Great local bakery, with quality coffee and nicely decorated space. Croissants are large and very well made. Still making my way through the menu but so far everything I've tried has been good, a regular weekend spot as I live nearby.

Great addition to downtown! This might be the best chocolate chip cookie I've had in a long time. Large, and soft, good ratio of chocolate and a sprinkle of flaked sea salt on top. Also a good selection of croissants and breads. The only downside is certain items are overpriced but not everything is. $15 for babka is crazy, but $8 for a large loaf of quality bread (I got the olive loaf), is ok.

The chocolate croissant is pretty decent, the bread looks amazing. Unfortunately they have to work on their coffee, cappuccino was weak.

I love this place and want to take everyone I know here! Their pastries and coffee are phenomenal and they always switch up their selection of sandwiches and salads. Stop in for a quick breakfast or lunch. Outdoor seating too

Tried Liv for breakfast today. Setting is modern and clean, and a greatr addition to the neighborhood. Shared excellent whole wheat croissant and long roll with olives, and purchased alluring whole wheat loaf to take home. However, coffee was unimpressive and not hot, and overpriced at $4, for which I received only 3/4 of a modest size cup. At 9 am, LIv remarkably ran out of coffee, so they offered my wife decaf or an Americano. It also needs to add a printer for card receipts for customers who don't want to turn over their email/cell phone to Liv's POS vendor.

We had lunch here before going to the Papermill theater and then we stop back for some snacks after the performance everything that we had from the sandwiches to the pastries and bread are well above five stars. I was so impressed that I had to introduce myself to the chef owner.

This is easily my favorite local bakery! I’ve been coming since they opened and each time I return I’m delighted by improvements they make to their offerings and decor. I’ve bought and loved their croissants, financiers, babka, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, lox croissants, and burrata sandwiches. There could be some improvement on pricing; they’re on the expensive side - which hasn’t kept me away but I don’t come as often as I’d like. Coffee is average, at best, and is served lukewarm; not worth the $5. I’d also like to see consistent offerings in the deli/savory type section, which tends to run out or get stocked late; I came at 2pm on a Saturday hoping to pick up a sandwich for a late lunch but they didn’t have any left. They also close quite early so I can never visit after work to pick something up and can usually only make it on the weekends. My last two points are a testament to how good they are! That I want them to have more inventory and longer hours

Bread, croissants, financiers, flan, quiche and other baked goods. Plus coffee. It smelled great, like a bakery should. I got the seeded baguette. Very nice crunchy crust with lots of seeds. The crumb is fluffy, white, slightly sour. Overall pretty good, although I prefer my baguettes non-sour. On a subsequent visit I got the epi baguette, which I liked better (still sourdough, but it's less noticeable, since the epi, by design, is mostly crust).

Very, very good. If you are passing through and unfamiliar with Millburn, you may have a little sticker shock if you arrive for lunch, but the basic baguettes are actually supermarket cheap.

Bread is delicious, croissants are to DIE for, loved the burrata sandwich. Will be back again and again. Just be aware there isn't much seating and it's super popular, so be prepared to make it a picnic.

We love this place - a good cup of coffee (we do cappuccino's) comes with a side of a bread sample (about 1" square).. the fresh asiago rolls and babka's are so freakin great...everything comes rolling out of the oven because they do constant volume - so it's unbelievably fresh.. highly recommend..kosher... and not cheap - but worth it.

This is my 3rd time there. I absolutely love their stuff. Its so tasty and light and the place is beautiful. Staff is friendly and they always have different things. However, I definitely will be back. Their Mini Challah bread is good, their matcha and the white chocolate loaf is yummy, their lox sandwich is really good, and their cheese brioche is bomb.

Delicious breads, exceptionally friendly staff who work their way down the line to ensure that customers are being helped (really love when places are efficient like this!) And their croissants are a sight to behold. They also have a super cool rotating oven for pastries and pan breads in the back and you can watch the baker's shaping and baking the breads. Love that they have oat milk available and would be even more thrilled if they had sandwich options for breakfast sans cheese!

Love the breads here. Save me trips to NY city for breads. It is good enough in our small town. However the crossiant based bread does not have the French butter smell and taste as the traditional French Patisserie in NY city but they charge the NY level of price!

One of my favorite places in downtown Millburn. I am a weekly visitor and they never disappoint (sometimes 3x/ week ha). This downtown needed a place like this and they met the demands. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I can only imagine this place getting busier!

Great fresh bread with good variety. Desserts are pretty scrumptious and coffee is good as well. The people are nice and you get to watch them make the dough and bread which is pretty cool. It's on the expensive side though so couldn't go there everyday.

Coming from France, the bar was already high. So tired of seeing dry, sugary stuff in other bakeries. The verdict is.. this is the real deal. Love the mix of French and Israeli with NYC style- crispy croissants (NEVER drizzle chocolate or sugar powder on that like some place do), serious baguettes, and then you have the bourekas and several other tasty delights. Great open kitchen too. This place is the best and i think if they had more tables, they would just fill up.

What's not to love? Bread, coffee, sandwiches, salads, etc. - and of course pastries - are amazing... gourmet quality, fresh and flavorful, not just sugar overload like most bakeries in the area. The line can be huge and they can run out of items consequently. A tad pricey but delicious and consistent. Such is life! Convenient location downtown.

Great place! Their croissants are really interesting (it kind of looks like a top on its side) - it tastes a bit more "bready" and a bit less buttery than your typical croissant but it's still quite good. There's a lot of tables (and power plugs) if you're coming here to work. Nice decor on the inside and it feels very airy.

This bakery, hands down has THE best breads you will find outside of NYC. The crust is crispy with a little bite and the interior is tender with the right amount of tenderness and moisture. Bravo! Commuter special from 6-9 am helps reduce the cost factor because it is a little pricey. However, it's worth the step, er no, leap up in quality. The coffee is amazing. I am addicted to the cheese brioche and the multi grain mini baguette. I hope they open more locations so that other people can more easily experience what good quality really means.
