My wife and I visited Cape May and were looking for a good cup of coffee. We found Out There and decided to give it a try. I had the sweet cream espresso and she had an iced latte with almond milk. This had to be some of the best coffee I've had in a while. I don't think I can ever go back to my local Starbucks again. The coffee was so rich and flavorful that I had to go back for another. All of their cups and straws are recyclable too. The owners were very pleasant to talk to, and I really got the sense that they care about what they are serving. Highly recommended.

Great spot and great atmosphere! The coffee is high quality and the Lumberjack is my fav! The shop has tons of custom wood work and it looks awsome inside! Super friendly staff also! Highly recommend checking it out!

The iced lumberjack is life. The owners are incredible people who I consider friends. They will talk to you about anything and everything, and their deep love for everything coffee is contagious. It's rare you find people who genuinely love what they do and strive to be better everyday. Go see them and you will not regret it.

My wife and I were lucky enough to find Out there coffee last year while staying for a few days. Last night we stopped in again and if anything the store has only gotten better. Extremely friendly and attentive staff and great coffee. This is a must stop for us when we are in the area.

Let me just be bold and put this out there (ha puns), Out There Coffee is the best place to get a pick me up on the island. Hands. Down. The selection is fantastic, you want a Turmeric Ginger and Cinnamon power beverage to put some pep in your step? They got you. You want an Avocado smoothie with spinach, yogurt? They got you. You want delicious gluten free, dairy free options, perhaps collagen peptides? They got you. Or if you just want a straight up coffee, they got you. This is all backed by owners that are just they best people around, always friendly and talkative and they clearly take passion in what they’re brewing up.

Finally, a place to get a great cup of black coffee in Cape May! The Ethiopian Yrgacheffe (sp?) was delicious and the owners were very cool and passionate people. The shop has an upbeat and outdoorsy vibe that seems to be an authentic extension of their lifestyle and interests, which is refreshing in an age where so much is mere branding. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know here since I tried it and I may never get coffee anywhere else in the county again.

Truely artisanal in every respect, the owners of this cafe are passionate and skilled at making the very best coffee - hands down. Importing only the finest raw beans from around the world, every batch is freshly roasted and exquisitely brewed to perfection. The head barista is as knowledgeable about coffee as Einstein was on his own theory of relativity. Even their lattes and specialty drinks are crafted with organic ingredients. Let me not forget to mention the Super Food Lattes on their menu! As one coffee guru to another, I simply can not recommend a better coffee shop. Out There Coffee is simply unmatched, unrivaled, and for any other cafe to compete would be like climbing Mt Everest in a bathing suit! We visited Cape May for the first time and had the most frustrating time finding a good cup of coffee. We finally stumbled upon Out There—and never looked back. Their espresso was perfect; we got the lighter roast Ethiopian coffee beans. Didn't try their coffee but I'm sure it's just as good. The cafe has such a welcoming and warming vibe. The baristas were super friendly and knowledgeable. Their customers seemed to be regulars, and very happy. I think that's always a sign you've found something special.

Wonderful place, wonderful people! We were lucky enough to find this place the first day it opened. Owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee. Some of the best coffee I ever had. My kids had the mango and strawberry smoothies - delicious! We came back the very next day to get some more. Reasonably priced, very tasty drinks and lovely locally baked goods, which we were invited to sample for free. Worth the trip!!

We stayed in Stone Harbor at the end of Sept, to do a reset from a busy year. Most of the businesses were already closed for the season, and we were ok with that, nice and quiet! But finding a good cup of coffee became a fun excursion each morning as we tried each and every still open venue from Avalon to Cape May. We did find a few places, but after reading the back story of "Out There Coffee", we had to go there to check it all out. We've been here for 20 years, but I'm CA born and bred, and my heart will always be in the West. I'm also hoping for a tiny travel adventure back West in my near future, so that fueled the fire even more! Like minds, like minds! Despite all that fun stuff, Nikki and Craig were down to earth, just wonderful people. And the coffee? FANTASTIC! We went back each day after that and even made a trip back down our last day, (in the opposite direction mind you) before heading back North to our every day life! Good luck N&C, keep brewing great coffee!

I may be a little biased, since the owners are my daughter and son-in-law! But I can tell you, from behind the scenes, that they are totally passionate about what they’re doing, about delivering the highest quality products they can find, about being ecologically responsible ( Craig makes weekly, at least, trips to recycle all of their plastic goods, since no such recycling is available at their location, only cardboard ), and about hoping to inspire others to get “Out There” and follow their dreams! Oh, and they have the best damn coffee and smoothies anywhere! And, try the gluten free zucchini bread, To Die For!! ❤️☕️
