Coffee has little flavor and is way over priced. They have not figured out a way to control the flys, I had to go outside to get away from them. They are saved a lower score due to the atmosphere being great and the food is fine.

After being deprived of a good cup of coffee for three days I was excited to try this coffee house in town. It was delicious! I consider myself to be a coffee snob, and this placed satisfied my taste for coffee. I tried the Day Dreamz iced and hot latte (two separate days). It was a delicious concoction of white chocolate and caramel. My parents got plain old regular coffee and said the bold roast was quite good. (Regular coffee is self-serve) My parents also got some snack food which was okay and overpriced (the treats do look yummy in the window!!) The prices are like Starbucks so don't be sticker shocked coming in here. In the summer it's nice to sit outside at the tables and watch people walk the streets on a sunny afternoon. Definitely worth it to sit and stay and savor the coffee whether you want to watch people on the street or sit inside with friends and admire the art work.

Andrew Harteveldt

Great local brew house. Friendly environment in the heart of North Conway.

Danielle Lambert

This is a must stop every time we are in Conway. The hot Caramella coffee is delicious.

Bill smith

2 coffees and we brought our own traveler's mugs and served ourselves and the price was $6.50 ($10.00 Canadian) Ouch!!

Kevin Brown

Delicious fresh snacks, smoothies, and, of course, coffee! All served with a friendly smile in an eclectic atmosphere.

Marcus Ciardiello

Huge Connect Four set upstairs along with a bunch of other old school board games. Good coffee

Brian Tetrault

Really great location—vibe is good even for us locals during the week. Coffee and tea selection is extensive, food is ok. The location and outdoor seating make this spot shine—often the service is somewhat unreliable and borderline unfriendly. My wife and I are regulars and unlike most other places we frequent in the valley, we never have been greeted or treated like anyone has ever seen us before. Worth a visit even to just people watch.

Dale Kimball

Decent specialty drinks, good staff (a couple go above and beyond), decent atmosphere, but can get claustrophobic at times. Not my first choice, but still good.

eric gregg

Fun place, fresh coffee! Great place to meet!

Tyler Griffin

Excellent coffee and food selection. Clean, interesting space with a variety of seating options and art on display.

Ligia Lemes

The best lattes I have ever tried. The pride eagle is my favorite!!

Ellie Ferency

What a disappointment. The place looks so nice, and has such nice atmosphere, without the staff. Not sure if they were tired or something, but they weren't very friendly. It started with me asking for a receipt and never getting it. We got a coffee, hot cider, and a sandwich, and paid 18$. The coffee was good the cider was alright (didn't finish it) and the sandwich was terrible. I ate a few bites and threw it to the trash. It could have been a perfect place, especially with the way it's build, and they have games for kids and adults upstairs, and I was very excited about it. Of the food was good i would have probably come back even with the price. But we paid so much for something we threw away immediately. F

The met is a great place to get coffee, and a snack while visiting with people. They have art of many varieties. Greeting cards, photos, paintings, other framed art. It's all for sale! A great way to have a unique souvenir that you can then enjoy looking at or even give as a wonderful thoughtful gift.

Pam Arguelles

Great coffee shop in downtown North Conway. A variety of pastries, muffins & bagels. Local photographers pictures on display on main floor & 2nd floor.

The Gaming Elephant

The food was good but couldn’t make up for how absolutely horribly the staff treated us

Scott Gregory

Bam!!!

KW Peter Koeppel

A comfortable, relaxing spot with great coffee! Very friendly service. Can get busy, but if so, it's well worth the wait. Enjoyed the current art exhibit.

Andrew Arace

Great, tasty and quick lunch spot, with good "kid's pack" lunches. Be aware that lunch hours are strict, and if they aren't serving lunch yet, you will have waited in line for no reason and have to come back 15 minutes later and wait in line again.

Richmond White

Great coffee, nice enough customer service. No complaints

Francesca Gervasi

Such a cool variety of drinks and snacks. Very allergy friendly too

Marah Chabot

Good cold brew. Great sandwiches! We ordered 3 and had a bit of a wait for our food but it was worth it!

D Kenneth

Very chill place with great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Hot chocolate is the best!

I Am Squanto

Very quaint coffee house with a very laid back vibe. The only thing that I wish they did different was to serve their drinks for people that are staying there in a mug rather than having everything in paper cups. All in all a very pleasant experience, the food was good and the staff was very polite and seems happy to be working there.

I am responding to Maize St John who provided a negative review based upon found money. I am a lawyer, and $100 bill is NOT abandoned money; it is lost. Therefore, neither you nor your child has any right to these funds until it is determined that it is abandoned property. The Met followed proper protocol by holding the money in escrow. If you lost that much money, would you be concerned, Maize? You'd be hunting and searching for those funds. Now, you want to blame The Met for gross misunderstanding of the law and you are in a foreign country. Consequently, you must follow the applicable property law. And, you didn't comment on the service, the business, or the food and beverages. Instead, you have made negative remarks concerning the policies concerning lost money. You need to educate yourself before you start erroneously throwing stones! So, Maize, if i travel to Canada, what laws are applicable? That is a rhetorical question because the laws of Canada would apply and I would need to education myself on such regulations.

Cory Nitschelm

Great service. Great for a quick bite/coffee on the go.

Harry Robertson

Great space. Great coffee and great selection. Great snacks and food.

Stephen O' Farrell

Situated in an older building, possibly an old bank or something, this is a comfortable cafe to chill in with all the good coffee tea and nibbles flair you would expect from a decent cafe.

Richard Poole

Excellent little cafe. Lattes and sandwiches are delicious.

David Normandie

Good coffee, although a little on the pricey side

Alex Bejan

Bonnie Mcrause

Went in yesterday evening, the staff is fantastic! The wonderful young lady with the stickers on her cheeks gave me beautiful suggestions for a latte, I got the Day Dreams latte with almond milk and it was absolutely delicious! Wish I was local so I could come in everyday! Fantastic atmosphere and vegan donuts! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, Thank you Met staff❤️

Ryan Huggins

I loved this place so much! Stopped here when driving through, and I was not disappointed. Try their specialty lattes or apple cider.

Kimberly Huber

The sandwiches used to be great, now they are on store bought bagels, scarce with ingredients and barely warm. It's a shame, but I will only be getting coffee in the future. What happened guys?!

Thomas Lane

Nitro coffee and the Saco breakfast sandwich are perfection.

Oliver's Odyssey

The internet is average but the coffee selection is supurb! Plenty of cozy seating down and upstairs. They have kombucha and flavored apple ciders hot or cold. I got the caramel apple cider hot and it yummy!!

Chris Slesarchik

A go-to anytime visiting North Conway for everything from food to coffee to gifts. Everything is good, the atmosphere is comfortable (AC in the summer), and staff are friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

Samuele Quattrini

Five for the food. One star off because of the staff attitude. We came to bring you business folks, not to bother you...

Kyle Behrman

Chocolate muffin was the bomb

Adam Hoyt

Asked for a sausage egg and cheese, was given a bacon egg and cheese. When I asked them to fix it they just microwaved a sausage patty and slapped it on the cold bacon egg and cheese giving me a sausage bacon egg and cheese. Awesome service

Priscilla Barry-Gillilan

Dena McKinley

holly lednum

I recently went camping in Conway and I wish I lived there just so The Met could be my local coffee shop. I love the atmosphere and the coffee is DELICIOUS and don't even get me started on the fruit parfait cause I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life. 100000% recommend

Gyeyoon Yim

The blueberry tea latte was amazing! Also, so sorry again for breaking one of your mugs by mistake. The staff members (including woman with short hair) thankfully did not charge me anything, and when I tried to clean the broken peices up for myself, one of them (a boy with blonde hair) kindly let me just go, suggesting him cleaning up the floor. I was touched by their great food and service, so if I ihappen to take the train in Conway again in the future, will definitely visit the cafe again. Thank you so much again for your kindness!

Rachel Smith

Delicious coffee, inventive latte flavors, scrumptious desserts. Local artwork surrounds the seating. Great stop for a refuel while adventuring in the Whites!

Kyra B

Every time I pass North Conway, I have to go here! Their London Fog's are the best in all of New England!

Dante Damore

Great desserts and even better coffee, espresso and cappuccino's. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Much better than going to Dunkin' Donuts for mediocre coffee. A great way to wake up before skiing.

Sarah Arrowsmith

Nice decor and ambiance. Polite service. A bit awkward and little space to wait for your coffee.

Matthew Woolever

Great breakfast sandwiches, great coffee, great smoothies. A great choice for breakfast.

Margaret Jividen

Good coffee, better food. Lots of seating, a lot of options for drinks and food alike. Looking forward to more vegetarian lunch options in the future.

Lori Smukala

Well worth the price. Coffee was so good, and the breakfast sandwich made fresh to order. Wish we had a place like this back home.

Cam Desmarais

A must stop for the North Conway Art/ Coffee scene

Amazing chai latte, delicious apricot biscotti, nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Carrie Kellerman

My most favorite coffee shop in the state. But they need to do the lights a bit.

Micah Blake

Favorite place to get coffee in northern nh

Bill Cooper

Beautiful prices and selection. Coffee, espresso, tea, and every kind of baked good and dessert. Prices are cheap, especially for what you get. The location is beautiful, even for North Conway. So many different decked-out sitting locations, plus a beautiful fireplace, and a few Harry Potter references to boot. Love it!

Emily Gladue

Do cute

Great selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolate along with salads and sandwiches. Friendly relaxed environment for a place to just hang out and talk with friends. Not too noisy and free WiFi.

Chris Plath

Absolutely love this place. Good ambiance, coffee, and even outdoor seating.

Katherine Alicandro

The man taking the order was very cold, he lacked any ability to be friendly. The wraps were bland. Not impressed.

Laura Michaud

This is my favorite coffee shop anywhere. I love that it’s an art gallery. As an artist, it inspires me to one day own an art gallery coffeeshop as well. Such a clever way to bring to great things together. Anyway, they have fabulous coffees, amazing food, fantastic pastries, and a wide selection of teas. A great place to enjoy a meal or just grab a quick coffee. If I’m in North Conway, I have to stop in.

LongBark 1776

They had a great choice of drinks and selections of foods.

Vanessa Close

dan deaton

Wife and ii walked in around 1230 pm 8- 15- 19 had super service and the sandwiches we had was yummy and well made we will return again for sure and will recommend this place 100%

Christina Appleby

Great place to hang out and get some work done. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have crepes like it says on the Google description, but the salad I got was quite satisfying. They put a lot of walnuts and strawberries on it! They also made me a decaf Chai out of two different leaf teas, which no place has ever done before. Usually when a place doesn't have decaf I'm SOL.

Gareth Infinger

Food was very good. Pricey though. Coffee wasn't great.

Mo Cons

Loved it here, very cool and groovy cafe that serves sandwiches, paninis and breakfast. They offer a variety of breakfast goodies including vegan donuts! Was not able to try because they already ran out before end of day. Next time! Apple cider was very good, the Glen croissant sandwich was very tasty. Atmosphere is serene, and picturesque with the antique style of 1890's home. Beautiful artwork hangs on the walls that capture the magic of this place.

Cerise

The sandwiches are to die for! The nutty Bean is my favorite drink and the service is great.

Heather Stephens

Great place to chill and drink a latte

Ed Andrews

Great local coffee house, plus yummy snacks and lots of outdoor seating on corner by Schuller Park in North Conway village

Kevin Wormer

Fantastic drinks, friendly and quick service. This place has some wonderful seating areas upstairs, behind the counter, and out front on the sidewalk. Just be careful if you sit out front, there are a lot of bees that tend to swarm sweet drinks.

Matthew Carson

Amazing pastries. Friendly, fast service.

Juan Bribiesca Ruiz

A very good place for coffee in North Conway

Tony DaSilva

Great atmosphere to enjoy some coffee and more. Staff is great.

Hannah Drouin

I am from Southern New Hampshire and I have driven 2 hours just to visit this coffeehouse. The Met is one of my favorite places. It has a warm and homey atmosphere. The staff is always kind and helpful. The food and drinks are delectable. There is a small cafe area to sit at in the front, and if you go upstairs or in the back there are comfortable chairs and couches to sit on that make you feel like you are home in your own living room. It is a great place to meet up with wonderful people or to explore new flavor drinks you didn't know existed! I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

Robert Taylor

We zipped in and out had a tasty and thrifty brunch. Very cute placee

Frederick Wright

The perfect New England coffee house - eclectic, casual, with a fairly large menu of coffee and hot chocolate drinks. Plus sandwiches and pastries. Nice low-key atmosphere, good free wi-fi.

Danielle B

I LOVE the Met! I came to the area for the first time in 2009 and the Met became a tradition right away. The lattes are amazing, but my favorite drink is the mountain valley mist. Although I haven't had any desserts in recent years, i do recall them being delicious. I look forward to stopping here every time I'm in the area.

Beth L

It was small and interesting to enter. Self service for non artisan drinks. Just order hot coffee and add your own cream and sugar. It was regular small, local coffee shop prices. I bought a latte called a heart warmer. It was delicious! My daughter had a lemon iced tea. It was disappointing since the sugar was one of the pre-purchased pumps as well as the honey that was too watery to be real honey.

Jonathan Smith

I had a pretty good caramel latte here and we had a nice table out front on the side walk. it was a beautiful day to just relax for a bit. No one in our party sampled the baked goods but all of our drinks were excellent.

Jeremy Bittel

Good menu choices. Good food. Stressful staff and environment.

John Borsellino

Beautiful decor, great coffee and friendly staff!

cindy prouty

Donna Crabtree

Great breakfast sandwich, unique atmosphere

Kate Putnam

A great place to grab a snack and coffee. Outdoor seating is fun and you can be a part of downtown. The food is fresh and the service is wonderful!

Chuck Weinberg

Drive a half an hour off course to taste some "amazing" gelato and "we don't serve gelato this time of year." Pretty disappointing. At least that could be noted on the website.

Meghann Hailson

This is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or just a snack. Drinks and food are on point

N C

Very nice and unique place to stop and enjoy. Great cup of coffee.

David MacIndoe

The coffee here was pretty good. I've been to better but it was still pretty solid coffee. This will sound pretentious, but it would've been nice if they served coffee in mugs, but instead everything was paper, even if you have your coffee there. Personally, when I go to a nicer coffee shop I like having a mug to complete the experience, but this was a minor complaint. The atmosphere was very nice. Lots of seating and places to lounge around in comfy chairs. It won't look that way when you first walk in, but they have a balcony and a few rooms behind the counter. Overall I recommend this place. It's also conveniently close to the other attractions downtown.

Maize Thats me

The coffee was very good but I am a little upset with management of this shoppe. My 5 year old daughter found a $100 bill on the ground and proceeded to show the cashier. As the cashier was about to give the money back to my daughter since "finders keepers" truly makes sense in this matter, in my opinion; the manager proceeded to come over and investigate what was going on. He then kept the money and give my little girl a useles sticker! I totally understand the importance of showing positive morals to your kids but there is no way anyone is coming back for a lost $100 bill. When nobody comes back, what will happen with that money then?

Ömer Önder

Place is nice, not the staff, coffee and cakes.

Shelly McGee

Great family friendly, relaxing atmosphere!

Alicia Carl

Best coffee shop in North Conway.

Brendan Ackerman

Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. Great little spot!

James McElroy

Good food at reasonable price.

Linda Murdoch

We had a great lunch at The Met Staff was attentive... loved the ambiance!

Alex Pina

The pastries were good and the coffee was ok. My biggest issue was the fact the coffee was served out of large thermoses and the confined space.

mike paquette

Typical coffeehouse with great selection and quality.

Tobey Y

We liked the coffee choices and used the free wifi

Cara Simoneau

Delicious food, great atmosphere, just a great place all around. Depending on time of day it can either be packed or quiet. Staff are great as well, very pleasant to speak to. Also had a chance to speak with one of the owners, who takes meticulous care of the place, cares for his workers, and is a warm, lovely person, very down to earth. Definitely try The Saco and enjoy!! :)

Isabel Ramirez-Burnett

amazing variety of coffees

Randy Harper

Good place relax and enjoy coffee and watch the day go by.

Kyle Coulter

Local business comparable to Starbucks without the chain feel. Prices are fair, and unlike Starbucks, you can get decent breakfast sandwiches.

Lori

Love the Vanilla Bean Dream! Staff is super friendly.

beatrice baciu

Worst coffee ever. They have 'espresso' pre brewed and use it for lattes. I asked for a 2% milk latte and got a skim one within the next 5 seconds. I would appreciate being told they cannot accommodate 2%(granted, it takes mixing skim with whole, which takes a second); instead they just decided to take my money and give me skim. Their '100% fruit, no sugar added' smoothies are made with chemical-tasting, super sugary syrup and ice. It's probably the only time I threw my drinks away after a single sip. What a disgrace!

Will McGrane

Great place!!! Superb espresso & excellent pastries. Staff are super cordial & welcoming. Love this shop.

Felix Roberge

The coffee is great and so are the sandwhiches. Unfortunately they were out of nitro cold brew but there cold brew was still good! Always swing by when I'm in north Conway

Jonathan Moyer

Waiter was the grumpiest. Coffee was somehow weak and bitter; dumped it. Bagel sandwich was ok. Won’t return.

James Cellucci

Great place, wished I lived closer to enjoy every day. The best staff. Looking forward to going again, it's not a true trip to NH. without a visit to the Met.

David Genest

Fantastic coffee and iced latte selection! The Saco was a good sandwich too - a touch too much seasoning for my taste but it was awesome!!! Be sure to stop by!!!

Barbara Blakeney

A great spot with excellent food, great coffee and tea and a local artist gallery,

Scott Martin

on our way to the echo lake state park for the day, we stopped in for sandwiches to take with us. my wife got the roast beef and i got the Thanksgiving sub. both were really perfect for that day, very fresh rolls. Just what you would expect for north conway.

Roy Gronholm

Really good coffee and hot chocolate. Really relaxing to sit and enjoy our drinks. Prices are moderate but worth every penny. Many many choices also.

Sarah Geromini

An awesome selection of unique coffee and tea creations, as well as baked goods. The coffee house also doubles as an art gallery displaying different artists. Additionally, the free fruit infused water was a nice plus.

Brittany Turkaj

The best place to get coffee in North Conway, hands down! They even offer a French press option, and serve you with your own press to plunge!

Samantha K

Love coming here whenever I'm in the area. Dig the Storm Trooper in the high window :)

Elizabeth Brennen

Go to the back to get amazing gelato! My favorite thing to get while I'm in Conway! So many flavors to choose from.

Cynthia Cates

Great choices!

E Hernandez

After drinks the night before at Horsefeathers (nearby)... best coffee ever! Besides that, the place is so well put together you can't not look around and admire the cute/comfy coffee shop.

Jonathan Grazer

Free WiFi, nice place to work, good music and good coffee.

Beth Hansen

Besides the fact that there coffee and food was delicious, the staff here was outstanding and went out of their way to help us locate a missing camera. We can't say enough great things about our experience!

Brett Miller

Had a cold brew, a bit pricey, but it was pretty decent. I like their coffee better than what I've had at Frontside Grind

Andaroo Riordan

Great location, ambiance and quality food/coffee/service

Cheri Sullivan

Great place to hang out alone or with kids, games upstairs, open mic, lots of fun.
