REVIEWS OF Penstock Coffee Roasters IN New Jersey

Timothy Doherty

Great place with delicious baked goods and coffee. Love the vegan options.

Amalia Strain

Deserves to have a five star rate. Good place to have some time with their delicious coffee with their some specialties. Great people around and great service as well.

Carolyn gappa

I consider this coffee shop my second home. I love the chill vibe and of course their variety of coffees. I often go here to do work. My favs are their Nitro brew or their almond milk cappuccinos.

Patrick Jensen

Great atmosphere, friendly baristas and the best coffee you'll find in jersey.

Cristina Lozano Argüelles

Nice enviroment, I didn't like their coffee (decaf), but I'm used to coffee from southern Europe and don't usually like coffee in the US. They expanded and have a more spacious area now. Good to do some work or a quiet conversation over coffee.

David Rogoff

Fun coffee hang out, coffee always fresh and interesting. Delicious pastries, lots of casual sitting areas, inside as well as off the sidewalk outside.

Agata Rybałkiewicz

Coffee shop is a bit off Main Street. Relaxed atmosphere and the new addition adds more space to sit and enjoy your drink! They have options like oat milk and don't automatically lid and straw your drink so you can be more environmentally friendly.

Aaron Levitt

Great hot chocolate and cookies, spacious with good ambiance, pleasant service

Asad Mughal

Nice people good coffee

Reyna MD

I would give 10 stars if I could. But I give 4 because they don't stay open past 5 or 6pm except for Tuesday which I believe is 9pm. So I don't get to enjoy this place as its always closed when I would want to go. Maybe consider staying open later? Not everyone likes to drink alcohol at Pino's and that's our only late spot in town. I would come and support if y'all stayed open later. :)

Jimmy Yoon

The coffee tasted very good and there's a nice vibe to the place. Carol was very kind, as was the rest of the staff.

Jordan Cherri

The smell when you come in here is so gooood.

Punit Shah

Super relaxing spot for a good coffee and some great tunes. I'd recommend going here when the tables are out. Nitro cold brew was a bit weak but single origin pour overs are on point and compete only with Hidden Grounds in the area

Funof3 _

Love it here! Love the chocolate chip cookies too!

Chase Hulderman

Some of the best coffee that I've had. All their coffee is roasted in the shop weekly, and you can tell. Very fresh. Very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Paul-Anthony Dudzinski

Hole in the wall coffee shop that cares about fair trade and makes a great latte.

Jacob Shulman

I've been studying for finals and law review at OQ, and the staff are friendly, the drinks are strong and delicious, and the customer base is loyal and respectful.

Irina Zakhartchenko

Nice vibe! Definitely will come back for that morning coffee and positive reinforcement!

Richard Tracy

Eclectic coffee shop with live entertainment.

Alexa Hepburn

Coffee good but echo what others have said about milk options - only almond if you want to go dairy free and a rather sullen and defensive response when you ask if they might reinstate it any time.

Laura Pitcock

Amazing capucinno and it's nice they have outdoor seating.

SirMikeProvolone

Better than Starbucks, but there's better coffee in the area

h g

Cute spot for coffee/tea with good atmosphere, but pricey. They have good non-dairy options too. Gets very crowded, but the additional seating they have helps balance it more. They also have seating outside, so it's great during the warm weather.

Margaret Bridge

Excellent coffee, friendly staff

Ashley Wharton

Small, cozy coffee shop that takes its coffee seriously. Great owners and very pleasant staff. Looking forward to the expansion... They have begun work to expand into the space next door.

Glen Sherman

Meh.

Ray W

Nice quiet shop. Great coffees, teas, and sandwiches

Fatima Bubuza

Mmhhh yum

Tim Sheehy

Place sucks. Coffee is overpriced and awful. Not enough proper seating. Poor attempt at creating a hip scene.

Isaac Scott

Hip but pricey. It tastes like they use quality ingredients

Asif Dipon

Cozy and quiet shop with good coffee blends.

Pan Pan

I agree with everyone else about the service, the atmosphere, and setup. It is an excellent place to spend some time either by your own or with a friend. They even have some tables and seats outside, which could take more people in a warm day. But, I did not like the coffee. The espresso has a very strong acidity, which almost covers all other aroma and flavors. To me, their espresso is way out of balance, and I think even Starbucks is better than OQ. But this is my own opinion and just about espresso. I have never tried any other coffee there.

french cream

Good coffee and friendly staffs. I just wished there were more seating areas; it seems they are occupied by students with laptops.

Dan Betz

As a coffee shop I cannot give this a review because I am not a coffee drinker, but my fiance loves it. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the employees are always incredibly nice. When I do go, I enjoy their tea offerings, and they have such a great variety of ways to serve it. Their little outdoor tables are nice, the only problem is there is occasionally no seating available.

Chaim Gluck

Great coffee at this spot.

mehmet kaplan

I finished writing my dissertation here many years ago.

Devin J. Mills

Great coffee in a classic coffeehouse atmosphere

The FPV Life

Aaaaahhhh Great Aroma and such a superb Coffee house. I highly recommend.

Tatiana L

Another Local Place on the list for my mother and I. #highlandparklocals Totally recommend such a relaxing atmosphere inside and out. Excellent customer service as well. Will definitely be returning. #yogi_photog

Sergei Basov

Great coffee, delicious thumbprint cookies, relaxed atmosphere. This place has everything to be a 5-star coffee shop and added to a must visit list for local coffee shops.

Eugene Shutov

Great coffee, probably the best I had. (Cold brew)

Aaron Schwartz

This is such a terrific spot. Really high end coffee, far superior to any chain, at comparable prices for a drip cup. Expect to pay more ($5 range) for a pour over, nothing unexpected there and again excellent beans. Wide range of choices as well. Nice decor, they recently expanded inside to double the seating. Would suggest they do something to deflect the AC as it's directly above a bunch of the seats. Got pretty chilly there and had to move today.

tinshield 20

Great little coffee shop and roastery. Third wave/artisnal style cafe. Nice atmosphere. Only minus are the banker type hours. Can buy cups of coffee or their own roasted bags of coffee for your home machines. Small pastries and treats available too. Love the place!

Power Enough

Awesome. I have been here twice. I like it.

Lauren Bailey

Very appetizing. The staff was very sociable and kind. Prices were average for the menu. Feels like a place in Charlotte that I enjoyed visiting.

Christian Sanchez

The coffee here is always on point, it’s incredible. And the people are super polite. Highly recommend.

Christian Cuison

Friendly staff and cozy environment. Also, amazing coffee!

Darius Johnson

OQ's new addition is awesome! Still same great coffee!

HelloLilKitty1

NYC vibe without paying an arm and leg to get there. Hipster but very friendly. Good coffee and fun baristas.

Muralidhar Ka

Always Nice coffee and nice varieties for coffee lovers

Kevin Wang

Loved it! Patrick was the best barista. Really kind staff. Coming back in the morning.

Evan Gentry

Great place to study or drop in on the weekend with the family. Kids corner keeps the kids entertained long enough to enjoy a scone and a latte! Best coffee in NJ!

Laszlo Szabo

2nd the previous three reviewer's comments. The coffee is superb, the service is friendly, and the staff are artists whose art is on display. Highly recommend. There's wifi also, so you can hang out and work.

Frankie Schifano

Came in for some single origin whole beans. Got what i came for and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Steven White

Great coffee, great ambiance

Michael Rogers

Loved it

Alexandra Paredes

Too expensive for the quality.

ff ff

One of the two really excellent cups of coffee in the nb/hp area. But overpriced. Just too much money.

Shelee S. Saal

Ooo lala. Really nice staff. Eager to please. Lovely coffee, tea, pastry, etc. selection. It's not a deli or cafe. It's about the liquid and pastry mostly (light offering of yogurt--ask/call if that's what will be an expectation. All ages of humans welcomed. Board and other games, mind teasers, cards, children's corner available. Noise level varies depending on who's there. Headphones for private listening is welcomed so you are in control of your exposure to sound around you

Randall Levin

Overall a very good coffee shop. The place is a bit small, so getting a real coffee break here can be a challenge. The staff is friendly and only occasionally snobby. I've scoured the state of New Jersey for great coffee and this place is in my top ten. The roasting is not (yet) top tier, up there with the very best, more experienced, roasters in the state (Ahrre's, Rojo's, Jersey Shore), but they have a lot of potential. They are still being a bit too precious with their beans, and everything is slightly under-roasted. I appreciate the flavors one gets from a lighter roast as much as anybody, but oil extraction is important as well, especially for espresso drinks (just ask the Italians!). Also, no matter how much a coffee snob you are, sometimes you just don't need to taste every little undertone and piece of scrub brush that was growing in the soil with your beans in order to enjoy a solid cup of Joe. Hopefully they will keep learning and building on the good thing they have going so far. Oh, also, the dairy is outstanding here, which is no small thing.

Danielle Salerno

Amazing coffee and yummy pastries. Staff is really helpful and friendly.

Susan R

Best 3$ chocolate chip cookie! Regular Coffee is overpriced and left a bitter after taste.

W Lop

I couldn't buy a bag of coffee 10 mins after 6PM because they closed the cash register; which BTW is an iPad. I guess I won't be going back to Penstock for awhile!

Mary Kate

The iced chai latte I had was delicious, but I will not be returning due to my service experience. I stopped in after going to the farmers market and walking around on a hot day with my son. First, I was given an odd look when I walked in with my stroller (clearly staring at the stroller). After I order my drink the woman behind the counter rolled her eyes at me; all while still giving the stroller the evil eye so quite impressive. She then took my payment, handed me my card and just walked away. This last part wouldn't have bothered me had she not asked every other person before and after me would they like to find a seat or leave. I was clearly being treated differently for coming in with my son. I could see if he was yelling or crying, but he was playing happily in his stroller and distracting no one. As it was a hot day and we needed to cool off, we sat until I finished my latte and my son had some water. During this entire time my son never cried, but we were still given dirty looks from the people behind the counter. I am all about supporting local businesses and was excited to visit this coffee shop but will never be returning after this treatment.

Greg B

One of my favorites! Great coffee, cool atmosphere as well. Relaxing!

Deepti Jain

Cute cafe with good options for coffee/tea and free Wi-Fi. It's a bit pricey though. I have had better for less

Plamen Kamenov

The coffee is fantastic, but the place is way too quiet. Whenever I walk in, the baristas warmly welcome you but then people busy studying turn to look at you. Its hard to navigate the place because of the weird rows of tables and the seating split into two rooms. Once I tripped over a heavy cast iron chair and the noise was so loud everyone turned to look at me. I would suggest changing the seating arrangement and playing some mellow background music at all times. I would go many more times if I could avoid the awkwardness created by these poor design choices.

Danny Hom

Coffee house customers are mostly college kids but the coffee is the main attraction here. The pour over in a Chemex makes a world of difference. You choose the bean you want and they will grind it and brew it for you. A hipster coffee bar located in Highland Park!

Kevin Stianchi

Very strong but very good coffee.

Dmitry G

A Highland Park classic, this place never ceases to amaze! Though pricey, the drinks are top notch, with ethically sourced coffee, and the seating is comfortable and there's free Wi-Fi. OQ is a great place to study, write, work, chill, meet people, and find out about local events. It's dog friendly, so that makes it even more fun! Also, this is one of the only places I've been able to find in NJ that offers Oat Milk. Try it out - it's delicious!

Benjamin Weir

Great cold brew. Update: best americano I've had anywhere. So smooth! A little steep with the pricing however, but worth it for the great coffee.

Oscar Trapp

Great coffee. They roast their own beans. The interior is nice, the staff is friendly.

Mike Briganti

I'm very confused by these reviews. I'm a local who really would have loved for this place to be good, and I tried different drinks multiple times throughout the past year. I have been here three times and I have truly never had a good cup of coffee. I would have been able to tolerate a decent coffee because the location and atmosphere of this place is great. I think there are a few problems with the coffee here: Primarily their iced drinks are severely watered down. The coffee is also too bitter which leads me to think they aren't using their equipment properly. I really wish this place was good, and hopefully it improves because it's the only local coffee shop, but I've tried OQ too many times and I've always been disappointed.

Janna Ellis Kepley

Barista was very helpful when I had no idea what I was trying to order. Inside is warm and inviting, wood everywhere!

Dragoslav Stojadinović

Beautiful shop, great service, good coffee, very nice and cozy atmosphere, a bit overpriced.

Kelly Kato

I like the teas and cookies they serve, and it's very convenient if you live in the area. Coffee lovers really like the coffee here too. It's just a little hard to find a seats sometimes because it's a small place. It would be perfect if it were bigger.

Joanna Lim

Great coffee, helpful staff!

John Grun

Great coffee shop. Only one in a few I will go out of my way for.

Lawrence Lin

Tasty espresso at an affordable price. Convenient location on Raritan!

William Jones

Really good coffee.

Yehonadav Feygin

Great hot and iced almond milk lattes! Chai tea latte is great too. Staff very friendly and accommodating

Alex Wan

Staff are helpful and welcoming. Beautiful decor with a relaxed vibe. Great place to hang out if you're in the area.

Christie Raymond

Want a great tasting cup of coffee and nothing else??? GO HERE. It will cost you though. Prepare to feel totally awkward. This is they type of hipster place that wants to set themselves apart from all other coffee shops by attempting to be 'different': only one size drink = prepare to be corrected No sweetener = prepare to be enlightened Try to ask about their brewing method = prepare to be brushed off as if everyone that's anyone knows what you don't The barista never addressed me. He thoroughly stared me down though. Perhaps his admirable beard muffled his words though because I could have sworn I hear him say something about only offering one size drink. If you are in search of VEGAN options and this place pops up in your search - know that the options are limited. There was one vegan pastry - a petite ginger snap cookie. And they only offer ONE vegan milk option (almond).

Robert G

You new website is not an improvement , it's not as user friendly and does not give information as the old one has !!! Everything else is great by the way.

Anna Ogilvie

Love the environment, drinks, and food. A place of comfort

Zeeshan Zahid

The thing I like about local coffee shops is that they care about the customers and make sure you get nice cup of coffee. I tried their nitro coffee and iced matcha latte and both were really good, I would say it was a lot better than what you get from a well know coffee franchises. Nice atmosphere and best service. Definitely come back for more and I'll suggest whoever reads it should support these kind of local coffee house around them.

sahil parikh

Cozy place with decent coffee

John Hynek

Friendly staff and the best coffee in the area.

Belinda Blakley

Everything here is delicious and the baristas are fun. I just wish they had more space (maybe open up a second location? ). Try the ginger snaps!

Daniel Clark

The coffee here is good, and the atmosphere is great. Now that they've expanded it makes it even more conducive to doing work here.

Shaaban Rizvi

Truly fulfills all expectations when one imagines a "Coffee Roaster". Warm, welcoming environment; courteous baristas and they offer snacks locally sourced from different non-profits. They're doing a great job and they make their own mocha syrup so no artificial nonsense

Corey Schuler

Great local coffee roaster. Off to a great start! Sophisticated staff who know their coffee! Cozy wooden decor. Try the iced mocha!

Bryce Raymond

I walked in and the Baristas were transcribing ancient Roman scrolls into their MacBook Pros. I looked around, and most of the patrons seemed to be doing the same. I ordered a latte, which I hoped would be splendid. I was not disappointed! I ordered a latte with maple syrup, and the barista crafted it with gleeful excellence. He even drew a flower in the milk. I would definitely come back here for excellent coffee and good vibes.

Neil Fein

Great coffee and wifi, friendly employees. Clean bathroom. Can be a little crowded.

Dave Zwieback

The best third wave coffee shop in the area.

Kyle

I was actually really let down by this place. I took a group with me to try this place since I saw all the good reviews, and we didn’t technically get either their cappuccino or regular hot coffee the other reviewers rave about so I don’t know if this review is fair, but we did get a hot chocolate and iced coffee which both tasted really horrible and were thrown out when my group left the place. I was actually embarrassed for recommending we go here. Also note everything their is mostly in the $4 + range so not really a bargain place either. I over all don’t recommend.

Kate Tullio

Consistently the best coffee I've had in the greater NYC area. I'm being serious -- OQ's blends are my favorite. Their service is top-notch, the decor is wonderful, their drinks are always smooth and well made, there's a ton of vegan options and the staff is just lovely. Coming here is one of my favorite parts of the day!

Amy Dees

Best coffee around! Delicious maple lattes in the winter. The expansion is fantastic... Many more tables and chairs. A cute kids corner now too.

Juan Ayala

Very nice atmosphere to visit and sit for a while. The staff are very inviting and I think that their motto is even "start a conversation." The coffee that is served here is amazing and seems to be very well thought out, rather than servicing on-the-cheap. The new expansion makes OQ even more inviting because of the comfortable seating.

Jonathan Gray

Consistently the best coffee. I have had some of the best shots of espresso and made-to-order Pour Overs at this shop.

Keshav Bhandari

I loved this place instantly. Came in with me wife on Aug 4th at 11:20. It was slightly busy but received our orders within 4 minutes. There is everything good about this place. It’s located slightly away from the busy road so one can avoid all the noises. The ambience is warm and friendly. Our servers were really nice and inspite of being busy they were there to answer our questions (“what is satcha?” Haha) Ended up ordering that and a latte. Would definitely come back here again , accumulate points and drink this seasonal flavor - Satcha.

Timothy Dees

Just opened, but possibly the world's greatest coffee shop. The coffee is roasted in house, the staff is friendly, and the decor is charming.

Meaghan Alexander

Really cozy cute place! Very good find, so glad they're here.

Shyam Patel

Always a great place to hang out from 5 minutes to a few hours. Excellent coffee and matcha! And the nitro brew!!!

J M

Yum.

Curtis Johnson

Love this place for their delicious bakery items, lattes, sustainable coffee sourcing, and reliable WiFi. During nice weather grab a table outside and enjoy! It can get noisy at peak times but it's a great place to work from for extended times if you can handle that, and even has some toys if you're meeting a friend and bringing the kids. The recent remodel/expansion opened up a lot more space but I feel they could use it a little more efficiently. I can't put my finger on it, but with different furniture and/or arrangement I bet they could fit 20 more people confortably.

Reggie McDonald

Really like the vibe. Drinks and snacks are very good.

Natalie Woollerton

Great small-coffee-shop atmosphere. Nice staff. A lot of people come and get coffee in a mug and chill out for a little while, to do homework or just hang out. Kind of a hipster feel, but that's not always a bad thing.

Karen Botha

went here so my aussie husband could try some good coffee. he said it was alright. the matcha wasn't the best. but overall good effort.

Adam Pober

Great coffee ☕, knowledgeable staff, fantastic service, chill vibe. The only down to this place is seating can sometimes be hard to get, both indoor and out.

Chaim Cohen

You can order anything, and they will have it. This is the only coffee shop I'll go to when I want good coffee. You have to deal with the coffee shop crowd, but you can't fault them for that.

Rich Kiamco

Chill, friendly, cozy and vegan options ... Wifi... PLUS kombucha!

Nick Dickerson

Always great coffee and a great atmosphere.

Brenton Porter

Fantastic cozy coffee shop and roastery. Beautiful decor, burlap bags of raw beans , and knowledgeable staff create a coffee shop experience that does not exist elsewhere in central Jersey.

Blake Anthony

Best coffee in Central Jersey. Staff cares about the coffee. I wish the seating was more cozy and comfortable. Good for a brief pause to enjoy an espresso.

Kathleen Gill

Had an iced latte that was very tasty. Atmosphere is awesome, artsy with all kinds of different things people. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!

Steve Bagienski

I love the vegan food and atmosphere...a bit pricey as expected for organic and vegan but its a nice place to study. Only complaint is its too small and can get crowded. If it's full you're out of luck and wasted a trip if you came to do work there.

Chris Russoniello

You pay for it, but the coffee and atmosphere are super good.

Emi Johnson

Best customer service

Timothy Ball

Chill, quaint spot to enjoy a cortado. My favorite place to go to grab a drip coffee or a hand crafted espresso. The beans they roast are flavorfully delicious. A mouthful so right you always want to come back. I recommend this to anybody who wants a quality cup without having to venture too far out of their orbit. As I said in the beginning, my go to is the cortado. Give it a try. It will not disappoint. Check this place out for a unique coffee or espresso sipping experience.

Eric Tuttle

These people really care about good coffee! Atmosphere is great. Owners very friendly.

Heather Oligny

Such an awesome shop! Great coffee and selection of pastries. I really appreciate their commitment to sustainability, both through their coffee sourcing and their offering of reusable cups.

Benjamin Berman

Delicious coffee and extremely friendly!!!

Sammy Keyes

Very bitter coffee with a terrible taste. I really am not a fan of this coffee. It's a shame because the space is beautiful. Their chai is quite good but very overpriced.

Lauren Warner

Excellent coffee served in a warm, friendly atmosphere. So glad we came across Penstock when we stopped to stretch our legs! Thanks for a great experience!

Jeffrey Dennis

Meh coffee, extremely expensive. Lots of laptop people, not very inviting if you want to have some coffee and talk. Apparently it’s the “best coffee in the state” I’ve had better at a local diner and it didn’t cost $6.

Nicholas Catucci

Love coming here for a coffee. Sometimes I grab and go, other times I lounge for an hour or two. Best pour over selection around.

Sabrina Walley

Summary: so far a great coffee shop! I really like how down to earth this place is. If your more into jazzy/relaxed music while you study or read, go here! The staff are very friendly and will help you out with any needs you have. Things I wish I knew before I got there: - the drinks menu is RIGHT at the entrance. It's a small white window frame to the left when you walk in. -grabbing a good table to study at is pretty hard, be prepared to either leave and find another place (like the Dunkin down the street) or share one of the big tables. - look for the extension cords or outlets before you sit down! - grab a cardigan or light jacket to put on in case you get stuck under the fan (and vice versa when they turn on the heat!). - be mindful of the sunset/lighting in the shop, you can get hit with some serious light whilst studying if you're not careful.

Ta Rachi

They actually know about coffee and that's important in my opinion.

Ridge p

As says another reviewer here, great coffee(Single origin pour overs) but only giving 4 stars since they are never open later. Who closes at 5pm on a Saturday?

Ronald Schechter

This is by far the best cappuccino I've had in a long time, possibly the best ever and quite possibly the best in all of New Jersey. The cappuccino is smooth, rich, it is heavenly. These people are experts, they are caring, they love the coffee. They roast their own. I bought a package of Kenya beans, they ground it up for me. It is the best. Not bitter at all. There's plenty of room to hang out and tons of people with their laptops. The recently expanded and did a nice job with the interior design. They also have funky coffee house art on the walls.

Dan Sohayda

A great alternative to your average neighborhood Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. Inside they have a rustic wood-heavy theme going on with a lot of seating relative to their size. You have a lot of beverage options to choose from including your standard pour over and even the wonderful AeroPress method (which they also sell if you don't have one for some reason). They roast their own coffee and have fantastically descriptive labels to help you pick just the right acidity, body and flavor to suit your tastes. Baked goods are from a place in PA (or at least I think that's what I was told), and feature your standard cafe staples like crumb cake, but also unique chili infused cup cakes which we didn't try, but will be doing so ASAP. I have been looking for a place just like this whenever I've been to NYC figuring they only exist there, but I am so glad to have found OQ Coffee Co. so close to home.

William Paxton

Coffee - The best I have had. These guys take very good care to every detail of the coffee making experience. Highly recommended. Food - I think their baked goods are well done but a bit expensive. Especially since they are stored in the refrigerator, I am not sure how fresh they actually are. Their granola bars are very good, but once again, $3 for a bar is a bit expensive. Service - The service is excellent - just what you would expect from a local coffee shop. People get to know you by name and make sure that you are getting exactly what you want and that you are comfortable. Decor/Atmosphere - The decor and environment is really quite nice. I have gone here to work on writing and if you can get a seat at the big table, it is great. They have free WiFi (a must) and a nice selection of music that is played. Still, they are just starting out so I don't expect everything to be perfect. Some of the furniture is quite minimal and feels very cheap. I hope that they invest in better furniture as they continue to mature. The other thing is that the temperature seems to be very hot sometimes. I am sure they will work out whatever HVAC issues there are. Better yet, I think they will continue to grow and find a better location, one that is bigger and more visible. Summary - OQ is one of my favorite local businesses. They offer delicious and unique coffees to the Highland Park community.

Vivek Kumar

One of the best cappuccino in the area. The ambience is nice and would be great to get a sip of coffee sitting in the open in summer.

Sivakumar Kalyanaraman

Their thumbprint cookies are to die for!

Meh Photos

The coffee house is pretty inconspicuous from the outside, so it's not hard to miss driving by. The inside is really nice, but it felt crammed and confined due to the arrangement of everything. The items are expensive. The cookie we had was nice. We also ordered a mocha latte, but there didn't seem to be any mocha in it.

Robert Ponist

By far some of the best coffee on the East Coast! If you're in the area then treat yourself, you won't regret it!

Victor Kaiser-Pendergrast

Great coffee! The outside looks like any other coffee shop, but the interior is rather cozy. Many of the other reviews didn't like the seating arrangement, but I had no problem with it. There's plenty of room to bring a laptop or some work and spread out. The staff is friendly and good at what they do. The baristas more than willing to let you order off menu and are very accommodating. One of my new favorite coffee houses.

Varsha Agnihotri

Coffee was good. Chill atmosphere. And free cold water on the side which is was great for a such a hot day

Serge Zaretsky

A great local find that roasts amazing beans. Lots of different varieties to suit everyones tastes. Really good espresso shots.

Craig Ostroff

Simply the best! Lots of locals know this secret. Friendly people gather here. The coffee is just ...wow. The staff is very nice and mellow. Try to catch the open mic night showcasing local (musical) artists.

Waheed Bajwa

I love to work at this place because of the atmosphere, the coffee, and the skills of the baristas. This place used to be congested in terms of space, but they have recently expanded, which makes it even more ideal. The only thing I wish this place would change is its timing; it closes at 6 pm on weekdays and I wish it would stay open longer.

Sam Steen

Nice place for eating a light snack or coffee. I like how they support the community.

Corrine Paulson

Small servings and expensive. Good coffee but not supremely good coffee, too expensive for the value.

Amanda S

They have really great coffee here and the vegan ginger snaps are the best! It's a bit small sitting space so sometimes there won't always be seating but it's been rare that I haven't been able to get a seat. A good place to work quietly and have a great cup of coffee.

Pat LePore

Great spot for a fresh cup of coffee. Large menu, drinks largely made to order. Authentic coffee house for sure.

Doris Watkins

Staff are helpful and welcoming. Beautiful decor with a cool atmosphere. Great place to hang out.

Joshua Best

Great coffee, excellent spot to meet up or work alone. Impressive coffee tree with ripe coffee cherries!

Lenny Leopere

Delicious coffee, roasted in house. Great consistent baristas what more do you need? There seems to be a stage with a microphone I didn't ask what for but it's a smaller stage. They have some outdoor seating and two of the three patio tables have umbrellas.

Lewis Rabayda

This is an espresso aficionado's delight. I have not had their other drinks, because espresso is my drink of choice—and is the real test of a coffee shop's abilities. Their espresso is at the higher end of the anti-starbucks craft roaster movement: it is light to medium in roast while producing an immensely strong coffee that caffeinates you for hours to come. The taste is different between their two seasonal espresso roasts, but both are sweet and fruity with a complexity usually reserved for fine wines. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular for life.

Mohammad Ali Maddah-Ali

Very nice place with excellent service. Strongly recommended.

Samantha Gans

Teeny tiny tables. Really expensive coffee, which I wouldn't mind if I liked it more. No food except pastries.

Anju Suri Anand

A nice place to hang out with a cup of coffee or tea

Mehul Vora

EXCELLENT cafe. Coffees and service are both A+

Keith Win

Delicious coffee and affogato

Fernando Acosta

Unfriendly barista. Coffee was bitter. About 85 degrees. Over priced. In this heat....only 1 fan was on. Seats are uncomfortable. Will say it is clean....but not what I wanted. Will keep trying.

周伯威
