First visit to Gettysburg and was recommended this coffee shop. In the end, it was a mixed response, i liked my drink, my girlfriend didn't like hers too much. I'd go back to avoid big chains but I'd probably look for another coffee shop first. Not bad, good enough.

The Ragged Edge Coffee House is a true gem! They have a great selection of quality hot and cold caffeine drinks. Their baked goods are deeeelicious, so much so that upon a return trip to the area I special ordered a loaf of their banana bread to take home. They even offer smoothies for those looking for a healthy option. The staff are super cool and nice. The house they converted into a coffee shop offers many seating options for enjoying your drink and/or food -- from the front porch where you can people watch, to the magical-looking garden area in the backyard. The interior is super spacious with seating on the main level and upstairs. Definitely worth the stop for a treat while you are in town.

Fast service. We ordered the baked oatmeal, with strawberries, banana and blueberries with steamed milk. Never had anything like it before. Pouring the steamed milk over the baked oatmeal was really nice. I would eat it again. Bagel was nicely toasted. Drinks were good.

Catering menu Compared to regular menu was not clear. Mediterranean salad was not available as it was on at the catering menu , which was not clear. Tried to order the chickpea and cucumber salad but they were out of Chickpeas, which was the main part the salad. Interaction with cashier was very awkward. Food was sub par. The ragged edge club had sub par lunch meat on it and my fiance's chicken Pesto sandwich, the "82" was just a chicken breast slapped on a pita bread. Salad was old on the sandwich and over all unappealing.

Just went to this coffee shop for the first time and it’s okay. Trying to hard to be a quirky hipster shop and customer service could use some work. Coffee was good, carpet could be vacuumed and the bathroom could use some cleaning. Not the worst, but not the best. Neat idea for the art they get creds for that.

I love visiting the Ragged Edge. I love the atmosphere of the place ever since it had started out. The drinks are wonderful, but the staff taking orders aren't very pleasant. I was waiting on the girl to take my order and she ended up taking the woman behind me first. Then she didn't even greet me. She looked miserable and then she didn't even say "have a nice day" after I said thank you for my order. Not very good customer service. Otherwise, I love this place

Just the cutest coffee shop in Gettysburg! I had their dirty chia latte and it was wonderful, the sweetness and spices were perfectly blended. The space reminds me of a children’s books with all the paintings, colors and staircase. Plus, there is outdoor seating :)!

Kinda expensive, slow(30+min for order to arrive) and mediocre food. Weird tasting milk in cappuccino. $3 canolis were only half filled - at the ends. When I complained they did cut open some others and gave me one that was filled and told me to keep the first one too. Well intended but misses the mark. We won’t be going there again. A shame because it has such potential.

The ragged edge is in a great location close to downtown gettysburg. I got the blackbelt smoothie and it was fantastic. The ragged edge is a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. There is an outside patio in the back that's a really great place to meet with friends over coffee/smoothies.

I love Ragged Edge in the heart of downtown Gettysburg.. The coffee and light food are delicious and the café atmosphere filled with the work of local artists is awesome! During warmer temperatures, one must hang out on the front porch to check out the pulse of downtown Gettysburg or the rear courtyard for a quieter outside nature filled setting.

I recently moved to the area and decided to scout out local coffee shops. This is by far the front runner! I went almost entirely on the baristas' recommendation and received exemplary service and high quality coffee, fresh juice blends and food, much of which was locally sourced. The decor was homey and pleasant with a zesty sparkle of local art sprinkled throughout. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I thought I'd try a local coffee shop while I was up here, and this one was advertised all over town on storefronts. It's in a convenient place, though you do have to parallel park in front. The place is small, but with enough seating. The coffee itself was great, though I didn't see a house blend to taste, only a selection including Ethiopian and Costa Rican.

I absolutely love this place. It's a great place to hang out with friends and chill for a while while enjoying some good coffee. Prices are decent, food is wonderful, the place is clean and well maintained, the staff is awesome and very friendly. I usually try to avoid going to Gettysburg because the town is so run down and depressing and the tourists don't know how to drive so it's an absolutely miserable experience. But, when I'm forced to be there for appointments, I always stop here to help brighten my day.

Great coffee and food. You will have to sweeten your own drinks and salt your own food most of the time because if you don't it'll probably be more bland than you would like. The service is decent. Some days are much worse than others. It is a really cute little cafe though.

A word of caution: They use soy milk. I wasn't aware until after I'd ordered that they didn't have dairy milk, and while that's not an issue for me, my husband can't have more than a little soy at a time. I feel like that needs to be better communicated up front - I didn't see a sign or anything, and only happened to overhear another customer ask for skim and get told they only have one kind of soy. My chai was a bit watery (probably because of the milk) but service was quick.

We've been to Gettysburg several times, and the last time we discovered this wonderful little shop! Loved it and started our day there everyday of our visit! Lovely front porch and back gardens, great coffee, funky vibe, friendly staff! We're actually headed to DC soon and are planning a small detour to Gettysburg on the return trip. Tried to stay overnight on Saturday just to start our day at this shop! Preferred hotel was booked, but we'll just have to stop by anyway...maybe for lunch!

Good coffee. I had the 86 sandwich, which was supposed to be chicken and pesto on pita bread but they asked if I wanted ham instead because they were out of chicken. It actually tasted pretty good. What made the place really good was the outdoor patio area, which is dog friendly and allowed us to enjoy the nice fall day. Definitely recommend.
