I have been searching for a great coffee shop since I moved to Oklahoma and have found it. I'm from New Hampshire and live on ice coffee and love that I found this place. I love the different flavor choices and the sandwiches are great. Yes they seem a bit pricey, but it is worth it for me. I recommend this place to anyone whose looking for a great coffee shop.

Coffee is fine, good variety of flavors, usually not too crowded, but with few exceptions the employees all act like they're disinterested and dislike their jobs. There's one man with glasses and a beard who is great and actually seems happy, but he's seldom there when I am. Usually I get a very surly woman. I'll probably just start driving the extra five minutes to get to Starbucks.

The Underground is the best place to get a great cup of coffee in Midwest City. If you are wanting a basic cup of coffee or a fancy triple shot, caramel macchiato over ice, The Underground is the place to go. Their selection is huge, with so many options. Coffee-lovers and even non-coffee lovers are bound to find something they will love. They have all the traditional coffee drinks (Mochas, Lattes, Cappuccinos, etc...) but they also have options for non-coffee lovers (frappuccinos, iced teas, hot teas, fruit smoothies, and Italian cream sodas). On top of great drinks, they also sell sandwiches, muffins, and other snack-y items. This is a great place to do homework or meet with friends. The staff is great and is always so friendly. They will even give suggestions on things you may like to try if you aren't quite sure what you may like. I love the Underground not only because I love to support local businesses, but because they provide amazing quality products with great service. If you are in Midwest City, give them a try and I promise you will be hooked.

I’ve been going to the Underground since they opened 12 years ago. Great atmosphere and great service. The staff all knows me by name and always takes care of me when I come in to the coffee shop. The Fit Frap is my go to now, what’s better than protein mixed with coffee? Nothing. I have no complaints what so ever and anyone that does is probably just having a bad day themselves.

I think that you guys should clean your espresso machine and coffee maker better. The first time I went I ordered two hazelnut iced lattes. They tasted strongly of mildew and were watered down, with little ice. It was like drinking old milk. Neither him or I even drank a fourth of the thing. I figured it was a bad batch and decided to try it again on another day. We ordered a black eye and a psl. Again tasted of mildew and there goes like $20 wasted on drinks we couldn't stomach. I hear the tea is better. I don't know.

First off i am from Seattle, the mecca of coffee shops. My standards are super high as far as it goes for little coffee joints. But i like to see how other cities tweak and compile coffee drink locations....which is why i sought this company out. This one had a cool, laid back vibe. They have a list of house specials which include the Batman, London Fog, and something which is called the $87 dollar drink (thats just the name). This place is quiet and chill....perfect for reading a book, studdying, meeting up with friends or just hiding out for a few moments. They have some breakfast items (two...its limited but will work in a pinch) and make sandwiches...both are nice. Drinks are a bit on the sweet side...but i am not removing a star for this - i suspect i am just not used to as much flavoring, and my request for less would have been honored had i asked. They do have a drive through, which is sweet. Their parking lot is a bit small, but there is ample parking in the adjacent lots. Its a smidge hard to find, the sign outsign is a bit understated....but honestly its called underground coffee - would you want it anyother way?? The u-turn was totally worth it. It fully meets my standards of coffee joints, but it does it in a way i feel is authentic to the local area. Great place, would return again.

Only giving it a 3 star due to being unreliable. I don't know if this is a current trend but lately when I show up they aren't ready or open in the morning. Opening hours say 6am and they aren't ready. This isn't the first time this has happened. The coffee is great and its the only place a go to but if it says open at 6 so when someone arrives at 6:15 the doors need to be open and ready for customers.

Been coming here for a year or two now; quiet and relaxed atmosphere perfect for studying or a chat with friends. The coffee is much better than any other coffee I've had in the city and much better priced! High quality and a local favorite to recommend to anyone that comes into town or to those who have never been before.

This small coffee shop is one that my friends and I keep coming back to. While you can't bring outside food or drink, they have several comfortable seating arrangements and a varied menu, from 99 cent kids hot chocolate to a variation of one of their specialty drinks. If a certain drink is too sweet for you, add an expresso shot. Some of my favorite drinks are the $87 latte, blended batman with extra shot, and their ultimate hot chocolate, which uses three different types of chocolate. They also sell paintings, pens, cards, and other various products to help out other artists in the community. They also use a punch card reward system in which you get a free drink at ten punches. Don't forget to tip!

This is a solid coffee shop. Good hot and cold coffees and teas. Smoothies, baked goods and even sandwiches. Drive-thru or grab a seat on a couch or outdoor table. But what makes this locally-owned shop exemplary is their Masala Chai. Spicy, sweet, and creamy, this is top-notch. Not from a powder or concentrate, but a loose blend of real ingredients. I've been visiting this coffee shop for four years now and can only think of one bad experience, but it was at their Tinker location and the issue was rectified immediately. This coffee shop I love because it doesn't have the commercialized feel like Starbucks. They have nice couches and tables to sit at and enjoy coffee. They have later hours than most other smaller coffee shops around town. Their caramel underground is to die for! They have drinks for every walk of life. I now eat healthy and exercise for the last two years so I drink their fit frappe, which is a blended protein shake with like 22 grams of protein. It's mixed with only water and ice unless you ask otherwise. The workers are very sweet. At one point, I was drinking the fit frappes all the time at both locations and because I came in so often, they often could guess what I wanted. The moca and chocolate fit frappes are my favorite. Love this place!

I've been coming to this place for years and I highly recommend it. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is perfect to study or get work done.
