I go here for the back seating which is a cute chic place but it's very small in the inside and their card machine was broken so the line was pretty long. The cups they give us for our coffee is cheap like the ones at hotels so I was a bit disappointed at the aesthetic I guess. But I still would return for the back seating, it's really the only thing going for them.

Well it was a rude awakening alright!! We ordered 2 desserts a glass of hot milk and a regular cup of coffee... it cost us 19.87$ !??? What yes 19.87!!! To top it all off wanting to be nice I give 40$ to the cashier asking for change I see she is busy so we take our drinks and desserts told me she would be getting my change... by the time I realized I still hadn't got my change back the cashier was gone with a 20$ tip!?! Who does that!?! This is terrible and I was very disappointed the desserts weren't that good and the coffee definitely not worth what I paid for!!! I hate to have to say this about a local business but they sucked! Oh and no the desserts were not even home made!!

The Rude Awakening was one of the first locations in downtown Fayetteville that truly felt safe, inclusive and like a home away from home. Half of the friends I have today are because I met them while sipping drinks at the Rude Awakening coffee shop.

The vibe of this coffee house is very vibrant and alive. Their signature coffee's definitely reflect the passion and love they put into creating them. My favorite of all, is their Caramel Rose latte ... iced or hot. (Depending on weather) . So sad to be moving and leaving this place behind. I highly recommend Rude Awakening.

Jumpin' Java takes the cake for the best coffee shop in Fayetteville! I only went to Rude Awakening because I was downtown at the time.

Their courtyard offered a peaceful location to talk with friends and dates all evening long. I have found my new coffee haven! I stumbled upon this gem after visiting a local bookstore and the baristas were out of this world accommodating. My espresso was delicious and I was even treated to foam art in the form of Rosie the Riveter. Great vibe, kind (and funny) baristas, and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back because I need my coffee since drugs are illegal ;)

This is my favorite coffee spot in Fayetteville! They have lots of different snack and drink options (lots of gluten free pastries and desserts!). They even offer pies from Fayetteville Pie Company. The staff is very friendly and the courtyard in the back is charming! A great place to grab a coffee or tea and hang out with friends or just relax and read a book.

I enjoy the quaint vibe of this coffee house. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and I have never felt rushed to hurry up and get out so the next person can get in. I like the fact that they have outdoor seating both in front of and in back of the store. I usually get a decaf cappuccino or decaf latte and they have never accidentally given me caffinated coffee :-) I also enjoy the fact that if I order to drink there my coffee comes in an actual coffee cup and not a to paper cup and food is served on actual dishes.

The staff was nice. The brown bag lunch wasn't really all that the reviews made it sound like it was. It was pretty basic and didn't include a drink. For a little over $6 I got a croissant sandwich, a cookie and a choice from 3 types of chips or a fruit cup. The sandwich was pretty good though, I must admit. It would be worth the money had it included a drink. Other than that, nice environment and nice place to relax.

Good coffee and very nice peiple work there. There is limited seating inside and about as much seating outside. Both are nice to sit and enjoy (weather permitting for outside). The whole place has a very trendy feel to it. There is only one draw back and it is a big one. The building is very narrow and the bar is set up so the ares to order and wait in line not to mention get to the seating area is a skinny hallway which is made smaller by decorations on the wall and bulky displays on the counter.

Service is always a hit or miss here as is the product consistency. When it is right, it is knocked out of the park. It is local and downtown which makes for a wonderful combination to walk down the street or sit out front with your drink and/or food. They have a great affordable lunch menu I recently discovered so I'll be back. Just wish they would work on consistency and maybe make the counter not so cluttered where you pay. Great stuff just kind of closes off the small opening where you pay and recieve your food.

First let just say its downtown and it's a nice little building. So all we knew was we wanting something very sweet with whip cream and decided on a cold latte.....unbeknownst to us she made 3 different drinks for us....lol we were drinking all 3 trying to figure out which one we wanted ....we got one that had cinnamon, one with Caramel, and one of the ladies signature drinks....they were all amazing.....we also got 2 large cheesecake slices....let's just say we will be coming back....oh did I mention that it was very affordable #Winning

Great specialty coffee drinks! Love the staff and customer friendly computer system. (Would love to re-design the layout of the place. There's a really narrow path between the wall and countertop and there are metal boxes mounted to the wall that protrude a good 5 inches into the limited space making it even more narrow - customers have to regularly squeeze by one another. If they cut back the counter, moved some of the displays to other parts of the shop, they really could open things up and not great such a logjam at the line.)

I have tried to come here three times and each time I have walked out. I understand if there’s only one person working, then yes there will be a wait. That’s not an issue. However, each time I have come here, I was never at least greeted or acknowledged that I walked in. The three times I’ve been, there’s only been a few people in front of me but I’ve waited over 10 minutes. Even standing in line by the counter, not one word was spoken to me or the people I went with each time. Tonight was the same picture. There was one party in front of us and I guess they were waiting on snack food. I stood there, and not a word, so I walked out. That was the last time I was giving that shop a try, I will not try again.

The drinks are delicious! Definitely deviates from the coporate, standard made drinks you would get from a franchise. The fresh baked bread is to die for! The quality of the product and the low prices make everything a steal. From the very first visit, you feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and genuine in the way they talk to you, as opposed to a forced demeanor and fake kindness. When I was having trouble ordering, one of the servers offered to make me a drink that was a personal favorite of his (which tasted amazing) and also offered to make me a custom drink every time I came in if I preferred. Keisha, from my first visit, made me feel right at home with her honesty and outgoing personality. Jennette is very kind and helpful, answering any and all questions to ensure your order is to your liking. There are multiple seating choices, from inside with the nice AC, out back in the beautiful terrace, to the cute tables out front that allow you to see the town and people watch. I have quickly become a regular and I'm astounded by the negative comments I've read. I would recommend Rude Awakening every time!
