I love the Chat & Chew! This is a warm and welcoming place to chat and chew. I get the Chai Tea Latte the Owners way,...just the right amount of sweet, and I'm working my way through all of the delicious pastries. There's ice cream and crafts for sale too. Definitely a nice change from Starbucks, and a great way to support local business.

LOVE this new coffee shop in Archdale! Finally, a place to stop for ice cream or a baked "treat" on the way home from picking the kids up at school, and for a coffee treat for me :) The staff is so friendly and hospitable, and they have a great room for just hanging out with friends and enjoying conversation and coffee. I also love all the hand made items for sale. This is an awesome place to find a gift for anyone! Would highly recommend this place for everyone- families, couples, small groups who need a place to meet, girlfriends, and anyone needing a delicious cup of coffee ;)

For $6 per cup of coffee it is a bad deal. Never open on time, always closes early. Even got told to leave while sitting in the empty parking lot drinking coffee that I had just bought there. For $15 dollars (2 coffees and the tip) I didn't think it would be much of a problem to sit and drink it. Was told to leave by the owners husband.

I live in Durham but make a trip to her shop every time I visit Archdale to enjoy the cheesecake and company and can always find goodies I can't live without in the Craft Nook.

This place is awesome! Kim, the owner, is a great lady. She listens and is attentive to dietary allergies and restrictions. The teas and frappes have a great flavor. Lemonade is delicious. The desserts I've tried are also delicious. What a great place to take a friend and just chat and chew!

Though nothing fancy, this is a cute little coffee shop. Their prices can't be beat, and neither can their friendly service be outdone! They also have stewards program which, though a little different, can still be a plus. You have to order at least $5 of food/coffee in one visit in order to get a point. After 10 points, you get a reward - maybe $5? I don't remember. Anyway, since their regular prices are so low, I'm not complaining about having to spend $5 to get a point! They offer suggestions, and are also willing to customize drinks for you. As icing on the cake, they offer coffee delivery! Besides specialty drinks and coffee, they also have ice cream, pastries, and cake. In another part of the shop are craft displays from local vendors. There are many cute items, from wall decor, to soap, to kitchen items. It's definitely a great place to stop in!

I have visited Chat & Chew many times and the coffee is always excellent. Whether it is a caramel ice coffee or frappuccino, they know how to make it great. Prices are affordable and it makes a great date night. The gift shop is also fun to look at, the have a variety of handmade items. Worth stopping by!

Love love love this place! Popped in for a slice of cheesecake as I was having a pregnancy craving for something sweet! Great space for unique gifts, comfortable seating to enjoy a sweet treat/coffee with friends and very friendly service. The staff was busy with another order but immediately spoke and said she’d be right with me, which made me feel comfortable and a welcome especially since I had my two year old son with me that day! Will definitely be back for coffee and another slice of cheesecake with my kids soon!

I will not be back to this place! The store is cute with many handmade items. The ice cream is ok. The service is in the toilet. If you plan to run an adult only ice cream establishment that needs to be posted!! They were rude to our children because they requested ice cream and told my kids that you would only take requests from an adult (I understand the intention but the manner in which it was done was as if you were disgusted by the fact kids were in your business.) Employee became hostile when my son tapped the glass to point at what he would like to have. He wasn’t hurting anything only excited about getting Superman ice cream. Then your employee followed me around the store like a criminal because my children were with me constantly reminding them not to touch. I know how to control my kids and if they break something I will pay for it. If I can make a recommendation you need to separate the 2 stores and hire kid friendly staff for the ice cream side. I would only recommend this place to families with adult age children. Left feeling extremely disappointed for a small business since we as a family try and support local small businesses.

I visited the cafe with my mother and 18 month daughter and we had a lovely time. My daughter was fascinated with all the beautifully crafted handmade jewelery, bows, and clothes, so we picked out an adorable Dr. Seuss set for her. We toured the birthday party area and love the idea of a crafting/artsy birthday party. My daughter loves to paint and draw at daycare, so this would make a great birthday set-up! Afterwards we relaxed in the cafe and ate delicious ice cream; a perfect end to our visit. Kim was a gracious host and we enjoyed the comfy and peaceful environment. We will definitely be back to try the other desserts!

I needed to turn around and happened to pull into their parking lot. I saw "coffee" and "baked goods" and I was sold. Went in and the comforting lovely aroma of good coffee enveloped me. Kim was at the counter and was so kind and welcoming! She told me all about their different coffee drinks and all the combinations/flavors/varieties. I got the creme brulee latte and a croissant and they were just what the doctor ordered. The drink was DECAF! But lacked nothing in flavor. The croissant had guava and cream cheese filling and was delicious. And the prices are super reasonable! I'm going to have to accidentally come here more often.

I was trying to find a good ice cream place in Archdale that way I didn't have to drive all the way to high point or Greensboro. I found this place on Google maps, and I honestly wish I would have found it sooner! The lady that runs the place is so nice. She made me a banana split letting me choose any flavors of ice cream that I wanted in it, and it was absolutely delicious! It was exactly what I was craving, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good ice cream, coffee and desserts!

Went in the store and was greeted by a friendly outgoing owner. Ordered with my daughter who couldn't decide what kind of goodies she wanted. Lady ( Kim) behind the counter did Everything in her power to make sure that my daughter had a scrumptious goody as went above and behind to heat up her brownie for her the whole time she answered all of my questions about the different kinds of cheesecake she had. The GOODIES ( cheesecake , brownie, and a coffee) were delicious and I would HIGHLY recommend dropping by and giving them a try...I AM GOING TO BE A REPEAT CUSTOMER
