This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Cafe.
Very comfortable. Great place to grab a coffee and just sit.
Very good place to study and hang out
One of the best Cappuccinos I have ever had. They offer free games and the place is so cozy and comfort.
Great coffee, good atmosphere
Also great vibes, food & drinks!
That interview was awesome, the owner is very nice and the environment is one I would definitely want to work in !
Nice place, good coffee and bagels
Cool hypster modern coffee shop ❤
The maple latte is so good. I also love Ian and Shane, they are great guys!
Good coffee. Hipster atmosphere.
Great people, wonderful atmosphere in shop, love the huge variety (for a coffee shop) of beverages and food offerings. I've been enjoying the Flight coffee, but this was my first visit to the Dover shop. It will be my destination next time I am in Dover.
Good coffee and nice employees!
Excellent little coffee shop in Dover. I went on a friend's recommendation and loved it. They have a great variety of drink options that all looked good, and some pastries and bagels to go along with them. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the music was great. There's a little record/book store in the back too which was great.
This is my first 1-star review ever. I've tried this place about a half dozen times because it's super close but I regret going almost every time. This morning will be the last. Credit card machine was down so I had to pay cash (didn't trust how they were writing down customers CC info 'to charge later'), my egg sandwich came out cold and on a plate even though I ordered to go, and then to top it off - I found a super long dark hair attached to the bottom of the bagel. In all seriousness, go check out 2 Home Cooks (a block away) or Earths Harvest (short 1.5m drive) for a much better experience.
Great local coffee shop! A large local bookstore is moving in with them now too!
Not bad decent coffee beans. Nice place if you can get parking.
Tried the pork roll, all the sandwiches are great
Stopped in while visiting town. Plenty of space and room for live music, which they had at the time. Outside seating is also available. Good cup of coffee.
Great location. Gorgeous space. Great coffee.
Always great coffee and a nice place to relax or work.
Good drinks, but on the pricey side. Great if you want that coffee house experience. Open and bright rooms and not too noisy.
Good brews and food but a little pricey
Great mix of coffee and old books and records.
Awesome coffee and staff! Check out their live music too!
It's a little sterile (like they took a homey coffee shop, removed its charm and made it huge), but the coffee and pastries are very good.
I asked for a toasted bagel at 2:50 but said that they cant because the kitchen was closed, even though the kitchen closes at 3. Just wanted my bagle man.
Awesome coffee with a rustic environment. We will likely visit again to see some of the live acts posted throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Even the other visitors were super friendly!
Always good coffee and food ....
Great coffee, friendly staff, live local music!
Awsome staff! Excellent coffee and other selections! Nice cozy feel. Open mic nights and other events.
The coffee is really good but if it gets busy then the service slows way down and you may have to wait 5 minutes to order
You'll wait 20 minutes to get your coffee, if you ask any questions, staff will get short with you. It looks legit because the owners borrowed the interior from nero in boston, unfortunately the service is not the same. They hold odd hours, and they like to close early without prior notice. I go out of my way to avoid this place even though it is the closest coffee shop to me.
Love Flight! Their pumpkin spice latte uses real pumpkin and is amazingly delicious. Great food. Great atmosphere. Gluten free, dairy free options available.
Peaceful environment. Delightful menu and coffee choices. Comfy couches.
Good quality coffee, fun environment and a good place to hang out and play games or get work done.
Great vibe and amazing food and coffee selections!
Very good coffee shop
Location is perfect. Coffee is great. Ambience is brilliant. Food is mediocre...the avocado toast was soggy, watery, minimalist on the avocado and even worse on the chia seeds (they gave me just a single seed). You can do better flight people.
Nice comfortable quiet place to have meetings or a good cup of coffee and tasty food. I have had many small business meetings here. Wouldn't go anywhere else
Excellent service hands down!
Great coffee, and fantastic food. The place looks beautiful, has a relaxing environment, and plenty of seating.
Love the atmosphere here and the staff is friendly. However, I think their descriptions can be misleading. For instance, they're running a great NJ style special - pork roll egg and cheese sandwich on a Jersey style roll - the "roll" was the most simple form of a hamburger bun. That's fine, but that's how it should be advertised.
I had a screamin demon here one month ago and I'm still awake. The cold brew is great, and the first sandwich on the menu is delicious. Lots of artwork on the walls that you can buy. This would be my place to go if I lived here.
Awesome coffee... Nice place to read and sip on coffee. Highly recommended
Nice atmosphere, really good counter help, oh yeah EXCELLENT bagels!
Staff is helpful and super friendly!! Love their coffee!
Just relocated to the New England area from Kalispell, Montana and LOVE Flight
Great food. Great coffee. I always get the wellness latte, which is tumeric and other deliciousness. The breakfast sandwiches are always good. The donuts and sweet breads are delicious. The service is kind. Plus there is live music most Friday (maybe every other Friday) evenings from local bands. All around a great addition to the downtown.
These people know good coffee and were happy to help me make a selection. Such a beautiful place to slow down and enjoy a cup!
Really love the environment, and they probably have the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted!
I had a mind-blowingly great bagle called an Athena while drinking coffee and checking out records. It literally doesn't get any better.
The very best bagels! Worth the price.
What to say? Great ambiance, great coffees, teas, beer, and kombucha for any taste. Changing seasonal menu with vegetarian options and great local hangout for community meetings, personal meetings, or lunch. Comfy seating and hand made furniture.
Awesome. This place brings coffee to a new level and makes it an experience. The food is also great!
Great coffee, and bagels. Service is always friendly and quick.
Appears to be a newer building , spacious and nice. There appears to have only one (mixed) bathroom on the right side. The specialty coffees only come in 1 size like a latte with 2 shots and must pay for extra shots and it comes in a small cup. If it's done to look hip, then it failed as the price for such coffee is darn expensive! The sandwiches are also on the pricey side. An in-store made bagel with cream cheese is $3.50 which Is Expensive. It has free wifi and a place where people also have meetings so it's a decent place to hang out but expect to pay for it in higher menu prices.
Second time in 2 days...great food, coffee and mellow mudic with and edge...perfect.
Always good bagel sandwiches and comfortable place to sit
Fair warning: the bagel recipe they use (to this date) resembles a cross between a bagel and an English muffin in texture and flavor. But, I love both of these things, so it's not an issue for me. A nice, cozy take on the retro/vintage/industrial vibe places have been going for this decade. Clean furnishings, board games for groups, and very accommodating service.
Love the place, just the best toasted cheese anywhere
Stopped for lunch while passing through town. Tasty sandwiches and an excellent pour ober coffee. Good service with knowledgeable barista. Glad we visited.
If you care about coffee and where it comes from, Flight Coffee Co. delivers the best service and product you could ask for. The extra couple minutes for a guaranteed delicious coffee, tea, or meal from some truly talented baristas is worth the wait. Everyone working there turns a service into an art, and it's amazing to watch. Could not recommend more.
Love this place! Lovely place to sit & do work or meet friends, plus awesome lattes, sandwiches & baked goods.
Def a chill with your Macbook and coffee sort of place, but if you don't mind that vibe the food was pretty refreshing.
It's a little pricey however the coffee and food is great. The staff is friendly.
Great coffee and vibe. Loved the ceiling and the wood tables with metal accents. The autumn harvest tea latte was amazing. Creamy deliciousness with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Boyfriend got a nitro cold brew. Instant caffeine zing. Definitely check it out!
A great coffee shop in a small town of Dover! I am glad that Dover has a cafe like Flight Coffee. The cafe itself has a great atmosphere, makes it easy for me to do all of my work. The staffs are friendly. The coffee is definitely the best coffee I've ever had. Pastries are great! Once in a while I would stop by on my way to work to get pastries from Flight. Nothing from this place has disappointed me!
Great bagels!
One of my favourite hangouts in Dover. One half has long tables that are great for getting work done and the other half is a nice place to meet friends.
great coffee, great vibe, the only problem is finding an open table
I was very nearly late for my flight. Gate layout was terrible, and the international terminal was not clearly marked. Tasty coffee though.
Beautiful cup of espresso
This is a great place to meet afriend for a cup of coffee or tea or to bring work and hang out for a bit. Very pleasant atmosphere. The lattes are delicious and artistic! Highly recommend!
Love the great bites and pour overs, anytime I'm going up the highway to ski, I always make it a point to take a detour and grab a cup of coffee from this place.
Lots of seating and good selection of food and drink!
Good place love the live amature music bands playing and stuff its gin night
I ordered a tea and waited 35 minutes, only to find out they hadn't started making it yet. 20 other customers were served in the meantime. The manager gave me a shrug but no apology. Also, Flight's internet was broken and I was told it happens several times a day. I left without ever getting my tea and went to Starbucks instead, which was both cheaper and faster. 0/5 stars, I will never go back.
The Jackson sandwich on multi-grain is absolutely amazing, especially if paired with an iced mocha espresso latte!!!
Stopped in for lunch after a museum - nice vibe inside, didn't feel crowded even with plenty of people there. Lunch was simple but delicious - they know that they do well and do it. Will absolutely make this a regular stop anytime I'm around Dover
First time going in here and I have to say my wife and I were blown away. The wife had a ice chai and I had a iced mocha. Both were amazing. We also had breakfast sandwiches. That we couldn't put down. We will definitely be back and will recommend Flight to everyone.
A beautiful experience and a very cozy atmosphere. Service was impeccable and they make a mean cappuccino. They do live music and the seating is comfortable. Prices are reasonable
Loving the third wave vibe. Great for anyone who wants to take time to enjoy their morning coffee. Excellent!
Pretty and delicious
Their espresso and coffee drinks are the best in the area. I thought the bookstore moving in was a good idea (i love books) but since it moved in the space has been crowded and the wonderful smell of coffee muttled by a funky smell. (Not the good old book smell but the dirty book smell)
Loved the live band!
Very nice coffee shop well recommended
How can you not love a great atmosphere with comfortable seating and your very own french press? (Even the cup was heated! +1)
100% Best place in Dover.
The service needs a lot of work.
Can't believe I haven't reviewed yet! I frequently recommend Flight to anyone I know and purchase gift cards to give for special occasions. Flight had something for everyone, served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast and lunch, coffee or tea, as well as Kombucha and fresh baked goods (the BEST bagels). It quickly became the most important part of my morning routine and being greeted by name and offered my "usual", I certainly don't foresee that changing anytime soon!
Coffee was fantastic. Some of the best cold brew I’ve ever had. Service, however, was incredibly unfriendly and smug.
I used to dislike this place, but now I'm more obsessed than my husband. I love coming here. The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. Lots of hipsters. Bit pricey, but they make their own tea blends. Tea and tea lattes are delicious. Ask for a purple haze!
Great time watching local youth musicians perform!
I come through dover a couple times a year. The idea that someone could come here and say the coffee is bad is absurd. Most of the complaints have to do with technical issues or unprofessional baristas, but seriously? Welcome to any coffee shop anywhere. Flight is a welcome addition to the area, def give it a try if you are swinging through dover.
Great atmosphere. Under new management so we're coming back to give it another try. Some thoughts: 1) the coffee and espresso is sour - stomach acid sour - move away from the Flight roast and bring in a better bean - or offer both, 2) serve more than 12oz cups (24oz+) and let people select a few flavors and pour their own, 3) do sandwiches - few kinds of sliced bread, few meats / cheeses / spreads, tomato, lettuce, pickle - no one in town does normal sandwiches, it's all subs - there's one other cafe in town and they don't serve food -step up and you'll be golden, 4) People want to meet after work in places other than restaurants and bars, stay open past 4pm 5) don't act like a big city cafe - listen to Dover, do Dover. Looking forward to getting a cafe back in downtown Dover!
Great coffee, good atmosphere, great service.
The atmosphere here is very laid-back and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I love stopping in to grab a cup of coffee or a spicy tumeric tea and sit with my laptop and get some work done. They also have really good baked goods!
inconvenient hours, not great coffee, staff is usually nice though
Lots of space. Good coffee.
Coffee and food are both awesome and workers are pleasant
Dank coffee and even danker sandwiches. If you're a dank person, then you know flight is the dank choice for you.
Thanks Flight for the great customer service experience! Why don’t other businesses understand that giving a little usually gets a lot more back.
Great coffee and goodies and Especially GREAT with new addition of Baldface Books and music!!! Two great things that go great together..Great Stuff if I hadnt said that enough. :)
The tomato basil soup is very fresh. Nice, chill environment.
Great place bagels were delicious, nice atmosphere.
Great coffee and great atmosphere.
Awesome coffee and tea drinks in a relaxed atmosphere
Flight coffee in Dover is wheelchair accessible. There is a slight ramp up to the front door which makes opening the door a little awkward. Plenty of low top tables to choose from. Coffee is good and prices are reasonable.
My favorite coffee in Dover and the best bagels in the whole area. Just wish it was a little more affordable.
Alright first things first, they have some really good product here. The pour-over coffee options are great and incredibly tasty (the best in the area). It’s incredibly refreshing to find a coffee shop that isn’t muddled with burn tasting dark roasts. The bagels are awesome and live up to the hype (the sandwiches can be greasy be warned). Can’t speak to the espresso, but it was fine the few times I’ve tried it. (EDIT: gonna give this a quick edit before you read the below. This place has grown and changed in a many ways from when the new management took over, all for the better. While the space itself has changed a lot as well, I'm gonna just say that as a consumer, it's nice to see a company grow and adapt.) The culture of this place is garbage though. I spent my entire morning hearing one of the managers and following staff blab about a sales goal they set for themselves that they had almost reached. For me, that’s a huge turn off. If I’m to be a patron of an establishment, I’d rather not have the operators openly speak about my experience as their direct capital. That’s just upsetting an unprofessional. There’s also this “best of the world we’re saving the seacoast coffee scene” attitude here that is really upsetting me. I enjoy an ultra fancy tasty cup of coffee just as much as the next person, but you don’t need to treat this store as if we’re in New York by getting yourself off with your product. There’s no need to tell people here that you’re the elite and you should buy into it. People will either recognize it or ignore it here rather than congratulate themselves on it’s opulence. Change your attitude, or move to an actual city. There’s no room for that here. For most people who feel the way I do, they already recognize this and feel the same way pretty quickly, but I still feel like it should be vocalized. These days, I try my coffee, buy my bags, and make my own at home.
Great service! Super friendly staff
Love this place. Great coffee. Excellent sandwiches. Nice location with plenty of comfortable seating.
Last time I was there, I spilled my coffee, as I was mopping up, they offered me another to replace. Great service.
This is a local favorite right in downtown Dover. Very welcoming and relaxing with two big rooms.
Lots of natural light and nice variety of seating/table options to fit any mood from high chair by the window to lounge to group table. Coffee and tea with focus on quality, sustainability, and deft preparation. Friendly staff. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere.
Beautiful coffee shop with plenty of seating. Smells like a roasting house with some options for healthy breakfasts. Board games on the table, multiple plants around the room, and a number of single sourced coffees.
Open mic night for a second date it was great the date and open mic
Gorgeous shop. Love the theme and chalk art. Music is on point, too (Cage the Elephant
The barista is very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain all the different processes and what would go beat with each coffee.
Friendly, cozy, a place to meet for business or pleasure. The avocado toast is my go to. I just love this place.
Great coffee, excellent breakfast options. Bagels made fresh daily. The Avacado Toast is my go to. Staff is always very friendly as well.
Nice atmosphere, excellent food , tea, & coffee, friendly staff. We will visit again.
So far so good. Friendly staff. Someone using an old typewriter..... Decent americano.
Nice place. Nice people.
Cool new spot great coffee and breakfast.
Best coffee in town and fantastic service. This is the kind of place that you only find in the cool neighborhoods in the big cities. Highly recommended!
Good coffee in a fresh setting. They pretty much have any pour over you can ask for and I know that sometimes they have pour over workshops. The food is good too!
A coffee house not just for the trendy but for the coffee aficionado! Very cool pour over bar, also tea and draft kombucha?
Great atmosphere, friendly baristas, good coffee, great bagels.
I met one of my girlfriends there to exchange Christmas gifts and the hot chocolate was AHMAZING! It was loud in there so we moved to a window seat, which was perfect. We could visit and people watch.
Just stopped in on my way to work. Fantastic peppermint tea and the absolute best Avacado toast I have ever had!!!! Super good with tomato and chia seeds!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this cafe! If you want Excellent coffee in a fun, hip atmosphere this is it.
Flight has a wide variety of quality coffee choices: lattes drip and pour over. The interior is also beautiful.
Cold... had to down my ice tea like alcohol because it tasted expired... way more expensive than adelles
This place has a relaxed atmosphere, some seriously appealing sandwichy breakfast items, and a casually extensive arsenal of coffee making techniques. Stop by or make a morning of it, I recommend it
The donuts they sell are good (come from another bakery), but the chai latte was underwhelming, and the espresso undrinkable (bitter and sour). It's a nice space, but the barista serving us was a bit curt. Overall, not worth the high price of the beverages, there are better options in Dover.
Favorite coffee shop in Dover. I must not be alone because I can hardly find a seat sometimes! I haven’t been to a show, but it’s next on my list. This place is perfect for coffee, breakfast and good conversation,
I only get my coffee from here now. I love that Dover finally has amazing coffee ❤
Staff was friendly to us early on a Sunday morning. Fantastic bagels. Great coffee. Relaxing, wide open space.
Excellent place, staff and food!!
Great coffee and great environment! Love to go here and work peacefully. Quiet and cozy.
✅Restrooms ✅Free Wi-Fi ✅Plenty of Outlets Great selection foods, I wish they had a tofu cream cheese though (vegetarian option). The coffee is delicious. So far I tried Kenya and Colombian Pour Overs($3.50), which had a very strong and rich aroma and taste (I love plain coffee, but it might be too strong for majority of people). Their lattes are rich, but smooth. Turkey Avocado Melt ($6.25) was a pleasant discovery made with real turkey and egg. Good selections of bagels ($2.50 & $3.50 with a spread)
This place is awesome - really great coffee - great vibe, love the aesthetic! Tons of seating and they seem to be pretty full all the time!
They have amazing hot chocolate, that's all I know
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
Knowledgeable staff, quality coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and very cool space!
Im a coffee guy. But i had a simple coffee there and it tasted awful. But everyone was friendly and they had a fair amount of sitting in there.
Nice place to sit and have a quiet cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Not being a coffee aficianado, all I can say is that the coffee tastes like coffee. It's a popular place and it can be quite busy. They have a couch, a couple arm chairs, a window bar, and and tables for 2 or more.
