I am writing this letter to tell you about my experience at Public Works Coffee Bar. First of all my name is Lino Zackary M. Tenorio and I'm from an Island called Saipan (Few islands from Guam). I was in the Army but got Medical Discharge due to injuries I sustained twice from Iraq getting blown up. I also still work for Washington Traffic Patrol. I am usually using a wheelchair from injuries I've sustained since I moved here to Henderson. I lived like 30-45 min away from Public Works Coffee Bar and I would either take my bicycle, wheelchair or take the bus just to come by and get a coffee regardless if there's a lot more coffee shop closer but I loved going to this wonderful Coffee Bar for so many reasons. First thing I notice was how I was greeted when I first walked in and an employee came to me quickly to assist me. I've also sticked around to see how the employees treated customers and was surprised how awesome there customer service is and there Super friendly and very welcoming. All the Staff are awesome, laid back and they treat you with respect or in other words they treat you how they want to be treated and have no problem helping customer such as myself to figure out what's good to drink. All staff employees approach me professionally that I come across are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. As a proud Public Works Coffee Bar customer I want everyone to know about the employees here who who do their best for customers and that strive to provide outstanding quality, service and value every customer visiting the store. It shows that they're proud to have customers like me in your store. Obviously, all the staff exemplified the standard and I'm happy to be a returning customer. Especially coming across Leeza & Sam who always puts a smile on my face every time I come by. The best part is they have the BEST coffee I've ever tried and will continue to return back regardless if it takes almost 45min on my wheelchair but it's worth it. You'll probably have an okay experience in this contemporarily-styled cafe with semi-friendly service. Unfortunately, there's a chance they won't have some of the items they say they do on their menu. We stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday, but experienced only disappointment when we were told they basically had none of the wraps, croissants, or substantial breakfast items they list on their menu. I sort of felt like I was being scolded for wanting the food items they list on the menu on their web site. They had an outside vendor making waffles, but $10 for a couple of waffles did not feel like a good value to me.

Coffee roast is delicious, smooth, and not too acidic or bitter. They have daily iced tea brews and a creative drink selection. The house made organic turmeric ginger chai is beyond words delicious. Especially for chai connoisseurs like myself! The last time I had chai this delicious was in Portland. A++

Stopped in for my morning caffeine. Just did the school drop off nearby. I always appreciate quick service and a lack of a line. I must admit to being very coffee chain loyal. I did enjoy my mocha without the harsh bitter taste. My beverage was at the correct temperature that I ordered. Yes I'm a big baby and cant stand piping hot coffee. These guys are great! We had a cortado, buffalo chicken wrap, cinnamon roll, orange cranberry muffin, and turmeric dirty chai. All were spot on. If we had more time then we would have made us of their ample comfortable space. It helped the guys were very patient and helpful considering I ordered lunch at about 7 AM... Can't wait to return and try more!

We were so amazed when we stumbled into this exceptional place! The coffee, latte, and chai latte are delicious. The food was definitely exceptional. My kids are fussy eaters ....and they loved all of it. We enjoyed the breakfast pocket, the bacon egg cheese and jalapeno biscuit and the kids begged for more croissant muffins with common sugar! We really enjoyed the games that were available as well! We are wondering if they cater? We understand that the quiche is their signature dish! We will definitely be back to enjoy!!

Love this place. Modern interior design. Supports local businesses. Advertise in the table of business cards. Brew coffee must be a premium brand at $3.50 no refills. Everyone does refills. Hence the lower rating. RTC needs a direct bus route from Green Valley Pkwy and surrounding areas to get here. Otherwise, Boulder Highway Express drives on Water Street. Warm Springs bus to Boulder. I live on Pecos. $30 uber round trip. But like I said this coffee shop is incredible.

This place has good coffee for an average price. As well as, all the specialty drinks you'd expect at a coffee house. The biggest problem with this place is that they close at 2 p.m. on the weekends which is very inconvenient when I'm looking for places to study. There aren't any other decent coffee houses in the area that are open once they close. If their weekend ours weren't bad enough, I came in on a Friday at 11 a.m. walked in through the door and an employee ask me to leave because they said they were closed for their company party or something. They do have holiday hours posted on their door but they stated they will be closed on the 14th from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. I came in an hour after they were supposed to be open and the door was completely unlocked.

Just wonderful. They get their coffee from Mothership Coffee Roasters over near Green Valley Parkway and sunset which is also phenomenal. People love to Rave about their morning Starbucks but those people don't really like coffee. They like additives. I know that sound snobbish but when you have a real cup of coffee like they make at Public Works, you can really appreciate the flavor of the coffee and how serious they are about it. No offense to the Starbucks drinkers out there, but there is a better alternative for you. Plus, you get to help small businesses!

Cool, hip coffee shop with pop-up waffles (maybe a one off). Very good coffee and helpful staff. We tried a quiche there - it was delicious. I also had an americano two ways - iced and hot and both were very enjoyable. The inside of this coffee shop is very trendy, yet still seems like a comfortable place to hang out. Liked it so much, we went back quite a few times during our stay.

Public Works is a fabulous local coffee shop in Downtown Henderson. It's often frequented by City employees and folks who live in the neighborhood. With a liquor license, PW is able to offer up local craft beer and also wine. My go-to drink is the Honey Matcha Latte. They have great pastries available, too!
