Not bad. Too hot to sit for long. Wifi is good. Service is good. Vietnamese coffee is okay. Breakfast sandwich is fine. (I'm using vague terms on purpose - nothing here inspires anything more than an "meh" response.)

The melba pastry we ordered was delicious with outstanding texture. Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits were surprisingly satisfying. A big surprise for a place we went into as a backup when the breakfast place down the street had a long wait. The only negative for me was the painting in the doorway. I found it so creepy in photos that I initially opted not to go here, and more importantly that aesthetic didn't at all match the happy, wholesome demeanor of the staff who served us. Overall though, so good I'd go out of my way to go here again.

Kaffee Vonsolln catered a brunch after my wedding and they were fabulous from start to finish. They were communicative, professional, and the food was delicious. They made the process so easy and Emma was a pleasure to work with..... I highly recommend them!!

Cappuchino was very good, but the bienenstich (German for bee sting) was spectacular. Its a light airy cake/pastry with a creamy filling topped with slivered almonds. It's not too sweet, and is very very time-consuming to make. Fantastic job. Got a piece to go for a friend who has never had it, and he loved it too.

The staff was friendly and willing to help. The homemade pastry was not to sweet, fluffy and delicious. The coffee which was carefully and lovingly made was perfect no burnt or bitter taste at all. A perfect little place to stop in after a long day of shopping or to get your day going.

I was eager to try the coffee here because a friend told me they grind their own coffee beans and the shop is owned by someone from Germany. The dark roast coffee was wonderful. The person behind the counter was friendly and they had comfortable seating. There are pictures on the wall of different landscapes from Germany. Even though I didn't have anything to eat, the desserts looked delicious!

This a beautiful hidden gem in Portsmouth. The space is beautiful and spacious with lots of seats, outlets, and tables, making it a great work space. The staff is friendly, the coffee is tasty, and they even have food here!

Totally amazed to find a German ‚Eiskaffee‘ so far away from home. I could just about stop the girl from adding cream/milk as this would have NOT be German at all: just vanilla ice cream, cold coffee and a swirl of whipped cream. Delicious!

The best local coffee shop by far. I always stop in to visit with the delightful owners and for a cup of dark roast with a slice of their irresistible Bienenstich cake. They also roast their coffee in-house and I stock my cupboard with their Kick blend for the daily morning French press. Portsmouth is pretty touristy, but this place is a spot of local color.

I'm used to the many coffee shops in Boston and Cambridge, which are perhaps pretentious but serve great coffee. This little store is at least as good as the Boston area cafes and restaurants, but with vastly better service, fresher coffee, and a more intimate atmosphere. If you're a coffee lover or if you just like a friendly and welcoming place to relax this place is for you.

While my husband and I were visiting New Homes we came across this little german cafe. I am so glad we did! I got a breakfast sandwich that was out of this world! It was ham, egg, and cheese. The cheese was a german cheddar and that is what made it amazing! The service was fast and very friendly. And the prices were great too! Plus they have outdoor seating which I love! Will definitely seek this place out again next time we are in New Hampshire.

The best staff in the entire seacoast. Not only does Kaffee Vonsolln have great coffee and delicious treats, but they also have the best employees in the entire state. When you go to Vonsolln you are always greeted pleasantly by one of the staff members. They go out of their way to make sure you have a better day. Even if Vonsolln is out if your way it is worth the trip. Support a local business that is owned and operated by some of th kindest people on the seacoast.

I consider this place the Official Coffee Shop of Portsmouth. Apart from the always-spectacular coffee drinks and amazing desserts, the coffee crew are just a really nice bunch of people. This cafe never fails to disappoint and the desserts remind me of what you can find in European coffee shops. The seating area is ideal for meeting friends or working on a laptop. Unfortunately there's no free parking but otherwise it would be perfect.

This place is pretty good. The girls up front are very friendly and always smiling. I have traveled throughout Europe and have had coffee in Heidelberg Germany. The thing with European coffee is it doesn't "Overwhelm" you. What I mean by that is its fresh, not burnt beans like Starbucks. This is real coffee. It isn't going to be to strong nor overwhelmingly sweet, it is going to be a perfect cup of coffee. Some days they are super busy, other days they are not busy, but the fact I have been back tells you that I have enjoyed this wonderful cup of coffee.
