We returned with a friend who was visiting from out of town to give this location another chance. The coffee was hot and the cinnamon bun was fresh. Our Saigon & La Bamba Bocadillos were delish! This is our first stop everytime we visit the downtown strip. It's a very popular place, it offers more than just coffee. There are gifts, food and a variety in house roasted coffees. We always buy their bags of coffee as gifts for friends when we return home. The staff are engaging, they're always quick with telling us about local events, from musicals to the Tuesday Farmers Market. Love the place!!

This exposed brick, high ceiling shop is the one everyone goes to. Great gift shop for those from out of town and incredible for everyone. I dig the honor system drip coffee to expedite the line, but the baristas make incredible latte's so I wait. Pastry game is decent, don't ask for your cinnamon roll heated up, they microwave it and it just turns to rubber. I haven't tried their meals though they look quite good. Punch cards only need 6 drinks to a free one (up to $5).

Yes yes yes. Montana Coffee Traders for the win. Pro tip - call your order in and avoid the extra wait. I love the drip coffee but what keeps me a loyal MCT fan is their bocadillo! Yum yum - the Farm-to-Market Bocadillo is a tortilla with local sausage, peppers and cheese wrapped up into a hot melty breakfast perfection. I order once a week, or sometimes more. I will say on a few rare occasions it has come a liiiittle over toasted, where the tortilla is black and crispy in some parts. Not the end of the world, and still completely eatable. Besides the food and coffee, the store itself is a sight to see. Some of the coolest, most unique toys and art and decor you’ll find anywhere. My daughter loves this place and so do I. Open early, doesn’t close until 6ish(?)

Busy place which was fully packed when we arrived on a Saturday morning. Took almost ten to fifteen minutes to find an empty table for five. There was some wait time for the food as well. Had ordered the hot chocolate with cream, and the omelette with bacon and cheese. The hot chocolate had a smooth and rich flavor. The barista was kind enough to remake it for me after it took too long to deliver the first one due to confusion about its destination. The omelette came with mashed potatoes and a slice of bread on the side and was quite delicious as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you're not in a rush and can accept the wait.

One of my favorite places. Many varieties of finely roasted coffee. These guys really know how to roast coffee. There are more varieties in the store than you find in the grocery stores. Cozy atmosphere. Interesting things to look at and buy - gifts, jewelry, cards, coffee and tea brewing and drinking stuff. All high quality. Beautiful greeting cards. Skilled baristas. Some really yummy baked goods. It's a great place.

Went here today to grab a cup of coffee before other businesses opened. Ordered coffee and was told it was self serve, however the entire coffee bar was out of coffee with the exception of decaf. The staff of ~5 people seemed more concerned with joking around with each other and regulars. After alerting them that the coffee was out, we had to stand around for over 10 minutes while they brewed more. If I had not already paid, I would have left. Not a very good impression on this out of town traveler.
