So I don't give out many 5 star reviews simply because no establishment is perfect. This is no ecpetion but man are they close! Try the scones! Doesn't matter which kind. Try the Avo Toast! Great food, great coffee. Good service with friendly demeanor. Comparing coffee prices, I would say they are probably the most expensive large regular cup of coffee in town. Worth it. Stop in and enjoy.

The staff are all really nice people. The environment is modern and comforting. If I was a college student I would definitely go there for a coffee in the write an essay or whatever these kids do nowadays.from what I can tell and what I've had the food is really good and made to order. Will definitely be back time and time again. If you're in Columbus it's worth the stop.

I'm not a coffee drinker but every drink I have had from the Broken Mug has been delicious. We come here for their lunch specials more than drinks. It's my sons favorite place, he lives the California panini

The Green Goddess salad was delicious! Super fresh greens, chicken, bacon, guacamole, blue cheese, fresh red peppers, purple onion, and homemade green goddess dressing...yum! The white mocha sugar free iced coffee was one of the best I've ever had! Amazingly friendly and fast service. Very neat and cozy space. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Columbus!

Great coffee (I had the namesake mocha) tons of space with a variety of settings. Free, reliable wifi. Friendly staff. Really nice bathrooms. You'll probably enjoy your time here. Update: just had a fantastic Ham & Smoked Gouda Omelette

Very nice atmosphere. Stopped there to pick up coffee to take to work. Menu overall offered the usual coffee and flavored hot drinks. Did not purchase food so cannot comment on that but the items on the menu looked good for lunch. The next two times I stopped to up pick morning coffee the line was 4 to 5 people deep each time and could not afford a 10minute wait, so had to go back to my regular morning coffee source or arrive at the Broken Mug a lot earlier.

M coffee was expired and disgusting. I’m disappointed because I have heard nothing but good things about Broken Mug and my expectations were high but I was let down. There should not be chunks in my coffee.

I stopped in a couple weeks ago for a quick coffee break between meetings in Columbus. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly, and there was a nice and quiet space to catch up on emails. A little hard to find, but definitely a gem! The coffee was great, and the sweets on display looked delicious; I really liked the comfy seating and free wifi!

Got lunch from here today, ordered the lunch Trio includes a choice of daily soup, salad and a piece of homemade bread. Beef & Vegetable soup was a little on the greasy side, mind me I had never had this type of soup and I understand beef is greasy. Had an OK flavor. Salad was greens with some tomatoes and red bell peppers cut on top as well, with Italian dressing of my choice. Good. Croutons were amazing, they seem homemade. Bread that was included was also very good especially with the soup. I'm not sure what type of bread it is but it reminded me somewhat of French bread. Ordered a smoothie and asked for a recommendation, I got the "Greens and added strawberry flavor" tasted quite minty, wasn't for me. Overall I did enjoy my lunch and will be back again to try something different next time.

It can be a bit difficult finding the entrance to the parking lot. It's by the Prestige Dry Cleaning. The coffees and the pastry type things are average price for this type of coffee house. The cooked food is a little on the pricey side, so you may want to make that a once in a while treat if you're on a budget. The portions are quite generous, however, so it's a fair to average value once you do decide to go.
