The coffee is excellent. They usually have three self serve offerings, a lighter roast, a medium to darker roast, and a decaf option. All of the coffee has where it was from, the flavor notes, and the bean processing method on the label. They also offer your typical coffee and tea based beverages along with some feature beverages that change regularly. There is a food menu with a full service sitting area and a fridge with some food to go. The staff is incredibly friendly and highly knowledgeable. In addition to all of this they also sell various coffee brewing devices and the staff knows them well. If you live in the area I highly recommend the A&E refillable cup. It does a great job keeping the coffee hot and you get a discounted price when you refill it. Update 6/2018: Lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. I am not putting down the staff at all, but things seem to take way too long here. It used to be a quick in and out visit for a self serve coffee or even a crafted beverage. It is rare for me to be in and out if this place in under 5 mins for a self serve black coffee and under 10 minutes for a crafted drink. The person running the register is usually making food for customers as well as trying to ring people out. There's usually a line of people that are ordering complicated drinks or having the employee fill self serve beans for them. I still go regularly because I have the $1 refill cup, but if I'm short on time I go elsewhere.

Best darn coffee and way better than Dunkin' Donuts, but, it is as strong as Starbucks without the burnt coffee taste and it is very high quality coffee since it comes from different countries and did I mention? It's also, organic coffee which I can't say the same for Dunkin' Donuts. If you want good high-quality strong coffee go here otherwise you can go to Dunkin' Donuts and get good coffee, but, still, not as good as this place is and DD's can never compare to this place because, this place when you go you will want to go more and more to the point that for a while you will hooked onto the coffee here and you will want to cut Dunkin' Donuts entirely out of your life, but, fair warning make sure you have enough money, but, it is still cheaper than Dunkin'Donuts because, their small is a pretty good size possibly larger than DD's, but, it may not be bigger and it doesn't need to be that is how strong the coffee is

Awesome place for coffee and tea nerds (and just about anyone else). Offers an unbeatable, homelike atmosphere for study, conversation, or just chilling. The drinks are excellent (I say this after having lived in Roman cafes for four months while studying abroad) and the food is hard to beat. Lots of good coffee shops in the area, but I honestly think this one is unrivaled.

Typically I make extra time to stop and get a great espresso latte. But, the past two visits have been underpar. My drink has been wrong & I don't have time to turn around. Paying $6.25 for a cup I won't be drinking.

I've been coming here for well over a decade now and I love, love, LOVE this place. They have Organic and Fair Trade coffee (roasted in house) along with loose and whole leaf teas, as well as a great menu for breakfast or lunch. The owners are wonderful human beings that not only care about a sustainable environment, but also their customers. And they have the best baristas around. You can't go wrong in coming here.

Not a bad place to get coffee. it's a hit and miss place, they do have taste cups just for your convenience. Everything I read about coffee states that you should not buy coffee if it's more than two weeks old after the roasting date and I made that mistake because I saw they had a basket of it and took a bag home and it had a really bitter taste . I looked a the date it reads 20 days old..my bad?

I would recommend getting thier monthly drink specials. They seem to let thier employees experiment a bit with those and the results are often better than a latte or capachino! There is also a newish outdoor seating area that's been totally revamped. Finally, if you are into light roasts for your beans, they are one of the few places with a decent selection. Though, all of the beans the are great and they are more than happy to explain how they should be brewed to get the best taste!

They get points for having a broad selection of coffee and tea, to include real cold brew coffee. However I am a coffee snob, so in my opinion there is much better coffee in the world. Just reviewing for the coffee you can buy whole bean. Some of the most flavorful coffee I've had the pleasure of brewing. All the roasts I've had taste perfect in a pour-over, from the fruity lighter roasts to the darker bolder ones. The price is right, and it's good knowing that I'm supporting a local business. Definitely my go-to for beans.
