Really good food, especially the desserts. I think of it more as a restaurant than a coffee shop, but they do make a good cup of coffee.

Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly people. The chef does a great job of preparing a variety of great dishes every day and if you like breakfast, he serves breakfast food all day on Saturday. They are not, however, open for dinner. Oh, BTW, it is a coffee shop too.

If you’re passing through Shelbyville, you absolutely have to stop at this fantastic place! I came in this morning for a cup of coffee and I’m so glad I did! Lots of coffee options as well as food and pastries. Everything is homemade and fresh! Most importantly, the staff is AMAZING!! Great food, great coffee, and great people!!

Coffee, Food and Fellowship. This is a great place for a quiet cup of coffee and excellent food. But, each time I visit, I notice that people dine and drink with friends here. There is usually laughter and sometimes tears. It seems that The Coffee Break has created an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to be who they really are when they're not at home. This place isn't just in the community, it IS the community.

I can't wait to bring my kiddos here! I had a frappe and it was the best in the area (I've tried several coffee shops). I did not eat here, although the food I saw looked amazing. I'll eat next time.

They always have four or five drip brewed coffee types/flavors ready for self-serve and unlimited refills. The quiche is amazing, and they even cater. If you're into espresso drinks, they've got you covered there, too. The Coffee Break is open for breakfast and lunch.

The Coffee Break’s Maple Nut Crunch coffee is one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a while! I also sampled their lunch special which was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and a biscuit. All of it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone who is in Shelbyville and is looking for a good place for breakfast, lunch, or just a good cup of coffee!

This is by far the best coffee place in town its been around longer the food treats and coffee are legit waaayyy better than Starbucks id have to say the conolis are amazing!! my wife just loves it here its a great place to sit and relax read a book for a bit outside or inside employees are always so so so so nice to us when we come in their always so kind

Quaint coffee and lunch spot on the Square in Shelbyville! Drove from Murfreesboro just to try the coffee and was not disappointed. The variety offered is good, they offer whole bean or ground local coffees, and have a full lunch menu. Will definitely be back!

The Coffee Break has the best coffee I’ve ever had at a shop that hasn’t gone along with the third wave vibe. Lots of work space and natural light, in a pretty part of town. The best drink, if you’re looking for something on the sweet side, is the Borgia latte. (Dark chocolate and orange :) )
