Really wanted to love this place. The avocado hummus was delicious and my cold brew was good but the employees weren’t very friendly. They were talking so loud to each other and yelling across the store which made it hard for my mom & I to talk. A large family left while we were still sitting and two of the girls kept complaining very loudly that they left a mess and should have cleaned up better. We tried to ignore them but they were just so loud the entire time.

Nice small coffee shop with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. A very open atmosphere for those who want coffee and leave. May not appeal to those who like to linger. Coffee was excellent.

Great local coffee place with warm atmosphere. Friendly staff and good music is always playing. Prices are about like Starbucks or less. Edit: if you get the chance, come eat at the Orchar Mason while he's here, from 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. The "7 minute eggs" are the best eggs I've ever had.

Good coffee in downtown Johnson City. They use Stumptown Beans. Friendly Baristas and plenty of seating including some nice window seating. Americano, Latte (Cold and Hot) and Hot Chocolate are all good... While the pour art is great the shop is not quite Third Wave, but on its way. Great toast options as well as other local based pastries. Parking is a little tricky during certain times of the day, but definitely worth the stop. We enjoyed our visits this summer while in town.

I really enjoy Dos Gatos and have been going there since before their new location. The new location is wonderful and homey feeling. Their sunflower pesto toast is splendid. They have a nice selection of coffee including my favorite, Telos, which is a local coffee roaster. They also were the first place in Johnson City to carry nitro coffee and have a few different options with this. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

My girlfriend and I had tasty coffee and excellent service on our visit! The atmosphere of the shop is perfect for studying or hanging out. Hannah, Becca, and Jill were personable and knowledgable; my girlfriend's marzipan latte was gorgeous and cozy, and my pour over (there was a great selection of whole beans to choose from) was delicious. I will definitely return!!

Love drinking a cup of coffee here. You must try their Nitro. I have never had a better cup of nitro. I have not tried the brunch yet but I have heard the Orchard Mason has fantastic grits. You can park on street or in the parking lot behind the building they have access on both sides.

Favorite place to get coffee in Johnson City. The coffee itself is roasted by one of the most well known coffee roasters in the US (Stumptown!). There espresso is a tad on the dark side but it is really good whether you like straight espresso or milk drinks. The baristas all work hard and it shows in the coffee and environment.

The service and conversation was wonderful! Whitney is a STAR, personable, funny and knows their products very well which helped a madly indecisive person like me. I like that they are not your run of the mill coffee joint but a place of whimsy, great coffee and AWESOME crepes with the added bonus of being surrounded by local art.

This is a really great cafe with good ambiance and coffee and friendly people. The problem is that the chairs and tables are ridiculously old and uncomfortable. One time, last year, I fell through the chair I was sitting in - could also be a liability if they don't fix the problem! I remember telling the staff about this at the time, but they either didn't relay the message to management or didn't seem to really care that I could have busted my butt on a broken chair. I removed the chair away from a table and the next time I came back it was at a table again. :-( In addition to the chairs being unstable, so are the tables - very wobbly.
