This Coffee Shop corresponds to the category of Cafe.
The food was really good here. The mimosa's are made with fresh squeezed OJ which is nice. Our party arrived shortly after it opened (we had a reservation) and I think the wait staff and kitchen staff were slammed as it took quite a while to take our order and a very long time for it to come out. We were there for over an hour with no food, nothing even to snack on which was tough because we were having brunch. Anyway, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and still recommend this place for brunch based on the quality of the food alone.
Simply good food for any time - from weekend brunch to a quick coffee and pastry or gelato...also a lovely date night they put out candles and serve fresh pastas and a seasonal menu.
Very good food. Nice location and space. Can be difficult to hear inside due to the high walls. Outside patio very nice.
Great service. Diverse menu selection. Delicious food. Hip atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
Best pizza I’ve had since Chicago. Absolutely incredible would 11/10 reccomend
Amazing veggie sandwich with char-grilled asparagus, creamy goat cheese, and beautiful European-style bread. Raspberry almond tart was perfect. Really nice patio and kind help behind the register.
Love their food, the venue, and the wonderful people who work there! They have this great outdoor area, but the inside room is just gorgeous. Their cooking is classy and experimental. Always enjoy being there.
Not only a beautiful building interior , but very well prepared food. We had egg sandwiches pastries and good coffee. All of the sandwiches were on a very nice sourdough thin sliced bread with perfect eggs and avocado with bacon. We can’t wait to try this place for lunch and dinners. This is one of our must-stop locations whenever my friend and I pass through Missoula. Not only does it make us believe for a moment that we’ve stepped over into Tuscany , but we come here for the Lamb Burger!
Juliette is a kind soul whose serving prowess makes even the most hungover dining experience seem light and inspiring. Also, Silas, the Warriors are boring to watch.
Amazing friendly staff, beautiful decor
Very quaint cozy yet sophisticated, delicious dinner options are paired well with gelato and several options of traditional desserts, cheese cakes with a tangy twist of passion fruit
Fresh, neighborhood feel, nice variety.
Great staff! The food was delicious and the atmosphere, although a little noisy, is always pleasant and it seems we always see friends there. They some nice gluten free and dairy free options too.
The food was unbelievable!
Love cafe dolce for my coveted girls nights out. The wine list is always great and the food is worth every $ listed next to it. The servers are always kind and thoughtful- everything you want on an evening out.
I had the lamb burger with goat cheese, which I was reluctant to share until I had a bite of my boyfriends pasta! High quality, fragrant tea was the perfect way to start the meal, but the friendly service and sweet smiles brightened my experience. Not only is the food here a 10/10, but the service and peaceful atmosphere is why I'm giving my experience 5 stars!
My husband and I are on a mission to find the best coffee in Missoula... so far this one takes the cake!
Great place for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Like a European cafe in the middle of a historic neighborhood.
Nice looking place, good clean water, good menu options, on the pricey side. Although i just had soup it was very good!
Terrific coffee drinks. Nice baked goods. Gorgeous outdoor seating. Indoor seating is a bit too loud for my tastes.
Excellent choices of food and coffees
Delicious but super expensive, particularly for the amount of self service you have to do.
Terrific service - Our waiter helped my grandfather and I find lodging in town. The petite filet and the ravioli were incredible.
Nice with retro outdoor seating. A good spot to catch up with a friend or work on your laptop.
Great food, coffee, beer and wine. Service is good and prices are reasonable.
Great food, staff was helpful for the most part. Wish the portions were bigger ... but delicious non the less!
Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Try the deep sea fish of the day; the preparation was exquisitely balanced. We wish we were staying in Missoula longer so we could go again! Highly recommended.
Blueberries and creme gelato is absolutely amazing. Nothing compares to it, I wish I could buy gallons
Some of the best food I've ever tasted in my whole life! You walk in and it's like suddenly you have been sent straight to Italy with this light and airy architecture yet warm atmosphere. It's absolutely perfect and I won't be able to visit Missoula without coming here again! Get the Gravlax if you want to try something new and wonderful
We hadn't eaten there in a year. It had always been good in the past. My dinner was so salty I couldn't finish it. The top item on the menu was already sold out and we ate 6pm. All other diners in our party were unimpressed with their dinners and had always loved the food before. before. They must have gotten as new chef. Probably won't go back.
Beautiful patio and open air indoor seating.Excellent wine list and gelato selection.
Nice open and quiet cafe. If you come here, get the bahn mi. It's exceptionally delicious and the pork just melts right in your mouth, easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
Absolutely love this restaurant. A must when traveling thru Missoula!
Food was great, place was busy. Service was good under the condtions.
Love this place! The building is gorgeous, the good tremendous. Service was a little wonky but a great place to eat, both locations.
Our waitress was the kindest most attentive server I have ever experienced. She went what I consider above and beyond to make out visit as enjoyable as possible. The food was outstanding and environment fantastic.
Don't take your kids here. Cafe Dolce is an amazing coffee shop and resturante but it's not really kid friendly. The food is great and the coffee is terrific.
Great relaxed coffee cafe with a Berkeley feel!
I have never had a bad meal hear and I have eaten here over a hundred times.
Great food and atmosphere. Wonderful wines list and a nice outdoor patio in the warm months.
Oh my word that brunch is incredible. Really good pastries as well.
Very good place to eat. Great service and food.
Excellent service! I've actually seen an improvement lately! More smiles from the staff .... so whatever you're doing, keep it up!! And the tea selection deserves some acknowledgment because its outstanding. The coffee for me has always been 100 %
The dinner entries, appetizers and desserts all sounded good, looked good, but the taste just wasn't there.. the waitress was amazing and she made a so so meal very delightful.
My husband and I had dinner here a few evenings ago. Sasha and Lilli were wonderful! They were extremely attentive even though the restaurant was quite busy. The service and food was amazing and we will be back!
The service was awful, but the food was pretty good (nothing special though).
The chicken kale chop salad was pretty good. I really liked the sesame seeds and honey roasted nuts, and the roasted chicken was good, though the portion for the price seemed a bit lacking.
Great !!
Enough said
Fantastic food and friendly service. Three of us ate here and we all ordered different things. I had the breakfast sandwich, and my only regret was not ordering a second one for later. The minestrone soup was delicious and the other sandwiches were given high marks by my compadres. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.
The atmosphere is amazing here. Love the super high ceilings. The food is pretty good too
Good, if overpriced food. A little pretentious
Have individual little booths, and outlets available at each. Very convenient. Also a knowledgeable barista that pointed me in the right direction of what to choose to drink !
Good food but I've had better service at fast food chains
Nice place
Food was great, service a bit slow.
The ambiance is great but the service not so much. The selection of goods is substandard.
Great food, excellent service. We especially enjoyed the outdoor feel when the large patio doors are open.
It's a lovely place where I had my lunch, so good, so tasty!
Classifying this restaurant is difficult. It is like a neighborhood restaurant in that the parking lot is smaller than the seating - street parking otherwise. The evening offering is like a fine restaurant. The breakfast and luncheon menu is much simpler. The food is always good. Pastries and gelato are also good. The outdoor seating is delightful, depending on the weather. Pricing is moderate.
If you want to spend all your money on a meal as small as a tapa, then go home to prepare a second meal, you found your place. So over priced. $9 for the tiniest veggie sandwich with a salad on the side that consists of 4 pieces of lettuce and dressing. Taste is great, value leaves you wondering, feeling scammed.
You got to try their Lamb Burger it was amazing! Great service and friendly staff! Will be back!
Good food, atmosphere more for adults but not for small children. We were wearing t-shirts and jeans and felt out of place. A bit pretentious.
Good food!!
Coffee. Classic egg sandwich
Nice open atmosphere, the service was excellent and they let you hang out and don't try to move you along. Loved brunch!
Great food and service
GREAT BRUNCH
Brunch is bomb!
Delicious and unique food. The service was quick despite being pretty busy. They have at least 20 flavors of gelato. The 3 I got were amazing. I will definitely be back.
Stylish and comfortable in a beautiful airy, sunny building. Great for families and couples. Excellent meals, breakfasts, pastries, wine and espresso. All major food groups covered.
Great food and service. Love the wine list!
Went there for some coffe and their service was amazing. Shout out to a girl named "Augustine" for being super friendly and helpful
This is a trendy place. Lunch is especially good, with several sandwiches that are notable. In summer, the Heritage BLT CANNOT be beat anywhere in this country. Best I've ever had. The portions are really just right. Can be a bit noisy inside. Parking is a challenge, so plan to park on a side street, or walk or bike. Dinner is good, but a bit pricey. My wife and I will walk on hot coals to get a chocolate mousse cake here.
Hangout have a cup!#!
The vibe was a little snooty but the coffee was DELICIOUS. I would return for a to-go order for sure.
This place! A must visit every time i'm in Missoula!
Great food and outside patio dining. The pasta is homemade and always prepared al dente! Love this little gem! Don't pass this place up!
I love brunch here
I've been to Caffe Dolce a few times and they never fail to impress. I always leave full and with a smile on my face. Caffe Dolce is my favorite restaurant in Missoula and I can't wait until I eat here again!
Out of town and looking for a good restaurant. Absolutely not disappointed! Excellent Service- five star pasta, and a succulent steak. Kept the kitchen open to send us off with a mac and cheese. We will be back.
Phenomenal ambience.
My favorite spot in town. Especially in warmer months. Their food is incredible and their wine list is one of the best in Montana. It has a very European vibe, just with better service.
Such an awesome atmosphere. The food was delicious and served quickly. Wonderful selection of teas and coffee. Service was amazing. We both wanted to sit and stay longer long after we were finished eating. Can't wait to go back!
Food is excellent. Ambience is great. Great place for Sunday brunch.
Lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Delicious coffee, beautiful pastries, wonderful gelato. Somehow spacious and cozy at once. Plenty of menu options for everyone, especially if you like wine with dinner.
I frequent this place for coffee, meet-ups, and business one-on-one meetings quite frequently. Great coffee 5-stars there. I'm also a 5-star on the lunch menu. It's a perfect lunch portions and an quite a healthy menu as well. My favorite lunch item is the cheese sandwich. Trust me it's awesome. The dinners are a bit over priced in my opinion and I have not been overly impressed. They are often complex dishes that seem to be trying to hard. Sometimes simplicity could be better than a million flavors. But, that being said, it's good food over all and I would recommend it to folks looking for a nice find dining dinner atmosphere in Missoula.
One of the best restaurants in Missoula!
Food is pretty good. Customers could learn how to park, and where to cross a street though.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Don’t skip out on dessert!
Local source upscale food.. I have been many times for breakfast or brunch. Great beer selection, usually rare craft or premium import on offer, wide selection. Very open seating which can be a little noisy, but there are sound deadening panels high up in the main dining area which help. Other seating areas are cozier and there is outdoor table options in warm weather. Happy staff from what I have seen.
This place has amazing food and a gorgeous atmosphere. It's very popular with a small parking lot, so be prepared to park in the neighborhoods.
Didn't eat there yet, but the ambiance is lovely. Dimly lit, warm and romantic. Small menu, in a good way. Can't wait to dine there!
Terrific vegetable dishes, are all at around eight dollars apiece can’t go wrong!
I've traveled around the West quite a bit the last few years. It's a rare treat to find such an exceptional 'local' spot. Everything about Caffe Dolce is delightful. We stumbled upon it on a recent weekend in Missoula--with delicious results. Our Friday night dinner of a well-designed charcuterie board (the best I've had) was paired with selections from the great wine menu. Sunset dining on the patio added to the experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, sincere and fun. We came back for a quick latte on Saturday morning on our way to a campus event, then returned for dinner with a guest! Saturday night dinner was just as lovely. In our group, we had: house-made pappardelle (with a phenomenal ragu!), Wagyu flank steak (perfectly prepared and paired with a staggeringly good polenta), and the lamb burger. More great wines (and a cider) and some house-made gelato for dessert. I can't wait to get back to Missoula so I can return to Caffe Dolce!
Such a cool space. Usually pretty loud. Food is just ok.
Affordable and such a great escape. Everything is so good!
Their soup is amazing, their rosemary rolls are awesome, good service, really great sour dough pizza too.
Delicious and unique dishes. Great coffee! Friendly and efficient staff. Sarah was awesome. Ambience on the patio was relaxing and most enjoyable!
Caffe Dulce is the best place on this planet. I go there every single day I'm in Missoula. Their coffee is the best I've ever had. The food is AMAZING. My sister claims the eggs are the best SHES EVER HAD! The whole atmosphere is absolutely to die for. I LOVE sitting out on the deck in the sun with a coffee. It's my happy place. And there is flowers everywhere and an umbrella if you don't want to sit in the sun! Plus sitting inside is good too! The whole building is absolutely perfect. THIS PLACE IS FIVE STAR MATERIAL.
That Banh MI... A little bummed that the brunch menu is only available on the weekend but I get it. The lunch was worth waiting for. Love the tables outside. Friendly attentive staff, very helpful at the counter and reasonable wait times and communication. Beautiful building. Feels like you're there for tea.
I went in for breakfast and after looking at the menu and deciding what to get I was told they didn't have it. Staff was not good about suggesting alternatives and we're distracted when I was talking to them. The girl taking my order turned from me and talked to other staff and then another customer, so I felt like I just wasn't really too important to me. Got a drip coffee that the girl knew nothing about and got no refill, although it coat me a couple bucks. Food was ok. Don't know that I'll return. Better places with better customer service than here.
Good Italian food, good coffee, nice atmosphere
We had the mushroom pasta dish and chicken kimchi dish. Both were excellent. We would eat there again for sure.
I visited this place during my road trip to Yellowstone National Park for a lunch break. I am going to give five stars to this place for food, service and interior decor. We ordered their latte, vegetarian sandwich, penne pasta with marinara, tomato soup, and minestrone soup. The vegetarian sandwich was flavorful. It had unique ingredients like green apples, asparagus, and arugula which I don't see in a sandwich very often. I totally devoured their soups, just brilliant. I think the only preparation which felt pretty average was the penne pasta, I have experienced better. They have a cool outdoor patio and a huge indoor space as well.
First I'll start off by saying that if you're going to charge $11 for a sandwich, it should be good. Not a tiny baguette with two slices of salami and some mayonnaise. I originally was going to order a chicken sandwich, but was told they were out. The minestrone was just ok, needing salt and it was about as good as you would expect from a can. The girl at the cash register was absolutely expressionless, and acted as if she was doing us a favor to take our orders. Overall I was unimpressed and will not be back.
Been going here for years. 99% of the time it's incredible. Service can be lacking - not often though.
Used to be 5 stars. Got a new chef in 2016-2017, and removed several of the best items from the menu. Moved to a tapas style menu, so portions are overall quite a bit smaller now. Food tends to be too salty as well now. Still a lovely restaurant with a multitude of great options. Great outdoor seating in the summer.
My fav Sunday brunch spot! We can't ever decide what to get because we love it all! Crab benedict and pistachio waffles are up there though! We each order something different and share.
The food is here is very good. Service is sometimes a bit slow. Pricey place but in my opinion it is worth what is paid. Their bread is a highlight.
New to Missoula and the first visit here I had the most amazing Caesar salad I have ever had. I have been back three times and it has never been as tasty as the first time. It must have been a fluke. I'm sad about it.
Good coffee and breakfast. Avocado Toast is awesome.
Great food. Beautiful building and helpful service
Great place. Beautiful paintings on the walls and ceilings. The food was great, but a tad rich. Had amazing gelato. I would defiantly recommend going here.
1) Unprofessional moody crew 2) Why you ask for a tip before you serve me :/. I think the high rating is fake. Try to fine other places to spend your money if you want to be treated as real customer. To the owner: If you want to be an owner of professional restaurant, you need to teach your team something called (Excellent Communication) :@
A really great place especially when seated in the back because it's not so echoey which would be my only complaint, but the food is excellent and the service is superb.... As for the music it gets my vote as the worst sound system I have ever heard.... All you can hear is a droning Bass which is very annoying while you're trying to eat, they should have thought of that when they build the place perhaps no music would be nice.
One of my favorite places personally and professionally. I love bringing clients here for a nice coffee or lunch. Personally my favorite is the lamb burger. Hopefully I will be able to make for dinner some day!
On a sunny day its a great place for a snack or a meal. Great selection. Great coffee. I love to stop in and hang out for an hour and just enjoy it.
Delicious food and friendly staff. A little pricey but totally worth it. A favorite neighborhood place.
Brunch was delicious! Despite being very busy, service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Went for breakfast after a long night. Friendly service, good espresso drinks, and really good food. The fried egg sandwich and salmon gravlox were awesome. We sat out on the patio and it was really relaxing. Highly recommend.
Excellent service and friendly staff, lipstick stained glasses even after washing though. That is my only qualm compared to everything else.
All the dishes we ordered were incredibly salty. The food looked pretty, had special ingredients. The waitstaff were professional. The building itself had a really nice feel inside with very high ceilings, and big windows. But, the food was so salty as to be almost inedible. (Spring 2017)
Such a beautiful place to eat, brunch is fantastic. If the weather is nice, sit on the patio and have a glass or two of wine or beer. Can't go wrong with this one!
Really lovely space, helpful staff and delicious food!
The Gelato was delicious... I would go back for another...
Swanky and cool. Love the gelato bar.
Very good have what I love!
Very unique menu. Great service. Beautiful setting and artwork. I had the avacodo toast and drip coffee with cream.Their coffee is top!
Great breakfast and coffee.
Always good coffee and nice atmosphere.
Good food, vibes, easy walking access and would come back again.
Geeat atmosphere and service, beautiful flowers surrounding the patio, good food and wine!!
Very nice inside, good food but the staff could be more friendly and helpful.
This place is beautiful. My first time there and honestly, my last. I went to lunch with a friend, ordered before her and got a simple, not grilled sandwich and soup. She got a grilled chicken sandwich and soup. Her food got to our table and I waited thinking mine would soon follow. After a few minutes I asked someone to check. She was not friendly about it at all and told me several of those orders were being made and they were backed up. It was a BLT. Her answer was completely unacceptable. After another few minutes someone came out with my soup and tried to give it to my friend. That already had her while lunch sitting in front of her. Then after another few minutes my sandwich finally arrived. I could tell it had been hastily thrown together. The soup was good. The sandwich was mediocre. The service was seriously lacking. And for a $15 lunch, I really expected more. Not impressed.
Nice atmosphere, good food. Overpriced
Lunch and coffee with my friend at The Mall. The service and food was great! The lattes are the smoothest! Yum!!
It's a nice looking place inside and out but you have to stand in line to order your food. I was there for lunch and the food was good but the place was busy and loud.
Fancy!
A local gem. Fantastic service, great decor, and really good food. Funny thing is that I visited there from Seattle and the 2 out of 3 coffee options they had were from Seattle roasters. Would definitely go back if I were in Missoula again.
We compare every fine dining experience we have to this shining emerald of deliciousness. Sad to have moved away! It's a tad expensive, but totally worth it. Lovely atmosphere, too. It's just a great place for a perfect casual breakfast or lunch, or a fancy dinner.
Very good food, slow delivery, prices are a bit on the high side.... But the food is excellent
Wine was the highlight. Conceptually, the dishes sounded great. Execution was very poor. Our entrees were lackluster at best. For what you pay, not impressed. Service was okay.
Very good food, good atmosphere, good coffee. Great place to meet up with friends
Walked in, looked at menu. Had some gelato and walked out. Didnt see one thing on the menu we would eat.
Wide open space with lots of drink and food options!
Great atmosphere. The gluten free bread on my roast turkey & sprout sandwich was really good!
Great food and coffee thst is reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and nice outdoor seating with umbrellas for the sun.
Great wine list. Good food.
Good food but pricey
My daughter and I have always loved Cafe Dolce in the past and had planned a trip to go for coffee and breakfast this morning. The coffee we ordered was phenomenal, the breakfast however was a real letdown. We ordered the Toasted Campagne With Bacon, Tomato, and White Cheddar and paid extra to get an over medium egg and avocado added to on top of it. They have used fresh tomato every one of the many times we have eaten this dish before, but used sun dried tomatoes this time without changing how the menu reads to let customers know. Had we known this we would have chosen a different dish. The egg that we paid $2/sandwhich extra for was over hard, not medium and the bacon strips they used to have turned into small bits of bacon. It just seems like they are trying to cut corners with their food without the price or menu reflecting that. Very disappointed!
Good food, quick service, good prices.
This is a quaint little Italian cafe with a very nice outside patio also. They usually have a different specialty menu every couple of weeks and they have crazy good desserts including gelato!
Great food, coffee, and atmosphere! Run by the nicest family!
Sunday brunch is great. Fabulous food, great coffee! Service was top notch
Very good! I recommend the lamb burger in particular, and the affagado (espresso poured over gelato) is divine.
Awesome lamb burger with goat cheese!!! We also really enjoyed the chocolate cake with toffee and vanilla gelato! Very friendly and prompt service from our waitress. :)
Artisan coffees that are delicious
