Service was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Value: over-priced. My mocha cappuccino was more bitter than sweet, not very frothy, served with the obligatory shape in what foam there was. Desserts were hard & crumbly with indefinite shelf lives instead of cakes or tiramisu. The staff was welcoming, polite, attentive and maintained the premises well. Glaring, too-bright light sans soft seating seemed wrong. Winding down a Saturday night, I'd hoped for a mellow lounge-like feel. Not here. One straight, line-of-sight layout. No conversation areas of couches and coffee tables. Hard-floor echo chamber school cafeteria instead of subdued blend-in anonymity.

Service was OK until the latte art started then everyone interested in that swarmed the bar so there went the service. I standed there waiting at the bar and practically had to wave my money to get someones attention. They bartender was too busy folding little pieces of paper for the game. To boot, I counted my change afterwards and was shorted! Will never go back!

I come here often for breakfast and have no complaints. Good coffee, open faced toast and granola are always consistently good too. I just had lunch here for the first time and I'm so annoyed and disappointed. I ordered the caprese sandwich (a $9 sandwich served on it's own) and it is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. It's about the size of the palm of my hand, one tiny layer of mozzarella, one thin tomato slice CUT IN HALF, about 6 pieces of arugula and a splash of balsamic. All served on the saddest, untoasted pieces of bread I've ever encountered. I can't remind the last time I got my order at a restaurant and thought they were joking. Evoke needs to either drastically improve that sandwich or charge about half as much for it. What an absolute ripoff.

We stop in with the kids before school sometimes from some quality time and a quick bite. We love the chill atmosphere. The service is excellent and the food is wonderful. They have a small variety of coffees and teas. You cant go wrong with anyone that you pick. Today we stopped on for a mid bike ride bite and its was fairly busy around 10am-11am but the service was still fast. This is one of my favorite spots to go to in Edmond hands down.

Hated it. Terrible food. Subpar service. I will never go back. I ordered three items: 1. Grilled cheese Panini with goat cheese. When paying $8-$9 dollars for a grilled cheese you would expect something decent. Instead, the cheddar cheese was sprinkled sparingly in the very center of the bread and the goat cheese was also only spread in the very center. Leaving the outer edges of the sandwich dry, hard bread. It was awful. I sent it back with a request for additional cheese to be added to make it edible. When it came back to the table a slice of cold cheese had been added to each half of the now room temperature sandwich. I was shocked. 2. Hummus and veggies. The hummus was delicious! But it came with 5, thin, quarter sized, slices of cucumbers. What? Are you serious? This was to share with friends. I requested additional "veggies" and only received a few small pieces of carrots. 3. Iced coconut green tea. I have neither good nor bad to say about the tea. It was ok. I remain neutral there. To add to the terrible Panini, the service really lacked. I had asked for splenda twice and finally was told they were out. I also had to request the veggies for my hummus twice before receiving anything. On top of that, my friend ordered a mocha iced latte which sat the baristas bar for a few minutes without anyone calling her name or bringing it to her. I finally asked if it was hers (she had her back facing the bar) and she had to go ask. It was, in fact, hers. I guess they expected her to guess when it was ready. Again, I will never go back. They will never again have 1 of my hard earned dollars.

We arrived at 915pm and were finally served just coffee at 10PM. The Cappuccino was luke warm and seemed to consist entirely of milk. My Americano was horribly bitter with a slightly metallic taste. In addition the customer service was lacking. No I'm sorry for your wait or anything. The atmosphere was stark and cold. Far from the hipness they are apparently trying for. Me and the two others in my party were extremely disappointed. Over priced beverages that were unpalatable made for an over all lack luster experience. We wont be back!

Pros: Honestly, I love this place's latte's. The espresso they make here is simply to die for. I have always loved the music and clean atmosphere. The customers here are usually very nice and even bring in there cute littles sometimes. The grilled cheese is so good (a little pricey) and the goat cheese is what makes it. The tea they have also is very good. They also have incredible seasonal flavors like orange cardamom or nutmeg latte. Cons: SOMETIMES, the staff comes across as too superior to be talking to you. It's like they think they are winning in a popularity contest because they work here. They used to have some incredible staff, like the thin woman named Cindy or Sydney I think it was. She was incredibly friendly and sweet. The manager Kyle is pretty fun and cool but even he can be a bit standoffish. Their drip coffee is way too fruity and citrusy to drink black. It does not taste like traditional american coffee AT ALL (probably because it's not) but if thats your thing then you'll love it! the grey booths feel as though they are sticking to your skin when you've been sitting there for a time. REASON WHY I AM NOT GOING BACK TO EVOKE Lastly, the issue that has made me give this place just two stars. I was extremely disappointed when I saw that they had a "PRIDE BLEND" displayed on the shelves in front of the store. I am all for small businesses having their opinions, but to make a display of it? Also, it felt as if it wasn't even for the cause of the pride movement, but rather just a social status thing to look modern. I have since stopped going, and I was a very regular customer because of this. If small businesses don't want to hurt themselves, they should stop making their buildings propaganda for a specific cause that many people DO NOT agree with. Not only was I a regular customer, but you could guarantee I would bring all my friends and family to this place for anything at all. From birthdays to grabbing coffee after the gym with my sister. I won't be going back because it really isn't right to use a space in the public eye that should be neutral as a battle ground for common political issues unless you want some of your customers to be unsettled and uncomfortable.

This coffee shop is so upscale, I felt so boughie, haha. The pricing is very fair though. My ONE issue with the place is the PURE white countertop. I tried to scooch my coffee mug a little away from me so I could read on my phone and it toppled off the counter and broke. The guy behind the counter was so cool about it though, he made me a fresh drink and everything. I was just so mortified because of how loud it was. To show you what I'm talking about look at the edge of the countertop in the photo. The yellow line is roughly where the edge is. I honestly don't know how to fix that though, maybe some like lights or something? It's such a nice countertop you wouldn't want to put anything like reflective tape on it, but idk the dang thing is virtually imperceptible haha. Anyway, yeah, your shop is awesome, I'll definitely go back and buy more coffee for sure.

This is an excellent coffee shop, the coffee is high quality and well worth your dollar. It's better than some coffee shops in LA and certainly better than Starbucks. It's also in a college community, but last time I was here it was used as a study space, so it was nice and quiet.

Although the service and food tasted great. The one star comes from the lack of a warning of peanuts in their menu. If an item is made in house there should be a disclaimer of allergen risks. My spouse after 2 bites began going into anaphylactic shock due to peanut butter in the food. We immediately had to leave in order to address the issue. Thankfully we had medication but this could have been a horrible situation for my family due to a lack of a disclaimer in the menu.

This place shuts down their kitchen at 2pm. It does NOT serve all day breakfast. If you want to go somewhere just to sit, drink coffee/non coffee and alcoholic beverages, then I would say stop by. The atmosphere is basic.

If I were to judge based solely on coffee I would give 5 stars. The baristas are very experienced and knowledgeable. The blends that they use are well picked and go well for the season. Arguably the best cafe in the area. However. The food, while creative, is pricy. And the dishes I have had are not well rounded and leave you wanting more on the side. The savory dishes are too heavy and the light dishes too light. On the positive side though, the waffles are some of the fluffiest waffles I have ever seen. They're huge! If you love waffles and you love coffee. This is the place to go.

Not my favorite spot. Has good coffee but the atmosphere is not the most relaxing. Furniture is more aesthetically pleasing then comfortable. Its geared way more towards coffee aficionados and has a high energy vibe. Just not my thing. Probably someone else's. To each their own but I prefer plush chairs, smooth jazz, and the smell of coffee and old books.

I had no idea it was going to be a coffee bar, but it's really a neat place. I met a client here to discuss her wedding photography plans, it was her idea to meet here. She ordered a cappuccino and they made a design in the cream. He had a cold drink I'd never heard of. The people behind the counter were really nice. I loved the atmosphere. If I have another opportunity to meet a client in Edmond again, I'll recommend we meet here for sure!!!

Located in picturesque downtown Edmond, Café Evoke is a delightful coffee house dedicated to serving exceptional coffee. The coffee had a clean, robust taste. The breakfast options could be expanded. The atmosphere, while lively and inviting, could include furniture better suited for reading. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my visit to Café Evoke. I would recommend that others come by as well.

I got a dirty Chai and my husband and cousin got a vanilla latte. My Chai was ok, it made my tummy kinda hurt a little later and my cousin didn't care for her latte. We were on a test drive and the car sales man, Alex from Carmax, said his coffee was really strong. The place looks swanky and they had Gluten-free oatmeal which was pretty cool. Overall my favorite coffee spot is Grey Owl in Norman.

I had the blueberry waffles and the blueberries were not fresh with some kind of sweet sauce on them. There was a lot of lemon curd and that's mainly all you could taste. My girlfriend loves there coffee but this time she didn't drink it all. Maybe they just had an off day seeing all the good reviews. This is just not my place

The aesthetic at Evoke is strong. You can tell people go here for a quality cup of coffee and not necessarily for a place to relax. While “relaxing” may not be the first word that comes to your mind for this shop, they have tons of seating and plenty of outlets for any student or employee who needs to get some work done. Around the table we had a chai latte, iced vanilla latte, and a couple of Americanos. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and I have a feeling I will be back given the chance I come back to Downtown Edmond.
