REVIEWS OF Juniper Hill Restaurant and Bar IN New Jersey

Jennifer Mazur

We came here for our fancy anniversary dinner. Given the look and the type of place, we expected to love it. But it was a little overwrought on the menu. And the decor felt a little confused. It felt like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be upscale or casual. And if you list "mirepoix" as an ingredient for bolognese on your menu, I immediately feel like it's trying too hard. That said, everything was very tasty, if a little pricey for what it was.

Justin Federici

Enjoyed my experience at Juniper Hill. The facility used to be a bank (which is evident when you see the vault door in the dining area) which is an interesting idea. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food was really good. They have 2 menus for supper. One is a bar menu which has your standard fare and another menu which rotates regularly. Our table ordered from both. The pizza (see picture) was cooked a little too long. For the entree, my seared tuna was very good. There are also open for lunch, but only from Thursday to Sunday.

livndream

Excellent restaurant, nothing competes with it in the area.

Greg Francis

Nice place to eat. Menu changes frequently. We enjoy the drink and whiskey menu too.

John Monaghan

The food is fantastic. Definitively one of the better places to get a meal in the area instead of bar food . Cheese plate is fantastic and their choice of drinks is very nice. I would consider it more of an upscale dinning location.

Stephanie Magdits

Food is always good, and has a nice cocktail selection.

Erika Guyer

Amazing! The food and service were outstanding. Great atmosphere! Fun, creative, and delicious cocktails !

Beth Van Blarcom

Good food and very pretty restaurant

John King

Excellent. Melt in your mouth cod with a risotto that was delicious. Bar service is friendly and professional.

Cave Arnold

This was the first time we have eaten here and it will not be the last. The fish was excellent. Well prepared and seasoned. The wait staff were always attentive. Best feature is the ability to eat in the old bank vault which has been converted into a dining area. We did not get to eat there this time, but maybe next time.

Erin Collins

We have eaten at Juniper Hill 2x over the past 2 months. Each time, the food was excellent, the service so-so.

Eva Kuo

Awsome drinks; Awsome food & Excellent Services !!!

Bob Foglesong

Spendid meal. Lovely patio.

John Ferrone

Great place, wish it was closer to home. Excellent food, friendly staff.

barbara hughes

The banh mi burger was a pleasant surprise! Fennel, mango, chilli spicey sauce, and more flavors made for a real fun bar meal! This place is rustic yet classy, with lots of windows that bring in wonderful outide light. Menu is different and intriguing. Beers on tap and some diff wines by the glass. I'll be back to taste more menu items. I'll never really understand why a bartender isn't smiling and hustling behind the bar though.

Nuno Tavares

White peach appetizer was incredible, friendly staff and good atomsphere. Good food selections and make sure you check your out the bar menu to, even if you are there for dinner

Andrew Marinelli

Excellent meal, loved the bucatini and croda scallops. Highly recommend.

Anthony Yacullo

Wonderful food. Wonferful attentive staff. Great meal over all

Linda Cinelli

Good food different from typical hunterdon county restaurants, a must to experience

michelle miller

Loved everything about the restaurant. Appetizers were unique and delicious. The appys and entrees had great presentations and were delicious. The fish dishes were cooked perfectly. Our server and JOSH were enthusiastic about their food and a delight.

Kelly DiGioia

This restaurant is amazing! Everything we had was top notch. The variety and freshness in the menu is not found anywhere else around. The pork cheek is a must, as well as any steak on the menu.

Eric Maiz

NYC style in NJ. Foodie type place.

Robert Schuck

We really wanted to like this new restaurant because we don't have many in the area but we were disappointed in the limited menu. We had two small plates at the bar one was the grilled shrimp and it looked good but unfortunately it was tasteless. Not sure I'll be able to get my wife to go back. ☹

Michael Lunger

Fantastic everything!!

Philip Roche

Love this place Menu changes, everything ive ordered has been great, full bar , great decor....

Raymond Ferraro

Really great food. Had the fish tacos and a pork and rice bowl at the bar. I give the chef a 10! Very nice atmosphere and excellent service.

We read the excellent reviews for this restaurant and traveled over an hour to meet friends for dinner. Perhaps my level of anticipation was too high. I was immediately disappointed upon entering the restaurant to what appeared to be a community center set up for a pot luck dinner. The main dinning area was a large open room with tables packed in with little room to squeeze through. The décor was utilitarian to the extreme with no apparent attempt at making it warm and inviting. Perhaps the biggest problem was that we were seated towards the middle of the room and it was incredibly noisy. It was impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The restaurant was very busy and both the kitchen and wait staff were stretched. Our service was slow and because we were uncomfortable we were unable to appreciate the food. To top the evening off, when our coffee arrived at the end of dinner it was warm. It’s ashame that the poor atmosphere and slow service completely overwhelmed the food experience.

Umesh Bhatt

A nice restaurant in our neighborhood . Finally.

Karen Novak

Food was delicious. However, menu is more gourmet than expected. I didn't have a lot to choose from. If they included a brick oven pizza, that would be amazing. Patrons would love that. Ambiance is beautiful.

Jennifer Miller

Great and professional service. Love their small plates and the atmosphere is fun. They have draft wines and they are delicious. Very unique for the area. They also have a great kids menu that is well priced.

Barbara Kitchen

Very nice atmosphere but limited with vegetarian suggestions and limitations to changes with the menu. Wasn't able to provide a simple half garden salad because it wasn't on the menu. Service was excellent and staff friendly. A bit pricey but adequate portions. Most likely, not to return. Other restaurants are more able to bend/sway from their menu.

sam196370

Excellent food, service and ambiance.

Audrey Shatwell

Amazing amazing food. Prime is my new favorite steak house on Long Island. We ordered 6 steaks that came out perfectly and the desserts were equally delicious. Can't wait to go back! Every, suggestion was perfect. From drinks to enter, excellent food, incredible service. Highly recommended!

Kaiden Adams

This place simply knows how to treat their customers. Always with a kind attitude. The food is conveniently priced, regularly delightful and neat.

Sarah McDougall

Great food & cocktails with a unique & changing menu. The staff were all friendly & the service was good.

J Sullivan

The ingredients are sooo fresh! Wonderful atmosphere!

Brad Ross

We rented out the bar area for my wifes 40th birthday party. Everything was perfect. Josh and the kitchen team put together an awesome menu that had everyone raving. The Blackened Pork Cheek Confit and Seared Yellow Fin Tuna were amazing. Josh even went the extra step of preparing a handful of vegetarian options for my wife. Julie kept the night running smooth and helped coordinate all the details. Finally the bartenders made sure all the guests did not stay thirsty with a great selection of wines, beer and specialty drinks. The bar area fit over 40 people without feeling crowded. The night was a great success and Juniper Hill knocked it out of the park.

Scott Taylor

This was a nice meal in a converted bank building. Service and food were good, give it a try.

Robbie Villani

Good spot

Service was a little slow, but food was ok. Also vegan friendly which is nice.

Joe Valenti

Fantastic creative food!

Gary Enright

Best waitress ever. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Great IPA on tap. Overall with the food alone, I'd go back but with the same waitress, I'll be back very shortly.

Mark Black

Excellent tastes. Locally sourced food. Great ambience. Amazing that this place was once a bank.

Terri Christmann

Loved it! Went in between lunch and dinner so ate at the bar. Good selection of craft beer and the 3 things we tried were all great, ricotta appy, the fish tacos and the pork cheek bowl. Looking forward to trying dinner next.

Angela E

I was so happy to see a new restaurant in my area that is comfortable, yet sophisticated. The chef here is clearly talented and imaginative. Every dish I’ve had here has been wonderful. Also, the wait staff is attentive, professional and friendly. I also really like the decor. It is warm and cozy, but modern and minimalist. I will return.

James Marookian

Waitress was rude. Before we even sat to eat we had to wait because they weren't ready for us,even though we had a reservation. We were waiting on the side for our table, they told us it would be a couple of minutes, and the waitress who we ended up having told us to "just like move over there" and gave us a moving gesture with her hands. She obviously was annoyed that we were standing and waiting for our table. We tried to order appetizers but the waitress told us it was better if we just order all at one time because they were busy then left. She came over multiple times asking if we were ready and we kept telling her we needed a minute. When our food did come they served everyone at table then told me they lost my burger and it will be a few more minutes. Was waiting awhile to go here. Lots of peoole recommended this place and i was so very disappoineted. It was not a good experience and not sure if I will be back.

Gary Mathew

The menu is clunky but my food was absolutely amazing. Ricotta dip appetizer and the pork shoulder were outstanding.

Mike Marzo

Awesome quality

Charles Lunn

Cozy bistro housed in old bank. Food unique and well prepared. Great wine list.

Alyson Stevens

The ambiance is excellent yet the overall experience was a bit odd. Being a vegetarian did enjoy the options available to me but the food was bland. Our waitress was very nice but we had extremely odd encounters with the rest of the staff. If we were to go back we would probabaly only hit the bar.

Chris Ballantyne

Great place.

bernie crandall

It was my first time at Juniper Hill, but it will not be my last. I loved everything about it. The appetizers, and meals were delicious and the deserts were amazing. We were not rushed and had a very enjoyable time. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond to meet our table requests. Highly recommended.

Joe Mautone

Google just ask me.... "How is Juniper Hill?" Are you freaking kidding me! It's fantastic! Duh! This place is a must go to place! Everything's good!

Danielle Stanley

The ambiance, people and food was amazing. The chef brings food to a whole new level of greatness. I am so excited that there is a place in town to have cocktails and bar food that is young and modern!

Therese Kimsey

We had dinner there twice and both times the food and service was excellent. I had recently mentioned to my husband that there were not many good restaurants in the area. Happy to say, Juniper Hill, is a very good restaurant. The cuisine is creative and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. I was also impressed with the decor and history (location was previously a bank) of the restaurant and inquired where they purchased the dining room chairs (industrial, vintage bistro style). The manager, Julie, took by name and email and said the owner would get the information for me. The very next day I received the email with the information. So awesome and appreciated! That is the way you treat customers!!! We will be back!!

Ali McKeever

I wanted to like this place, but I was unimpressed. The service was great and our server was very attentive. They have a nice selection of craft beers and other drinks, so it would be a great place for grabbing drinks. The bread and hummus was delicious, but that's where the deliciousness ends. They have a very small, overcomplicated menu. I'm all for creative dishes, but only if they are done well. Everything our table ordered was underwhelming. From the John Dory to the Rabbit Ragu and the Squid Ink Pasta. The caramel chocolate tart was good, but again nothing to write home about.

Maximiliano Lopez Valverde

Always good food

Courtney Clark

Delicious! We have dined three times and everything keeps getting better. The food is absolutely amazing! Even our 5 year old loved the octopus! The pork cheek is out of this world and the scallops were fantastic. We shared the dry aged strip and were completely impressed/satisfied. Our kids devoured the chicken cutlet, rice and carrots. I have to say as a parent, I LOVE that french fries are not an option. I was so excited to see them eat every bite of a wholesome, healthy meal. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We finally got to dine on the patio...this place is fabulous!

Carlos Velazquez

Cocktails are absolutely phenomenal!

Michelle Zgombic

Healthy local food. Just wasn't thrilled with the options and how it came out. Beautiful place though. Will give it another shot sometime without kids.

Kathy Allen

I have always had great service at the bar. Food is excellent. Restaurant service is hit or miss. They need to fix the programs in the computers so that the food comes outcome at the same time for multiple people on the same order.

Val M.

Excellent food and many great vegan options, also. Service was good and atmosphere is very nice!

B Smith

The food was good and service was smooth, but the menu was quite limited. I appreciated the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation, but the price point was a bit too high for the end result. The dining area has terrible acoustics, and sitting across from my partner, we struggled to hear each other even though there weren't too many people in the restaurant. The seating was slightly uncomfortable.

Sue Ann Robinson

Just came from J. Hill. Had a beautiful meal. 7 people in the vault. Sam, our waitress was accomodating, and so lovely. Can't say enough about the food. Pork cheek, eggplant, and Squid Ink Spaghetti were favs. Love you Josh.

Patricia Mathews

Nice atmosphere, good happy hour. Would come back for drinks but would not get food again. Portions were small, fish tacos consisted of only two small tacos with very little fish and taste. Burger was small, and fries were heavily salted.

J Scott Willoughby

Very good food with a nice atmosphere. Josh, The owner/chef really knows his stuff. Excellent quality, expertly seved and prepared, apropriately priced. Good wine list. The Great deserts were a bonus! We hadBerkshire Pork cherk, a flat iron steak, squid ink pasta with Scallops chilis and XO sauce. Finished with camomile pannacotta, lemon blueberry meringue tart. All of it was lovely. Looking forward to trying more of yhe menu. Bravo! Enjoy.

Aesthetically pleasing. Decent food.

Lord Humungus

Where to begin… well, Juniper Hill is as pretentious as the typical clientele who live in Hunterdon County. Statements such as “warm and cozy, yet modern and minimalist” pretty much sum up the pseudo sophisticates who visit this establishment – the place is cold, stark, loud and under-lit. Honestly, I don’t know who is more full of themselves… the establishment or the customer base who just cannot be honest with their neighbors and say they don’t like the food. As for the food – if one ever wondered what a Tater-Tot, topped with Caviar and garnished with cilantro tastes like – well it tastes like a frozen food aisle Tater-Tot; however for the price you can enjoy an entire year of tater-tot. Anyone for Braised Flat Iron Steak w/preserved tomatoes, “local” polenta, Parmigiano-Reggiano and gremolata? Well take my word it, “stew” is a “stew” with a low quality cut of beef no matter how hoity a name you give it. Check deep for reviews and on various web food sites and you’ll find this review corroborated. I will say one thing – we did have fun poking fun at the establishment’s incredible level of self-importance. Juniper Hill is a perfect complement to Hunterdon County of 2018.

A little to out of the ordinary for me

Absolutely the freshest ingredients! Every bite bursting with flavor! Best restaurant we've visited in the area in a long time. Loved it. Will return with friends and family.

If we had to describe this restaurant in one word it would be wonderful! This was our first time visiting, our waiter Hunter was excellent. His recommendations were top-notch. And he was so attentive to us! The food was unbelievably fresh and made from scratch. We definitely look forward to going back. The salmon and halibut we're cooked just right with seasonings blended together by a skillful chef! The restaurants vibe was cool and trendy. I was very impressed with the cleanliness! Very clean and bright. Excellent!

Just happened on this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised on the find. Interesting, delightful items on the menu, prepared well, severed by very attentive servers and a nice scotch selection to boot.

Waseem Alhasan

Love it, it is a great restaurant. I live there burger, fresh and delicious.

Marie Furka

A little loud but beautifully designed. We just sat at the bar and ordered from the bar menu. Food was good but needs more variety. They're new so I'm sure they'll figure it out.

Osama Qazi

Umm, experimental food, looks beautiful. Returned entre twice and left eventually without a meal. Chicken sandwich. Service is great though. Hope they can improve. E make fries were good. Octopus was alright, not special.

Andrea Matthews

My husband and I had dinner with four of our friends. We had great service and fantastic food. Josh and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a special dinner.

Matthew Wipperman

Great food, wine, and atmosphere.

Jason Whitehead

What a great atmosphere!!!!

Frank Resta

Service food excellent

Alexis Toro

Restaurant is working out the kinks being new but has potential. Service / pacing is where they need to work. For example, one appetizer came out before the other by 5 minutes and then our dinner came out while still eating apps. Food tastes great and is flavorful. Price / value is too high for current level of service but hope they work into it.

Marta Tabickman

AWESOME FOOD! And NOW open for lunch. The octopus

John Robinson

This is a relatively new restaurant on Beaver Avenue in Annandale with an Upper West Side atmosphere. The chef is incredible and the menu is constantly changing. The building was a former bank and the vault seats six. The bar is also fun.

Hidden gem! Perfect ambiance to dine and amazing delicious farm to table food, love it!

Anne Saint Eloi

Disappointing. Came on a Friday night around 7pm and they were put of the sangria listed on the menu. The waiter had the bar quickly patch something up which was horrible. The food was sub-par. We left 30 mns later

Heather Strasser

Delicious food, great atmosphere . It's a fancy restaurant but had a really relaxed atmosphere . Great farm/rustic decor.

Juniper Hill is just a local gem! The food is awesome and menu changes frequently so it's never the same old stuff, well except for the house made ricotta appetizer, which I hope they NEVER take off the menu. It is our all time favorite and we have at least one order of it every time we go (which is about once a week). All I can say about it is "O M G", just delicious! Everyone there makes it their point to know who you are and to make sure you are happy with your food/drinks. There is a separate bar area and the cocktails are great as well! My favorite is the "Underdog". Highly recommend this restaurant!

Mark Brinkerhoff

Great chicken dish. Wine special on Wednesday's is fantastic!

Panth Shadowclaw

Excellent food. Seasonal and fresh dishes.

Joan Dechellis

Fabulous food! Can't wait to go again.

Andrew Meinbresse

Nice spot! Great cocktails and small plates, didn't have any entree's but will next time.

Tristin B

The best seat in the house is a table inside the vault. In a previous life this upscale eatery was apparently a bank. The food was excellent, but be prepared to spend at least 2 hrs. The entrees took at least an hour from order to table.

John Jones

Great food. Good service. Overall cool place. The food is unlike anything in this area and it is really good. Would defiantly recommend, not for kids though.

Eric

Great food

This review is a tricky one for me. I usually have no problem describing my meal or the overall experience but for Juniper Hill, I'm challenged. After reading many positive reviews, my wife and I tried Juniper Hill last weekend. We had a reservation and were seated promptly at that time. Waitress was very nice, went over the menu and wine options. For wines, they have a good selection of bottles and a high-end wine-draft system offering many decent wines by the glass. Our waitress even brought us a sample of a new Cabernet they had on tap. A short time later, she took our order and brought a very tasty plate of bread and hummus to the table along with our drinks. So far, very pleased. Appetizers came quickly but things went south from here. First the good news, the grilled octopus was excellent - fresh and perfectly cooked. But the bed of potatoes it came on was very salty. The Kohlrabi salad appetizer for my wife was so salty, she could not finish it (and she likes to salt her food). One a positive note, she did tell the waitress that the salad was very salty, and that message made it to the kitchen as the manager or owner (not sure which) came over and apologized for that. But if someone doesn't eat 2/3 of their food and tells you why, wouldn't you offer to remove it from the bill? Entrees came almost immediately after the appetizers - a bit too soon by most standards. The food was delivered by food runners, a good thing, as our waitress had become extremely busy with the now full restaurant. In fact, it appeared she may have been the only waitress in the whole dining room. Now we had our entrees but no drinks, so the food runner brought us back the wine list. But since our waitress was so busy, we couldn't even order a glass of wine to go with our meal. My salmon could have been a great dish but ... I don't recall ever having a grilled salmon fillet over a bed of anything that still had the skin on. And while I've had salmon skin before, this did nothing but detract from the otherwise perfectly cooked salmon. The baby bok-choy it was served on may have been very good, but I won't know as the broth it was swimming in reminded me of the old Herb-Ox Beef Bouillon cubes you'd dissolve in water. It was supposed to be a Soy Dashi but all I got was Herb-Ox reminders. My wife had the Local Vegetables in Coconut Curry. This dish was actually very nice. It could have had a bit more of the curry, but the vegetables were fresh and the curry flavor was very good. After the plates were cleared, we sat for several minutes before finally being asked if we wanted anything more. We opted not given we had just waited 15 minutes to be asked. We paid our bill and went on with our evening. So, why was this review a tricky one for me? Because I really think Juniper Hill has great potential. Our waitress was very nice and knew the menu and wine list well. The menu has some good offerings. But they’re just missing the mark. Juniper Hill appears to want to be bring a more up-scale quality food to the Clinton/Annandale area and my dilemma in writing this review is that I think they can do it if they just fix a couple things in the food prep/seasoning area and add more wait staff. I wanted this to be a great meal and was disappointed. But we’re going to try again in a couple months and see if maybe we just hit an off night.

Coleen Conroy

Fun atmosphere, good food

Ronit Jacobs

Delicious, fresh and creative dishes with excellent service and chicly appointed.

Rashid Burney

We have been to Juniper Hill several times now. The ambiance, the service and the food are all excellent. We go to the bar Area and almost inevitably- wind up talking to the person sitting next to us. This does not happen at your local TGIF. The place has to crest that environment. I would highly recommend.

Ned M

Phenomenal food and fantastic cocktails. Beautiful dining rooms, though perhaps the acoustics turn a healthy chatter amongst the diners into a minor roar. I had the Caprese Verde, which was the best Caprese salad I've ever had, and the swordfish steak which was incredible. Cannot say enough about how delicious the food was.

Inga Burinskaya

My husband and I had a date night and my friend told me about Juniper Hill and we weren’t disappointed. Our waitresses was very sweet and ambiance and decor was pleasant. You need a reservation as they get busy in the evening. We tried an octopus appetizer and it was very good! I tried seared tuna over rice noodles and it was delicious but the portion rather small. The wine and beer were great!

Kazem Edmond

These guys make very good cocktails, have a great rotating selection of beers, and their food menu is always changing and improving. Their service is very attentive and consistent. Also, the atmosphere is really nice and fun. This place is good for groups, dates, going solo, or just meeting up with friends. It's a gem, and is a great addition to an otherwise boring area.

Christopher Hackett

Great drinks, food was good but not outstanding given price. Definitely will be back if only for their Juniper cucumber drink!

Andrew Webb

One of the best chicken entrees I have every had! Tender and juicy half chicken and fingerling whipped potatoes! Yum!

Brendan Williams

Great food and amazing atmosphere.

Jimmy Dheron

Phenomenal

Sue Reed

Superb!! Top-shelf drink offerings, artistic and tasty appetizers and mains! Don't skip the desserts! Going to Juniper Hill is a treat for your senses! My new favorite place!!

marlene leuenberger

Good food with an unusual twist. Promise of a good bar that was sadly missing some key ingredients or spirits. Service was abysmally slow as our server Dave was enamoured with the young ladies at the table next to us.

Samantha Palumbo

We came in and sat at a booth and the bartender came over and said what you want to drink....Ok first of all Hi how are you is a nice gesture to do to people coming to eat at your establishment. We ordered from some other lady, told her our appetizers and what we wanted for dinner...so fast forward all of our food comes out at the same time. Food and service both pretty much sucked. The water was good tho. Couldn't seem to get a refill or be acknowledged after we got our food... Will never come back and will tell 1000000 people to never go here. Hire some nice staff, cook some better food (if we order a medium burger and it comes out extra well done, sir you suck at your job!) Never ever ever again! Beware of this place! #barrescuecouldntevenhelpthisplace

E G

Nothing to boast about. Menu had options but the only reason I couldnt decide was because nothing looking interesting or appealing enough. Finally chose the halibut but it turned out to be pretty bland. My cousin chose the swordfish and it was a little better. The hummus and focaccia was good and the ricotta cheese appetizer was very good. It was late so there was noone else in the room where we were but still plenty in the other rooms of the restaurant. No salt or pepper was in sight to use.

Paul Granger

I have been here over two dozen times and have finally given up on this place. The service just sucks. In three years they just have never figured it out . Love the place, love the food, but will never go back

Greg Jablonski

We have been to Juniper Hill a number of times, for drinks & apps and for a celebratory dinner, we were not disappointed. Great service and delicious unique food. We are definitely going back soon.

Mary Clucas

Chic nice place

Laura Reper

Perfect margarita - not sweet. Bartenders are skilled at making drinks and friendly. Bar pie was amazing... Crunchy, chewey, melt in your mouth crust with rich ricotta. Olive oil cake - yum!!

Very good food

Joe Lago

Dining room was dark & loud. The bar area is much better IMHO. Good beer selection. Food was very good. Octopus was excellent. Service was very good.

Cheryl Walton

Amazing everytime, food, service & cocktails.

Will Harris

Great service, good food. Excellent whiskey/scotch selection.

Katherine Baildon

Amazing dinner!! Scallops are the best I've had!

kathe coopersmith

The food, service, and atmosphere are all very good.

Julie Maurer

Awesome food! Awesome experience. Lovely service. A must go to!!!!

Thomas

This old bank turned restaurant has plenty of healthy options for the whole family. You can ask to eat in the bank vault (if it is available) which is great for parties of 6 to 12 people. Great selection of local beers on tap as well.

Lauren Riznik R

Very pricey

Todd Bennett

Beautiful ambiance, great food, bar was well stocked. Looking forward to going back!

John G

I called to ask the price to fill a growler with a popular local beer that they currently have on tap and was given to answer of "Is this some kind of joke?!!?", "The bar doesn't have a phone I can forward you to", and "I'm not sure what to tell you sooo" . After asking the hostess answering the phone to go over and ask the bar for the fill price I was given the answer. I understand this beer has an interesting name and the term growler may be a bit odd ,but this is the face of your establishment...

Jonathan Barrett

Great Atmos. Food ok.

Matthew Rush

Food and service was excellent!! Can't wait to go back!

Raven Snoe

Great food, really awesome decor and layout. Friendly, professional staff. Vegan and Vege friendly!

Ken Krysinski

Dinner, desserts and very good specialty drinks. A great local addition.

We stopped for dinner after a 6 hour drive. The restaurant is located in an old bank building. They did a wonderful job converting the building. They left the vault, including the bars on the door, and it is utilized as a private dining area. Very cute! We sat in the bar at a high top table. The seats were very comfortable even after sitting for 6 hours in the car! If you want to watch sports etc. the tv is positioned well. The wines by the glass were reasonably priced. We each had a glass of sparkling wine for $9. I ordered the steak and it was perfectly prepared. The flavor was delicious. Desserts were mixed. The Apple tart was disappointing with very soft apples and not a lot of flavor; the lemon tart was excellent; the lemon curd was tart and overall it was light.

Richard Morris

A really amazing restaurant that's been needed in this area. Josh has done a great job building the place. Yes, there have been some growing pains with delays on food, but during those times he has personally come out to apologize. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into every dish. The staff is very friendly and is quite knowledgeable about the menu. The food is so good, We've been known to go here twice in one week . Highly recommended.

Craig Kennedy

Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff, delicious food.

Cookie Man

Just had a wonderful dining experience here. Well crafted cocktails, beautiful thought out plates of food, great service.

Tanner Heffner

Food and drinks were great and very tasty! But the wait times for receiving them were exceptionally long. We also had to request food multiple times before receiving. Would return and hopefully receive better service.

scott wilmot

GREAT dinner. Incredibly close ti highway and exceeded our foody tastes. Scott from San Francisco.

Aaron Ziomek

Reading reviews here and on Yelp it seemed they had some bumps early on but now it operates just like any other nice restaurant. It’s nice to have a place that serves the dish’s they do in the environment they created so close to us with out having to drive east into NYC
