Ok, now she's done it. The lox puffle is my new favorite breakfast. Though I don't eat breakfast often, I will definitely choose this every time. So you're asking, what's a puffle? It's a waffle wrapped around whatever. In my case, yummy lox, tomato, cucumber, dilly cream cheese and a topping of fresh dill. OMG!!

This is a wonderful friendly place in Wimberley. The kind of place you can easily strike up a conversation with anyone in the place. And Brooke makes some wonderful coffee. I always make up some strange new coffee order, and she is more than willing to make it for me. And she always has a smile to share. I highly recommend this place.

The decor is adorable and cozy and welcoming. I appreciate their willingness to use my reusabes (sandwich bag, coffee cup,etc.) with out making me feel like a weirdo. And everything i have tried( tea,coffee,frittata,panini) has been delicious. Definitely recommend!

Love this place! Great atmosphere and the people who work there are super friendly and attentive. There is free, reliable WiFi. The most important thing and the reason why I come here: The coffee is off the charts yummy. They also offer non-coffee beverages including teas, protein shakes, chai, sodas, etc. If you're in the mood for a nosh they also have delicious sweets and eats. Brooke, the owner has a fabulous design sense and has managed to turn what could easily be a nondescript, boring space into something cozy, inviting and sweet. They also have a space upstairs that can be used for large groups, Go check it out. Support local.

Nearly-carbon-neutral Brooke is a woman of many talents. Carpenter, artist, mother of 3, environmental activist, and most recently barista and owner of Cactus Coffee Shop. The colorful vibrant decor is a fun modern take on a rough-and-tumble theme. In addition to excellent drink options (more on that later), cactus also has tons of awesome gifts and unique t-shirts. Cactus also offers small bites like sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and non-coffee beverages. Now to the coffee: the menu is large. Plenty of the expected classics as well as some unique options only available here. Cactus offers regular milk, soy, almond, and coconut. They also have add-ons like protein, and probiotic as well as many flavor syrups. If you're headed into town or leaving for San Marcos stop by Cactus for a pick-me-up. They're one of the only coffee options with a drive through!

As a LEO in the local area sometimes it is difficult for us to get back to Wimberley or San Marcos when we are out on patrol to get a cup of coffee. This is convenient to be in the middle. You won't get a better cup of coffee out in the rural area of Hays County.

Great selection of drinks, friendly, interested owner with a serious creative commitment to the environment (close to a zero waste operation).
