The best locally own coffee in Albuquerque. The coffee is so good, the place is so unique and quaint. People are fun and know their blends. Coming in to enjoy a cup of java is definitely a good catch.
Cutbow is a true specialty and third-wave coffee experience. Great flavour/complexity of their espresso and exceptional customer service. Do yourself a favour and stop in. They also do public cuppings on Friday !
Love, love love!!!!!! Amazing coffee and awesome staff! Best I have had in town.
I'm eating the first coffeehouse scone I've ever had that's actually a scone and not some triangular muffin sugar bomb. It's perfect (blueberry). Great latte, too. It's a classy joint.
This place is a new discovery for me and I was not disappointed. The pastries are amazing. To die for also reasonable in their prices. Will be going back again.
Crisp clean atmosphere. Coffee tasters choice.
I only recently found this place and the people, coffee, and ambiance are fabulous!
Great coffee, Paul really knows his beans!! Try the coffee flight with a friend, it features three French-pressed coffees (of your choice!) with some sparkling water.
Basically the best cup of coffee I've had. I say that with the full weight of that claim fully upon my shoulders. In addition to serving a wonderful, roasted to perfection, espresso with a crema and coffee tasting flights, the staff are KIND, WELCOMING and warm; nothing pretentious about it! Good inclusive vibes and GF, Vegan friendly options.
Delicious coffee with bold and unusual flavor profiles! Love the Gomossita (a shot of espresso pulled over a homemade marshmallow). Atmosphere is beautiful and laid back, and the experienced baristas are friendly. Love this place!
Delightful experience. Offer many wonderful selections. Try the cortadito bonbon. Did I mention they have fresh marshmallows?
So happy a great roaster and coffee shop
The Ethiopian have an Amazing berry taste!
Awesome place great owner and people and yes coffee and teas of the chain:)
A great place !! Wonderful coffee, cheerful full staff, awesome baked goods, and a friendly atmosphere. And it's puppy/dog friendly !! All told, best coffee shop in town.
I love this coffee shop, their coffee is excellent, flavor offerings are on point, and their technique produces consistent, delicious lattes. The people here are very friendly and obviously love what they do. I only wish I had discovered it sooner.
Very good coffee but would like to see caramel be added to their menu.
We use Cutbow exclusively at our bed and breakfast in Corrales. Nothing but the best for our guest.
Snooty workers that don't even say hi. Saw me walking up, 45 min before they close, pulled in the patio table and I heard the door lock as I approached. Wont return for a second chance.
This is a great new coffee shop in the Near North Valley. Friendly service in a beautiful atmosphere. You'll be glad you stopped by!
Awesome place, great coffee and pastries and the greatest people. Love the fishing theme!
Awesome coffee in a quaint little spot. Not a lot of food, but the quality of the coffee is great.
WOW. Make Cutbow Coffee your next favorite place for sure . Locally owned and operated by an amazing friendly family. Support local businesses it's what this city needs. Every one needs to visit this local jem.
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, great place to meet and connect with people
Backed by decades of experience roasting for one of the big guys, Paul Gallegos brings his own flair and caring family atmosphere to the Albuquerque coffee scene. World class roasts, fun and inviting location, and smiles all around! What's not to love.
Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. Excellent coffee expertise.
Every experience at Cutbow reaffirms their excellence! Had a coffee tasting led by the owner, Paul, an expert coffee curator and roaster! Such artisanship!
Delicious coffee, lattes and more in a friendly and beautiful place. A local favorite!
Quality coffee. Great staff. They will use coffee ice cubes for your iced coffee.
Friendly. Hoppin. Perfect coffee
I'm not a coffee drinker but their tea was fantastic. Definitely recommend
Nice find. Lots of coffee and tea options.
This was some good coffee plus the shop was cool. This is what a great coffee shop is all about killer espresso and killer coffee. Lots of different choice single origin coffees. Roasted on site. This place is a must if you like good coffee.
Environment strikes optimum amounts of novelty, eclectic, history, and comfort. Best coffee I’ve had in Abq so far. Great milk alternatives (oat, macadamia). My new regular place for coffee
Great coffee and friendly staff
This is a truly exceptional coffeehouse and roaster.
They have a delicious chai. Decent prices. Friendly staff. Cool atmosphere.
This place is awesome. From every thought out detail in the decor, to the excellent customer service, to the fantastically brewed and smooth, deep flavor of the coffee! The husband wife team who owns it are so friendly and clearly proud of their work. The inside is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The counter staff baristas are friendly, patient, and helpful. This will be an absolute must stop whenever I visit Albuquerque!
Beautiful space, super friendly staff and some of the most delicious coffee ivehad in a long time!
I live in the NE Heights and yet I would be willing to make the drive to Cutbow. I like businesses that are true to themselves, ones that do what do well with their own flare. This place is that and so much more. I really wish I could express in words how good the coffee was, how friendly Paul was, how intentional and welcoming the decor was, but there’s really no words that can do it justice. You need to stop by and enjoy it for yourself.
It is a very quaint place, friendly people, good coffee and tea!!!!
Very nice inside and nice staff. Interesting choices of coffees AND they roast their own beans! Cant go wrong here
Excellent coffee and super cool knowledgeable people. There was some delicious snacks as well. Highly recommend.
Great coffee which is roasted in house by knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also offer excellent food (muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, etc.) which are supplied locally, and do change from time to time.
Beautiful space, welcoming baristas and owner, incredible coffee! Easy parking a plus
Gourmet, artisan coffee and vibe for less than the other guys. Another gem! Please support, I need their coffee.
Great coffee. Great folks. Nice place to sit down relax and enjoy a cup of java.
Cool coffee shop vibes.
Good coffee, not s lot of seating for groups, more "single" seating. Limited selection of pastries, no regular food. So more of a coffee and maybe lightg desert type place. Lots of FREE parking with a stoplight to get back out onto Rio Grande when it is busy. Nice staff
Lovely staff and delicious coffee! Peaceful environment and a great place to get work done.
Outstanding espresso!!! I loved the feel. Great people.
Great decor and amazing coffee, little cramped. Overall a good experience.
This is the best coffee in Albuquerque! These products are made with true passion and love, and it shows. Wonderfully fresh and locally sourced ingredients in everything! Not only are the coffees and teas made to perfection but the atmosphere here is so serene. I can't say enough about how kind and friendly the owners and staff are. They really make you feel like family here. Cutbow Coffee is the place to be.
Every time I've come in, the owner Paul has been incredibly friendly along with his wonderful and attentive barista staff. One of the best coffee roasters in town - in my opinion - with a very open and relaxing space decorated with buyable fishing paraphernelia and art. They also do collaborations with other local businesess in town including Bow & Arrow, examplifying their presence and involvement with the community. Occasionally they will host events showcasing local talent, and every week they have intimate coffee tastings on Fridays at noon available by reservation. First come first serve! My personal favorite from their menu is the Cortadito Bon Bon: espresso with condensed milk.
Took a while to get coffee, altho it was good. They forgot the pastry order & when reminded brought the wrong thing - no napkin. Man at the counter was very nice.
Really good espresso. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Forgot to make my drink.
Great locally roasted coffee. Cool hang out on Rio Grande. A bit pricey for a bag of beans, but really good fresh coffee.
Just wow. What an amazing coffee shop. The owner Paul is well versed in the coffee world and an excellent host. The best coffee shop in New Mexico for a reason. Try the flight with a friend and you won't regret it!
My favorite coffee shop. Not like any other. The owner can teach you alot about coffee. Best coffee, really!
Exquisite unique blends of coffee roasted by Paul G. Decades of experience can be tasted and enjoyed in every cup served to you. Wither you're a seasoned coffee lover or just want a great cup if Joe, you'll find what you're looking for here!
Best coffee. Period. The owners are very welcoming. Beautiful shop and exactly what the area needed.
Nice place to meet a friend and enjoy some coffee. They have a big coffee plant growing and it's very pretty.
Exceptional customer service, delicious coffee and healthy treats:)
Warm and welcoming! Artful in every way from coffee to service to ambiance. Can't wait to visit again!
This new local spot is a good place to relax and get in house roasted coffee. I'm not really into specialty drinks but the menu has a lot of options. For me its espresso and it had a great flavor.
What a wonderful surprise! Great coffee, owners, staff and the decor. Loved my expresso with condensed milk.
A new favorite. Fantastic coffee, warm service, perfect space. Will be back soon and often.
I give 4 stars only because the espresso burn my mouth and thier house blend was extremely sour
Very good and cute place! Just took a while to get our coffees
Good coffee. I feel like it's a little too high a price
Exceptional coffee, wonderful staff, great atmosphere! A fabulous local coffee shop we highly recommend!
Cutbow is a local coffee shop with excellent freshly roasted coffees. It's a great place to start your day or hang out with friends and family and enjoy some quiet time or friendly discussion. Cutbow carries some nice beans and blends. Make it one of your daily stops!
Welcoming employees and owner. Great selection of coffee and teas. Location is not very big, but it has a home-y and comfortable vibe.
Honestly extremely impressed by this place! Happened to choose this spot on a road trip and we had the best Americano we've had in a long time. Wonderful atmosphere and super friendly staff.
High quality coffee shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Sign up for the coffee cupping if you have an opportunity to do so!
Great place. Certainly overpriced, but it's good coffee and the people are nice. My main complaint is that it needs signage. It's hard to find out where to order. For some reason the cashier isn't at the front, but around the corner from the entrance. This is fine but every time I'm in there I see people confused on how to order. Plus there's no indication that you bus your own table. There should be a sign for that too.
A beautiful place to meet with special friends and loved ones! The excellent coffee is only surpassed by the artful skill and passion of the owner and the knowledge and dedication to good service by the staff!
This place has awesome coffee and very nice staff. The inside is very comfortable as well. There is a large selection of good coffees and espressos. I come here often on the weekends to do work. I always get a lot done and have a good time. It also seems like a good place to grab a coffee after a bike ride because it is near the Bosque Trail.
Fun and hip coffee joint. I tried the herbal tea blend which was delicious. The owner loves fishing and coffee and tied the two loves together. Beautiful art work (featuring fish of course) and friendly service.
Nice new local coffee shop great coffee great little shop. I'll be coming here for my coffee now
Excellent coffee.
Great tasting coffees and helpful staff. Decor very tasteful and warm.
A gorgeous Cafe that I'll look forward to visiting again in the future. Beautiful atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and more importantly great coffee.
Great coffee! Great decor and vibe! Nice people. And far, far better that S*bucks just down the road. Support a truly great local place.
Love the atmosphere. Good staff and pleasant surroundings.
Great coffee, good people, bright vibe.
Very good for a semi-quick cafecito that'll give you some oomph!
Cutbow is the total package: fantastic coffee, friendly service, charming decor, and an overall top-notch experience.
Yesterday was my first time at Cutbow! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service was amazing! Thanks Paul for the yummy chi!
Great coffee spot! The staff are extremely nice!!!
I'm not a regular coffee drinker but Paul, the owner said ," maybe you haven't tasted fresh, well roasted coffee." He was right! This is really good coffee.
Fantastic local coffee shop, with wonderful people running it. If I lived in Albuquerque this would be my coffee shop. A must every time I'm in town from now on.
Cutbow just leveled up in ABQ for a premium coffee experience. A wide variety of coffees to select from including ways to have it served. You could order cold brew, espresso, french press or flights. Seating is a bit tight, but enough space to work with wifi.
Complete 5 stars... Service product and environment/vibe!! Love the angler motief.
Paul the owner/roaster: We call him the bean-whisperer. Amazing flavor!
Beautiful coffee shop inside with friendly staff and a great cup of Americano espresso. I'd gotten there a little bit late and missed the brewed coffee bled of the day, however I was accommodated with a complementary fill (of my own cup that I brought to save paper waste). I'm definitely going to come back! Thank you so very much for being so welcoming and flexible!
Amazing service and great coffee. The quality of the roast is very good. They were actively engaged in suggesting beans to try and providing information on the differences.
Great service! Great staff. Delicious coffee and scones! Very unique and trendy. Perfect fit for a coffee lover.
I have to say I love this fisherman themed place! Everything they have tastes great and carefully made. It seems every detail has been accounted for, excellent place.
Amazing coffee and ambience. The staff is very relaxed and knowledgeable and the owner is super attentive and charming. I recommend the lavender with vanilla iced latte!
The cappuccino is so good!
The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is great and the coffee and treats are delicious!
My 90 yr old mother and I love visiting Cutbow Coffee. It’s on her weekly “ to do” list! The coffee is smooth and aromatic. The best coffee in Albuquerque! The ambiance is soothing and zen-like. The owner Paul and his loving family have put so much blood sweat and tears into creating a beautiful place to stop and soak it all in. If you are visiting Albuquerque, this place is a must!
Great coffee and they have vegan, gluten free mini bundt cakes
Its great coffee.
Came here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! It’s very spacious and beautifully designed -the whole quirky vibe that you would expect from a coffee shop/roastery (they roast their beans in House!) I had a simple pour over coffee and really enjoyed it! I loved it so much that I bought a bag of beans while I was there (which I’m currently drinking ...frenchpress style ❤️) but I really liked it here. The staff was pretty friendly and there’s lots of parking available! If you haven’t checked this place out, do it!
I asked what their best iced drink was, they gave me iced coffee, when the have special iced drinks. That says a lot imo.
Wonderful place, people, and above all coffee!! Highly recommend.
Love this place! The facilities are beautiful and the coffee is wonderful! Cutbow is a great addition to the ABQ coffee scene.
The absolute best coffee in town I recommend this place hands down after living in Italy 4 years this is a great great substitute
We order a mi cafecito which is their good ol’ cup of coffee but we have it with steamed milk on top. Always a great weekend treat for some delicious coffee!
An awesome assortment of different roasts and coffees that you can try. I would highly recommend doing a taster flight of various coffees. They come in 3oz. portions in French presses, so be prepared for a decent amount of coffee. The staff are highly knowledgeable about their coffee and give some very good insight into the flavors prevelant in the coffee. Overall, it was a great experience I suggest you try at least once
Beautifully decorated, lovely music, very friendly staff and owner. I had the espresso with sweet condensed milk (iced as per my servers suggestion) and it was amazing. Bold not bitter, balanced with the perfect sweetness. The scones are delicious but not too sweet. I will absolutely be back to try more!!
Was on my way to Colorado and needed to take a break. This was the perfect stop. It's one of those places you wish were down the street from your home. Great location, ample parking, and we'll decorated inside. I'm sad I won't be able to try all of their offerings
As a 28 year veteran buyer, roaster and taster of specialty coffee I’m not easily impressed but Cutbow Coffee is nothing short of dazzling. Owner Paul Gallegos clearly knows more about coffee sourcing, blending and roasting than anyone else I’ve met in many years. In a world dominated by sour, under-roasted “Third Wave” and burnt beans from Charbucks Cutbow charts an enlightened middle way, offering moderately-roasted single origins and masterful blends of the highest quality. I doubt there’s is a finer coffee roaster in the country. Don’t let their humility and moderate prices fool you: this is a world class place run by people whose passion for excellence runs deep.
Love this place. We're traveling through New Mexico and stopped here twice! Great coffee, great ambiance, and the owner is so friendly. Highly recommend a tasting, he explains the different coffees around the world, and you can tell they're not just a product, they're an art and a passion. Everything about it is great!
Great atmosphere and the best coffee in ABQ
I am a picky coffee drinker. I rate this the highest of stars because the coffee is roasted perfectly. I love the variety and how knowledgeable the coffee roasters and baristas are. They offer nondairy milks and delicious vegan desserts as well. I am not a vegan but appreciate a scrumptious dessert to go with my coffee. This is the only place I will buy my beans from in Albuquerque.
Quite possibly the best coffee shop in Albuquerque. This is a place for REAL coffee drinks, not fru fru Starbucks-esque stuff. The price is reflective of this esteemed quality. The atmosphere is excellent. Pastries are also outstanding. We'll definitely be back sooner rather than later!
Delicious coffee, friendly staff. Beautiful shop
A beautiful coffee shop with a cozy but updated feel. The coffee is well-crafted and the staff are incredibly friendly. Free Wi-Fi and plenty of room to work or meet. Definitely my new favorite spot in the area!
The best coffee in Albuquerque, and the staff is knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend scheduling a cupping. You'll leave with a whole new appreciation for coffee.
Delicious coffee with a fun and cozy atmosphere! Can't wait to go back and try the coffee flight!
I've been looking for a place that is friendly, comfortable and makes delicious coffee. I have found my new favorite coffee shop! Down to earth people, beautifully decorated building with a welcoming feel. Absolutely awesome coffee. My husband said, "this is as smooth as a fine whiskey". Great place. Definitely recommend.
Really cute place with amazing coffee! Extensive list of coffee beans to choose from
First time I walk into Cutbow, my kid live in Dallas, they tried Cutbow, and told me to try it, I love it and will return. Coffee of the day and a Scone!!!
Good coffee, good service.
Great place! Great vibe. I'm not a coffee drinker so I enjoyed a cup of tea. It was delicious and the service was great even though we got there close to closing.
Simple, excellent family run place for great coffee, inviting and laid-back atmosphere, and good people. Basic menu with all that you need. Highest quality locally roasted coffee, hand made syrups etc. This place is a testament that less truly can be more.
On their website menu it said they had affogato, but it turns out they don't. I had gone there specifically for that because I like their coffee. Disappointed. So I went to Flying Star for affogato.
Always great! Wonderful atmosphere, delicious coffee, friendly staff.
Best pour over Sumatra that I've had in years!
The coffee taste so delicious
Paul is a wonderful, friendly owner. You'll know him by his trademark look. Good coffee offerings.
Chic coffee shop with plenty of tables and parking.
Love this spot. Quickly rose to the top echelons of my coffee place list. They have phenomenal roasts and a great selection. The tea is wonderful. Great vibe.
Awesome coffee and nice ambiance.
Great little coffee shop. Friendly staff, nice seating, the gluten free pastries were DELICIOUS.
My husband and I love to discover and support local coffee shops. We have been to some amazing coffee shops here on Albuquerque and all over the U.S. but we went to Cutbow today and hands down the best coffee, service, decor, atmosphere and they treated our two young boys so well. The coffee was AMAZING!
Fantastic coffee and amazing crew working there!
Great coffee tea and pastries in a beautiful space
thank you for being legendary. even the drip was amazing (pour over quality)
Love the decor, the friendliness of the owners/staff, and the drinks are amazing with great presentation. Will definitely return when I'm in town!
Excellent coffee and nice workers
We had a great time during their cupping experience, which was casual and informative. People here are very friendly, and they have great coffee. The pastries there are also great. Definitely we will go back whenever we are in town.
These guys know their stuff! Great coffee!
Best coffee house in town
Great place to get some work done with good coffee :)
They serve divine coffee properly made!!
Unique coffee experience! The staff, the best & a excellent place to connect. Gracias!
I love the mocha here because it's not sweet! The atmosphere is chill & the staff are so genuinely friendly. This is my favorite coffee hangout in Albuquerque.
Best coffee be on town. Unpretentious and awesome staff. Nothing not to love about this place
I finally made it here! Great americano. Really nice atmosphere and staff.
First time in today. Have driven by several times as I have patient in area. Cool relax inviting ambiance. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will be back for sure!
Delicious coffee shop! They have a variety of beans to purchase and a great coffee menu. They also offer some tea options. Seating available is decent, not a huge hang out spot but perfect to sip your drink and read the news.
Great beverages
Friendly people, knowledgeable about coffee and super scrumptious baked goods! It would have been perfect if it had automatic doors to make it more wheelchair accessible.
The service is above average. Coffee is excellent We ate a mini chocolate bundt that was very tasty.
