Everything was perfect until I went to wipe my lips with a napkin that had dried blood on it. The manager apologized but did not do anything to clean the table while I was there with my elderly Aunt whom was worried about it.

1st the good, coffee was delicious and cookie monster was great too. My husband and I ordered two bagel sandwiches. One onion with bacon, egg, cheese and tomato and one egg and cheese on cinnamon raisin. The onion bagel was mistaken for honey wheat to be honest no big deal for me it still tasted good. When I was breaking it apart eat it I noticed a weird discolored look to the eggs. Like grayish green in areas 2 pictures one with flash one with out. Everything still tasted okay. Overall I probably would go back for coffee.

I don’t normally complain but enough is enough. I come to here every morning til I got fed up. One person doing the drive thru, front counter, and making food not to mention they are new and don’t have the experience yet. Long waits on counter and drive thru. Coffees great, foods good... if you don’t mind wasting your morning waiting. Simple fix, HIRE enough knowledgeable help. One person can’t do it all!!! The other brewed in Johnston doesn’t have a drive thru but always has 3-4 people working.. makes no sense at all.

I do love their coffee but what I don’t enjoy is driving here to find out they closed early or wait in the drive thru line for 10 minutes before being helped, so I reverse and go inside to then stand there in a line and watch the one girl working there help the entire drive thru line before helping the line of customers inside and said “sorry were short on staff” so in total I spent 22 minutes at Brewed just to get an iced coffee.

Unfortunately you really need to have lots of time to frequent this place. Always long wait times. They’ve always staffed the place with one order taker who then makes your coffee. Gotta believe they’d get more customers if it didn’t take 15 minutes every morning to get your coffee. Definitely seen a steady decline in volume over the years

Always a friendly staff here. If you've never been it's like Starbucks but WAY better. Especially in the food department. I mean seriously for a coffee shop they really know what there doing. Only four stars because the wait for a simple thing can be long and they often run out of common food early in the afternoon.

Really impressive place but a disapointment with the so called "berry blast protein smoothie almost" $7.00 Maybe berry artificial flavors added but that's about it for actual fruit. It was so so so sweet had to trash it after 2 sips. I guess I expected more when place is so nice inside. l will give it another try sometime, with lowered expectations.

It's ALWAYS hit or miss. Coffee and drinks are fine but the last BLT I got, the bread was stale and there was barely any bacon. I've also had good ones but the cons outweigh the pros.

I have to say that brewed awakenings coffee is one of the best coffees I have ever had. I also like to say when you go in there it is very nice, welcoming, and very clean. The staff is super nice and they make you feel at home there. Highly recommend brewed to all my friends and family.

I am not sure if I have been lucky, or if the others commenting here are looking for something that doesn't always exist, perfection? I have been to this establishment at least a half dozen times now,, and can see where sometimes the store seems understaffed, which certainly would explain slow service. If you manage a restaurant, like I do, you would understand that this is how a business is run, you establish a payroll based on sales. Things like costs: rent, utilities, product purchasing, etc. must also be factored in. The only time I have ever seen anything remotely representing slow service were during peak periods with only 2 employees behind the counter. The service in my opinion is fantastic, I don't know their names, but there are 2 girls, one blond, one brunette, and one guy taller with facial hair, that really have their stuff down. Every time I come in at least one of them is here and they work hard to make sure nobody knows they are busy or flustered. I greatly appreciate the effort they put forth. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to accomplish any type of office/school work, it is wide open there are plenty of seats, the music is kept at a very reasonable level, and it is always extremely clean, which again being in the restaurant business I know is very hard to do. I am definitely not the guest hitting the drive through on my way to work or some event, therefore I am probably in the minority. I realize this is long winded, however, I think it's easy to be a bully or a harsh critic when you're not saying these things face to face with the employees or manager. Thank you for the service guys, keep it up!

Went through the drive thru and I was sitting in line for 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!! The drive thru forgot about taking the order of the lady in front of me. Comes back after 10 minutes. And then another 10 minutes sitting because service is SO slow. When I pick up my order the lady opens my bagel like to make sure it's the right one or something. I Express my frustration and she says "sorry you feel that way" oh ok. thanks...smh I open my bagel and it's not how I ordered it!!!!!! this happened on Thursday morning between 8:10 and 8:30am

I try my best to be understanding when mistakes are made in food service as I personally worked in a coffee shop for many years. I get that sometimes things just go wrong, we're human. What I look for in a coffee shop (as I'm sure we all do) is consistency. Staff that is on the same page, following the beverage/food preparation guidelines, knowing how to properly use the machines, how to place filters with care to prevent grind filled drinks. The only thing consistent about this place is the excessive amount grinds in our lattes, the absurd wait time and just outright terrible (unfixable) taste. If you're the type of person who has the time to go back and request your drink be remade every visit, this place is for you. I for one am not and will not be returning... this is the last *grind filled* straw.

So many times I have went to the drive thru window here and had a chai tea that tasted more like water. After I drove off I had to go back in for them to remake it, what a hassle. One other time the toast on my sandwich was burnt. Almost embarrassed I had to go back and have them make me another one. Please watch to make sure they give you your credit card back. I had them leave my cc on the counter all week next to the register instead of putting it in a safe place. Very irresponsible. I have visited all of the Brewed Awakenings in RI and this one is the poorest in customer satisfaction. To many younger kids that work here just to making a few bucks and not to provide customer service. They had lost me as a customer!

I live and work in town and go to Brewed often. The drinks and food are delicious however at least once out of every 5 times they mess up your order. It’s very disappointing. The wait is very long so you would think they were checking it ten times to make sure it was correct.

This place is hit or miss. I come here every day for my coffee and lunch. Unfortunately more times than not my order is messed up. I always use the drive-thru and order but somehow it's messed up. The staff is always friendly but the inconsistencies give it a two star.

The guys are all to busy flirting with the girls... it's a pricy coffee shop... the desserts are big and fluffy which is nice... but I spent 8.50 on a sandwhich that was over toasted...with small brittle pieces of bread. They even gave me a diseased pickle that was rotting in the middle. .. I was too offended to even say anything... I just left it on the counter and walked out... frustrated that I just learned a 12$ lesson on not to get breakfasts at this location ever again. It was a young guy who made the sandwich. I should of asked for a refund. If you're going to be a "high end" coffee shop with high prices ..you better serve highend foods...and have employees that take more pride in there jobs...I love coffee shops. ..but I would recommend dunkin donuts over this location.

I decided to stop here finally on my way home from work with my husband, since we both wanted coffee. The actual shop is a homey barista shop, with comfortable seating as well as access to wi-fi and tv. The coffee menu was amazing, both for flavors as well as brewed options. I found one of my favorite flavors...banana hazelnut, and as an iced coffee it was wonderful! My husband got a hot vanilla hazelnut coffee, and he was satisfied...he's of the belief that if you can do a basic/ simple flavor well, then your unusual flavors will be equally on target. We were happy with their breakfast sandwich menu, especially since the combinations are a different take on this meal as compared to other shops. The prices are reasonable, and the service pleasant. Well worth the trip!

Stopped in yesterday (Saturday) for breakfast. Ordered the "Awakening" breakfast sandwich, the "Boss" breakfast sandwich, an everything bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese, 2 Cookie Monster frozen drinks, and a large caramel iced coffee. The cashier, "Sadie" was friendly, professional, and thanked me when she gave me my change. She is a great asset to this company, as is Kristina who made my breakfast sandwiches quickly and correctly. The everything bagel came out exactly as ordered, lightly toasted with plenty of cream cheese on the side. Service was quick, and the tables were clean, not sticky like at some other places down the street. The breakfast sandwiches were delish as was my iced coffee! The kids loved their 'cookie monster' frozen drinks too! I highly recommend Brewed Awakenings and I will most definitely be back in the near future!!

Worst business ever. 4 years, 6 consecutive strikes. The last time I visited was 2 years ago and a nightmare. Today's experience was more of the same. Orders are always slow, and ALWAYS WRONG. The employees are lazy and disrespectful kids, and there is not a manager or supervisor ever physically at the location. I returned my horribly incorrect food item, again, and didn't even get an apology, or any other response for that matter. This is not an establishment you want to frequent or support.

I would say... Cozy and welcomed.For the busy individual getting off a shift. Come in.. order up a cup a their delicious brews. And sit in one of many plush chairs. Have a fire side chat with friends or work on a laptop. To me , this place awakens me to the brew ...hence the name "Brewed Awakening s"!

I come here a couple times a month to sip fancy coffee and sketch around with artist buddies, and we keep coming back here for good reason. Friendly atmosphere, and a great place to park your butt for a few hours with friends. They have lots of great drinks, but I always go back to the k'la frozen mocha. Try it out!
