Never been to the Shoppe, I found Higher Grounds Coffee in our local Homeland. I buy literally every bag of Highlander Grog and Southern Pecan every time I see they have restocked it. Absolutely my favorite coffee of all time. I'm not some connoisseur or anything, but I think I'll keep buying this coffee as long as their selling it and I'm still alive!

Great coffee and great location. Higher Grounds has a fairly large menu. Everyone should be able to find something they like. Very spacious for a coffee shop. Plenty of chairs and tables to spread out no matter the size of the group.

Had the soup and sandwich and hot mocha. The only thing that was excellent was the pickle. If the most important thing to you is a highly Xian atmosphere, they have that covered. You can't even get a soup spoon otherwise.

Great atmosphere and fresh foods. The coffee is great as well. Baked goods according to my colleagues are wonderful. I realize I might be a little picky, but though the sandwich bursts with flavor of the marinade it is mostly bread. My Italian panini ( a very thick bread) had maybe 4 very very thin slices of meat that had no taste of salami at all. They tossed on a couple slices of pepperoncinis, and lots of red peppers and tomato, a slice of cheese and grilled. A sad little unflavorful dill pickle accompanied it. The bread was wonderful, but I only ate 1/2 and will take other half home to put something on it. It will not go to waste. I had ordered a Wedge Salad with Bleu cheese dressing. Very fresh, somewhat uneventful, but the dressing was very very good. The Croutons that go with it really make the salad pop. I have had the soups before and they are good and interesting for the taste buds. I know I will be back. The coffee is wonderful and the biscuits are delicious.

I got a scone and a bagel, and the scone was so hard I couldn't even break it apart. The bagel was really hard as well. I ended up having to throw them both away. The coffee was good, the service was fast, and it has a nice atmosphere, but I don't think I'll be getting any food from here again.

I will never come back here. When there are 4 people inside it doesn't take 30 minutes to make a drink. They made the drinks exclusively for the drive through and then when there wasn't anyone in the drive through they STARTED making the drinks for those of us inside. I don't appreciate being late to work because of this.

Truth be told, I’m an atheist, but I still feel really comfortable in this coffee shop. It’s a great place to get work done. I just drink black coffee, which comes with a free refill (and refills after that are 50 cents!). The coffee is great! The design and atmosphere are so cozy. The staff is really sweet and friendly. Great coffee and atmosphere, but super disappointing in how loud they blast their music! If you're looking for a coffee shop to relax and converse, then don't stop here. I've watched patrons continually ask the individuals behind the counter to turn the music down and they refuse to by saying "I can try!" What does that mean anyways? I can try!!!! Just walk over and turn it down! Does the new management support this? Crazy!!!

I went in for a cup of coffee and breakfast as I was passing through the area. My caramel macchiato tasted more like a plain cup of coffee and they didn’t even warm up the cinnamon roll I ordered. Furthermore, the cinnamon roll was stale.

The atmosphere is the most cozy coffee shop I've ever been in. It feels like sitting in your own living room! They even have a fireplace! They offer a lot of different seating options, from conference tables, to an event center to leather couches. Their drink menu doesn't vary far from hot coffee so it may be neat to see more tea or smoothies on the menu.

I love that they offer a drive-thru!! It is wonderful to be able to support local business in a rush on the way to work. The food is amazing! I like to get the yogurt parfait (it comes with house made granola I believe) and an Americano. I have yet to have something I didn't love. The pastries are dangerously can watch out!!

Really lovely coffee house! Comfortable seating with a few couches and puffy chairs by a fire; and an eclectic mix of wooden chairs at tables. Bar seating against a wall offers power outlets for charging electronics. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte - chai latte w/ a shot of espresso - very good and strong. They also have a delicious assortment of pastries to go along w/ your coffee. The decor was charming and cozy. Prices were comparable to most coffee houses. I went to a book club, so my small group was there for a while and we weren't bothered by the employees. The only con is their location - pretty far from those that live and work in south OKC or Moore :'( Otherwise, a fantastic place for a coffee and a chat with friends!

What do people want in a coffee shop? Quiet. Comfort. Pleasant service. And, of course, caffeine! We all want "good" coffee, but sometimes settle for subpar sludge if it does the trick. But, flavor is important to coffee fanatics. You'll settle for nothing at Higher Grounds. Their daily blends are delicious. They don't burn the espresso, like many big box franchises do. And, despite their Christian roots, their pastry selection is downright sinful! They have cannolis, for God's sake! Tread carefully around that display case. Combined with the kind demeanor of the staff and the comfortable atmosphere, Higher Grounds is a little slice of heaven. Early birds and morning zombies alike can find a blissful start to their morning at this locally owned & operated coffee shop. Who knew supporting local business could taste so good?

Been here twice now while visiting from Utah. I have tried about 10 shops in OKC and this is in the top 3. The coffee here is spot on, and the bakery items are awesome. Definitely the best cannoli I have had. The service is fast and incredibly friendly. The shop has tons of seating: couches, lounge chairs, bar tops, work tables and a conference room. Fireplace is great for cold days. Awesome spot.
