This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
There are A LOT of coffee shops in the metro (theres a chance ive been to nearly all of them), but not many hold a candle to this one. A good coffee shop starts with good coffee. You'd think that'd be a no brainer, but some places just haven't figured it out. The coffee is so good, they even mask the detestable flavor of sugar free syrups. The pastries are scrumptious. I havent tried any of their other food so I cant vouch for that. Everyone is always very friendly and the service is quick. This location is open and airy. Lots of big tables inside and theres an outside patio area with little tables and chairs. I will be taking advantage of that this fall. My only complaint is that I want another location closer to me! Come a little further west down memorial or maybe put one in the Village? Pretty please?
I love this place so much I go there almost everyday but sometimes when I’m there there’s a worker who will make my drink and he quite almost never mixes it, I always see him messing on his phone instead of helping the customer at the front (including me), and the one time I try to get him to fix the drink, he never fixed it. Generally a great place, but when he’s there I’m just tempted to leave because I know I’m not going to get the quality I usually get. I would just make sure you train your workers to have good customer service
Love Aspen coffee the coffee is very good and the employees are nice
I love this ace
The coffee is great and the people re so nice!
Great place to get coffee
Great little coffee shop, very friendly, clean environment! They also offer a rewards card which many smaller coffee shops do not do. Ps. Try the cinnamon bun warmed up! Delicious!
Still love this place. I have reviewed it before and can't wait to go again. Always a great place to bring people for tea or coffee. Sterile decor, but still comfortable and welcoming.
Love this place. Great coffee and you gotta try their turnovers!
Nice place...good atmosphere. But the iced coffee wasn't very good.
One of my favorite location! Highly recommend
Nice warm friendly place like glass windows
Great coffe and food.
Really good service!!!
The staff is friendly and they offer a nice variety of different meal and dessert options. The atmosphere is very relaxing and there are a lot of people on their computers taking care of business and school work.
Everything was good as always. Just their structure for orders needs working.
Great staff, great place, and great coffee what more to ask for? I recommended the caramel granita!!!
The best Chocolate Granada, hands down.
Best dirty chai latte I've ever tasted. Very friendly staff.
Gotta love local coffee houses. Right?
Great service! Great place to sit and chat or get some work done. The staff is friendly. Is often busy so seating can be limited.
Cheaper then Starbucks
You simply cannot beat the quality of Aspen Coffee anywhere in town. But whereTF did the menu on the wall go? I feel violated. Im guessing they took it down specifically because of people like me who stand there for 37 minutes in a menu trance even though I get the exact same thing every time. Or perhaps Aspen participated in an unpublished new trial which proved conclusively that unexpected change-induced rage makes coffee taste better, because my latte was exceptionally good today. But until I suffer from severe Alzheimers and need a gigantic reminder of where I just walked into, I like me an old school wall menu, preferably chalkboard with lots of colors. I love you Aspen. I love you so much I want to marry you and have your baby. But let's leave the paper menus for struggling Mediterranean cafes and lost dog fliers.
By no means a copy of what's in Stillwater, and that's great! Aspen Edmond feels like it's own place yet still has the same great spirit as the Stillwater locations. Highly recommended!
The best chai in town!
Friendly staff and great coffee!
Fantastic Coffee. Great staff. Fast internet. And an Owner that actually cares!!!
Sufficiently excellent business operation, with swift service, courteous employees, competitive bean juice prices, and abundant seating. Though the east window seating is quite harsh from the day's new sun. It is a sad reality that they are from Stillwater. Boomer Sooner!
Good coffee and breakfast. It's really nice there. Especially on rainy days.
Atmosphere is excellent and so is the service!
Always a pleasure when stopping in here. Glad to see a Stillwater favorite make its way to Edmond. My personal favorite coffee here is the Brazil. I reccomend trying if it is currently brewed up.
Always a fantastic cup of coffee and super nice people. My favorite coffee shop!!
i've never felt more out of place as a black person
Great coffee and the workers were extremely friendly.
Good little local coffee shop. They have a big selection of breakfast and lunch items. Espresso drinks can be hit and miss due to barista training. If you want great (honestly, world class) espresso in Edmond, go to Evoke. However, Aspen still offers good drinks made on a real espresso machine, unlike the big chains.
One of the best Chai Lattes I've had in years. Staff is fun and friendly. Great selection of wraps and sandwiches. My friend ordered a specialty coffee and loved it. Go check them out.
Nice people, great coffee, and lovely atmosphere! Great place to meet, read, study, or help your kid with homework!
When I lived here this is primarily where I went for coffee. If you have a square cash card you get $1 off any purchase you make here too.
what is with the service here? not taking names so you can yell out weird coffee names? I saw it done to other people and our order. staff standing around not really being attentive to the people waiting? coffee is good but your service needs to change
Been singing the praises of Aspen Coffee since the 90's at the original Stillwater location. The Edmond location features the same great quality. Aspen was one of the first in the state to offer locally roasted coffee to the consumer. You can't beat their "Fast Eddies Espresso." One thing that doesn't get mentioned a lot is their superior quality whole bean coffee, which is usually sold for much less than other places who's roasts/blends are comparable if not lacking. Love me some Aspen!
The coffee shop gets it’s coffee locally from Norman, Oklahoma and has a great selection of different coffee and tea drinks. The place is great for getting work done and it has a peaceful feeling. My only criticism is they don’t do pour overs, and I believe pour overs to hold a lot of importance as a way to measure the coffee’s taste and staff’s coffee technique and experience. But don’t just take my word for it, go try it out!
The workers are friendly and the environment is lit dimly, nice for hang outs. I got the Chai latte and it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I enjoyed studying there! Next time, I would bring my friends to only chill!
Consistently good. Lots of options on where to sit. Great WiFi. Thanks, dudes.
Fun atmosphere and good coffee. Much better than your typical chain coffee place. Good for reading and conversation. Have long tables in the middle encouraging meeting others.
A great spot in Edmond for taking a break and getting a coffee. They have fresh in store baked mini cinnamon rolls that are a great accompaniment to your morning coffee. If you come early you can sometimes get them right out of the oven.
Love this place! Great coffee, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly customer service. One of my favorite spots to read and study. You guys rock!
great coffee shop! Love the granita and the Lavender Lattes
Good coffee, good food. The food is made per order so it takes a few extra minuets. The overall atmosphere seemed lacking but in the end it's a nice spot to have coffee and a breakfast burrito with friends.
Loved their frapps!!
Great service and great price for handcrafted coffees!
Delicious Americano every time - and quick.
Living in Stillwater since Aspen started, it's refreshing to go to this shop and still see the Santa Fe and Moab on the menu, etc. There are lots of pros and only a few cons... like not enough seating because of all the laptop campers. But that's cool because I used to be a happy Aspen camper, too. Go to Aspen and embrace local. And try these Kize bars made in Oklahoma. They're excellent, albeit a little pricey. But worth it.
Amaretto Flavor- Aspen Coffee Company is the only place that has it, plus many more flavorings. They started out of Stillwater Oklahoma. It's long before Starbucks was there. The staff is always awesome.
My favorite coffee place in town. The staff is marvelous and the coffee is even better. I love their selection of lattes, perfect for sweets and donuts.
Cute place. Coffee was good!
One of my favorite coffee places! Only drawback is that they are so good, they stay packed. :)
Great coffee and even better service!!
Great place to grab a cup of coffee and study. Inviting atmosphere, comfy chairs, and great staff. Offers excellent coffee and other drinks. Great costumer service friendly staffs.
The Espresso was a nice even balance of floral and caramel with a hint of chocolate. However, the coffee tasted over extracted.
They carry freshly roasted coffee and their granitas are great.
Friendly staff, and great coffee. Lots of seating too.
Great little coffee shop with tons of variety. A staff member introduced me to hammerheads a while back and I will be eternally grateful to them right up until my third heart attack.
Delicious coffee. One of the best lattes I've had in OKC
Dust your ceiling area.
Comfotable atmosphere, great staff
Love this place! Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere! The baristas are awesome too! Goodies made fresh daily!
Coffee was cold! They said they would brew a nw pot, it was still cold! Dont think they actually renewed the pot!
My new favorite coffee spot!
Good coffee, but mediocre service. The people ordering didn't take down names so they kept calling out drink names and everyone kept reaching for the same cups over and over. Pretty uncomfortable. Literally too, the chairs aren't awesome. Also, using paper cups for non-to-go orders? Get some mugs up in there, eh? Tried to order with simple syrup instead of sugar and they said they didn't have it. Simple syrup dissolves better, it'd be cool if you all could stock it. I'll still go back it tasted pretty good.
Very cozy place great coffee little on the sweet side
My family and I have loved Aspen for almost 5 years now! I moved to Edmond from Stillwater and I can still enjoy my favorite coffee and scones.
Good coffee, they did not turn my drink into a cup of sugar like the celestial mermaid does; I could actually taste my coffee. Good job!!!
I tried there Nicaragua drip and a dirty Chai. Both very good. I got it to go but the the atmosphere seemed very enjoyable. It’s what you would expect from a good coffee shop.
They were very friendly, even on a semi-busy Saturday morning, and they served us our drinks very fast! We LOVED our caramel espresso granitas :).
Quaint little coffee place with rustic tables and a good selection.
The frozen espresso drink is A#1. Typically visit once a week. The muffin/pastry selection is good with half off day old.
Aspen coffee is amazing. The coffee, tea, or any refreshments always has a very smooth taste. The mocha coffee is my absolute favorite and the price is good as well! I typically spend $4 on a large cup of flavored coffee. They always have cute designs and the environment is very relaxing. Perfect for college students or a business professional needing to sit somewhere relaxing to get some work done!
Nice place. Service is nice, coffee is coffee.
The coffee was so good and the barista Bailee is the sweetest ;)
The coffee is great and the environment is nice. Usually very crowded.
Nice coffee house, decent prices.
This is a simple and relaxing place to sit and chill or get some work done while enjoying some good beverages. The vanilla Italian soda is really good.
I feel bad giving this place a low rating because the ratings are overwhelmingly positive, but I was not impressed. This place is not baby friendly at all. No changing table or high chairs. We had to take my daughter out to the car to change her diaper, and we had to take turns holding her while we ate. The coffee is served in styrofoam cups, even when you aren't taking it to go. For people who like good coffee, styrofoam is just not great. We ordered one of each type of black coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and a burrito. The bagel sandwich was okay, and the burrito was actually very good. The coffee wasn't good. I didn't drink very much of mine, and my husband took mine because his "flavor" was even worse. We noticed a lot of people wearing OSU gear. I think this place must be popular because of the nostalgia factor, reminding people of Stillwater.
Prices are fair for a small business. Large menu for a small joint. Seems to be fairly steadily busy.
Their quick service, friendly faces and delicious coffee bring me back every time. I choose Aspen over Starbucks any day! Sure, every restaurant has its days where it messes up an order but here, they care about it!
Aspen consitently hires very pleasant and friendly people. The coffee is good and there's just enough food options to keep the tummy happy. This location has a wall of windows that makes it feel really spacious and bright. Well done!
Great place. Good coffee and food. I recommend the Nutty Irishmen.
Delicious drinks, friendly baristas, and a cozy atmosphere. Not the best place to study in big groups since it is pretty small and busy, but you can get a seat if you get there early.
Great place that is cozy and friendly. Attracts people of all sorts of different trends. Everything is good from a black coffee to the different types and flavors. Food is average. Better than hanging out at Starbucks.
They have a good chai tea latte and I like the atmosphere. The only thing I wish they would do is change their cups from styrofoam to the regular cardboard type that most major coffee chains use. I like the meat pastries that they have. Don't know those are called.
Lattes are done correctly here. At least 2 inches foam and my order is always right and prompt even when it's busy.
Always a great cup of coffee, great breakfast foods, and a beautiful space to sit and relax.
Delicious coffee and food. Friendly staff and lots of seating!
Great coffee and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Great coffee and a very chill atmosphere.
The drinks and snacks are just as good as the Aspen Coffee in Stillwater. The atmosphere here in Edmond is a little more modern and a little less cozy than the ones from the college town, but it is still a nice place to have a cup of coffee, study, read, or meet people.
Hands down the best chai latte I've ever had! Cool company culture too!
Great latte!
I went next door to the dispensary!!!
Great cozy vibe and friendly service. They always seem to be listening to the Rolling Stones "sympathy for the devil" when I walk in. Good coffee but a little expensive.
High price but good products, friendly staff and great option of near by competitor that I can't stand.
Coffee roasted from bean is usually quite good. The problem is every time I go I get a different "version" of my drink based on who's making it. Iced Mocha coffee, first time (guy) two scoops of cocoa which was very sweet so next time I ask for half mocha which was one scoop (tasted great) then next time asked for half mocha got half a scoop, a pack of sugar (???) which still didn't taste bad, then next time got half a scoop with a ton of milk, which I threw away. Still next half a scoop, milk first then ice... Talking to that barista she tells me that one scoop is correct for a proper mocha which is why half mocha is half scoop... uggh... So the first guy added too much and I've been trying to correct for that all this time just wanting to get the same thing every time, not too sweet, not much ice and not watered down with milk. What to do? My wife, btw, loves the basic cup of coffee. Not bitter, great tasting. You just need to get consistency from staff making drinks.
Great environment and nice and clean they explain things to you better about your coffee, they have free wifi and a outsude patio to enjoy the weather very friendly place
Awesome coffee and kolaches! Very laid back, quiet place to study, talk, work, whatever. Fair prices and never had a bad coffee from there
Beautiful place. Blended chai is so yummy.
Stood there waiting 15 minutes while kids talked and piddled, and ulrimately gave my burrito to someone else. Glad I used up my gift card and longer have a reason to come here.
The staff is really nice and helpful! The vibe is good, and their coffee is great
Nice comfy place
Great coffee. Employees are quick.
Not bad, not great. The quality of beans is good, and I imagine my espresso might have tasted better had the gentleman working that beautiful La Marzocco machine bothered to rinse his portafilters in between shots. Also neither barista working offered a greeting when my husband and I walked in. Disappointing after reading so many great reviews of this place.
When the lovely coffee smell hits you, you know you are in the right place. Great coffee at good prices. Both hip and rustic - I would love to meet friends here.
Love their coffee and speedy service
Coffee is good, but the baked goods here are amazing!
This place is my go to for coffee. It's not always the best but it's miles beyond star bucks burnt mess.
My favorite place for an expresso!
Aspen is growing! And the quality is very consistent. Love them!
Great coffee for great price! The shop has it's own individual feel, a great place for meetings etc...if you're looking for a great coffee shop in Edmond I would definitely suggest Aspen Coffee Co.
I am an OSU Alumn, and I have loved Aspen Coffee since beginning of my undergrad. Each of their locations has such a nice atmosphere. Now that I'm down in Edmond, I was excited to learn there was a location here. I've taken little projects I'm working on my laptop on to this location, and the ambience is just perfect for that ideal "productive coffeehouse morning" vibe. Their drinks are so great too.
This is becoming a go-to favorite. Their coffee always tastes fresh and they have an interesting selection of different brews. The breakfast burritos ("wraps") are very tasty and made fresh. Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your purchase. Oh - and free wifi too.
I love Aspen Coffee, it is my favorite place to go to in Edmond.
I like this place a lot and their atmosphere
Awesome smooth coffee
Main downside of going here is that the place gets crowded rather quickly. That, and the location is kind of bad, but much less of a headache than the nearby Starbucks. Service is really good, breakfast + drinks are nice, quality is fairly consistent.
Good chai tea and solid service. Free WiFi
Excellent customer service. I needed a little extra steamed milk, and they fixed it with a smile.
I've been buying whole beans from them for a while now. Even though it's usually just a quick stop to pick up my beans, I like their store and the counter service is great.
Great service, friendly smiles. Coffee better than Star****s
A cool local shop with delicious coffee.
Tasty brew here on a whirlwind tour of Edmond. I was shocked to hear how Fulfilled Coffee had been pulled out from under the team who started it by "family" but thankful to find better coffee in town here.
If you haven't tried their Granitas, you don't know what you're missing. (Pro-tip: ask for it with an extra shot of espresso and have them mix ghirardelli chocolate mix into the espresso before they pour in the rest of the Granita. Best drink ever.)
Awesome latte
Good coffee, busy and clean. Lots of options, had the cold brew.
Quite, respectful,and interesting music selection
I used to be a regular at Aspen Coffee. It was on my way to work, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time and crafted coffee the way that it is supposed to be made. That being said, I have stopped going to Aspen in recent months. I visited this afternoon and found the three baristas to be distracted, and unfriendly. The steamed milk in recent months is always overheated, which doesn't allow the full flavor of the roast to come to fruition. Sorely disappointed that the service and quality has taken such a nose dive. I have never taken the time to write a review but I feel like this is an issue that has only gotten worse. Hopefully, things will change for the better.
Bad coffee served in styrofoam cups. Tastes like the urn hasn't been cleaned properly in a long time.
It was OK. I got a mocha and it tasted almost exactly like Cuppies and Joe. We didn't like their decor. It's very bare with white walls. It didn't feel like a coffee shop. I felt like I was at a burger joint. I'd say if you're looking for a new regular spot and Aspen is close, give it a shot. It's good coffee. I just wouldn't want to hang out here. Also... The customers here literally dress like they're in Aspen Colorado. No joke. Lots of puffy vests and flannel. I was having a hard time not chuckling.
Great place to study or grab coffee with a friend. Love their chinana smoothie. Free WiFi.
