REVIEWS OF Mountain Mama’s Coffee House & Bakery IN Montana

Mountain Mama's was an absolute gem! We were waiting in line for maybe 5-10 minutes since it was crowded. The person in front of us had some issue with her order so we were delayed longer and they went above and beyond to make up for our delay. The food was incredible and coffee (Starbucks) was awesome! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area or driving through!

Kate Freeman

The workers were incredibly kind and polite, the pastries are very large and very good, and there's also a diverse non-sweets menu. Would love to come back! Plus, I can't appreciate Starbucks enough.

Jon Hirschi

Loved this place. The people here are incredibly nice. Fantastic pastries. I got a huckleberry pastry and it was incredible. It was filled with real Huckleberry. Tasted a lot like when I was a kid and my grandmother made fresh Huckleberry pie after we picked berries off the side of a mountain all day. Very good. The kids got giant cinnamon rolls and loved them. Definitely want to come back here next time we return. Unfortunately didn't get to try the savory pies,... Next time.

Ace Lockheart

A wonderful environment and amazing flavors to entice the whole family!

Heather Peters

Perfect place to drink a coffee and have fast internet service. I always come here when I need that extra energy and to get some work done.

Joan Meyer

Yummy baked goods

If you want an amazing breakfast, Mountain Mama’s is the place in West Yellowstone. They serve Starbucks coffee and made my short Americano exactly as I ordered (not too much water, as often happens.) I had the vegetable pot pie. It was delicious. Many vegetables and wild rice in a butternut squash gravy. I also had the Huckleberry scone—flakey and slightly sweet from the berries—perfect. I will be coming here each morning before photographing Yellowstone.

Joyce Griffith

Went by not in!

John Parton

Great people, great coffee, great food.

Ana Pape

Nice bakery with a great selection of delicious pastries as well as a few savory options. Coffee and cocoa is good too!

Amanda Gentle

This bakery is the best!! They made my son's birthday cake and it was phenomenal!! They went above and beyond to make a great hunting themed cake and he loved it!! It tasted amazing too!!!

tyler ray

Very unfriendly staff and $4 for a cup of coffee. I will not be going back here. Blaring music and terrible seating. Go somewhere else if you want a laid back coffee shop

Rob Betlach

We ar giving this place 5 stars because even tho it was $30.00 for two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches, they tasted too notch! We will be getting our food on the way out of town for sure!

Donna Stumpp

Delicious food, friendly, welcoming, and she bakes all day so we stopped in at 3:30pm and got some fresh pastries! Would highly recommend it!

YaWen Hsu

It’s a cute and friendly bakery with Starbucks coffee. The huckleberry scone is good. It’s a great place to stop by to get a lunch sandwich before we head into Yellowstone!

Garrett Jones

Huckleberry everything

Chris Sheppard

Pastries are awesome. Would be a nicer place if they made their own coffee and got away from the Starbucks stuff.

Kelli Campbell

Huckleberry Scone was fantastic

Nikki McGraw

Super cute store and great location. Staff was not friendly at all. We browsed the pastries for a few minutes and they never acknowledged us. Bagel was rock hard and took 10 minutes to get despite being the only people there. The huckleberry cream cheese was delicious. I was really disappointed after seeing all the other great reviews and I could tell a lot of love went into the store and menu. Hopefully if we give Mountain Mama’s another shot there will be a different crew working.

Gwen Robson

Very expensive but yummy elk burritos. But plastic clamshell to-go containers? Those have to go. Come on Mountain Mama's, let's upgrade to something a little more sustainable. #plasticfree #packaging

Amrita Moghe

Very slow service. Unorganized.

Jason van der Valk

Very good selection of homemade baked goods. They serve Starbucks coffee. Staff friendly. When we went it was very busy. Must be a hit with the locals.

Austin Cheney

The huckleberry lemonade is so damn good

Megan Cali

Exceptional wifi for the area

Tim 0thy

Good fresh sandwiches! Had a hard time understanding the waitress and I had to tip her for a take out order? Forgot the pickles I ordered . Very pricey

Alan Kirchoff

This place is great for a take and bake meal. We stayed at Worldmark and we have full kitchens. We got the frozen chicken pot pie and and a frozen apple pie. WOW! Amazingly awesome. The crust on both just melts in your mouth. They both take a while to bake.... But very good. Chicken pot pie: great seasoning, great crust, fresh cut vegetables, the chicken tastes fresh-not frozen. Be sure to ago for extra gravy, which is rich and awesome. Apple pie: again awesome crust, apples good and sweet, cinnamon and sugar..... Best apple pie I've had (and I've had quite a few) We had 6 people in our party and we had left overs. Can't go wrong. We actually went back and bought both a second time during our stay. When (not if) we come back we will definitely go here again.

Solomon DeFrancis

Over priced and the food was over cooked.

Jenna Lohan

Cute and friendly local spot with delicious food and serving Starbucks coffee. Thanks for having us :)

Cheeseball

Their Huckleberry smoothies, their free wifi, and their pastries are quite simply put, amazing.

Annia Amador

Pastries were decent. I ordered a whole huckleberry pie because I had been looking for it for days on my trip, big mistake. Not all pies are made equal this pie was bitter and the crust was tasteless.

Sudarshan Rammurthy

Great breakfast... Try the croissants n bagels.. they serve Starbucks coffee too...

kelly geiger

Very friendly staff. Food is far and away the best in town. Slow making our coffees but the food more than made up for it. Went here ever morning after finding it on the second day of vacation.

Tyler Zaichkin

Great coffee and food. The breakfast burrito was awesome, and made to order!

Kathy Chapman

The muffins we bought were dry...apple pie was ok.

Todd DeVries

Not enough staff for how busy they were. There were three people in our party and one of us waited more than an hour for her food. When she was finally served, the order was wrong and delivered cold. Perhaps the worst $30. ever spent at a restaurant. Worst of all was the 20% tip paid in advance!

Brian DiVasta

Lots of fresh baked goods, turnovers, scones, muffins, etc. Reasonably priced and definitely freshly made.

Kathy Boyd

Does not prepare or store or date or rotate food correctly. Kitchen filthy with mostly outdated shelf items removed by me. I worked there and would not recommend, owner could not understand why I wouldn’t eat there. I would have loved to stay there but due to owner eratic behavior I had to move on.

Levi Hudson

Friendly and polite peoples. Great taste, loved the place.

Margaret small

Very nice atmosphere, the coffee was good, although they are a Starbucks coffee shop. I got a BlackBerry rosemary turnover and it was extremely good. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to try a pot pie, but they made the whole place smell amazing.

Erika Jenkins

Service was a little slow, but delicious deli sandwiches and friendly staff! I will be back!

Erin Lorencz

Excellent, hearty food. The veg pastie and huckleberry turnover were delicious! Would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Andrea Emilien

Food was good, the people are awesome but the coffee.....eh.

Aysenur Aygun

Just been here and staff is very friendly.

Donny O

Very good selection of coffee and pastries with free Wi-Fi. Only bad is that prices are 20% higher than an actual Starbucks store.

Paula Snow

So friendly and incredible baked goods. Excellent stop for breakfast and wifi

Jacob Blackburn

These gals do a great Job. The Lemon and Blueberry Cookie was so awesome. RJ, Jessie and Perla were awesome.

Esther Persons

The mocha and iced Carmel macchiato that my husband and I ordered were good. The burrito that he got was great. But the scone we got was hard as a rock and the only thing that gave it flavor was the icing on top. Great place for coffee and burritos... I’d pass on the baked goods.

Anastasia Day

Very cute little place just outside of the West Yellowstone gates. We ordered 2 burritos and 2 coffees plus some merchandise. Total was over $100 which was a bit much but expected. The burritos were good, somewhat difficult to eat on the road (we got them to go for inside the park). Something happened with the system and the coffee order didn't pass through to the bar. After about a 20 minute wait I spoke to the gentleman to find out what was going on. He seemed to have very little experience with making coffee and I had to help with a few things (to not put steamed milk into an iced drink, he asked if I wanted our drinks stirred, um yes.. etc). I ordered a 20 ounce single shot vanilla mocha. Instead received a 16 ounce double shot mocha with about half the chocolate (he ran out and instead squeaked by with what remained). My husband had an iced mocha that was not stirred and overflowing with ice to the point we couldn't stir the chocolate to blend. The wonderful gal behind the register saw our struggles and gave me a bag full of cookies which my husband and our kids appreciated. I will definitely visit again with hopes of better coffee

Sarah R. Johnson

Wonderful breakfast stop before heading into the Yellowstone! Their burritos are massive (definitely shareable) and the breakfast sandwiches on croissants are top notch. Don't leave without trying some delicious pastries like the apple or huckleberry turnovers!

Reese Elkins

The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and they serve Starbucks coffee. We ordered our sandwiches and coffee to go since we were on our way to the Yellowstone N.P pretty early. They have other pastry that looked really good as well. We didn’t get a chance to try but will probably come back for later. On top of the wonderful breakfast, the staff are friendly.

Stefan Kramer

Best and craziest Starbucks I've ever been

Simon Roth

Super good. Starbucks coffee, croisants and very nice people! Everything you need for a good start in the day.

River Massey

Cool crossover between Starbucks n a local coffeehouse. Great food/coffee

Rita Roams

If you like pot pies, don't order one here! We came here because I looked at their menu online and they listed some yummy looking varieties. When we walked in, first off, the entire place smells awful. It reminded me of the smell of a childcare with the aroma of dirty diapers. The general place just felt dirty. We've been here over 30 mins and they still haven't bothered to clean the dirty tables around us. And I still overlooked all of that because dang it, I love a good homemade pot pie. I asked the cashier of they make their own and she said yes. So we ordered an elk and a bision. But what we got was two mini cast iron pots of stew. With a really gross pastry like piece of bread sitting on top. There was no hint of a "pie." No crust at all. (See pics) When o asked if we got the right thing the teenager who brought out the plates said yes this is the pot pies. Now I will say the STEWS were very tasty and flavorful. And if I wanted STEW, I would have been pretty happy. But because they mislead me with pot pie, I was disappointed. And still, they haven't cleaned any of the dirty tables. Maybe some of the other stuff is good but I will not be back.

Raj P

This is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. Waited for over 25 minutes for a "quick breakfast to go" which was overpriced and was only so-so quality. Would have been better off grabbing a bag of jerky from the gas station and heading into the park. Service was slow but friendly.

Andy Crain

Best choice to start the day in West Yellowstone!

Julian Chatwin

Fantastic food, friendly and great customer service! Recommends breakfast burritos :)

Schuyler Judd

Good bakery with a Starbucks to start the morning. Busy, but friendly staff!

Toni Saxofoni

Good coffee and excellent breakfast. Pastries and bagels fresh. Nice and friendly staff.

.Marie Mitchell

Love their huckleberry pastries

K Camp-Louise

Great food, strong coffee & reliable wifi. The staff is so warm & friendly when I was there, made me wish they were my local baristas. Try the huckleberry turnovers, you won't be disappointed.

Michael Tarr

They were completely out of the only real vegetarian option on the menu, but didn't know until ten minutes after we'd ordered it. They tried to make it up to us, but that didn't leave a lot for lunch. The bathroom is outside around back, accessible through the alleyway, next to the kitchen equipment. It's not a Starbucks. It's a cafe that serves Starbucks and makes sure you know it as there's a sign on almost every service to remind you.

Aidita Paulussen

Wonderful

Sandra Carson

service was slow, but the staff was very friendly and the coffee was good

Ray Chen

The service was okay. I ordered a vanilla bean frap and they gave me a cookie frap. My friend ordered the same thing and they also gave them a cookie frap.

Daniel Romine

Terrible service. Decent coffee (Starbucks).

Conessa Kirkendall

Took 30 minutes to get 3 bagels and a smoothie to go. Then the smoothie had tin foil in it!!

Paul Morris

A bit overpriced, as to be expected in a small tourist town like this. Some pointers. If you're gonna carry several choices of breakfast burritos on your menu, you should absolutely carry salsa as well. When I was able to lure the female employee from the back room and asked for a side of salsa for my burrito, she looked at me funny and told me "There's Cholula on the tables." I recommended that she tells the owner that they should have salsa available for the burritos. I got a snide look to this. The Small Town Boy burrito was hot and tasty, though, despite no salsa. Oddly, it was served with a handful of raw spinach leaves on the plate. Not sure what to do with those.. It wasn't a salad, as it packed dressing. It was just a handful or raw spinach leaves. Half-way through my meal, the same female employee came up and interrupted me with a paper cup and spoon, saying that it was a sample of berry pie. She further went on to say that the cafe was trying to win a compitition, and I should go online and vote for them. Ya, no. Highlights: wifi, warmth, tasty burrito. Low points: Staff. Guest experience. No salsa. For each, one star was removed. I have included an image of the very empty front-of-house and cash counter. The majority of the time, the two employees were nowhere to be seen.

Guiseppe Rossi

First off, the cafe bar service is excellent. I stayed through the noon rush and wow, what a rush it was. It's easy to see why others who are impatient will give a negative rating of service. But, having grown up around cafe italia, I can tell you this young barista was the best hostess I have encountered during my stay of the states. Her caffe techniques are correct, it's very easy to see her talent and pride in her lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, etc. she knows her coffee as well as just about everything else I asked this young lady about. She helped me more than graciously on my next destination California, and gave me quite a few great things to see around the Yellowstone area during my stay. It was quite refreshing to interact with her in a relaxed setting talking of life which brings me to my next point.. My first espresso was quick and easy as there was quite the flush of other patrons to the cafe so I was unable to interact with any of the staff. After a couple hours of computer airtime and observation however I ordered another and then was able to talk and relax, then I returned back to my computer to plan the next details of my trip. A few minutes later I hear the most annoying conversation between what appeared to be management and this barista. The manager was berating this barista for things a barista should not be involved with. (Which I noticed previous she was involved with anyhow) it was strange to me to see the barista preparing food, running the cash register, bussing tables, etc. It seemed to me there was no organization here. There seemed to be quite a few in the back, but only one to two out front most of the time, during the rush even. And yet, this woman is berated over the lack of attention paid to all areas. One person cannot be in two places at once. One person cannot divide quality among work. 4 stars due to the interpersonality among staff/managment. I couldn't stand to hear this become of my excellent experience at this cafe so I walked out to see some of the sights around town. Will absolutely be back for coffee.

Jared Duckworth Jr.

Love Mountain Mama's. Delicious, fresh, fabulous. A must stop on your way to or from Yellowstone.

Zach Swensen

Ham and cheese is amazing!

Rebecca Lowe-Smith

Hard to determine how many stars to give this place. 5 would be appropriate for the awesome friendliness of Kim the owner and the theory behind her movement for fresh tasty food. This is her first go at creating and refining recipes and they are unique and have a great deal of potential. Flavors are robust and maybe even overpowering at times with the gravy. Quite salty. The individual pot pies are very unique and are more like a soup with a puff pastry on top. The ones we had were frozen then warmed for us, which sometimes can change the texture of the vegetables. I would love to try a totally fresh one some time. Blend of fresh herbs and spices are nice. Pastries were delicious, those that we tried. Loved the lemon blueberry cookie. Overall I'd give the food a 4. As for the shop, a fun western decor is in the making with saddle and tractor bar stools and decorative tables. As a recommendation to Kim,...the rest of the shop could use some clean up. Seemed fairly untidy in front of and behind the counter. Eliminate all the cleaning supplies and bags of paper products and clutter from the customers view. And maybe add some bar doors to the kitchen area so seeing all the kitchen stuff isn't so visible. Id give this aspect a 3. Hope to return.

Alaínes Oliveira

Stopped by looking for coffee while spending on night in West Yellowstone and completely fell in love with the pastries! The hackberry scone is to die for!!!!

Josep Miquel Jornet Montaña

Some of the best pastries I've ever eaten in this country. Try their turnivers (both sweet and savory)!

Jon Whiteman

Great start to a busy day (particularly on a brisk morning). Excellent pastries, coffee drinks and service with a smile.

Zach Hawkins

Great place for pastries and coffee

Daniel Meeth

A must visit place.

Jay Miller

Friendly staff and good food. Definitely worth visiting. I'm not a Starbucks fan, but if you are, that's the coffee they serve. I go back for the Huckleberry scones and breakfast sandwiches.

Tamera Gottwalt

Loved the breakfast sandwiches and scones...

YouTube Siblings

Best breakfast I have ever. Every one was nice and they serve Starbucks coffee. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was magnificent. They also have gluten free choices and desserts. Would definitely recommend to a friend and anyone else

K.T. Chayse

Great meat pies. Free wifi. Coffee is good as well. They have all kinds of fresh made foods. Very good.

Asma Hanan

They serve Starbucks as well. I grabbed a chocolate lavender and a cup of latte before heading to Yellowstone.

Bryon Hadaway

Best coffee in town in town. Great service

Greg Tuchel

Good food. Great people.

Christine Goodale

Awesome fresh baked pastries and homemade pies! It was a very nice surprise for a highly touristic area.

Jiaming Nie

Excellent service. I ordered a crossiant sandwich and waited for extra minutes, they provided me with a free BlackBerry turnover. Definitely recommended.

Sherma P.

You're a weary traveler, long hours of driving or nasty sleep experience in one of many Western Entrance motels. You desperately need good coffee!! Thank Heavens for Mountain Mama. The most welcome sight and smells to an early morning expedition-minded wanderer. Fresh baked croissants, aromatic Starbucks coffee and lovely Montana Mama owner. What more is needed to get going. Ranks with the best experiences of Yellowstone for me.

Bridgette Storey

Just left. The place is very messy and cluttered. No organization to the place at all. Seems thrown together. Prices are outrageous for the amount of food you receive. The Mountain Man breakfast burrito was bland and dry. Very little flacor except from the meat, but that was overcooked. No diet soda of any kind. No sparkling water. I've never seen pot pie with a choice of sauce. Trout with red gravy wasn't great and the trout peices were chewy, so the trout wasn't fresh. However, my daughter got the beef out pie with beef gravy and that was very very good. Super small portion, but good. I also got a cookie that was tasty. This is the only reason for the extra star.

Robin Simmons

This place is AWESOME, homemade baked goods that are to die for. A MUST NOT miss, when you're here. And they serve all the Starbucks coffee drinks. HEAVENLY place

Rich Lawrence Jr

Great little coffee shop and so much more! The coffee is delicious the owner Kim was very friendly and fun to talk with. You can tell she is very passionate about making the best food possible for her customers. I had the ham and cheese croissant and it was amazing! I’ll definitely be back. Didn’t even realize I came in the door 45 min before she opens and she didn’t say a word just made me a fresh cup of delicious coffee. Must go!!!

Jennifer Pezzarossi

This store is awesome. The people are so friendly they will make you feel like family. We were in West during the closed season. This one one of a handful of places opened. We were here on our Anniversary she made it as special as possible. with a table set up just for us with candlelight. More than I would have ever guessed. Thank you to all the crew for making our night special. We had such a great time getting to know you. If you are in town go there.the pot pies are delicious, the handmade pastries are to die for loved it all.

Victoria Fisher

The burritos here are phenomenal, the service is great, and the owner is really sweet. Unfortunately the coffee is not very good.

Mary Oh

Chocolate cake!!!! Awesome!!!!! Would give extra stars for service and quality food

Linda Green

I have all good things to say about Mountain Mama's Coffee House & Bakery! I ordered a birthday cake over the phone with Kim, the owner, and picked it up on June 13, 2018. (I had posted before that I was having trouble getting hold of them, but quickly received a reply and learned that they were having problems with their phone system.) The cake was a fresh lemon blueberry cake and was the most delicious cake!!! The flavors, texture, and icing were all wonderful and tasted so homemade, not like your typical bakery cake. Everyone loved it! We also bought lots of pastries which were all very good and fresh, then returned a few days later and had their Bison pot pie for lunch -- very tasty! Thank you Kim and staff at Mountain Mama's, you helped to make my 60th birthday a very memorable birthday event!

Ryan Mcdermott

If your mamma was a mountain mamma then you’d be home right now eating a pastry!

Diane Bowen

Starbucks coffee and donuts. Even gluten free scones. But the line was really slow and donuts a little stale.

Catie Makatura

The facility is quaint and welcoming. We ordered bagels and coffee. For an expensive bill, we waited 23 minutes for the second bagel and both bagels were so dense, we could not even cut or bite through them. On top of that, they did not give us the proper coffee order. Would not recommend going here.

Jeffrey Sprague

Great coffee, pastries and breakfast items. We loved the food and the service. They also offer take out pot pies. Our breakfast burritos were fantastic.

Cameron Smith

This place has some of the best game pot pie I have ever had. Mama is one of the most welcoming people and made us feel like home. We also got some croissants that were fresh out of the oven and I highly recommend!

Lucas walta

Great service and food. Lots of smiling faces

Social Me Consulting

great place to pick up some coffee or breakfast before heading to the park

Pareekshit Singh

Loved the place and the various pasteries n coffees.

Shyam Patel

Awesome place to grab pastries!

Irving Schoppe

Did I need a coffee and Mt Momma waz perfect, plus a great breakfast sammy.

Richard Hoover

Coffe is great, pastries I wish were on a few days old.

Carole Williams

What a disappointment and a ripoff for chicken pot pie. The pot pie was like thick tomato soup with veggies and if you looked hard enough you could find chicken. I’m not a visitor but a local and very disappointed!! Not going back.

Keith Wagner

Good

Elizabeth Rungis

The pastries were delicious but some of the worst coffee I've had. We got a latte, adult hot chocolate and a kid temperature hot chocolate. They were all almost a third of the way empty when we got them. The kids temperature hot chocolate was so hot that even adding a third of a cup that was missing with cold milk she still couldn't drink it. And all three is the just tasted like hot milk. Not super impressed. If this was a review just for the coffee or would be 1 start, but the pastries were 5 starts so that's why I have 3 stars.

Kara Schmitt

Fresh and delicious homemade food! Perfect breakfast before the Park

Stephanie Greco

Great local bakery. Friendly service. They make great bagel breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Also fresh pastries- I had a very good huckleberry scone. Quick service. Would recommend this place!

Angie Somerville

The ham and cheese was gpod but too much pastry to it. The coffee was excellent

Joanne DeCarli

Wonderful baked goods, and breakfasts! Friendly staff, Baker, owner!

Carol Moore

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries, great coffee and very friendly! Come early the line can get long and limited seating

jon Grove

Cute coffee shop, great baked goods, this is a locals spot.

Trinity Gough

Had to wait 40 minutes to get a deli sandwich because they threw out my ticket. When I asked how much longer it would be they were very rude and told me to wait 10 more minuets. Don't go here if you want to do anything else that day.

Clay Schutt

Standard Starbucks. Menus were not available. High end expensive pastries. In line with what you would expect in West Yellowstone.

Cindy Armstrong

Scones and ham/cheese turnovers were really yummy! I highly recommend getting those. The cinnamon rolls were pretty good. My only suggestion is make sure they warm up your food adequately because when we ate them in the car the turnovers were just mildly warm. Other than that, I recommend this place!

Marci Shindel

She told us that they 'weren't her best... (We were campers and got a caramel-filled chocolate muffin. It was delicious! Loved the positive sayings around the store too!

Francisco O

Food was great - by far the best breakfast we have tried in West Yellowstone and definitely recommend. (Out of the 3 best rated in Google) Coffee was solid, as expected (Starbucks). Would recommend to improve in operations as the queue was slow and there were some errors on processing the order (We understand Sunday morning is a tough day). For those buying food to have on the park during the day, it’s also the best choice out of those we have tried - solid sandwich. Hope the operations improve so I can give a 5 star next time!

Bill V

Awesome little coffee shop with very tasty pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Best place for breakfast in town.

Jewell Coleman

Not a place to go if you want an in-town experience. It’s just an over populated Starbucks and because of all the out-of-towners there’s quite a lot of chaos. I had a buttered croissant and a coffee and it was good but I did have to come up and remind them of the food I ordered before I got it. I’ll probably go somewhere else in the future.

Megan Kennedy

You have to eat here. I've been coming to Yellowstone for 10+ years with my family, and this is our all time new favorite. Hands down best food in the Yellowstone area. They use amazing locally sourced foods, and they specialize in game meats. So tasty. They also have a great selection of pastries and pies you can take home (pot pies and fruit pies). We chatted with Mountain Mama herself who gave us some cool baking tips... She loves to spread her knowledge and you can tell she has such a passion for food. Everything we had was so delicious. The pheasant pot pie was so tasty. We also had a few of the burritos, blackberry and huckleberry turnovers, huckleberry scone, huckleberry sugar cookie, peach turnover... All beyond delicious. You've got to go!

Sarah V. Chmelicek

Super friendly staff. Delicious pastries, yummy coffee. Really cute souvenirs and jewelry.

Benjamin Bowen

There was a large line, since the person at the register didn't know how to operate it. The donuts were good, but not fresh. The coffee was Starbucks, so if that's what you want, it's good. Lots of baked goods, sandwiches and fruit also. The prices were inflated, but comparable to inside Yellowstone.

Kavya V rao

Love the vibe here. Friendly people managing the place and fresh yummy food.

David Vonk

Great fresh pastries

Amy Hoven

Great food and helpful service. They carry local products and gifts, too!

Thomas Riedmueller

Super nice staff, their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are delicious.

Duncan Goodrich

The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, they are down right sweet! The pastry portions are gigantic, cinnamon rolls as big as your face. Try the huckleberry anything, you won't be disappointed. Oh and the coffee is great too! Repeat vacation customer.

John KERNAN

Great place

Jay Chandra

Timings are incorrect. Closed at 4.30 PM. And yes, I was at correct location.

Jeffrey Miller

A great small town coffee shop and bakery. Uses Starbucks coffee so if you want the big city coffee with a local feel this place meets that.

Carolyn Lowe Sterrett

Been here 3 times in one weekend! Amazing pot pies, croissants, breakfast sandwiches too. Also great coffee!

Richard Hernandez

Really good coffee. She really takes pride in her pastries, and they are good. Meals also.

Christina Mogan

Cute little shop. Very friendly staff. Great deli sandwich.

Amadeo van der Kolk

Nice snacks but a bit overpriced.

Ashley Lasher

This place is your One Stop Shop! They have breakfast sandwiches AND tons of pastries. I was also able to get my husband and I LUNCH to go into the park! One of the best deli sandwiches in town, for sure. The best part is...they serve Starbucks Coffee :)

Franz Pentenrieder

Perfect before heading off to Yellowstone

Rod Young

Many bison along the road today.

Laurin C

The biggest chocolate croissant I have ever seen! Tasted great!!! Coffee fabulous!!

Paul Southern

Overpriced tourist trap. $5 Starbucks. The fact they had Starbucks is the 2nd star. Small $13 breakfast burritos. I suppose I’m a bit jealous of the amount of revenue they can generate from Yosemite visitors from a small lease footprint.

Sara Cooper

As soon as we entered the cafe, Mountain Mama treated us just like family. We ordered several meat pies, elk and bison were the favorites, and it all tasted great. Huckleberry scone was also delicious!

William Fricke

Absolutely fantastic food, and the friendliest service you will find. Pastys are dynamite and don't miss the brats!

John Johnson

For those of us who thirst for exceptional coffee, Mountain Mamas is an oasis in the desert of mundane beverages. It offers Starbucks coffee as well as other varieties, and they have amazing pastry. In addition, they will make to order sandwiches and/or a box lunch. This place is a little piece of civilized paradise next to Yellowstone Park and should be respected as well as enjoyed.

Jax Baker

Loved this place! Freshly baked pastries, excellent coffee and homemade pot pies (with a veggie option), happy and helpful staff and a cool vibe. Highly recommended.

Jean Lofy

Great service, delicious food and coffee. We ate here yesterday and today and now are leaving town. If we were staying another day, I would return here tomorrow for more delicious treats and sandwiches.

Serena Thibodeau

We were in search of the perfect huckleberry pie and we found it here! The staff were friendly and the pie was fresh!

Dana Forbes

Layout is awkward so it makes ordering a little different. The food was good. Coffee was not the usual Starbucks quality expected. Overall... It was okay.

Wilna Beard

A must visit when in West Yellowstone. Excellent service, fantastic wholesome food all home made. Thank you Kim for making us feel at home, far from home in South Africa.

Bob Swihart

We only went in for a maple bar, but they had just sold the last one. The guy said if you have 5 minutes I can make one fresh for you. We could not believe it, they special made one doughnut for use. We also eyed the soup and decided to have soup and sandwich for lunch. Wow, everything was great. And the people are so dedicated and enthused to make sure the customer is happy and that their food is the best. This will be out go to place when in West Yellowstone every time. Please help these great people out and treat yourself to a great meal of snack. I am sure you will not be disappointed. Sorry, we had already started eating before taking pictures of some of our food.
