corpus Christi not too long ago and she took me to her favorite coffee place, Island Joes. Coffee is very dear to me, one of my great loves and this place was everything! I would be going here daily like I do my own Durango Joe's here in SW CO. They make fresh syrups and don't make it too sweet and the prices are great. I had a Pecan Cinnamon Breve Latte and then another.

Very cool new place with great coffee and food. The cucumber dill toast and the hummus is a must. They also have a drink called the Topo-chai which is a cold chai and topo-Chico and it’s amazing if you like both of those. There does appear to be an outdoor patio but I haven’t used it since it’s been pretty warm out. Indoor there is ample comfortable seating for getting some work done while you eat.

I wish this place was closer to where I live, because I love it so much! Quality coffee and drinks here made with care. Sea Turtle frappuccino is awesome in my opinion and they have a nice, little variety of homemade snacks. Great, comfortable, stylish inside seating, and outside seating (lower and second level). I also wish they were open later (at least on the weekends) so we could have our group meetings in their upstairs conference rooms! Even if this place is not close to you, you've gotta check it out... it's worth the drive!

Super interesting building made from shipping containers. The staff was really nice. A bit disappointing that they were out of their bagged, roasted-in-house, whole bean coffee & didn't really know when they might have more. A staff member did manage to rustle me up a bag from somewhere, though. They use hand pressed espresso machines, which I thought was really cool. Impressive photography by the owner throughout. If I lived in the area, I could see myself spending a lot of time here.

The most amazing coffee, roasted on site. In fact, you can watch the process while eating their fantastic frittata. Loved the cold brew coffee! Arty and pleasant setting with gallery quality photos. Nice outside area too. Gets really busy on the weekends, noticed there wasn't quite the care in presentation because of that. For maximum and extraordinary service value, go on a weekday.

I was looking forward to visiting for a couple weeks, I live over 40 mins away. Really friendly staff and awesome building. I asked for easy ice, which when I received my drink it was full of ice and tasted a bit watered down... so I took it back and asked for a different recommendation, payed for a new drink and still disappointed. Spent over $15 for trashed drinks I just left it. But it’s a cool location.

The coffee was ok, but pricey. I was pretty uncomfortable as the place is not terribly straight forward with their coffee choices. I just wanted 2 plain brewed coffees, but I was informed that they don't do a standard brew and they only had enough of the chem-x pour over for one cup. I got an iced coffee so my husband could have the hot. Both were ok. Not great.

$4 for a large regular coffee? I will pay $4 or more for a specialty coffee, but not a regular cup of joe, sorry. Waffle was great as you can customize it anyway you want. It's a very cool artistic place, not very family friendly though which is understandable. The tall blonde with spiky hair needs to take a customer service class. (Maybe she was having a bad day, who knows).

I ordered a Mexican Vanilla Latte and it was very good. It wasn't too long of a wait either despite there being a long line and only one barista. I also ordered a bacon and cheese biscuit with sausage. That was my favorite part. Whoever makes the biscuits - they're absolutely excellent and I can tell they were made with care. I will come back again if I am in the area!

The decor alone gets a 5! Shipping container stackedon top of one another. Colorful and eye catching form the road. Inside they’ve a meticulously designed shop with a great beach vibe but not over the top. They have a menu dedicated to chemex and French press, espresso & Milk, specialty drinks, smoothies, teas and alternatives such as hot coco, Italian sodas and iced barista teas. They offer WiFi and plenty of variantes seating. Tables or couches. Indoor and out.

Interesting site with shipping containers converted to rooms. Colorful and a comfortable atmosphere. Coffees, teas, and other drinks as well as food. Staff is friendly and helpful. A good sized patio. Parking is pretty tight for full size trucks in the front. The back and street is better.

Lovely little coffee shop- only improvement I would say would be to move it to where there is a view and have outdoor seating - it’s in a strip mall so not much of a view but the inside is quaint and adorable. Comfy couches and art to view on the walls. Vibrant colors and very good drink. On the pricey side but what isn’t these days. I had a Rebel Energy Bite that was great along with an iced coffee drink that was great. I’d go back again.

This place is in a good location and the building is really cool. It is built out of shipping containers but the inside is super nice! They make great coffee I ordered a vanilla latte. My friends had a great time, it is a cool place to hangout, especially if it is raining. Food is also pretty good.

Arguably the most sheik coffee shop on the island! Made of old conex containers this place nails the N Padre vibe spot on. Great decor and atmosphere. I only wish I had a place this cool to hang out as a student naval aviator. The coffee is darn good as well. My kids loved the cinnamon rolls too. Highly recommend if you are visiting this side of the island!

What an experience! Honestly, who cares about the parking. There was plenty of curbside parking. The drinks, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the ART are all amazing!!! The best hummus and naan EVER! Also, the bacon jam flatbread and the cucumber dill toast were absolutely DELISH! We will be back plenty of times before we leave!

Island Joe's has built a new facility out of shipping containers. It is a bright and airy space with original Art work, comfortable indoor seating areas ( couches, club chairs, some tables), a bar area to watch the baristas in action, and additional seating in an outdoor courtyard. Specialty coffees such as Island girl and sea turtle are amazing. They offer sandwiches and baked goods. If you are visiting North Padre Island, don't miss this local gem. ( Close to the Schlitterbahn and just past the turn off for Aransas Pass.)
