[Was 5 stars.] I'm not sure why I've missed this place for so long. The coffee here is absolutely amazing and I'm addicted! They have great food too and the atmosphere is relaxing. I'm hooked on Avenue 209!!! [EDIT: This place has sure gone downhill quick. From the daily increasing prices, never stocking beans for sale anymore, "baristas" who openly admit to "not knowing coffee" and the extremely inappropriate attire of the staff up to and including shirts tucked into their necks so their gut hangs out are some of the reasons I won't be back and cannot recommend this place to anyone anymore.]

I'm not really sure what to say. We have had a few amazing drinks. And a few terrible drinks. We don't deviate from our usual drink much so there seems to be a consistency issue. The drinks that were good really were delicious.

This is a coffee house they wouldn't feel at all unusual in a much larger City. The roast their own coffee on premises. And their food is pretty good too. If it was anything to criticize it would be that they need more seating of the comfortable chair variety maybe a sofa.

My go-to drink is an Americano with no cream or sugar. Just espresso and water. And Avenue 209 executes it flawlessly. The staff is friendly and environment is inviting. If you are in the Lock Haven area, you have to stop in a check it out.

This is a great coffee shop without happy people to take your orders. The menu is much larger than you normally see, but their University clientele need their bubble tea in addition to their caffeine. The local artists and books featured give it an historic charm.

Lovely little coffee shop. Has a great relaxing vibe. I got a frappe and my boyfriend got an iced coffee and both were fabulous! The frappe was flavorful and not overly sweet. The iced coffee was strong, flavorful and not overly bitter. I got camping in this area every year and I love visiting the different restaurants and shops in town. Overall 10/10. Will be back.

My favorite place in Lock Haven. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and willing to talk. Amazing atmosphere, perfect for working or studying. They have extended late night hours during LHU finals week. Local hot spot for high school and college students. Tables are covered in artwork and poetry done by customers.

The brewed coffee is excellent, but specialty drinks are just average. Caters to a student crowd but anyone can order a drink, sit in a corner and read a book, or play with their phone or their laptop for an hour or so. Good service. Musical events are posted on their Facebook page.
