I love to go in here because of the employees but I WON'T because of the manager. He messed up my drink and made a cold latte instead of hot, I told him it's supposed to be hot and he ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME! I won't step a foot in there until he is gone. Used to go in at least three days a week. Two of my coworkers won't go I. There any more because of that manager too.

Great place to hang out and study! Lots of seating, good coffee, friendly staff, and a pretty wide variety of food and pastry options (including gluten free). Just be careful about parking, UNM will ticket and tow if you park in the hospital financial services spots.

Edit- 6+ years of being a loyal customer, had one bad experience that was very very out of character for the lovely staff here. Management contacted me quickly and solved the issue in a very professional manner. I regularly have amazing experiences with staff here which is what keeps me coming back, because they run a great business. Their coffee and food is amazing and definitely worth it to invest in a great local business.

Very quick service, a laid back atmosphere, and definitely a great place to grab an honest, strong, and well-crafted brew. I'm a pretty simple guy when it comes to coffee (I like it strong and black) but I do enjoy the exquisite roasts on offer and have never, ever, had a weak cup. By pass the Starbucks, and go to Satellite!

Depending on the time of day, this place has no parking. This whole parking lot has plaques with parking territory. Some douche customers will even park in the 15 min pickup parking spaces and never leave. The employees are ok but there is one guy who talks to the customer he's with forever, even after he already gave them their drink or helped them, he just lingers there with them meanwhile you're like "hurry up, dude." If you're not in a hurry or have a car , try it out I guess.

Lattes were fast and delicious! They can sub oat milk for 50 cents (they also have coconut and almond if you have dairy issues). Very cute place with lots of people studying or meeting. I'd be here all the time if I were local!

I love satellite cafes in Albuquerque - but this one on University Ave really let me down. The vegi burrito - called graburitto - was awful. Super greasy & falling apart. Also kitchen staff with beards & long hair need to wear nets! I actually found a hair in my vegi burger at another fly star restaurant affiliated with satellite cafe. Fly star & satellite cafes need to make sure their staff wear nets! Always!

The rabbit roll is too sour and sweet. Won’t recommend. Drinks are great and so does the panini. Forgot to mention the parking is easy and the place is bigger than most coffee shops at a street corner. Could be a good place for some business talk/casual interviews because it is quiet. Seen a lot of people grabbing breakfast there in the morning - not a bad choice at all.

I often meet my significant other here as she works near this location. I have always had a positive dining experience at this location. The food has always tasted really fresh and the service is good. We usually call the order in about 15 minutes ahead and the food has always been ready by the time we arrived. If you are in the mood for a sandwich, I highly recommend the artichoke and havarti melt. A bit of warning, parking here is a bit of a pain. There are limited spaces and the spaces are SMALL.

This is my favorite coffee shop in ABQ. The coffee and tea are excellent, the food is great, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff were all helpful and assisted us quickly. It's a welcoming place for the college crowd, people who need a place to get some work done, or anyone who just needs a quick bite.

Grabbed a BLT to take to work. Fresh toasted bun, delicious ripe tomato, juicy smoked bacon. Side salad with lime dressing was off the charts over a fresh spring mix. Apple slices on the side. Best 9.00 spent in awhile and the service was awesome.

One of my favorite places in town for a latte and a laptop! Nice atmosphere for both social engagements and study habits. The food is good, the pastry's are tasty, the coffee and tea are well done. The food menu offers choices from small snacks and cookies to large salads and sandwiches. My FAVORITE vegetarian wrap in the city is served at this location, the "Rabbit Wrap". On weekdays, you will find A LOT of students parked here with their computer throughout the day. There is fairly good wi-fi service with this one annoying caveat: Your wi-fi access may drop off about EVERY HALF HOUR! To deal with this, I keep the login tab open and just "refresh" and re-accept the login disclaimer. One must do this constantly throughout the time spent here. THAT is the only thing that has me rate this place 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, STILL A FAVORITE!

Satellite is right by the University of New Mexico's Health Sciences Center, and because of that I like to come here for either a quick bite to eat, or a quick cup of coffee. One of my favorite things to get there is the Mexican latte. I recommend it to anyone new in town looking for something more than mega chain coffee
