REVIEWS OF Ghost Town Coffee Roasters IN Montana

Ghost Town Coffee Roasters provide fantastic roasted blends at great prices. Their customer service is outstanding. YES, I recommend this roaster if you want great coffee. Love the Clean and 1889!!

Courtney Reisig

This is a cute little place with great service and even better coffee. Also, their hot chocolate is off the charts good. They have tables and couches to work or chat with friends and it is a nice down to earth atmosphere. They have their coffee mills going like a factory process so you can see everything being made but it is not loud which was very surprising to me! Cute little place with very good drinks.

Spent a few days in Bozeman towards the beginning of a 2 month van trip. While there are many great coffee shops in Bozeman, this was my favorite. If I lived in town this would be my go to shop. Ended up going here 2 or 3 days and every time was great. Highly recommend.

Donna Kubowitsch

Passing through Bozeman and just had to stop. We were here a couple of years ago. The coffee and service were wonderful then and still remains the same. Even got some coffee to bring home.

Cecelia McAfee

A little disappointed that “Ghost town” wasn’t a literal description of this coffee shop. I was definitely expecting more of the supernatural, but the great coffee made up for the lack of literal ghouls. If you’re ever sitting outside enjoying the weather on a roasting day, you might experience an “it’s raining coffee ash” type of day. Don’t worry, it’s exhilarating. Best bean juice this side of the Mississipp.

Ghost Town. Look no further.

I will say that Ghost Town Coffee easily one of the best in town. However, I found the employees to be terribly lacking in customer service. At MSU, we carry the coffee by the bag for sale since this semester. I was lucky enough to be one of the culinary employees to cast my vote on what coffee to serve/sell on campus. I choose Ghost Town in the blind test, as such I decided to give them a chance and go to the store despite it being across town from me. However, from the moment I was asked if I was a local and said I had just moved here a year ago the employees turned cold as ice. I tried some small talk to mentioned how the coffee was great and I was looking into which coffee blend to buy regularly, but the blond barista had gave up on small talk or any suggestions. After getting a latte, she kept giving dirty looks to my wife and I for looking around the store. When we did sit for a minute, my wife suggested that we move away from the open door due to the cold breeze (she has some circulation problems) which we just moved to the other side of the store. Immediately after sitting the blonde barista opened the other door next to us half-way for no apparent reason at all. So after finishing the latte we went to leave and I tried to catch her eye as we left, as she turned and saw us I said "Thank you," to which her reply was to say nothing, avoid eye contact, turn around, and stare at the far wall with her back to my wife and I. The whole experience was very off-putting. It felt like the whole time I had been judged an outsider and therefore didn't deserve common curiosity. While there coffee is good, this is Bozeman and there are other good coffee shops that, whom don't have a chip on their shoulder and try to make their customers feel unwelcome.

Ghost Town was previously only a coffee roaster and retail-side service business (espresso machine installs/service, coffee flavorings, etc.). Now they have a new location and an actual coffee shop. It’s fantastic to finally be able to get their house roasted coffee served by properly trained staff in a great atmosphere. I love riding my bike over here when the weather/seasons permit to have an espresso and a baked item. In the winter they are on the way to and from Bridger Bowl. The location really is perfect year round.

Aaron Traxinger

Great location on the way to playing up in the canyon.

Jason Heckman

Excellent coffee. Had the Burundi pour over and would highly recommend.

Philip Huang

Good coffee, great donut, nice space, friendly service. Came with a few friends on our way out to the mountains to go hiking, and stopped by for some coffee. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - and service was fast. Great benches and chairs to sit on. And solid wifi too. Place wasn't too crowded or loud. Great for a conversation with friends.

Amanda Kleinhans

A beautiful cup of coffe that tasted as good as it looked. I cannot wait to try my Costa Rica beans later today.

For being a brand new location, they have been great so far. They are the only coffee shop in that part of town. Friendly staff and great coffee.

$5.00 for a tiny cold brew that’s not even “cold” 6.50 for a trash already prepared breakfast burrito. I asked for salsa to be put inside would not have ordered it if I know it’s just sitting under a heat lamp. Don’t understand these other reviews. Would not return a gas station breakfast burrito tastes better. UPDATE: They steam their trash burritos. 16oz is not large by anyone’s standard. Your nitro coffee is schwag.

Kaitlin Pelletier

Amazing gluten-free mixed berry scones and iced chai! I believe the scone had blueberries, raspberries and huckleberries, along with shredded coconut and a granular sugar topping. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I originally wanted to order a breakfast burrito gluten-free but they're pre- made so that couldn't happen. The atmosphere is chill. The space has an industrial rustic design to it with local art hanging on the wall. There are small two-person tables, long community style tables, a raised bar and couches to sit at. Besides the main entrance to the coffee shop, there is a whole- sale entrance, and a space in the back called "The Lab" where they prepare coffees and such. They offer indoor or outdoor seating and free wi-fi with a password. There are also 3 unisex public bathrooms.

Coffee is freakin' outstanding. Probably my favorite coffee roaster right now. Only just started ordering from them....but it will NOT be my last. Whole Bean - CLEAN (One of their Signature Blends). I honestly would not change a single thing about this one. It's literally perfect.

Stopped here on our trip from IL to ID and had a wonderful BeeSting from a very friendly Barista. I've been here before and will stop again whenever passing thru!

Wonderful space and even better coffee and customer service. Perfect for meetings or a quick fill up, and don't forget your yummy breakfast burrito for more sustainable fuel. A fantastic addition to that end of town- especially once Story Mill Community Park is constructed. Thanks Ghost Town for your vision, community support and stellar service.

This is probably my favorite coffee place in town. One of the few that offer coconut milk as a dairy alternative, their espresso is great, and great service. As a former barista and longtime local, this is the place to go!

The perfect place to stop before or after a hike or skiing. Fantastic, fresh roasted coffee, great staff and good place to buy unique Bozeman souvenirs/swag for gifts or if you're visiting.

Fantastic coffee and great staff. We stopped in to grab some beans and a coffee on our way through town, and every single employee was friendly and engaging. They even helped us find where to buy their beans where we live! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

amazing latte and breakfast burrito, reasonable prices, good service, friendly staff. I also left my hydroflask there before I left town and they shipped it to me. Not all heros wear capes, and these folks are what every member of society should strive to be. Did i mention the latte was delicious. Thanks Corey!

Trendy coffee shop with simple yet quality offerings. They serve all the more refined brewing methods as well as drip. Food choices have grown since they opened, and now include a breakfast burrito special for those heading up to Bridger. Beans are also available for purchase here.

This is my favorite coffee brand in Bozeman. I love their single origin coffee and the stories they tell on the bags.

I haven't been to enough of Bozemans coffee places to say this is the best in Bozeman but it is good enough that it has become my go to for coffee in Bozeman. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, consistently excellent coffee, good pastry and food options. Highly recommend it.

coffee and pastries were excellent. Set-up is nice. You do need a drive-through for all the ski traffic. Counter is also nice when a single needs just one space. Good luck on this venture.

Trevor Beitman

Great place. Service good and coffee hot.

James Weston Eckhardt

While the atmosphere isn't the type for long study sessions, the coffee is wonderful! And based on its target audience (ski bums headed for Bridger), they are poised to succeed!

Pretty plane jane coffee to be honest , not the worst.

We buy their coffee direct from them at our office and leave it up to them to provide us with "roaster's choice". We love the variety of coffees they provide and often end up with small, limited edition roasts that provide a unique treat to our office. They care about the craft of coffee and I appreciate that.
