Friendly staff, absolutely delicious signature coffee drinks! Scones were tasty as well as a crumb cake to die for! Sad we discovered them the day before heading home but returned before leaving. Definitely make it back next time as well.

Great coffee, latte choices, lots of pastries and cute gifts with friendly and attentive staff. My group of friends come here every morning on our trip as it is within walking distance from lots of rentals. I had the mermaid latte (lavender and vanilla) but it was so hard to choose because they all sound delicious since they flavor their whipped cream. Gotta make it your coffee spot while in Nags Head!

This used to be our favorite coffee shop that we would come visit on our yearly vacation. The last time we went we ordered bagels which came with almost no cream cheese and when we asked for more we were charged extra. A little shocking since it’s already an over priced frozen bagel. We never encountered this problem before not sure if it’s new employees or just management trying to save money. The coffee is really good but it’s doubtful we’ll be coming back just to be ripped off. Also the staff wasn’t so friendly.

We love their organic coffee options and they have a great selection of teas, smoothies and small breakfast items such as bagels, oatmeal and pastries. A fantastic spot for locals and vacationers alike. And check put the local artwork for sale on the walls!!

Always a pleasure. The shop changes a little over the years, but always remains a warm and welcome place to visit. The coffee is excellent (I prefer the iced mochas) but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Make sure to stop in and say hi to the crew and give the house dog some lovins'

The Mermaid latte was phenomenal!! Vanilla and lavender, who would have thought. The staff was friendly and skilled at coffee preparation. The seating area was colorful, original, and calming. The massive coffee bean grinder on display is always the highlight of our visit as well as the cold brew drip coffee mechanism.

Very lovely coffee and laid back friendly atmosphere. There was a dog present which seemed to be the store's dog? I should have asked if other dogs were allowed but spaced and didn't. If you like your flavored coffees that still have coffee flavor this is a great choice.

The whole place was cute and wonderful! I loved the selection of all the mugs, I wish I had been able to buy some! The coffees were really good, it was the first place to get me to try the lavender vanilla latte, basically by calling it the mermaid lol my hubby loved his salted caramel coffee with almond milk and I tasted it and it was way better than any other place we’ve gotten it from! Also was able to buy some reusable straws and cleaners which I had been waiting wanting to do for a while but it was too expensive until now. Thanks!!

Hottest coffee ever. Very strong and really tasty coffee. It is rare that you take a sip of coffee and react with a "damn" but it'll happen here. If you're in this town, and in the need of coffee, skip the Starbucks and go to morning view. You'll be glad you stopped. Better priced than Starbucks too! Kinda cute employees too ;))

I want to start by pointing out customer service goes a long way. We waited for the woman to get off the phone because she was having issues with the register, which would have been fine had she been more pleasant while we were waiting, and acknowledged that we had been waiting for some time. Any communication at that point would have been nice, it might have saved us from getting ripped off in the end. Fast forward to ordering a 7 dollar cold brew with cream, let that sink in a bit, because I could have made 4 entire pitchers (a bag worth) and bought a carton of cream for the price we paid for 2. That is a lot of money for a coldbrew because we certainly weren't paying for the awesome service or peaceful, inviting atmosphere. I want to point out it was advertised as 4 and some change. The creamer, that is normally free or included with any coffee purchase at any coffee shop business nationwide. This place charges 2 dollars to put cream in your coffee. I noticed someone else complaining about what baristas charging not being consistent, really get it together, that's false advertisement. This nightmare coffee shop adventure ended with the employee, that charged us 4 dollars for cream and assisted the employee having register issues, slamming the back door in our face that was open before we even arrived. We will not be venturing back to this place when there are other coffee shops that give free cream and free customer service. This is a good way for people to support places like Starbucks over supporting local businesses. Also, the coldbrew was weak and tasteless, clearly they use cheap beans or don't brew it long enough and charge premium prices. Buyer beware I've read plenty of reviews about this place having poor customer service, being overpriced and/or inconsistent and the coldbrew not being strong enough, so clearly they have been problems for a long time and don't plan on changing.

I use to love this place as it has great coffee but when you mix a bad attitude with service I end up taking a few stars off. The really bad part was that the attitude was not from the regular staff but from the owner. I hope she was just having a bad day and isn't this unfriendly all the time.

This place would have been much more pleasant if dogs were not allowed to stick their faces in my food or jump on my seat and beg. Other customers were also disturbed by the dogs. At one point I could not walk around one of the dogs but the owner did nothing to let me pass. Large misbehaved dogs don't belong in coffee shops.

Day 1, I could smell the fresh ground coffee from the parking lot and i just knew i was in heaven. Fresh, fresh, fresh. This was a daily stop for us to get us started right. This is such a unique place and gets pretty busy, but the staff does not mess around and are super fast!! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that most of the staff didn't really seem like morning people and not a lot of smiles. But they certainly get the job done and I absolutely reccommend this place over and over! Enjoy the coffee and the morning eats. You'll be glad you did. FYI, all the coffee mugs are great for gifting. I received one as a gift that I almost bought for myself, funny how that worked out. I absolutely love it!!! And don't forget to by the bean/ground coffee to bring home. Amazing!!! Thank you, to all of the staff! You really work hard and it shows.

Tiny, cozy shop with a few tables, chairs, and a big comfy couch. They have a wide variety of standard as well as frou-frou coffee drinks. They roast their own beans and you can buy it by the pound.

Do NOT get the foo foo drinks they offer. They are nothing but syrup. I had to dump out the 2 iced coffees I got. I didn't bother going back to try anything else, but I am sure it would be fine as long as it isn't sweetened. The atmosphere is great though and they have a dog which is awesome!

Excellent coffee (their cold brew is the best around) and some tea options, good pastries but no "real" food. Staff if friendly and quick. The resident dog has free roam of the shop but it's never a bother and is quite friendly. Seating is limited, but there is an outdoor area when weather permits. All in all, my favorite coffee shop in the Outer Banks.

Makes for a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. The only downfall is that when we went, the line was at the door and the shop is quite small so it can be a little crowded. Can't wait to go back today!

Cute little coffee house that actually roasts their own beans. We had two lattes and they were delicious. They have a big selection of coffees and teas and some cool mugs and stuff to buy. There is an outside area to sit in the back and the inside seating area is very quaint and cozy.

My family is down in the OBX for vacation this week, we came to the shop on our first morning. My kids had Hot Chocolate my significant other had a caramal macchiato and I had a regular coffee and crumb cake. All of the drinks were delicious, so delicious that we came back for more yesterday and today. The specialty drinks are amazing, the decor and atmosphere is inviting and warm the custom mugs are so beyond adorable that I want them all. I highly recommended visiting if the outer banks and enjoy good handcrafted espresso drinks.

My husband and I get coffee here every morning, when we stay in Kill Devil Hills. The iced Samoan with the homemade chocolate whipped cream is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. They also have some gluten free snack options for me :-). I highly recommend this place to any coffee lover staying in the area.

Very nice shop with great coffee. However, the pricing is very inconsistent. I order the same 2 shots of espresso every morning and have been charged $3.30ish to almost $5 depending on who rings me up. When I asked why, they could not offer much of an explanation other than I was being charged extra to put ice in my drink. Very discouraging since it's already higher than Front Porch and Wave Riders that are within a block of here.
