Sat here with some friends for a bit the other day. The service was great and the coffee was great with freshly roasted and ground beans. They know their coffee well here. The room itself was beautiful with a big open concept, live plants and a huge skylight to allow the sun to come in. It was fascinating seeing every single patron decked out in Apple gear. I didn't see a single other brand of electronic device here. It was like everyone was plugged into the hive mind. It was simply too drone-like to me.

If you are a coffee lover, then this is for you. Nestled in a little shop tucked away in the upcoming area of Brooklyn, this little piece of heaven is so worth the visit. The decor and aesthetics are pleasing to the discerning eye. Coffee snobs and rookies alike are welcome. Free wifi available. Restrooms were neat and clean upon visit. The cherry on top is that the beans are ground on the premises.

An adorable space with some hot coffee to meld you into the crowd. I do find Devocion absolutely stunning to the eye with their natural wood and stone elements, along with the tapestry of living greenery. Minimalistic artistry aligning the wall with hushed tones so it will not take the attention away from the real beauty. Though this place may be beautiful, it's hard to absorb the peace it gives out when the space is full to the brim with customers. (Which is not a reason to not visit.) People were lined out the door for some good Colombian coffee. The coffee is roasted on site, you can see it on your way in or out, which is always unique. I did enjoy the nice rich taste of the drink, though I wish Devocion could have been more creative with their menu.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in NYC! It’s my go to to get some work or reading done, but you have to get there early to snag a seat...it can get pretty crowded by mid-morning. I always make sure to bring friends and visitors to this place. Awesome vibe and you can't beat the living wall! The coffee is great too. I also subscribe to their coffee subscription, I love everything about this place.

One of my favorite coffee spots in the city. Large seating area with natural light and greenery. The place provides a rustic feel and has a great environment for chats or for work. Color scheme of the place is impressive and the coffee is excellent. They even have specialty coffees and juices.

It used to be our favorite Devoción location - lovely interior and superb coffee. Not anymore. Ordered coffee and croissants “for here”, got them “to go”. Instead of hot latte we got a cold one. Espresso quality is nothing compared to what it used to be, let alone the pour overs which are not much different from Philz et al at this point. To top all of that, all the tables are taken by people on laptops - good luck finding a spot to enjoy your pastries. Meh.

Beautiful, spacious coffee shop tucked away on the west side of williamsburg near the water. Try any of their drinks and set up to work. Really nice during the summer when you can enjoy the sun indoors!

Coffee was good and extracted well, nice depth and structure for a black coffee, first time I’ve had good coffee from a non-Australia coffee shop in NYC. Pour over is a bit expensive considering there’s some great places near by doing good washed and natural single-o’s, blends for 25% cheaper. Would love to give 5 stars except for the price of the pour overs and service was a bit cold.

The best croissants in Williamsburg and awesome freshly roasted Colombian coffee served by knowledgeable staff in a well designed open concept room with a beautiful vertical garden and great natural lighting. Clean restrooms and great attention to detail for every aspect of the product. It is a little bit hard, though, to find a place to sit during popular hours.

An archetype of Williamsburg coffee shop that js certainly different from those in Manhattan. This space has such a wonderful vibe, beautiful sunlight and trendy (both local and visiting) crowd. But it is extremely busy especially on weekends so if you’d like to at least take a seat, I recommend getting there very early or very late.

Great place to get some coffee while exploring Brooklyn on foot. Loved the huge skylights that were flooding the place with natural light! It's highly popular with the locals, so be prepared for a bit of a line and a short wait time, but it's worth the wait.

This spot is beautiful. The sky light and the entire layout and the vegetation on the far wall are truly out of this world. The coffee is really good too and the sandwiches are damn good too. Will definitely be coming back, a really awesome spot to sit chat and sip coffee.

I believe Devocion now serves the most expensive cup of cold brew in Williamsburg. They raised their prices in the wake of Domino Park’s opening, and it’ll now cost you $4.75 for a regular sized cup. What’s more, they’ll charge you $.75 extra for a small splash of almond milk. Hard to walk away feeling good about that, even if it is delicious.

Gorgeous space with loads of sunlight. Pretty busy (we went on a Saturday) so might be tricky to find a seat. The nitro coffee was excellent (strong) and the herbal tea was delicious. Try the OJ too, refreshing on a hot day. There are newspapers to read, comfy sofas and there's no wifi on weekends. Just as it should be.

This is a great coffee shop for studying. A lot of seating is available. The espresso is strong. The granola bars are awesome, too! Only downsides are slow Internet (a lot of people are on it) and not many power outlets being available, but the coffee shop makes up for those minor flaws.

Getting some sunlight indoors in the winter is amazing, although it might be a bit too sunny in the summer. I LOVE the plants wall. Devoción is easily my favorite coffee shop in NYC.

I loved your set up with the beautiful machine and the tasting room idea but the bitterness of the espresso was unbearable in both my espresso and my wife's cappuccino. I consume 3 to 4 espressos a day and was looking forward to yours. Prior to ordering I asked the cashier of the origin of the bean and if it was bitter and he said that it wasn't. We didn't drink them and my wife expressed our dissatisfaction to the gentleman who was very indifferent to our concern. If other customers like this taste that's great but we disliked it.

Some of the best coffee I had during my short trip to NYC. The have a rotating slow bar, which seems pretty rare for New York, surprisingly. Great, welcoming service and lots of pastry options, not to mention the beautiful interior full of plants and natural light. I would recommend the nitro cold brew!

Went in on a Sunday. Beautiful aesthetic, quick-ish service. Seating is always packed but I managed to get a table for four. Americano was perfect, adorable yellow cups and plates. Wooden chairs could be bigger but there’s always something that can change. Also they were out of almost all food items for the entirety of my stay (1 1/2 hours) so that was sad. Would (and will be) going again!

The place itself is great - good service, cool interiors and plenty of places to sit (although it does get crowded) can't say the same about their food. The avocado arrepas were so bland -- I basically paid $11 for chopped up tomato and avocado with no seasoning. The chocolate croissant was all croissant with one bite of chocolate. They offer many concoctions of coffee drinks but no mocha which was disappointing to me. But I do believe their coffee is good. Probably worth it if you just want a basic coffee drink and sit in a nice shop but not if you want food or a mocha :/.

I live in Williamsburg. Devocion used to be one of my favorite cafe spots till today. (I finally encountered the worst barista after all these years.) I came here early to get some work done , ordered a coffee and sit in the area with the long desk. Unfortunately there was a leaking from the celling , some rusty water dropped in my coffe and cloth. I didn’t want to make a sence about it since I had lots work to do . I simply wanted to replace the coffee. I realized I could get one free coffee from my points anyways . So I politely told the short hair male barista that I need to use my points for a free coffee now due to the water leaking earlier. With a strong attitude , he impatiently questioned about the leaking , and acted like he didn’t believe there was a leaking from the ceiling. He also acted reluctant to give me the free coffee. But the fact is I could get a free coffee anyways from the points I had ! (I tried to do you a favor ok!) I don’t know if this barista is new or not, but dude, go back to learn some basic human respect before you take a service job, or try to be a ‘hipster’. Btw, Devocion, get your celling fixed before it looks too cheap, just like that ‘hipster try hard’ barista.

Came here on a date - really cute place. Bit of a hipster feel but not annoyingly so. They actually have newspapers on those wood sticks that you can read like in the library. I had an iced coffee and she had s cold fruity tea drink and both were good. Great area, good first date spot!

Very nice space with a great vibe so 4 stars for that but keep in mind these things: 1) you rarely find a free stop to sit without waiting 2) they say kitchen closes as 2-3, it’s probably the 10time I try to order at 1 and they say they’re closed for the day. 3) tea comes in a small cup -for tea lovers this feel cheap, it’s just more hot water!

Great coffee! I didn't have the really expensive one but their regular coffee is very good. They have some of the best croissants in town, no kidding, they also have some sandwiches and a quinoa arepa which they top with avocado and tomatoes, very delicious. The service is good, they are very attentive and the prices are ok. The cafe is very beautiful inside, it is welcoming and makes you want to stay for a while. Bathrooms are clean.

This place is really lovely and the lattes are good, but a seat is rarely available. If you are lucky to get a seat, the sun will most likely shine on your face. I love the sun and warmth, but it feels like an oven and they should have some sort of shade mechanism. Yesterday, people were in tank tops and t-shirts while it was 32degrees outside.
