This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Cafe.
This is the best coffee shop in the world. The awesome baristas make the best cup of coffee. There's also fresh cakes and pastries (how fresh? The pastries are still warm!!). Fresh coffee beans are roasted on site, and available for purchase. Ordering from overseas is also possible - a very simple process which works, however the postage fee (standard) is a bit pricy. Would be great if there was a local distribution arrangement to other countries.
The BEST coffee and ambiance!
Not open every time you want me to rate you.
Awesome customer service! ...hv frequented establishment on a weekly basis for more than a year. U will wnjoy their drinks, pastries, & smiles
My first visit. What a wonderful hidden gem
Excited to try this place because it was always full whenever I stop on by. I ordered ice tea and kale salad. Taste of the tea and the salad were fine-I enjoyed them - but the salad was too small with that price range. They have outdoor seating area, which is beautiful but was unpleasant since many people were smoking.
The coffee is always good!
Superb coffee. They should provide more outdoor seating.
Had the iced matcha which was divine and not too sweet and the proscuitto panini. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Definitely lookinv forward to making this a neighborgood hangout.
Great baristas and great atmosphere, I totally recommend it!
This was the worst coffee that I have ever attempted to drink. You could get better coffee at the Sunoco down the street. The gentleman answering the phone asked me what do I want him to do
Great coffee and atmosphere!
Always a good stop for coffee. And the black bean and sweet potato hand pie was delicious!
Best decaf Americano I've ever had.
One of the best coffee shops in Pittsburgh!
Espresso was bomb. They had local artists' work hung up, nice little place. Service was great and employees were a delight to talk to.
Cool little cafe with excellent coffee. Tables outside... appeared to be dog friendly. Nice neighborhood vibe.
Always a great place to grab a tea or coffee and do some work or meet a friend. Free wifi is great and you might have to park up the street.
Very smooth coffee and a cute, friendly place with good WiFi and lots of plugs.
I love this place
Love that this is my neighborhood coffee shop. Great coffee, ambiance, and a place where everyone knows your name.
Awesome little coffee shop. Guys behind the counter were super helpful and very friendly. Visited this cafe today for a women’s group meet up for bike pgh. I had the chai tea latte and a salmon and cream cheese on an everything bagel. Seems to be pet friendly and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Places to lock your bikes are located in the front. On street parking available.
The browines!
Overpriced. No refills
Wonderful cafe with great selection
Some of the best coffee in town with friendly staff.
Cozy, tech ready neighborhood cafe. Excellent coffee and fresh light meals and baked goods. A gem in the lovely Highland Park neighborhood.
I love the atmosphere and the coffee here! Other drinks can be a little pricey but their drip coffee is on point.
One of the best cups of coffee you'll get in pgh.
Pleasant, peaceful atmosphere and also good coffee.
I walked in and was greeted and waited on right a way.. I ordered a 12 0z drip coffee with an apple cider doughnut.. Coffee was fresh, BUT that doughnut was heaven!!! Not to heavy or sweet, it was just right.. I'll be back.
My favorite place for a coffee after a hard bike ride.
Burnt my sandwich but honored both my time and person by excusing himself before serving me so we both chuckled! thanx
Awesome little coffee shop, a neighborhood staple
Lovely neighborhood coffee shop. Good coffee and baked goods.
They are always out of the salmon bagel... but everything is great!
Great coffee and atmosphere. Quiet!
Nice place to have an espresso drink or a pour-over. They brew Counter Culture coffee, which is great.
Why support a company that doesn’t support it’s workers? There’s plenty of other shops in Pittsburgh. And while you’re at it, stop buying from Enrico’s, too.
The coffee is very good. It reminds me a lot of some places in Paris. The energy and the vibes are really nice, calm and cozy. The food is super tasty, fresh, and the people are very friendly. Highland Park is just nearby. I can only recommend !
Went with a friend for the first time. Extremely disappointed. Not sure how this place has so many great reviews because it’s definitely far from great. Small. Poor lighting. No seating. Food is disgusting and expensive. Coffee is terrible. Neither of us will be back.
Ah, so most people are going to chat about the coffee on here, which means I get to be the lone person that steps up to the plate and writes about their tea and bites. They serve Rishi tea, which is very high quality flavorful tea. The salads are very nice and very appropriate for a meal on the go. I liked the atmoshpere for a nice quiet place to enjoy your afternoon.
Drinks are great, staff is nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable. This is a great neighborhood coffee shop.
Great service and atmosphere. We enjoyed our beverages at a cozy little table for two. The menu looked enticing but neither of us were hungry. Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone nearby.
Not big on pretentiousness coffee
This place is known for belittling the employees. The drinks aren’t worth the price you pay. The food is over priced and disgusting. I will never support a business that fires employees without notice. Stay far away and tell friends to stay far away too.
Exelent cozy little spot ... Great latte made by friendly staff
Good coffee, decent pastries. Always a local neighborly crowd.
best coffee in Rome! you should definately try cappuccino! ☕️
Good coffee and some tasty treats. Could use some more outdoor seating though.
Great coffee, friendly service, and nice neighborhood feel.
Overall the most enjoyable coffee experience I’ve ever had
Really good coffees
Best coffee shop in the city. Best coffee. Best espresso. Staff is friendly. They're open late, which coffee shops in Pittsburgh tend not to be. It's a neighborhood center, as well.
The ambience and location is really good. I was served hot chocolate with slightly old milk. I had a coffee without any cream the next time and it was good.
A fantastic cafe with delicious offerings and splendid service! Definitely amazing lattes and drinks all around; you can tell the baristas here value their craft and cherish there customers!! Will be coming back and bringing many friends, family and loved ones with. Great job and keep up the awesome customer service!
Good coffee!
Good espresso drinks and pastries, but limited seating.
Good coffee, wide selection of food, people are friendly. Free WiFi, seems like a great place to grab coffee and go, get a quick bite, or sit and work on your laptop for a while. Added bonus: this place is also a PokeStop.
Good coffee and a nice atmosphere. I like to relax here. It can take awhile to get your order. Staff is friendly.
Tazza's espresso is some of the best in the city, and their drinks are made in the classical Italian style; eg, their cappuccino is "wet", and served in only one size, about 6 ounces. If you're into coffee then this should be all the recommendation you need. But there's more to like about Tazza. Their pastries are always fresh and excellent in general (though the croissant leaves something to be desired, namely more butter). The atmosphere at their location in Highland Park is low-key, with eclectic music in the background (several of the baristas come from the local music scene).
Great little coffee shop in highland park.
Very nice Café but very unfriendly personnel
This is a great coffee shop, they have great tea and coffee. They also have very yummy baked goods. I have never had any problems here.
Tazza is my local coffeeshop and I love it!!! Highland Park would not be complete without it. The coffee is great but to me is just part of the broader picture- they have great food (just updated) and baked goods, I like catching up with the baristas, and the rotating art is always interesting. Great spot to hang out, talk, catch up with the regulars and neighbors, and also friendly to bikers, dogs, families, those who are reading, and those who are catching up. In a word, it is a community. Can't say enough about this spot!
Food is overpriced and terrible. Drinks aren’t worth the prices they charge. Management is very condescending towards the baristas. Space is tiny and no seating. Very pretentious and I’m not sure why considering this place doesn’t offer much.
A wonderful little coffee shop! The employees are all so lovely and kind.
Great local coffee shop in highland park. Outdoor seating available. Friendly staff and guests.
Great place with wonderful coffee!
One of the better coffee houses in Pittsburgh. Had a good coffee and a little cooky. Almost 7 bucks for that is perhaps a little overpriced.
What a great place! Great for community!
Great coffee and nice staff. Top coffee shop in Pittsburgh for me and always try to stop by when going out that way
All I can say is,That this place. Is a hidden treasure!!!!
Probably some of the best coffee in the city. Among the top 2 or 3. Only downside: seems like a lot of new moms visit this place. I mean, morning and afternoon times, there always seems to be a baby nearby. If you're a mom, this is a plus, cause you're in good company if you bring your toddler. But if you're a student looking for a good place to get some writing done, then you might want to consider this.
Quiet neighborhood coffee shop with a decent selection of baked goods and simple hot sandwiches to accompany your coffee. The regular coffee was excellent.
Great coffee!
Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop and gathering place. Terrific coffee, healthy take-away items and delicious pastries baked fresh each morning. Free wifi and alfresco seating. Free on-street parking is plentiful. Easily reached by walking from Highland Park. Art by local artists provides both a pleasing backdrop and an option for gifts - as the art is for-sale. Share tables with friendly guests and make new friends!
This is a great neighborhood place to stop in and enjoy a large variety of beverages and something to eat. The trees out front provide shade for a wonderful alfresco experience. The staff is friendly and courteous, and WiFi is available for the laptop user.
Conversational ambiance. Beautiful & strong cortado. More thoughtful & experimental art on the wall than your average coffee shop.
The quality of beans and roast are excellent, but more often than not you will drink a chilled sip of cappuccino or cortado because they put more care in in drawing a heart of foam than in making sure the milk is hot.
Nice ambiance and employees. Good lunch
Best espresso in the city, make sure you try the CMU location as well.
A great atmosphere and friendly staff. Personally, I find most of their coffee to be overly bitter but go back since it's a community staple.
Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! Just had an amazing Macha Latté.
I come here alot. It's my neighborhood coffee shop. I love the outside patio with the gorgeous view of beautiful homes across the street and all the shade the trees provide. Good coffee too!
Everything is always delicious. My only suggestion is that they limit wifi availability when they get full. I hate walking into a place where every table is taken by one entrenched person on a laptop who's only had one cup. Folks who want a good neighborhood cuppa in a relaxing atmosphere don't have a lot of options. Folks lost in their computers do.
I don't have any reason to go out to Highland Park. No, that's a lie. I have two reasons to go out to Highland Park. I ride my bike around the reservoir, and I go to this coffee shop. I don't even need the park to draw me out. A latte from Tazza D'oro is enough to lure me. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but holy guacamole, they make the best latte I've ever had. Almost certainly the best latte in Pittsburgh. It's creamy, hot, and balanced. And honestly, if it isn't the best, it looks the best. Look at those pictures! Come on! Tell me you don't want to drink that. It has a cozy atmosphere that a lot of coffee shops attempt to achieve but ultimately fail. There isn't a weird blanket of silence imposed by people with laptops. You can actually talk to people in this coffee shop and meet them. You could also be absorbed in your laptop if you want, but it's nice to have an alternative available along with GREAT coffee.
Great coffee. Professionally rendered. Pastry can be hit and miss (pretty common for coffee shops). Great place to hang out, chat with friends.
I lyked the food I had a panini and it twas delicious, the prices are a little on the expensive side, but its a nice quiet cozy place to grab a cup and chill. Mac rating: 5/5 Android rating: 3.5/5
Great iced tea.
Very good energy here.
Nice cozy place.
Perfect coffee flavor in latte
Excellent coffee, pastries, salads, sandwiches. Amy and her crew are great!! Lots of locals. Best spot in Highland Park for many years now. ☕
One of my favorite places to go ever since I moved down the street! It's always lovely here and everyone is so sweet. The food is a plus, and the coffee gets me in just the right way. I've also had the chai latte which has just the right amount of spices.
Great coffee and work space. Often crowded though and hard to find seating. But free parking, hard to beat.
I love a coffee shop/cafe that offers savory options!! Staff is all smiles. Treats look DELISH. Paninis on offer. Lots of folks in here both doing work and sharing a coffee with friends. Loving it!
This is my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh! They serve Counter Culture coffee which is always delicious. They also have a selection of food and pastries. It's a small shop with about 15 tables, and it can get very crowded on weekends. The staff is super friendly. It's a great place to sit and read or knit.
So yum! Pumpkin bars
Screwed up my order, screwed up my change. Coffee and even espresso were WEAK. BOO.
Great latte, tasty treats and a beautiful setting
Best Cafe in Pittsburgh - like a hidden gem. The sandwiches are delicious, you must try the chocolate chip brownie, and the coffee is great and made exactly the way you like it. Also, good WiFi connection. That's important!
Excellent choice for those looking for a coffee shop to think, write and sip on coffee.
Great place. They really care about their coffee and it shows
Highland Parks local hang out. Great coffee. Lots of grab and go healthful foods. A little pricey but worth it.
Nice place for breakfast -> the bagels are hyper yummy. We love it!
A Wonderful owner and manager keep this coffee shop going strong. Amy and Bill are both terrific people and the coffee is one of the best!
a neighborhood fave! great spot to gather.
Always friendly and greeted with a smile! Best coffee I know of lve it!!
Always a please. Fantastic choice of Pour over, press, chemex. Some of the best espresso in town too. Great atmosphere.
Best cappuccino.
Good coffee. Limited options, but the coffee is good. Also a nice selection on the food menu & bakery pastries that change daily. Good place to meet up with others too
Delicious food and coffee
Great baristas, great atmosphere, great clientele, great food, and great coffee. I highly recommend!
One of the best cups of chai I've had in forever
Makes u feel like you are in Europe. The imperfections of th e decor make it comfortable
Love this coffee shop for the people, coffee, conversations, and food and atmosphere!
Awesome
If I could give zero stars I would. The food is horrific. They need to fire the person who creates such disgust. The drinks are blah. The staff is okay but clearly unappreciated by the management. I have witnessed management belittle staff and treat them like they are nothing. I have visited multiple locations and experienced the same. Absolute disgrace. I will definitely tell others not to come here. I refuse to support a business that sells disgusting food and mistreats their employees. They should be ashamed of themselves.
They offer decent coffee, but chairs and tables are not seater-friendly.
Good coffee.... People are a bit quiet there
Terrific neighborhood coffee & tea place. Been in this spot for over ten years. They are doing it right.
The perfect small neighborhood coffee shop. Great coffee!l and atmosphere. One of my favorite in Pittsburgh.
Friendly staff. Cozy ambience
Delicious tea and baked goods; I loved the ginger scone and chocolate chai tea. Friendly atmosphere. The seating is ample but a bit cramped. There's plenty of on-street parking in front and nearby.
highly recommend! a must if you're in the area and need a coffee and a snack
Great place to study or work from. Staff is always super friendly and amazing. Awesome selection of tea too if you're not like me needing your coffee fix.
Fantastic coffee, good vibe
Great ice coffee and mochas are fantastic. A pretty small interior. But nice vibe around the neighborhood.
Amazing bustling cafe. Loved the breakfast and coffee. Must visit while in the PA area. Hosts: Good job you guys!!
Great asset to Highland Park and a nice place to get coffee and a pastry.
One of the most lovely coffee shops in Pittsburgh! They stand in limited company with their provision of not only excellent coffee, but varied and delicious food options.
Great coffee !
Very popular with the locals, everyone seems to know each other. Seating is limited, prices were too high for the mediocre quality. Almost $9 for a scone and latte. Both were truly unremarkable. The only thing that might get me back is the inside (if u can get a seat) is quiet even when busy.
Banana bread =
Place is nice and cozy....food is not that good
Best coffee I've tasted in Pittsburgh
My favorite coffee/tea gathering place
Stopped in here for coffee and a bite--the coffee was excellent, and I enjoyed my mushroom flatbread, but my dining parter's panini was understuffed, undergrilled, and underwhelming. All in all pretty good, though food quality is spotty based on our selections.
Very friendly staff and better than average coffee (not exceptional, though). The layout is pretty confined and there are a lot of two-seat tables with one person. Nobody seemed Ken in sharing so I had to wait 10+ minutes for a place to sit (during peak hours). Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.
Fantastic coffee in a charming venue. If you're tired of the same old Sb*x, give these guys a try.
I really love this Cafe. Their coffee is good and it's quiet enough that you can work there without distractions, infact many people go to work or study there so you might want to arrive early to find a table. It can get pretty busy especially around 8/8.30 am.
A nice little coffee shop. Great lattes and mochas. They tend to be busy and sometimes it takes a little longer than other similar places but everything is always right and I've never had a bad drink here.
Overpriced but good beverages. If your willing to overpay for your drink then it’s great!
Great place, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, heavenly salmon bagel, and the best coffee I've over had. 10/10 would go again. Definitely check out their location in Millvale at the corner of Grant and North.
Cool vibe! Good tea, sandwiches, and goodies.
Ice mocha was ok
Wonderful coffee and mochas. They also support local artists.
Great coffee. Loyal community. Highland Park institution. Fabulous owner.
Amazing people who make amazing coffee.
The espresso here is excellent! Also, a nice selection of baked good.
The coffee was pretty good. The barrista was competent if a bit unfriendly. However the seats are wickedly uncomfortable.
great shop, very attractive space. Got a wonderful iced latte.
A preferred spot for delicious Cafe food. Great hospitality. Definitely worth going back to. It has a nice feel to it.
The best coffee place in Pittsburgh! They deserve it not only for their perfect latte but for their great food selection. Their mushroom flatbread is my favorite!
A favorite place for quality Cafe food. I really loved this place. Prices are fair I would say.
Used to work in here. Friendly staff, good snacks and coffee
Best mochas I have ever had!
