I've been to Classen Coffee Co. a number of times. The French Press was phenomenal and they have a good selection of loose leaf teas. However, the manager is consistently rude to his employees. He is loud and demeaning. If he is in the shop, there's no way to escape his overbearing, loud presence. He ruins the vibes (and I'm sure his employees' shifts) in the shop. Until he has a change in behavior, or they find a new manager, I won't be back. Also, the indoor seating needs some work. It feels crowded and awkward.

A nice, quaint coffee shop in the middle of OKC. Even though I've been to these smaller coffee houses before, I was impressed with their service and genuineness. The coffee was about what you would expect from one of these shops, so I wasnt surprised nor was I disappointed. It's nice having familiarity and a touch of nostalgia. What really intrigued me was the architecture. It had a distinct smell - like an old building in the rain. It was comforting. I would definitely go back.

I've tried Classen Coffee three times. The first time, my drink was apparently never made and after waiting 10 minutes, my drink name was called and I went to pick it up then was accused of stealing another patron's drink. The second time was to go so it was fine. The third time I ordered a matcha and ended up having to throw it away because it was so chunky. This was not when they were busy either, it just seems like if you're an all-the-time customer you get great service, and if not, your money and satisfaction really aren't important.

I was seriously disappointed in everything about my visit today. My daughter and I popped in after shopping to enjoy some much needed coffee. She ordered a macchiato, and I ordered a drip brew with room for cream & sugar. First, there were no sooons or any type of utensil to stir my coffee with anywhere. I used a plastic straw, which I don’t like to use straws anyway. No napkins. Anywhere. I sit my coffee on the table to discover its wobbly and it spills my coffee. Again, no napkins. I get some paper towels from a young man behind the counter. My daughter then uses them to fix the wobbly table. I’m trying to use these tiny packets of sugar and a straw on my coffee, only to figure out that the coffee is gross. Burnt, bitter, and some indescribable aftertaste. I couldn’t drink it. My daughter says she’s wondering about her coffee. We look over at the staff. Apparently, no one is making her drink. I look at my receipt. It wasn’t on there. She ordered it. We decided to take that as a sign and leave. Found another coffee shop with good coffee, real spoons, friendly staff, and no wobbly tables.

Woo! I went here the other day for the first time and I had such a lovely time! It’s super cozy and the drinks are great. And it’s pup friendly! They have a great deck which it’s a little hot for right now (there’s not really any coverage and there’s only two tables on the overhang where there’s a shade). Super laid back, the guys who helped me were awesome and so nice. I got a matcha latte (real matcha, not “matcha”) and it was so good! My friend got a tea latte with lavender which was lovely and so calming to drink. Their pastries looked pretty good, too! I definitely recommend coming here if you want to hang out with friends and have a chill, fun time, or study and people watch if that’s your thing!

This conveniently located coffee shop is a must visit. First of all, the coffee/espresso beans they use are incredibly flavorful. The drip, cap, lat or iced options are plentiful. Parking is great. The decor/design and open floor plan are fantastic. The patio is tops amongst any metro coffee house.

Came here last week for work. I did not have coffee, to be fair. There is a room in the back portion of the shop that you can reserve and use for a few hours for a small group 3 - 5 people. There are soft chairs and a sliding door to the other side to keep noise down. Minus 1 star as this is also how you get to the restrooms, but overall this was a great spot. Also, free wifi.

Traveling through OKC, called the shop to make sure pets were OK on the patio, whoever answered the phone was super friendly and very inviting. I took a break from our travels, had a cup of drip and a muffin on the patio. They even gave me a bowl of water for my dog! Cute coffee shop, very clean, awesome service today. Just what I needed to get me through the next leg of my road trip! THANK YOU!

Nestled on the northwest corner of.Classen Boulevard and NW 24rd Street, Classen Coffee resides within a white stucco exterior structure converted from a residential building. There are several outdoor seating lining the exterior wall with a patio that would be a great space in cooler weather. The interior space is broken up into two rooms; one facing the barista section and the other leads to two gender-neutral restrooms. The stained concrete floors, dark wood furnishing and exposed brick walls add a sense of rawness and coziness. The menu is simple and straightforward. The cold brew tasted watered down and so, that was a little disappointing for my first experience. I like the ambience of the space and with decent wifi strength, this may be an alternate third space for meeting with friends and clients. Will return again to give the coffee another try.

I will NEVER come back to this place. I come get coffee here multiple times a week but after the interaction I had with one of the coffee makers today, I will never come back. I went in this morning and asked for a cortado. I have ordered a cortado at this place more time than I can count. I actually bought 2 last week. The one I received today was way too strong and tasted differently than all the other cortado's I have bought there. So I went in to ask them what it was that they gave me. She told me a cortado and then tried to educate me on what a cortado actually is and then told me that what I really wanted was a cappuccino and that I should order that next time so I get what I want. Well what I really want is for you to make them the way everyone else has made them here in the recent past. I dont need a coffee lesson. A cappuccino has frothed milk, I did not want frothed milk, I wanted coffee drink with equal parts espresso and steamed milk, which is a Cortado. Management needs to correct this type of behavior. The old adage an angry customer will tell 10 people about the exprience rings true.

This is a great looking coffee shop in a great location. It's perfect for a quiet afternoon for work or a quick meet up with friends. The coffee itself is overpriced. I had ordered a house coffee with cream it it was around $3.50. Then I went back for a refill and they wanted to charge me another $1.25 or something. I am not normally a guy labeled as "cheap" but this was a bit ridiculous. Why would I go back when there are a dozen places around town with free coffee refills? If you plan to go for a visit, enjoy the atmosphere, but plan to pay for it.

I ordered a 12oz Chai Latte, and they asked if I wanted to try it "dirty". What the heck, why not. So they added two shots of espresso to it. I loved it! Not too bitter, though it's on the sweeter side. Once I added a tip it was a little pricey at around $6 but it's definitely the place I'll go to from now on to treat myself.

Small coffee house vibe. They offer your basic choice of brew options for coffee and tea. They have a small selection of bagel, Danish or coffee brought in from Ingrid's but otherwise that's it for fresh snacks. Was a 20 something crowd but comfortable atmosphere. Very friendly staff that took my order with charm and prepared it efficiently! I didn't bother to ask about their espresso but I got a plain iced latte and it was very good with no syrup. It is also awesome that they are open on Sunday and after 3pm!

From tables with a cushioned bench or a couch and chairs in the back room. It is a very cool older building, they remodeled, but kept the cool character. We will be back.

Classen coffee was ddddddddddOPE. Really nice staff, great coffee, and a truly unique venue. Something about the all white slab and how it's tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood just made the entire visit special and comfortable. Always great to see some Kllr coffee on the shelves when you walk in! The inside was clean and vibrant, they were busy but still had plenty of seating options. Just a great trip all around and I'll definitely be back next time I'm near 23rd!

That’s $30/lb....For coffee. Checked Killr coffee price on their website and it’s the same. I’m all for buying fair trade local etc, but this is getting out of hand. I can get high quality, fair trade pretty much anywhere for half that price.

Had a great experience at Classen Coffee Co! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you're not sure what you want, they can help you find something you'll love. All the drinks are made well and taste great. The inside of the shop is cozy with tons of outlets and a couple of TVs. The deck/patio is a fun place for conversation and people watching. The building itself is an old restoration that has been updated with modern touches without losing the charm of some of the most unique features from the original construction. As a bonus, this is one of the ONLY coffee shops in this part of town with a drive thru! Check them out - you will not be disappointed!

Very cool, inviting ambience and friendly baristas. I’m in love with their decor. What I didn’t like was that the sofas weren’t clean and had lot of hair and dust sticking to them. The restrooms were well maintained though. Vanilla latte was amazing but the Hazelnut one was meh. Would not recommend that. But I now regret not trying their Vanilla Lavender Latte. Will definitely be back here to try that out on my next visit to OKC.

Tried it 3x bc I enjoy the convenience of a drive thru Ice coffee w/carmel swirl and a splash of almond milk (standard $1.50 surcharge everywhere) Not sure whats going on with their ice cofee & cold brews, but its not for me! All 3x I had to go back in to try and remedy the mop water, and even paid an additional 1.50 bc their was no carmel flavor their was no almond milk. It was literally gag. I just walked out on the thrid time leaving the coffee bc it was my own lesson learned. Im just a gril who loves cold brews not today - not today.

Do you ever watch Friends and think, 'man, I wished my city had a Central Perk'? Well, Oklahoma City, THIS is it! (They even have a couch in the back room with a similar setup.) Classen Coffee Co. is OKC's newest coffee shop and it is a hit! Great coffee and tea selection, tons of outlets, a student discount, open later than most coffee shops, and quick service (for those running late to work but still need their fix). Oh, and did I forget to mention the drive-thru?! AMAZING.

They have good coffee and a decent atmosphere, but it does seem to be a little on the overpriced side of things to me, especially for drip coffee. There are several places around with similar atmosphere and good coffee but better pricing. Overall, I drop in occasionally here but I wouldn't consider myself a regular. I might be if their pricing was more competitive.

Ugh, I LOVE THIS PLACE! Their staff is impeccably nice, knowlegable and friendly. They're always tolerant of my rambling and so incredibly sweet to me. A little chilly during the winter, but their patio makes for a fantastic meeting spot during the nice days. Their lavender flavored syrup goes stupendously well in my favorite drip coffee, and their wifi never disappoints. It is a bit cramped during their busier hours, and I hope to see them expand soon!

Best shop in OKC that I have found. I am visiting from the northwest and have tried about 8 or 9 coffee shops here in town. This is by far my favorite. The coffee is always great, the inside and out is perfect for getting work done or just hanging out on the couches. The best part, however, is the employees. They are always above and beyond friendly, helping an out-of-towner with local knowledge and advice. I would highly recommend giving this local shop your business. Only recommendation would be to have a little more variety in the snack-food offerings. A+
