REVIEWS OF Tov Coffee & Tea IN Oregon

Kristin Wucherer

Excellent coffee and service. Had the Egyptian coffee and a caramel latte with cardamom. The double decker bus was also a neat feature, along with the authentic Egyptian decor. Highly recommend for anyone visiting/in Portland.

Zoe DiCicco

This place is super cool! A coffee shop on an double Decker bus. I love the purple espresso machine.

Ben Kermoyan

The Egyptian Coffee here is my favorite hot drink in Portland, made even better by Joe's incredible service, keep it up.

Yvette/Eevee Diggs

Ok really really long wait in line so be prepared. Everyone is trying to get a taste of the incredible coffee here and I can see why. I tried the Mocha Rose Coffee on the "secret" menu and OMGosh so very yummy...that was my first two days in PDX on day 3 tried the charcoal and cream...to live for! The hubby got the coffee with vanilla and reduced rum...so amazing! If only I could have this FedEx overnight to my house every morning that would be perfection! Get ya some.

Mathew Snow

This is the perfect little spot to get amazing coffee beverages. My personal favorite is the charcoal creme vanilla latte. Baristas are top notch, service is expedient, friendly and they're always smiling. Very relaxed atmosphere and it's inside a red double decker bus. There is covered seating on to of the bus which is perfect for people watching on Hawthorne. This is my favorite spot for coffee.

Jimmy Hickerson

Good coffee on a double decker bus

Bayani Hilo

Awesome Egyptian coffee. Unique setting and very relaxing. The service is really friendly too!

Sarah Caroline Mueller

Super cute coffee bus, not a lot of seating options. There are other foos trucks next to it with some wobbly picnic tables though.

Sarah Ohryn-Leonard

The presentation and preparation of our coffee drinks always exceed my expectations. The staff is very friendly. It is a one mile walk to get there from my place, well worth it!

Bethany Perkins

They have THE BEST coffee and always have really friendly staff & service.

Joseph Johnson

Had the mint thing with chocolate milk. Was like eating a girlscout thin mint cookie with cold brew coffee. Just amazing. Cool spot, near fantastic food, and friendly owner. Btw, the coldbrew comes with coldbrew ice. That's right, the ice cubes are made with coldbrew. No diluting here. Worth the price. A Must see.

Abhishek Shibu

Didn’t think I’d enjoy a 16oz cup of coffee with a strong cardamom taste but I was pleasantly surprised. Let the barista know what you like so they can cater to your taste!

Scam

The Tov bus has always been there for me when I needed something tasty and caffeinated. I've had hundreds of "mint things" at this point and I'm not ashamed.

Brittany Vargas

Such a cool spot and the mint iced coffee was outrageously good!

Joe Stepp

I waited over 20 minutes for a Turkish coffee, which I finally got after a person who arrived 10 minutes after I did received theirs. This was after the barista spoke to me and explicitly acknowledged that I was waiting for one. The barista arrived on the second level of the bus, looked between the two of us, and gave the coffee to the newcomer. I gave a $1 tip on a $3 coffee, for what that’s worth. As you can probably gather, the service was awful. Edit: After posting this review, the owner sat down at my table and talked to me. You might think he would’ve apologized and asked what he could do to rectify the situation. Instead, he scolded me in front of the other customers, said that I should’ve talked to him first, and demanded I leave immediately. Clearly, he doesn’t understand the concept of reviews. When a customer gets bad service, the review isn’t going to be positive.

Brittany Lim

This place was so good! Some of the better cold brew that I've had in a while. It wasn't as acidic as other places, which I liked bc I'm not a big fan of the sour taste. The coffee ice cubes were also a nice touch bc they didn't dilute the drink as they melted. We tried the basbousa as well. The sweetness went perfectly with the cold brew.

James Thomas

Excellent coffee!

Grace Owens

So completely amazing! I loved the vibe here along with the decor. The barista was super kind and patient with us

Peter

Tasty drinks (Sahlep is my fav) and very kind people. Once they forgot my drink when I was waiting upstairs. They were very apologetic, brought me a drink quickly and gave me a voucher (even though I said it was fine). I look forward to returning and sitting upstairs with a drink soon.

M.J.P

This place is amazing for any coffee junkie. Good black and lovely ambiance and the barista is so sweet and so attentive. Give this man a raise

Geoffrey Holtsclaw

Lovely coffee spot on Hawthorne. Everything you see is imported from Egypt, and it's beautiful! So cozy to come and sit on the bus while sipping on some authentic Egyptian coffee. Definitely recommend!

vignan sagar

One of the best places to have coffee in Portland. And guess what it's on a double decker bus

Bree Edwards

Fun and cool vibe. Service is excellent. Great coffee.

Jonathan Ogden

Very, very, very cool coffee spot. Kind of place makes you wish you had six stars to give

Sam Carlson

Excellent experience. Intimate (you’ll see what I mean) setting, VERY helpful and polite employees, and tasty beverages! I will certainly come back. Maybe they’ll move into a larger space someday - that would be interesting to see.

Christopher Lawrence

Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Great people!

Cassandra Rosenthal

Lovely little coffee shop in the middle of a small cart pod. Firstly I loved how this was in a double decker bus it gives the place such a unique ambiance. But the main reason to come here is for the coffee. I wasn't brave enough to try the Turkish coffee but instead got the Rose Mocha and it was delightful. Not super sweet which is how I like my flavored coffees. The owner even came by while I was there to check in and make sure I enjoyed it.

Ashwin Arikere

Its in a double decker London bus + they make amazing coffee and tea! The cozy yum yum is a delightful concoction that you should try. Has become my wife and my favorite weekend coffee place

Maulsri Jha

This coffee bus is one of “the” places to see in Portland. Amazing coffee, lattes and teas. I tried the Egyptian coffee, which was served in this beautiful hand-crafted tea set, the entire ritual to drink it was explained by our server. It was strong and so aromatic. My husband had the rose mocha, amazingly thick and creamy. We sat on the upper deck and the entire Saturday morning vibe was so good. will definitely return. Oh and they also give turkish delight with their egyptian coffee.

Hayley Bridwell

Truly wonderful spot. The Egyptian coffee was absolutely delicious and it was a treat to sit in the peaceful top of the bus sipping away. I fully intend on coming back next time I'm in town.

Mohit Mittal

Love the concept of the English bus in addition to their Egyptian coffee. Place an order and have a seat comfortably at the top. They will get the coffee to your seat. I tried their Egyptian coffee which was very unique. My friends tried chai latter and Sahlet and they were great too! Overall, a perfect place to have a morning coffee especially when it's not too cold outside.

Aidan Grimshaw

Really cool location!

Antara Langella

I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw it. Dragged my boyfriend inside for a Turkish coffee date, and I think he secretly thought it was great too. We both ordered a Turkish coffee, which came with a Turkish delight. The atmosphere was so adorable and ethnic, it was chilly outside but we still sat upstairs. Unfortunately, the wait was ridiculously long, it took a good 25-30 minutes before our coffee finally came up, but the experience made up for it. I would love to come there during the summer and lounge up top and work on my lappy while getting my caffeine and cardamom fix!

Danyelle Webb

ToV is by far the best coffee shop in Portland! Everything is crafted with care, from their syrups and coffee ice cubes to their purple enamel and gorgeous dishware. Their upstairs seating area is super cozy. The owner Joe puts so much love into his bus and you can feel it from the moment you walk in. Did I mention his mom makes many of the Turkish treats? So cute.

Taylor Stone

Of all the coffee options in Portland, this is one of my favorite places to visit. TōV means "good" and that's exactly what this place is in terms of atmosphere, service, food, and drink. I used to just get a large black coffee (which is delicious) but now that I've had some of those homemade pastries, I think my regular order needs to adapt ;) The owner is always extremely friendly and welcoming. The Egyptian coffee is a splendid experience that I always try to introduce to family/friends who are visiting in town (also, the BEST Turkish delight I've EVER had). Take a good book and sit awhile on the top of the bus with a delicious cup or two. Super grateful this coffee bus is in my city!

Reine

With its precocious theme, friendly staff and Turkish inspired treats it’s a clever standout. I can’t give it 5 stars because regrettably my mocha was weak.

Lauri Llewellyn

The only thing better than the service and ambiance is the coffee. Love

Terisa Garren

Excellent latte.

Chase McNamara

Service was great, really nice staff. It's a cool spot and they have heaters inside during the winter!

lorena cruz

A hidden gem. This place has a certain something that keeps me coming back even if I live on the other side of town. The service makes you feel like you are in a land far away and being showered with sincere kindness. Joe is happy to give suggestions based on your preferences and is willing to adjust the menu and work with you. That StarB shop has nothing on the best coffee shop in Portland. Rain or shine this is the place to go for a warm drink. Love the sahlep, rose nectar, and the hot chocolate that’s out of this world...#anauthenticexperience☕️

Paul Song

If you have extra time to explore areas outside of downtown Portland, I would recommend this unique spot. The coffee is Egyptian style and it’s in a double decker bus. It’s also a great spot to relax.

Allyssa ..............

The coffee here is freaking fantastic and the baristas are so helpful & kind

Timothy Spahr

I love this place. Very friendly and Egyptian Coffee is divine if you're into that (I am). As a bonus for me, my Google Maps photo contribution here has more views than any of my others... :) Let's keep that photo on top shall we?!

ERICK OCONNOR

Great service, cute setup and very good coffee. Had 2 flat whites with proper proportions of milk to espresso with nice latte art.

Sierra Aleman

Hands down the best coffee I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Micah Dickinson

Amazing experience. Very clean and comfortable inside, perfect coffee (I had Egyptian/Turkish style), and the proprietor was genuinely friendly. I love everything about it.

Nathan Blond

Best coffee, I've ever had ever! Owner is very sweet. The atmosphere is amazing... I guarantee you won’t regret a visit

Scott Gow

Very cool place with an awesome atmosphere. The tea and coffee was also delicious and reasonably priced

Kriti Bhargava

They have a very interesting menu and setup

Ryan Beeler

Ordered three drinks, one hot and two cold. The drinks came all hot. We let the server know and he kindly said he'd remake them. Moments later, another employee came to our table just to tell us that we didn't order our drinks the way we said we did but that they were being remade. That's all he came to say. Who goes back to a customer just to tell them they were wrong (we were not BTW) and that the messed up order was their fault? What does that accomplish? I'll tell you what that accomplishes...... A one star review for others to read where otherwise I would have gone about my day.

Minh Tran

It was a great coffee experience. I have never came back the same coffee shop back to back. However, TOV has changed that. I came first time for trouble with the cops with oat milk and it was amazing. The second day, I ordered rose lattes and it was amazing as well. Side note, Egyptian coffee cannot order Togo. They use a sand pit to heat up the coffee in the little metal tin. We also ordered the hibiscus tea and it was delicious and refreshing for a hot summer day.

Sean Shanks

Joeseph is truly blessed in the art of making coffee. If you think you know coffee, you don't. Joe knows coffee. Its not American, its not Starbucks and if you ask for something that Joe knows wont taste good he will be sure to let you know. Come in and try something new. Everything on the menu is amazing. Order sonething different and even if it ends up being something you don't prefer you'd have a hard time saying that it wasn't an amazing experience. Thanks Joe for keeping it real.

Michael D

Beautiful and unique coffee shop. Personable and knowledgeable staff. Loved the Turkish delight with our Egyptian coffee

Zackary Fife

Sticking to the basics of making great coffee with no-frills or fufu frap. They make Coava coffee better than Coava does.

Chris Grenard

I've had quite a few lattes in my life, this was the best one. My girlfriend got a rose latte, and even though I don't care for floral flavors, it was also excellent.

Hunter Zach

Best coffee in town by far. I had initially been pretty disappointed by the quality of coffee that Portland’s shops had to offer...then I discovered this place. Excellent staff, very friendly service

Violent Party

Had the Charcoal at Tov today. It was stellar! Great customer service, unique atmosphere and delicious drinks. Highly recommend this spot!

Christian Craig

Is nice that Egypt people like you can have a successful coffee shop in the us continue to have the best coffee you should come by fairway coffee sometime and try out some of are coffee

Michael Steinmetz

Very unique location to get a drink. It was my first time trying Egyptian Coffee and I didn't like it but the man was very nice.

Scott Dude

Karkadeh is amazing and they always have the fire sweets with an Egyptian twist. Would recommend .

Tim Tang

Must try for any coffee lover! Had a cappuccino and a Turkish coffee. Cappuccino was third wave style with lighter and sweeter notes; absolutely delicious! Turkish style coffee was tasty with some added cardamom. Definitely worth trying.

Chloe Schultz

What a fun and cool concept! A double decker bus slash coffee shop! And novelty aside, they do serve really good coffee here. It's probably one of the best coffee I had during my visit to Portland! The lower deck is where you order your drink and the top of the bus has a few chairs and tables. The space in the lower deck is really tight but the upstairs area is actually fairly spacious for a bus. It wasn't crowded during our visit so we were able to stay and enjoy our coffee on the upper deck! It was also raining but they do have tarps and a heater so you can have your coffee on top of a bus, rain or shine! We ordered Nectar of the Gods, Rose Mocha, and Are You Crazy. I got to try all three and my favorite is the Nectar of the Gods. I loooove caramel so this is the perfect drink for me and the taste of the cardamom is subtle so it isn't overpowering. The iced Rose Mocha is also good! The rose flavor is just light and it complemented the mocha. Are You Crazy to me is really You're Crazy for Drinking This, but I say that in a good way! If you're into really strong coffee, like my husband, then you will love this drink. It's turkish coffee with a shot of espresso. It also came with a Turkish delight (Turkish candy) to cleanse the palate. Great service, friendly baristas. Overall, it was an awesome experience!

Jordan Iddings

some of the best coffee in Portland. definitely the best mocha, and the atmosphere can't be beat. try the pistachio rose cookie and Egyptian coffee, I highly recommend both!

Nathnael Abebe

Delicious coffee and atmosphere on a double decker bus!

Elizabeth McLeod

Very, very good coffee and a unique experience.

Taylor Carpenter

Delicious Egyptian coffee, tumeric chai and desert. Cozy and chill atmosphere. Highly recommend for solo, meeting a friend and kid friendly as well.

Jen H.

Super cool, chill, unique seating for a cafe. Good service; went for the “experience.” Delicious iced mint cold brew. Traditional Turkish coffee and yummy Turkish Delight!

Jeffrey Yasskin

They have lots of really creative drinks, and they use coffee or chocolate ice in their iced drinks to avoid diluting them.

Linet K.

Why go to Tov in a town so full of excellent coffee shops? Well, it's the only Turkish coffee shop in the area; featuring Turkish coffee, coffee shop staples, and a rotating menu of creative, exotic specials (pictured: Coconut Charcoal Latte). It's also the only coffee shop I know of in a converted purple double-decker bus. The top deck provides a great view rain-or-shine. Top it off with friendly staff, and you have a neighborhood gem work checking out.

Heidi Kruck

Love this place! So much so that when I was looking to move, I considered the distance I'd have to go to get here for each place that I looked at. The drinks are excellent and the staff is even better.

Caroline Davis

An awesome unique gem. I've never had Egyptian coffee in a bus before! All of the flavors are super bold and homemade. Unlike anything else

Filip Schmole

Incredible coffee and chocolate drinks, and the location in the double decker bus is super cool. The owner takes it to the next level in every way. He will not compromise on quality, even if the line is out the door.

Andrew Hoffmann

They make one of the best cortados! Great atmosphere, and the upper deck stays surprisingly warm!

Ellie Cox

the best specialty Coffee and drinks in Portland, hands down. The Owner Joe is such a kind man and takes so much pride in his delicious drinks. 10/10 we will be back soon!

jakob grey

Ambiance, service and of course, great coffee.

Such Wee

The mocha selection is sure to be a unique Portland experience for any visitors. I enjoyed my winey Mocha with extra chocolate. It is a bit chilly for rainy fall weather, but they do switch on the heaters. Fun place to visit and have a chat or play a board game! Don't forget to try the Turkish coffee, too!

Ali Almuqbil

This place is an amazing place. It is a great experience that will take you to another country due to the wonderful design they have.

Allie Yacina

Unique experience and artisan coffee. Very neat spot to sip on a cup and read or do work online. Grab a bite from a nearby foodcart and have lunch upstairs! Joe is happy to accommodate you and will make you the perfect cup.

John MacBride

If you're looking for a quirky coffee spot with a middle eastern vibe and an impressive product and presentation, this is the place to go.

Joe Romney

The cold and rain didn't stop me from hitting up Tovs during a recent visit to PDX. The Egyptian Coffee was the perfect antitdote to the weather, as was sitting on the top of the bus, which is covered and heated. Love this place.

Sydney Schneider

I really want to like this place, but the owner continuously offends people. If it is not me, it is the person in front of me or the friends from out of town that I bring to his business. The last time we were visiting we did not even make it onto the bus before he asked that I present my service dog paperwork. I was with 4 friends and we were all planning to get a drink. My friends insisted we go elsewhere. I gave this place a second and third chance after the owner chased my friends down the block for taking a photo with the bus and not buying anything (we had just eaten and planned to come back later). My friends were visiting from out of town, had just arrived in Portland and ate their first meal. They were mesmerized by how beautiful the place is and was. It was pretty embarrassing/upsetting that they had such a negative experience while I was trying to show them the city I love. I cannot stress enough as a customer service professional the importance of separating personal emotions from the service your provide to clients. I would suggest that the owner try to be a bit more welcoming and less aggressive. There are plenty of coffee/tea places in Portland, no need to be treated poorly here.

L Smith

It was a bit slow to get our drinks from what the owner said was a large back up, looked like 4 drinks in front, whatever stuff happens. Their nectar of the gods is really good, 10/10 would go again just for that drink it is great. Cool atmosphere and they were very friendly.

Rene Ruiz

I mean, what's not to like? It's a double decker bus, it's on Hawthorne, it's surrounded by delicious food carts, and the owner takes great pride in the quality of his drinks (especially the espresso). If you have a bad experience here it's your own fault. Be ready for something different, embrace the funkiness, and enjoy the taste of a true master.

Adam Larson

A uniquely delightful experience. Amazing coffee and a super friendly staff in an inspired setting. I’ll surely be back my next trip to Portland!

Cameron Lowell

This place is a 5-star for the uniqueness of the experience alone. Coffee on a double-decker bus? Sweet! The staff is always INCREDIBLY nice and the coffee isn't bad either. This is a regular stop for us when we visit Portland.

Dan Mitropolsky

Delicious stove cooked Arab/Turkish coffee with cardamom aroma in an atmospheric bus reminsicent of an Arab coffee house or Bedouin tent. Plan to have the coffee here and spend at least 20 min. They don't speak Arabic though.

Bam Mendiola

I took a friend to Tov today and I scored major cool-friend points. We loved the customer service, the energy of the space, and of course our drinks were SUBLIME. Update: I left my laptop bag and 2.5 thousand dollars worth of equipment by accident at Tov’s and a good samaritan turned it in. This place has amazing drinks, amazing vibes, and honest people. This place is worthy of your loyal business.

Amazing location, fantastic coffee

Kate Jones

10/10! Stumbled upon this place by accident and loved it! Thanks to the guys there for providing an amazing service and atmosphere. Best Egyptian coffee I’ve ever had, a true highlight of my visit to Portland!

Mizuba Tea Co.

We love Tov! Wonderful experience unlike an coffee shop you’ve been too!

Renae Spears

The bus and atmosphere were very cool and they covered to turn on the heater upstairs for us when we said we wanted to stay. But very concerned about this broken table that was upstairs. Probably not the best place to bring kids if they like to explore.

Amber Petersen

Wonderful, unique coffee, espresso drinks and sweets. Staff and owner are pleasant and kind. Wonderful and unique experience! I’d love to return with all my friends and family.

Karina Charlton

The Turkish tea was amazing! It takes about 15 minutes to make but it is totally worth the wait. The barista wanted to make sure to tell us that he is Egyptian not Turkish and is mastering this craft just like any other normal human being! He was beyond friendly and we are looking forward to returning every time we come to Portland.

Angel Luo

The Egyptian coffee is fun! The rose mocha is to die for!!!

Daniel Rockey

Visiting town for a few days, and I had passed by Tov a few times, and had made a point to stop in before we left as it initially seemed like a chill place. It wasn't until we took a photo outside of the double decker bus, not only as a reminder of it's location, but also as a memory of town, that we came into trouble. One of the staff literally came RUNNING out and chased us down the road to berate us for having the audacity to take a photo without buying anything. Note: we did not go inside snapping photos like a bunch of no good tourists, but instead just took one photo a few feet away (on the public road). The employee/owner caught us all off guard with his blatant rudeness, stating in the most condescending tone that "Ive spent a lot of money on this place, and it's not an art gallery" Now I agree, if we were snooping around and being rude about using his shop for a photoshoot or whatnot, it would be polite to spend a couple bucks on coffee as repayment. But for one photo? To come running out just to enforce your weird sense of self righteousness is beyond unacceptable, and a surefire way to make sure that you lose any potential customers that come to your establishment for it's creative style. Being some odd enforcer of 'take a photo, pay me' is poor buisness and is no better than the losers who wear costumes outside casinos in Vegas, waiting for tourists to take a photo, with the intention of accosting them for payment. Will change my plans of ever visiting due to the employee/manager being an absolute clown. He could make the best brew in the world for all I care, if you're willing to go out of your way to make random folks on the streets feel bad, you need to reassess your attitude.

Niveditha Shenoy

Loved the nectar of the gods coffee :) Great Ambience

Tim Giugni

Super cool double decker bus

Joshua Proctor

This is what coffee should be. Served with a spirit and a purpose. Also the best coffee I’ve ever experienced. Stay and relax. You’ll thank yourself.

Caelan cross

Best Turkish coffee I've ever had

CJ Christopher

ToV is my #1 spot to bring out-of-town friends for coffee. It may just seem like a cool novelty from a glance, but when you step inside, it's Egyptian influence and attention to detail becomes apparent. Everything on the menu is great so I would just suggest getting whatever sounds good, though the Egyptian coffee is really something. The kanakas(small pot) even comes in a hand-made leather and wood serving tray, adorned with hieroglyphics by the owner's brother. I'm always extra careful to avoid getting a drop of coffee on them! There is also a great selection of pastries to pair with your coffee or tea. And cardamom is a lovely common theme for quite a few menu items. Joe, the owner, is always cordial and professional and his staff is top-notch. Plus, it's in the perfect location on Hawthorne to get a coffee and go shopping. Easily 5 out of 5 stars!

J Wethington

Love this spot! Super cool and the staff is always friendly.

Joseph Dasenbrock

Unique place. Egyptian Coffee! Nowhere else like it

Zeke Zager

Phenomenal coffee. It's like a Beverage experience.

Dacoda Nelson

The ambiance and decor are amazing, service is great, and the Egyptian coffee is fantastic. Seating is close but in a friendly and cozy way, rather than feeling cramped.

reem rizk

My husband and I were really craving some Turkish coffee after lunch, and we found this gem after a quick yelp search. This place exceeded our expectations, the Turkish coffee was delicious, my husband even ordered a vanilla iced latte and that was great too. The service was great and the ambiance is relaxed and cool. Highly recommend.

Renee Mellinger

This is such a cool set up! It’s a two deck bus with heaters throughout (winter time right now) I’ve got coffee and my sketch book. Docked one star because I wasn’t a huge fan of my cold brew with mint and cream.

Kieran McCreedy

A coffee shop in a repurposed double-decker bus is already such a unique take on the idea to make this place stand out from the street, but it manages to go further by actually being an excellent stop for coffee in general. A wide array of normal and specialty drinks and very personal service make for a comfortable and culturally nuanced experience and, barring days with extreme weather, the seating here is surprisingly warm and cozy. Well done!

Lina Ho

Such a cool attraction to check out while in Portland. The iced mint coffee was perfection. The owner and barrister were some of the nicest guys we met on our trip. Loved everything about this place.

Eliyah Kilada

Authentic Egyptian drinks and experience. They also offered falafel and Koshari today which were pretty fresh and of best quality.

Adam Segal

This place has the best Turkish coffee. The owner makes the nut miles from scratch. All the drinks are splendid really. Super quaint inside. It's beautifully purple too! Favorite coffee bus

kurt raffield

Great coffee

Zef oy

The most unique and memorable coffee shop in all of Portland, Oregon!

Cameron Richards

I've seen charcoal lattes online and different social media platforms, but I've never heard of one being prepared where I live. I performed some research trying to find a charcoal latte in preparation for my next trip to Portland and I found Tōv. The little shop is located inside of a double decker bus around some other cart businesses. The barista, whose name I don't think I got and I apologize, kindly greeted us and started on our order. We nerded out on coffee preparation equipment, more specifically grinders, and had a great conversation. The latte was one of the best I've had and the espresso was absolutely delicious. If you're in the area and want to try something that a typical coffee shop isn't going to be doing, I definitely recommend Tōv!

Travis Wong

Cool little coffee shop in a double decker bus. Nice bartender

Ashley Lamon

This place is amazing. Hands down a respectable establishment full of culture and beauty! Not only do you get a delicious cup of Egyptian coffee but you get a tradition which will be up held. Do not try to cream the tradition for you will be intercepted. (No cream in the Egyptian coffee). We respected and loved the service thank you for the lesson! We will be back

Mark Stuebe

Fresh and original The vibe was colorful and fun, and the coffee choices were new and exciting for me. I got the the charcoal and cream latte, which was so delicious with a nice chalky texture. My girl got the rose mocha latte and honestly it was the best rose mocha I have ever had. Other places is overpowering with the rose. But this place has it nice and light, the perfect amount. Overall great and memorable experience. You definitely have to check this out if your in Portland! When else will you see a double decker cafe bus?!

Mirkwood11

Great atmosphere, the top deck of the bus can be really nice when the weather is nice. Coffee is also excellent and they have some unique and delicious specialty drinks!

Claire Metcalfe

Love it here! The atmosphere and personality is wonderful! Cute tiny double decker with a cozy seating area above. Worth a visit a d a good chat!

Corbin Root

I moved into the neighborhood around the same time as the Tov bus opened up, upon stumbling into the colorful bus on the corner my interest was peaked. After hearing the owner's story and enjoying one of the best Damm lattes of my life. I found myself a regular of the lovely atmosphere and attentively made drinks (also do yourself a favor and try some of the bakery good). The owner is passionate about what he does and the business he operates. The fact that he can maintain drink prices at the level of stomptown and Starbucks and a higher level of consistency (and in my opinion tastier beverages) is attributed to the amount of hard work and time that has been invested into making this absolute must visit for anyone passing through the SE.

Matt Cocomise

great hangout spot, atmosphere, and customer service. Recommend the sahlep!!!

Charles Spahn

These guys are stewards of a great experience, cold brew and soy milk ice cubes?! This place does it right no BS. Every experience here has been a pleasure.

Sara Batson

Unique Egyptian themed coffee shop with great options. Plenty of alternative milk offered including macadamia nut milk!

Benjamin Shepherd

The upper deck provides a beautiful view for enjoying overpriced, bad-tasting coffee drinks that take well over fifteen minutes to prepare. Excellent location, such that every few months I tell myself "maybe it won't be so bad this time" and then get disappointed once again. Will I ever learn?

Erin Syrupy

This coffee bus is curated and cared for beautifully. There are heaters upstairs to keep you cozy in the winter. The Egyptian coffee will put a zing and spring in your step and wash your taste buds with robust strong flavor. Can't wait to try the whole menu!

Darin DePasquale

Amazing. Eqypitan inspired coffee

Shane Stricker

Coffee and sweets on a double decker bus just oozing with character. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were fair. What more could you ask?

I have no words for how much I love this place, it's so small and cozy, I bring all my friends from out of town here for coffee & tea all the time, costumer service is a 10/10, the not so secret menu is creative filled with occational seasonal drinks and just delicious, if you want high quality coffee here is the place to be.

Kevin Short

I wished we could have hung around for a while, since you have to stay there if you want the Egyptian coffee, which they serve in small china cups. Tov is a converted London double decker bus...it's possible I rode this exact vehicle in yonder years...amid a neighborhood of several food trucks.

Tamara Fritz

I haven't had Egyptian coffee in a long time and this place really hit the spot. Had coffee, sahlep, and a mocha that was absolutely great. Some great space upstairs and it's warm even on a chilly day! Very welcoming.

Cute environment with kind service. Turkish coffee was bright with cardamom (a bit heavy on the cardamom). The coffee was well made which was a pleasant surprise due to my past experience with Turkish coffee brewing but would be curious how it would taste without the added cardamom. Overall, a fun place to go when you’re out for a stroll and want to relax and have a chat. This wouldn’t be a place I would go to work or a place I would go out of my way to see unless I was in the neighborhood. But if you’re here in the neighborhood, you won’t be disappointed by checking it out.

Good place for enjoying coffee

Beautiful decore to match a fantastic cup of coffee

Kind owner, delicious coffee, and wonderful ambiance. Seated in a double decker bus, the second floor is protected from the elements, but has an openness that keeps it from getting stuffy like other cafes. The decoration is quaint and calm, and the cup I received my charcoal activated latte in was beautiful. The drink itself was well balanced and sat exceptionally well with me. I will be back :)

This was one of the best coffee "experiences" I had on my visit to the northwest. The pour-over was perfect, the environment was comfortable, charming and quite unusual. I would drive well out of my way to stop here again. The friendly man working there on Sunday morning was a most enjoyable host.

Jordannah Rhodes

Lovely ambiance and such a creative idea! Coffee was so rich and delicious

Scott Standish-Parkin

This awesome tea and coffee shop is not only unique, but probably one of the most interesting ones around in Portland. This is one of those 10 best tea/coffee shops in a top 10 book of things to do in Portland. The owner Joe is a real fantastic guy and the combinations of drinks he has will offer something unique to any patron. You have to make this spot a "must go to" on your list. I suggest trying the "Rose mocha" iced or any other drink on the "secret menu"

Best coffee eveeeeerrrrrrr

Sarah Boeres

Sharply dressed & kind staff. The house made chocolate syrups are rich & make for an excellent variety of mochas.

Ethan Kalcheff

What a cool place!! So glad I stumbled upon it. The decorations are gorgeous, and the guy working at the counter was so nice! Best hot chocolate I've ever had, easily

Barett McGavock

I got 85% cooler just by walking in here! Fantastic coffee. I'm not personally into Turkish Delight, but I'm told those were tasty too.

Christy Turner

Great atmosphere. Owner is super not certain, excellent service, and his mom makes all the goodies (except one).

Carolyn ZM

Mmmmm coffee... Coming from San Francisco and the land of Philz Coffee that's so full of rich flavor, I truly appreciate the greatness here at Tov. Thank you so much!

Miranda Bonifield

Oh, how I wish I lived closer! Tov is often crowded and a tad slow, and you see why when you taste the smooth wonder that is their coffee. Their Egyptian coffee is dark, spicy, and coffee-sweet rather than sugar-sweet. The Turkish delight makes me believe in magic. I no longer have questions about why Edmund wanted it from the White Witch in Narnia.

Jennifer Langley

What a wonderful way to enjoy a cup of coffee!

Adam Scolatti

Such a cool spot with and awesome vibe. I went simple with my order and it was solid. I’ll be back for something more fun and with cardamom.

Michelle Schardt

Excellent and unique beverages and atmosphere. For the intrepid traveler who is stuck home.

Cassie Brandt

Great coffee the staff needs to cut back on the caffeine.. cool bus.

Anthony Szabo

Amazing service. Meticulous preparation. The Mint Thing will change your life.

Celina Flores

Every time I go to Tov, I'm delighted by the whimsy of a coffee shop inside a double decker bus. Not to mention the coffee. It's delicious and of the highest quality. They once had a charcoal vanilla latte on special. It was a creamy dream. Today I got a salted caramel latte that is creamy and delicious. They also have Egyptian coffee, which seems to be their specialty. I highly recommend this coffee shop. I hope they stick around for a long time.

Angel Emie

The coffee was unlike anything I've ever had. The baristas were nice and efficient. We didn't wait long despite the long line. They took their time to explain the coffee to the tourists. Totally worth going out of your way for, and surrounded by food trucks if you also want food.

Jana Miller

The quality of the drinks is on point and the baristas are nice and knowledgeable. You can tell they are very passionate especially the owner.

Moe

This is a really unique and fun location for Egyptian coffee and tea. It features traditional Egyptian culture different than the classic stereotype. It is placed in a big red bus,, where the roof top is decked out in couches, fun fabrics, and tables. The walls are lined with Egyptian historical pictures. Now onto the drinks...Joseph has created a menu that reminds me of the street drinks in Egypt. One of the featured drinks is Sahlap, which is a hot, milky drink with cinnamon and pistachio that is found throughout the Middle East...perfect for a cold day. This is the only place in Portland with sahlap so far. Karkadea is a iced, sweet hibiscus drink. All the drinks are fresh and amazing!!

Emad Tadrous

Awesome coffee and Joseph is the reason for everything at this place!
